Great atmosphere. Great service. Great food. The thing that sticks out the most is how this place is very family friendly. They even brought the kid's food out first! The gumbo had a strong roux and was very tasty! We will be back.

First and foremost, the service here is INCREDIBLY slow! Not only did we have to wait 30 mins before we got our appetizer, and we ordered our entrees at the same time. The 2 crabcakes that came were overly citrus flavored and had very little flavor other than that. The sauce was ok. The salad came about 10 minutes later and there is very little room to mess that up, so it was ok. We ordered the special, blackened red snapper with a loaded baked potato for the side. This took another 10-15 mins to receive. The "loaded baked potato, was hardly loaded. Bacon and what tasted like cheese food product does not qualify as loaded. It tasted like it came from Wendy's. The red snapper was bland, dry and otherwise just blah. The bill came to $76 with no alcoholic beverages for 2. We were charged for our salads, which should come with your meal and the crabcakes our unattentive server suggested, cost more than the entree. This place is overrated. I will not be returning for slow to arrive, overpriced, bland food. I am willing to pay for good food. Here, I felt did not deserve the time and money that was spent trying to get a decent meal.

Atmosphere has a New Orleans feel. The food was great, but service was a little slow.

This place has so much potential, but suffers from an abundance of ignorance (or perhaps proprietor absence). First, the menu had a plethora of delicious sounding options, but it was obvious the staff didn't know a durn thing about what they were serving...bless their hearts. My husband ordered steak despite the fact that there was no price on the menu as it only said "Market Price". I guess that means they change it with weather. Too bad his serrated knife was too dull to cut it. I ordered off the mediteranean menu only to find that greek salad meant naked. When I asked for greek salad dressing I was given a cup of olive oil. My bloody mary might have had a hint of alcohol in it, but I didn't notice. Nothing about it was terrible, but noting was worth the DISCOUNTED $90 price either. Bring your piggy bank folks and plan to soak up the atmosphere.

I had the grilled tilapia with a side salad and baked potato. I loved that the side salad came on a plate big enough to move it around with it landing on the table. That is a pet peeve of mine! The tilapia was grilled perfectly and melted in my mouth. The baked potato I think was cooked a tad too long because it was a little dried out. My husband had the red fish and loaded baked potato and he said it was good. The waiter seemed either very unsure of himself or just lacked personality to speak to customers. I believe the cut out neon signs on the doors cheapens the place. Just my opinion. Also, I think it has an amazing outdoor courtyard for a nice quiet romantic evening. I think they could have a great night life with live music on the courtyard every now and again! Overall a place we would return to

I've eaten a Breaud's a few times and, as a local I want this restaurant to succeed. I truly do. However, my experience has been a mixed bag of good food/good service at times and, at others, not so much. The first time I dined there, I was seated in the main dining room. There was a musty odor that pervaded the room, something that Odorban or similar product could have taken care of. Thankfully, that did seem to pass. Mostly, however, I've eaten in the courtyard, which is very nice. While well-intentioned and friendly, the staff could use some training. If Breaud's positions itself as fine dining, it could take a cue from Desi Vegas in New Orleans. What was most troublesome, and what has kept me from returning, was a 6 oz filet that a member of my dining party had, which was listed on the menu as "Market Price." Topped with lump crab meat, the price for the steak alone was $58. While I admit the patron should have asked the price (caveat emptor), I don't think I've ever seen a filet that expensive, even at fine steakhouses. That would have been acceptable, however, had the service been on par with the price. I mean, if you're going to charge that kind of price, you've got to match it with stellar service. So, again, I want the restaurant to do well. But, I've had better.

LOVE this place!! I've never had a meal here that I didn't like! The courtyard is amazing and we enjoy it with and without our kids! Great place no matter if it's family dining or a getaway date night :)

greeted by the friendly Beverly (who was conversational thru my time there, nice and pleasant person). sat at bar (quite small)...beer selection limited ...Bud (everything), Guiness, Blue Moon, Corona..only BL on tap. had cup of seafood gumbo, very good & grilled catfish w/cole slaw, steamed vegetables w/ a caper/lemon dip (yum!). all good. service good, not pushy, but attentive. would go back. happy trails

I had the 8oz petite fillet which was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Nice acoustic live music, and art on the walls.

Great food, best ribs ever, fantastic service at a very reasonable price. $3 margaritas were awesome. Another gem in Natchez.

Nice place, I went late in the evening so it wasn't busy. I was seated right away and Allison was a wonderful waitress. I had a couple of unique requests due to my diet and she completely accommodated me with no fuss at all. I tried the Red Fish which she recommended and it was grilled and seasoned to perfection. If I lived in Natchez Breaud's would be a regular for me! The sides and the salad were also wonderful and generous.

I'd give this restaurant four stars if it wasn't for the horrible service. But wait! Before I even review Breaud's, let me tell you that they don't even know where they are located. In all the brochures of Natchez, and even on their OWN website, they say they are at 511 Main. Wrong! They are at 121 Commerce! And when I called to tell them I couldn't find them on Main, they treated me like a dolt! The restaurant is attractive enough, and we ate out in their lovely courtyard. Our waiter seated us and said he'd be right back to clean our table and bring us menus. Then he promptly ignored us until my husband motioned to him from across the room. The waiter came over, and we asked for menus and put in our drink order (iced tea and water). After a long wait, he brought the tea, no water or menus. We asked for menus again. He brought them and told us he'd be back shortly for our order. About 10-15 minutes later, my husband went inside, found the waiter and gave him our order. We waited forever for our first course, and when it arrived, we had to ask for our napkins and silverware. While we were at it, we asked again for water. The silverware came relatively quickly followed after a bit by the water. Our soup, the shrimp, crawfish and corn chowder was hot and delicious. And almost as soon as we finished it, our main meal arrived. It was very good and hot as well. But our waiter forgot the coleslaw, and since he never checked on us, my husband had to go into the restaurant again to get it. Clearly the problem was NOT with the kitchen but solely with our waiter.

This was the best steak I've had east of the Mississippi River!! actually it might be my only steak east of the Mississippi River. Nonetheless it was a great steak. It's always nice when it's cooked just the way you order. Also I had the lobster tail. I'm not a huge lobster fan but this one was seasoned and not bad at all. We also ate the fried mushrooms for and appetizer. All the food was great and the service was also really great.

Tonight was easily the best meal we've had here. Redfish with jumbo crab meat and charbroiled fresh huge oysters. Good Blue Moon beer and Beverly was perfect waitstaff.

Loved the quaint entrance area with outside tables and colorful potted flowers. Ordered crawfish corn chowder and it was excellent. I had the 8oz filet medium rare with 10oz lobster tail. My guest had the same filet with grilled mushrooms and onions. Both of our steaks were cooked perfectly! Nice tasty crust with grill marks on top and bottom. The lobster was also cooked perfectly and served with drawn butter. Chose baked potato and coleslaw for sides. Coleslaw was probably the best I've ever had. Fresh thick cuts of cabbage and a delicious cole sale dressing. A wonderful dining experience if not a tad bit expensive. Steaks and lobster were all $36 each. The food was so good it felt worth the price tag.

This is a truly fine restaurant. As a traveler I was lucky to find it the first night I was in Natchez and smart to go the second. Must haves are the chargrilled oysters and the ribs. The only thing better than the food is the staff.
