This place was super cute, the service was great, and the food was awesome. If you want a quaint and tranquil place to have a nice lunch or dinner this is it. I had their blue daze burger and a salad. Both of these were very good. The burger was juicy and the hawian roll added a hint of sweet which I thought was amazing. My mother had the stuffed chicken breast. She said it was very good. It is a little out of the way for us (25 minutes). However, we will be back again.

Amazing food! We just ate the Valentine's day special..filet and prime rib...best ever! The lobster mac n cheese was killer! New local favorite !

I don't like giving minimal stars or giving bad ratings, especially to small local businesses, but my husband and I decided to give this place a whirl today for lunch. I only give it 1 star because our server was very kind and attentive to our table. I ordered the blue daze burger. The presentation when it arrived to our table was perfect, but as I was cutting into it, I noticed a strange texture to the meat and first bite I found out why. It tasted like meat loaf. Not pleasant at all. So unless you are a big fan of meat loaf. Do yourself a favor and stay away from the burger!

We're big fans of Blue Daze. The food is always delicious, and the staff is always friendly. So friendly, in fact, that we have become great friends with the owners (that we originally met at the restaurant.) It is a small restaurant, with a small kitchen, so when they're busy it sometimes takes a little while for the food to come out. It's not intended to be fast food though, so we sit back and enjoy each others company. Try the mojo shrimp, the ribeye, or the filet. They're all delicious!

I like to eat local places and I've driven past here a number of times so today we decided to give it a try. I went with the buffalo chicken wrap with the pan seared chicken. The presentation was good on the plate so I was excited. The chicken was moist and I think the wrap on it's own would have been good, however there was something unpleasant I didn't care for that I could not pin point exactly. It was the buffalo sauce maybe, I couldn't tell if it maybe it had curry or something strange with it. Whatever it was too over bearing for me. I do enjoy hot and spicy wing sauces in general and that's what caught me off guard. It was almost not edible. The saving grace was the friendly service. As stated before it was not very busy when we got here and it did take a little while to get our food. However, I would maybe be willing to still give this place another try in the future.

Great food and friendly people. They also have a wonderful brunch on Sundays!

There Friday evening, arriving approximately at 7:30. There was a good crowd, but not full. Had friends from GA with me. Seated quickly, and ordered. Shrimp and grits were good, but keep in mind most items here are really over seasoned and spiced. There was a mistake on the other entree, and 20 minutes later, after friend had finished, it arrived. But, no bread! How can you serve shrimp and grits without bread? Offered a hamburger bun which he took. Excuse was was we only get 3 or 4 loaves a day and when its gone its gone! This is the 2nd straight visit where this was an issue. On the plus side the salmon is always great, and part of the check was adjusted. Taking it a bit easier on some of the seasonings so the waitresses dont have to go down the menu looking for the unspiciest options for newcomers would be a big help here. I like more spice than most, but its hard to bring guests whose pallets I don't know. Also, you should always have bread!

Didn't have a good experience here. The place is pretty cluttered and tacky inside. They were out of what we really wanted. Took almost an hour to get our food. The waitress commented after about an 45 minutes," Well I hope it's worth the wait". Nope. Mine was a really average at best eggs Benedict on hamburger buns with a tiny side of potatoes, same with the omelet. Way overpriced also. Won't be back but I've had worse.

Excellent service with Kari! Great menu choices and specials. The food was excellent and generous portions too.

Tasty Sunday brunch made this a pleasant break on a road trip. The florentine omelette was very tasty, but the shrimp and grits was my favorite. I would definitely stop the next time.

A friend recently recommended this cute little bistro. I'll admit I was a little skeptical about driving down from Collierville, but I do get tired of some of the restaurants in my own neighborhood. (We've got more than our fair share of chain restaurants.) Service was spot on from the time we arrived until we walked out the door- couldn't ask for better. Our group of six never wanted for anything and weren't pestered to death either- as a former server, bartender and restaurant manager this means the world to me. My friend had a salmon special and raved about it. I thought for a minute that she was going to lick the plate after scraping it clean to get the last of the couscous. The crab cake sandwich that I had was one of the best that I've ever had. I'm submitting a picture, but it doesn't do it justice. Well worth the drive.

Blue Daze is a superbly quaint little place in Hernando, conveniently located off I-55. From the fresh bread and dipping oil brought to the table, the sweet tea (I'm a stickler for good sweet tea...we are in the South, so restaurants who can't make it disappoint me!), the soup of the day (I had the Maple Bacon Potato and Brad had the Buffalo Chicken and Rice), to the entree (I had tonight's special, Mussels and Italian Sausage over Linguini in a Garlic Cream sauce; my husband had the Crab Cake Sandwich...crab cakes were enormous!), we were thoroughly impressed. The entrees were a little slow to come out, slower than we are used to, but there's one chef and he makes everything to order, and the meal was definitely worth the wait. Despite the longer wait time on the entrees, service was very friendly and informative. Plus, it doesn't hurt the whole place is my favorite color, so the decor and atmosphere adds an especially cool touch for me! I can't wait to return and try some of their menu items.

Delicious! Portions are large. My husband loved the shrimp and grits, they were spicy for mild palette. I loved my salmon. The service was great.

Okay food. Crappy service. Waited for an hour for my food. Also, the price does not match the food you are given (way overpriced). I will not be returning.

We have eaten here for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Never disappointed. Everything is fresh, great soups! I'm a regular for Sunday brunch. The best omelette I have ever eaten and the French Toast Cassarole doesn't need syrup.

Lovely! Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Has free wifi. I was pleasantly surprised by the complexity of the tomato sauce in the stuffed chicken dish.

Food was good. Wine was $7.50 a glass. Less than $10.00 a bottle at liquor store. Won't order any more wine at this place. Shame they try to take advantage of customers.
