We were nervous about eating here after reading the previous reviews. We went anyway and were pleasantly surprised. I ordered the chicken salad and enjoyed the various flavors. The mixed greens were fresh and the honey mustard complimented well. Keysha who was working the bar was our server and made sure our beverage glasses were full and that our food was hot when served. We had a peanut allergy in our group and the staff was great in making sure there was no cross contamination. I enjoyed my lunch and would dine here again.

I'm not going here again unless someone drags me. Everything tastes the same. That is saying a lot when you are talking about pot pie, rolls, butter, and a drink. How do they do that? Why do they do that? OK the salad was good. I will not be back.

It's a great place been there almost a 100 times. They have the best rolls in town. I can't see why many people frown on it. I live in meridian so I frequently go. It's a great place to eat with the family or by yourself. I have seen it packed before but not usually. I recamend a steak. I don't eat salad and never recognize any staff either

First off there is nothing to do in this town but eat serious luckily I work out a lot. So with that said this place is really good its like regular steak house. The food is sub par but you go there to drink they have a wide selection of alcoholic beverages and the bartender actually knows how to make drinks if you ask her for one. Unlike most places in Mississippi where you ask the the bartender can I get a martini and they just kinda stare at you for a bit. So that's pretty much it not anything big. cool.

I've always liked O'Charley's on the few occasions I've had to visit one, but this one was a big disappointment. When we were seated, we were told that the bread wasn't ready yet (we finally got it when we asked for it near the end of our meal). The service was slow and inaccurate. I had ordered a salad with iceberg lettuce, but it came with mostly romaine, and so late that I had barely started on it when the entree was delivered. I didn't expect my chicken fried steak to compete with any in Texas, but it was worse than expected, and my wife's catfish was undercooked. Despite the gravy being watery, I asked for more because the "steak" was so dry. The waitress returned with brown gravy instead of "sausage gravy," but that turned out to be a good thing; since it was much thicker and more flavorful than the other. I will not return to this location.

Restaurant was nice, our server was great, and the food was good. They were really busy, but we did not have to wait long for a table or our food. I had the french dip sandwhich, husband had the better cheddar burger, kids had the kids steak meals. Everything was hot and just the way we ordered it. They even took the 20% off coupon that I had with no problem. Was a great experience and very affordable for our family of 7.

We came as a party of 16 and got to our table fairly quickly. Me and my wife love coming here but after this experience we may never again. We ordered our appetizers and they came out only about after 10-15 min later. We then waited for another 45-60 min for our entrees. The server was amazing and I'm certain it wasn't her fault. The people around us that had sat down way after we got there was getting there food and had left before we got ours. Very poor service in the kitchen.

Service was terrible. Took forever to even get a server to acknowledge we were here. Salad came with a tomato that actually had green mold on it. Bread plates were dirty - made us wonder about general cleanliness. DONT EAT HERE !

Because of a poorly-timed drive from Atlanta to New Orleans via Birmingham, we found ourselves wanting food near the Alabama/Mississippi border at around 9PM on a weekday. Meridian, here we come. We checked on our phones for something local, but everything was closed, so we were relegated to a small selection of still-open chain restaurants by the highway exit. We choose O Charley's, and so began a slow-moving disaster. Everything was up to expectations for a forced chain-restaurant dinner. OK service, edible food that was a bit too salty. Nothing out of the ordinary. Flash forward to around 1AM. Four of us are sleeping in our hotel. I hear one of my friends go in to the bathroom and vomit. He says there's nothing we can do to help, so I go back to sleep. I wake up about an hour later, and, uh-oh... I don't feel so well. I proceed to vomit. Long story short, two of us were out of commission for about 36 hours with stuff trying to escape us from both ends. A little bit of amateur epidemiology led us to the O'Charley's broccoli/rice side. It was the only thing that both of us ate and only we ate. Our best guess, based on symptoms and timing, is bacillus cereus. Nasty little bug.

I was at this o Charley's 3 weeks ago and from the lack of service and professionalism I swore I would never come back but since my hotel is across the street I decided to give them a second chance. I sat at the bat again and tried to order a drink but the bar tender was more interested in hooping up with the thugs at the other end of the bar from waiting on me. It wasn't just me the 2 guys setting 2 chairs down said they have had the same issue. When Kesha finally waited on me I felt like an inconvenience that I had taken her away from her potential hook up. After a drink order and 5 minutes later I had to ask her if I could place an order again at the other end of the bar entertaining the same rough group of guys who are trying to pick up on her. I placed an order and the whole time her back was to me as she placed the order into the computer screen never making any effort to recognize me as a customer. I waited for over 30 minutes for my appetizer as the other customizes grew impatient. Again she was more interested in the guys she was flirting with and never checked on the patrons. If you want a lack of service, very little customer service, or a sense of urgency then o Charley's in meridian is the place to be. I hope your experience was better then mine.

We came here on a Sunday afternoon about 2 pm. I had been in the mood for chicken strips. We quit coming here because the service got sooo bad. Seemed like every time we came in we did not recognize any of the staff. An not to mention the managers. So today we sat in the bar area so my husband could watch the race. They were about 1/3 full an not many in the bar. The waiter came right over for our drinks an even changed the tv channel on the race. Service was way better than it has been. Only 3 stars because the chicken was too salty to my taste. But I will be back sooner than I was the last time that is until the service gets bad again.

Steak was raw and inedible. Chips were greasy. Manager was made aware of the steak and chose to ignore it. Won't be back. Suggest that you passion this one too!

Meridian is an abysmal place to find any food other than chain restaurants. I had to settle for O'Charley's after a days work. The food was bad, but that was to be expected...same as any other O'Charley's. That said, the service we experienced here was on par with the worst I have ever encountered. As an example, one in our party asked what the soup was today to which the server responded, "we have potato soup...and one other, but I forgot to look today." our salads were not brought until after our food, we also had to request them. Our drinks took forever, as did the rolls. We actually sat and watched two other tables that came in after us get both drinks and rolls before we did. There was only a total of about 8 tables occupied while we were there, yet our server still used the excuse of being swamped as to make up for her lack of service. Don't go here.

Went to O'Charley's all dressed up for St. Patty's day. It was classic! We enjoyed it. We didn't wait long and the food was alright. Nothing special. They have a full bar and a great happy hour. Like a combination of a nice restaurant and a pub feel to it. Not a lot to do for an Irish Gal so it satisfied the St. Patty's day tradition.

Love Cailfornia Chicken Salads.....except here. They use bagged lettuce. Some of it looks more like week old spinach. Go somewhere else..
