This was my first experience eating Indian good ever and it was a pleasant surprise. I got the Tikka Masala with garlic naan, and it exceeded my expectations. As far as service goes, our server was very helpful with suggestions and was very attentive.

While the service was excellent, the food was just mediocre. I would probably try somewhere else before coming back here.

This is a gem in Hattiesburg! The food is delicious. We have eaten Indian food in several places we've lived, and this is some of the best. The service and staff are fantastic!

This place is amazing! The food is delicious and the service is great. I went with a friend, and neither of us are particularly Indian food-savvy. Luckily, our waiter was very helpful. He took time to explain quite a bit about the menu to us and help us pick something we would like. He was very right. Again, the food is stellar. Plus you get a lot of it! The only downside I can think of is that you might get a little sad when you are too full to eat any more. By the way, do yourself a favor and save some room for some of the dessert. It's worth it. On the whole: Super duper A+ #1 Will eat again.

Indian Delight sets the standard for customer service, the owner is always at are table taking care of us, showing us how the food is meant to be served and eaten. He even took the time to explain how to cook their Butter Chicken dish. I can't recommend this restaraunt enough

Stopped in for a quick Monday lunch. We tried the buffet. Solid Indian food. Samosas were particularly good. Food not too salty like you find a lot of the time. Would try again.

What a pleasant surprise! Until you visit Indian Delight, you cannot fathom how absolutely wonderful the food is (in fact, you may even achieve enlightenment and reach nirvana at this place). I highly recommend trying to different flavored breads, the fish, and the desserts. In addition, the manager checked on us frequently and was very courteous. With that in mind; however, if you go in the evening, be prepared to stay a while. Apparently, it takes a while for the food to be prepared and the waiters are few and far between. Overall, this is a great place to eat. You won't be disappointed.

I've been 3 times so far, and it's been incredible. I asked an employee how the place was doing, and he feels like they need more exposure. Go check it out. You won't be disappointed.

I'm from NY and am a self-proclaimed Indian food snob, and I completely endorse Indian Delight. The lunch buffet -- yum -fantastic -- the saag paneer, chana masala, tandoori chicken -- everything is delicious here. In addition to having amazing food, the staff are all SO nice and attentive. With the lunch buffet, naan is brought around to the table for you -- they basically have one guy who is just in charge of ensuring everything is adequately supplied with naan. It's my dream come true!

We had a wonderful experience last night! Our server was friendly, knew the menu well, and offered suggestions, which we took and were very pleased! We had an appetizer with garbanzo beans that was spicy and delicious! The bread was also amazing! I had the vindaloo with chicken, it was super delicious! I love spicy food and I'm so glad to have an Indian restaurant to add to the mix! I would highly recommend this to my friends and family!

I won't claim to be an expert on Indian food, but I did spend a few months working in Hyderabad and Indian Delight compares favorably with many Indian restaurants within the country. My date ordered lamb biriyani, which was excellent, full of juicy raisins and nuts, and came with raita free of charge. I got paneer tikka masala-- paneer is my favorite indian dish, and the one about which I'm most critical-- and they exceeded my expectations. Fresh and creamy, and the curry was spicy and flavorful. The owner even gave us kheer for dessert on the house! We discovered that he had charged us for garlic naan when we asked for regular, so he have us some gulab jamun to go. The service was terrible, our waters were refilled maybe twice, but they didn't have nearly enough staff to cover it-- the slow service clearly wasn't the waitress's fault. The food was delicious, and I'm so glad to have a good Asian restaurant closer than Jutamas!

I went here with some friends on the second night the restaurant was open for dinner, and it was so great! The food was delicious and the service was awesome! None of us had a lot of experience with Indian food so we were pretty lost at first, but all the staff were so personable and helpful. They answered all of our many questions and helped us have a really great experience and a fun night! They were also very knowledgable so we were able to actually learn about the food and culture as well as eat delicious food. I'd recommend the restaurant to anyone and we'll definitely be going back! A++ experience!

This place is a rare gem in the Hattiesburg area. Authentic and wonderfully prepared ethnic cuisine that rarely graces the pine belt area. The staff that wait staff was extremely attentive and informative.

The food that was available was good, well prepared Indian food. The buffet is small, but does have several staples such as butter chicken and daal. The staff seemed a bit confused on who seated which customers. Iced tea wasn't available, we were given refills of lukewarm warm with no ice. I'm glad Indian cuisine is available in Hattiesburg finally, but we will wait until there is a menu and more dishes available to return.
