Planet Thailand has been my go to restaurant in Natchez for just about as long as I've been able to drive. Their sushi is, as far as I know, the best in Natchez. I'd recommend a roll, but every one that I've had has been awesome. I've likewise never been disappointed in a dish. Years ago I had the best General Tso's chicken I've ever had the pleasure of eating here, and I'm sad to see that it's no longer on the menu. The only reason that this isn't a glowing five star review is that the service can be a little lackluster. Make sure you sip your drink slowly to ensure that you don't run out.

I have eaten Thai food all over the US. I lived in CA for several years and has some of the best. I wouldn't trust most of the reviews listed here because Thai food is almost unheard of in Mississippi. My wife got Vietnamese pho, I got spicy basil noodles with shrimp. Both dishes were extremely authentic! Excellent flavor and ingredients. Very nice atmosphere. The restaurant itself is located in an old historic building. I highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys Thai food!

For starters we a spicy chicken soup and it had big chunks of veggies and a good amount of chicken. For an entree, I had the spicy crab and shrimp sushi with crunchy top and it was probably the most meat in a sushi roll that I have ever encountered. It was very filling. The crunch was just ok, it tasted like crushed ritz crackers. My companion was very satisfied with their meal.

The food is decent... The sushi is good and fresh. The ambiance is OK. We had a great waiter and he was very attentive and helpful! The only thing I wasn't too keen on was the fact that imitation crab was added to dishes that said they had crab in them. The descriptions fail to mention that there will be fake crab supplementing or replacing the real crab in your dish.

I came to this place during the day before Christmas which I thought the place would be closed. To my surprise the place was open but there wasn't a lot of patrons there. I go in and sit down at the bar and was told I could only order of the lunch menu because they wouldn't be making sushi. The food I bought was decent but I really wanted to see the difference in how they made their sushi.

Everything we tried was good. I wouldn't say the best I ever had but good. I enjoyed the appetizer sampler the most. Basil Chicken Noodle was good, could have used a little more flavor. Same for the Cherry Blossom sushi roll. The wait staff was attentive and polite. I'd come again if I happened to be in the area. Spruce up the flavor and this would be amazing!

Large variety of sushi & it's good. The basil chicken noodles are delish and very spicy. Service sucks, food usually takes a while & is a little bit pricey. Calling in your order for pick up is usually your best bet. Their menu is in the Natchez phone book. Dining area decor is super cheesy & could use an update.

Better service this time! Basil rice was good; different but good. Everything we had was good.

I haven't been here in a while, I try to give most places a second chance but this is the worst sushi I've ever had! Was a total let down, the young waitress at the time had no social skills whatsoever, just a bad overall experience :/

I love this place... Great food, fusion Asian/Thai food in the heart of the South! You can try the Thai or the Sushi! The staff and owners area really nice, sweet and thoughtful too. Check it out if you're ever out there. I can't believe I found this place in the Mississippi!

The folks from CA and WA had a different experience than we did. We arrived for lunch at 1 pm looking forward to the buffet which was to end at 2 pm. The staff was happy to seat us and sell us the buffet but the trays were mostly empty or old/cold. We asked that the food be replaced and some trays were refilled. The service was non-existent. I would not eat here again.

I am giving this place one star because it is called Planet Thailand, and the Thai food is terrible. Been here twice and both times it was unedible. The sushi on the other hand was decent enough to get again, I would give it a 3 out of 5.

116 N. Commerce St is the physical address. It is downtown Natchez. Food was good. I had the Pad Thai with tofu. Tofu wasn't that great, but the sauce and noodles were good. It wasn't the greatest thai food I ever had, but it wasn't the worst either. Middle of the road.
