La Brioche has the best coffee in Jackson I have found so far, also their espresso is excellent! There may not be a lot of seating inside the actual cafe, but there are plenty of tables and chairs right outside the cafe in the main building. Not only does the atmosphere have a creative, professional, yet warm air to it, the artistry and quality of the food is some of the best I've ever had. It reminds me of the pastry shops I visited when I was visiting Paris, France! Definitely check this place out if you get the chance.

I love stopping by this beautiful French bakery any chance I get! I've tried everything from the coffee, gelato, macarons, and various other pastries, and they were all absolutely delicious. They also have sandwiches and bake custom cakes for any event. Not only is the food amazing, but the bakery itself is beautiful. It's a great spot to sit with friends, read a book, or get some work done. The owner and one of the pastry chefs is super nice and very knowledgeable about her craft. Overall La Brioche is great!

I was so excited when I heard about the opening of an authentic French pastry shop in downtown Jackson! It truly is authentic. The desserts are beautiful and it's an experience just to go in and look at them and talk to the chef. They are higher priced than the typical piece of cake or cupcake, but I didn't think it was bad at all! The desserts are delicious and well worth the price. The macaroons are amazing!! I was hesitant about them at first, but I ended up eating just little bites every day to make them last, they were so good!! I had the vanilla, chocolate, raspberry (my fave) and the Earl Grey. I can't wait to go back and try more flavors!

Addicted to this place. I can't get enough. I'd visit every day if I could. The pastries are so phenomenal. My Saturday is not complete without a visit to La Brioche. The brioche filled with pastry cream might be my favorite thing on the menu. The hardest part is not ordering one of everything in the case.

It is hard to decide on a rating here. On the one hand, their confections are really amazing. I was first hooked by their macaroons and stayed for just about everything else. Their gelato is much-needed in Jackson but isn't quite perfect. The prices are high. Combine five star confections, pastries and atmosphere with three star prices and some borderline three or four star gelato, you've got a four star spot. Get your pastry and coffee in the morning or stop by for a tasty sandwich for lunch. There will always be treat for you here!

I recently went to a baby shower where they have tons of macaroons from La Brioche (a craving of the mom-to-be). They were divine - the chocolate ones were my favorite. Time to go by and try their other sweet treats!

This little French style bakery in the heart of Fondren is certainly a treat. (Sorry, I couldn't help myself!) Their strength, obviously, lies in their perfectly crafted and gorgeously presented desserts. From macarons to dulce de leche, they've got any sweet you might be craving. Everything is excellently made, perfectly prepared to melt in your mouth. There's none of that artificial fondant icing BS going on here. Every flavor is perfectly executed. They've also got some deeeeelicious croissants and other bread products, and occasionally some ready-to-go sandwiches and things as well. There's even gelato, and it's great! Their coffee is by far some of the best in Jackson. Go for a cafe au lait or an espresso for a delightful caffeine fix. There isn't a lot of seating inside the bakery, but plenty of tables and chairs to chill at inside the Fondren building. If you're grabbing lunch in Downtown Fondren, definitely plan to stop by La Brioche afterwards for something sweet to make your day!

I've been frequenting La Brioche since it opened, and it never fails to disappoint! First, the location is amazing. Being in Fondren makes it the perfect for a treat after lunch/dinner, or a morning coffee date. I'm big on ambiance, and they've done such a nice job creating a clean, relaxing, and chic environment. I'd say it's comparable to some places I've been to in NYC and Las Vegas. The coffee here is also fantastic! I recommend the cafe au lait. They usually include a small, buttery sugar cookie to compliment your drink. One of the main reasons I come here is for the macarons (NOT macaroons!) It's one of the only places to get them in Jackson, and they're quite good. The flavors seem to rotate often, but you can't go wrong with any of them. The gelato, croissants, pastries, and cakes are also tasty. Yes, the desserts are small, but it's all about quality over quantity! Don't be scared to try their quiches and sandwiches, either. Seriously, there's so many amazing things at La Brioche that it's difficult to choose!

This is fantastic.! I'm sitting here doing a magic trick with my dessert and a photographer walks in to do a photo shoot for a MS Magazine that allowed me to help.! How cool.! The staff is extremely awesome.! I look forward to many lunchtime treats from here and for my friends to enjoy.! The cheesecake I had is delicious. The richness of the crust brings me to a lost for words. It's not your normal graham cracker crust. It's flavorful and melts in your mouth every bite. South America has come to MS in a very sweet way! I also love how intimate and light it is in the dining area. The tables are chocolate (So appropriate) with white (cream) color seats and cushions. Comfy.! With a rich Orange (zesty) trim around the entrance. I'm a designer by nature so I can see how all of the elements make this a special place.. For all to surrender to the universe and live in present space and time.

La Brioche is probably one of my favorite places. The variety that is offered is awesome and the effort on presentation is even better. I was floored the first time I walked in here and I get giddy every time I visit. You will be transported to a patisserie in France and will forget about where you are.

Kind of let down with confections. The Opera cake was supposed to be like Tiramisu, it bore no resemblance to Tiramisu. When I tried to take a piece with the fork, my husband had to told it down, so it would cut. The taste was not special or anything I would get again. All their treats looked delicious, will try again. Macaroon good, latte good, baguette good. Nice modern, euro feel with Tango music playing. Throw gelato in and you have French, Italian and Argentine influence! Employees very nice, when giving description of items, sounds a little rehearsed, which is off putting.

