Mama taught me to always start a criticism with a positive so first let me say you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. They have some great food! Now let me follow that with the bad news that service is "eh" and I hope you have a LONG time to wait! One guy in the kitchen and only a couple of girls on staff during a busy Saturday lunch shift hardly seems adequate, although the food came out slow enough the girls were never under a strain. We were left waiting for about an hour for our sandwiches and the guy cooking platformed my fries with a batch he had fried over and over to reheat. I must say however the fries on top that were hiding the greasy fried potato platform were fresh and tasty. I guess that makes it ok huh? Definitely worth the calories, but not if you are in a rush ok because I hear calories settle on your double chin if you are angry by the time you eat it!

This eatery is not much to look at, but they offer an exceedingly creative menu of outstanding food served in a laid back atmosphere by a friendly staff. My wife and I split a crab cake burger served with sweet potato fries for lunch and it was enough food for both of us. This is a must stop location for anyone visiting Natchez and apparently word is out as next to our table was a German couple enjoying one of Slick Rick's famous burger offerings. My only suggestion would be for Slick Rick's to invest in several beer taps as they only offer beer by the bottle (although a good selection of bottled beers).

I go to Slick Rick's almost weekly now because I am usually tempted by whatever their special of the day is on Facebook. I really only had one bad experience with trying a special and that was a roast beef sandwich that was just way too salty. Everything else has been great. The french fries are always seasoned perfectly, but the texture can be hit or miss, on some days they have been the best fries I have ever had. It can be pricey, a sandwich with fries and a drink comes out to about $12, but it is always fresh and tasty and a good once a week treat.

Defeinaitely skip this place, unless you want slow as death service- half rate food (overvooked), and pay a fortune for it- They claim to have rolled out a new menu- the truth is its just NEW prices. Nothing new. I went and shared a BLT with my father- we got 1 sandwich- 1 bag of chips and 2 drinks and it was nearly 16!!!!! I almost died!!! this was only about 11 a few weeks back. This place is overrated. Small town with little options so people "think" this is great food. Its not THAT good. Also, when I complained, they didn't even respond to my message. Real great customer service. Won't go here again for my lunch group.

For years my friends have complained when I bring them to Natchez there is no "healthy fast food"- by which they mean wraps, salads and sandwiches. Now across from the Eola Hotel there is Slick Ricks. The Chef, Rick Simons, is a friendly guy who will be happy to discuss what you want in your wrap. His location also features organic spices.

UPDATE: Slick Rick's contacted me expressing their concern that we be treated well and apologizing for not measuring up. The restaurant is determined to make things right. I'm convinced they place a high value on providing both good food and quality service. ------------ My wife and I have been eating to Slick Rick's ever since we moved to Natchez over a year ago. She became a regular, in fact, visiting the restaurant at least once per week. It was her favorite lunch spot. Whenever we talk about going out for lunch, "Slick Rick's" are always (ALWAYS) the first words out of her mouth, including today. And we've never had a problem...until today. The burger (we had a chili burger) was not cooked to her liking, so we sent it back, only to have it returned with little change in the degree of wellness. Not only that, the chili had been scraped off. As if that's not bad enough, I felt as if we were treated in an offhanded manner with little concern for our satisfaction. When we took the burger back the second time, we were told that it was fully cooked. It felt like a patronizing response that, again, showed little concern for our well-being as customers. That might be okay for a fast food chain, but for a gourmet burger served a what I consider to be a class act establishment, it's unacceptable. In the words of Marshall Fields: "Give the lady what she wants." Not a bad motto to live by if you're in retail. Slick Rick's failed didn't live up to that today.

Extremely salty. I mean Wow! Super salty! Staff was nice. The place was clean, but the salt could stop your heart in 4 bites. I had the French dip. The au jus was stone cold. I don't recommend!

Excellent food. We looked in the window of several restaurants and decided on this place because they had so many options that looked good. My wife had the portabello sandwich and I had the Quasimodo burger and added chili to my fries. Excellent and highly suggested.

YUM. my favorite restaurant in Natchez. My onlyyyyyy complaint if I HAD to say would be that the food is salty. BUT. That is easily overlooked. Perfect lunch place.

Everything is fresh with spices and dressings which they make themselves. Ranch dressing was the best I've ever had. My wife got Crawfish Bread which was great. I got the Triple Bypass. It's a triple decker sandwich and despite the name, it isn't unhealthy. The Triple Decker made with pork loin, ham, bacon, spring mix lettuce, tomato, and some kind of dressings was fantastic. We visit Natchez a weekend each year and we always hit Slick Rick's once for lunch.

Good food. Love their wraps! Great vegan options! Awesome sauces! The dining area is small & charming. A little bit pricey but worth it.

Cute little shop in old town. Friendly staff and the food was yummy. Good prices. I also recommend the spicy mexican chicken wrap.

I had read about Slick Rick's before we went to Natchez and knew we needed to go. My wife had the Crabcake Salad and she said that, even though it was a bit spicy, she did enjoy it. She gave me a bite and I thought it was very good too - and I don't normally eat crab! It was hard for me to decide what to get, but I ended up choosing the "Triple Bypass" - 3 kinds of Pork. Their blending of pork loin, bacon and ham in one sandwich was a very tasty combination. If we had had more time, I would have liked to go back for the Double Bacon Cheeseburger (my second choice). Perhaps you'll have more time, but don't miss out on a great meal the next time your in downtown Natchez.
