A co-worker and I had lunch at Kobe today. We opted for hibachi and it was great! I had the steak and shrimp and everything was cooked perfectly! The miso soup tasted awesome and it was paired with a garden salad! The chef was a food artist creating a beautiful meal for us!

Not sure if those photos are true or not, but I have been to this place many times before and the food is always awesome. Until.... TODAY!!! I'm not sure cause they have new workers or what... But it wasn't good! Prior until today, food was always great. Not sure what happen. I hope they are able to get back to how it was before.

Not sure where to start on this review, so I'll keep it simple. Food was ok, but service was beyond awful. Six of us sat at a table. One hibachi table was full but otherwise the restaurant was empty. We ordered sushi, which came out first and was tasty. We asked for no veggies, but got veggies anyway. We had to go ask the manager/owner at the front for a refill. Our salads never came and when we asked our waiter why, he said he got busy and forgot. He also said he could not comp our bill anything for that. Bottom line, avoid this place.

Overpriced a la carte and tiny amount of worst sushi ever had. Try a different Japanese restaurant nearby. It'll be better than this.

Had sushi for lunch with a friend. Service was so good went back that night with the family for the habachi side. A little on the small side inside, but the food is excellent. Our chef had a little bit of an attitude (think he was trying to be funny, unfortunatly bad joke + grumpy hungry soilder = toxic mix) Will go back. Hopefully the next time the chef will read his customers better...

A co-worker and I came in for a hibachi lunch. The interior looks updated and modern and the staff was very friendly. The chef was very entertaining with his array of tricks and humor. The food was amazing! We decided to come back again for lunch later that week. We had sushi, and it was probably some of the best sushi we have ever had. The service was delightful, and the sushi was fresh! Also, the presentation of the sushi was beautiful. It came out on the bridge type of plate. A definite wow factor. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great experience with amazing food!

Nothing about the name or signage outside indicate that this is a hybrid restaurant, but there are a few non-Japanese options on the menu and our entrees were served with fried rice. Perhaps they're having a bum night, but the service was apathetic and our order was not only taken wrong but delivered to the wrong table, twice. Though the sushi was well prepared, the ingredients were lackluster. I've never had eel sushi look so good and taste so bad. The crab rolls my friend got tasted a lot like it was prepared with imitation meat. The rice also didn't taste freshly cooked. The parts of the meal that tasted fine lacked presentation. She ordered chicken teriyaki and none of the pieces had been cut completely apart from one another. I assume these problems were due to this being a new place with a new staff. They'll eventually get their rhythm worked out and provide great experiences to their guests. I don't think my friend and I will ever go back, but we hope other people have good experiences, there.