I'm relocating to the Jackson area from Southern California and was so excited to find this place on Yelp. It did not disappoint. I had the pain au chocolat and a latte. Everything was amazing. My complements to their pastry chef.

The names of the desserts are so adorable. Two of the cutest desserts are named Anna and Natalie...named after me and my twin. We stopped here after grabbing a quick lunch. while driving across the country. I ordered the Natalie, an Alfajor Original, and a vanilla macaroon. The Natalie was delicious. The perfect amount of raspberry for the vanilla cake. I didn't care for the Alfajor. I didn't know what it was when I ordered it. I just liked the name. My sister ordered a coffee, earl grey, and lemon macaroon. She said they were delicious. The service was excellent. I always ask a million questions about dessert and the girl behind the counter described them all to me...more than once. We ordered coffee and they were out of both kinds. The girl apologized and asked us which one we wanted and then brought the coffee pot to us. If I ever pass through here again, I'm sure I will try the Anna.

Charming little sweets shop in the heart of the Fondren area! I stopped in here for a quick snack on my way out of Jackson after a business trip. I was totally mesmerized by the piles and stacks of flaky, buttery pastries and rows of brightly colored macarons. I managed to get out with only a handful of macarons and pain au chocolat--utterly delicious. Very pleasant girl working the register, who wished me safe travels back to Nashville. Loved this experience and highly recommend!

It doesn't get much better than this Jackson! I totally agree with Jen L from NYC. I have lived all over the states and have traveled extensively throughout Europe.... La Brioche is heaven sent! No exaggeration. If you want the best quality your money can buy and travel to Europe via your palate, you have found the right spot! Their macaroons are to die for--their latest flavor Earl Grey--OMG! Their croissants are perfectly buttery and crisp. Right up there with Paris and Venice! You will thank me for this recommendation when you finally experience the delicate and delicious pastries they offer. Well done La Brioche!!! You are under appreciated in Fondren. You should have lines out the door every day! May the people of Mississippi appreciate what a gem they've try got right before their eyes.

...and then on the most important day in Jackson, MS, La Brioche was created. I lived in NYC for over a decade. Dining in NYC trains you palate. As a result, your palate desires only the best. It is a curse. La Brioche has outdone themselves. For obvious reasons, this poses a problem. Furthermore, I'm fairly allergic to sweets and wheat. But, I choose my sweets wisely. After traveling around Europe this summer, I had the highest standards of pain au chocolates, creme puffs and gelato. I can't say I've had their gelato (except a tiny bite unwillingly given to me by my 4-year-old son). It's so hard to make a good chocolate croissant. Many places try; most fail. The ones at La Brioche are flaky, light, airy, not too sweet, and it literally should melt in your mouth. Most croissants you taste are bulky, even a bit on the tough side so you are required to chew them. You might as well eat bread with a piece of Hershey's on top at that point. A croissant (chocolate, plain, etc.) requires a skilled pastry chef. La Brioche has an amazing pastry chef. Then, there's these creme puffs. I think it's safe to say that every creme puff fan out there has tried that Costco bin of creme puffs. While they are sweet, tasty and creamy, they are not the real deal. They are just a burst of sugar in your mouth, in cream form (as is the situation with most creme puff attempts). But, the creme puffs at La Brioche come from heaven--I am certain of this. Again, they are not too sweet. They are perfectly hollow until there's a burst of flavored cream (lemon, vanilla, pistachio, etc). Macaroons/Macarons. I can say that I had never had a macaroon/macaron until one was placed on the side of my cappuccino. I almost did not even try it, but I thought it was time to try it and most likely hate what I perceived to be another all sugar in a beautiful color form trend (like the cupcake)! They are sweet; they are packed with flavor. What I like about them is they really do the trick. You only need one (although you'll want more). So many flavors to choose from...pumpkin spice is my favorite. Not to mention this is a classy little joint. In a world where service is less-than-excellent, La Brioche restores your faith in humanity--on many levels. This is a little NYC secret--don't go crazy. Come to La Brioche for the quality. It's not fair to yourself to cut them out completely so make sure you're choosing your sweets wisely.

Looking for a great dessert? Look no further. Jackson newest pastry shop is now open in the Fondren Corner Building. The Manager and staff are very accomidating and friendly, the food incredible. If you are looking for something special make sure to stop by. In addition to fantastic desserts, you will find great sandwiches and breakfast pastries.

A little gem in a place like Jackson. The macarons were fantastic and well-priced. Hard to find high-quality pastries in the area, but La Brioche definitely fits the bill!

Great little French style bakery in the heart of Fondren. The macarons are fabulous - especially lemon and chocolate. We also tried one of the daily special desserts and they were also excellent. One was a chocolate/almond thing that was really, really good. Their food is clearly freshly made and top ingredients are used. It's got a really cool vibe and small menu that changes frequently as they bring out new options. Love the locally owned part. We love Campbell's across the street but each of these has their own flair. I'm just glad they are not TOO close to where I live as it'd be way too tempting.
