There is no way to go into a Cracker Barrel and not reminisce on days gone by. The consistency of the CB makes this review most likely applicable to most all other CBs. We stopped on Sunday afternoon so we got caught up in the church crowd. Despite the throngs of folks on the front porch waiting, the line moved quickly. We were met with all smiles from the friendly staff. Once seated, we were tended to by our server. My wife got the half pound burger and I got the pastrami. Burger was pretty good...not great. My pastrami tasted great, but I thought the sandwich was pretty light on pastrami. There was a big hunk in the center of the bread, but around the edges was more like a cheese sandwich. No meat. This is a great stop for road trips.

Sat Morning Breakfast with good friends- Conveniently located, easy in, easy out. New store and it was clean but what CB isn't? The employees are polite, smiling and work well with each other. The food is good. We had regular breakfast fair but we didn't leave much on the plates. Most was consumed rather quickly. You can quickly see this becoming a 'regular' stop for locals. They have much to choose from but with the service as it is, it'll be a while before anyone drops it.

Come here often enough. They have pretty good breakfast. I guess you could say downhome cooking. The biscuits are real good.

I love the consistency of Cracker Barrel. Service is always solid. Portions are always satisfactory, and the meal is always served at the right temperature. I came in late for dinner tonight, and was glad they stay open to 11:00 P.M. on weekends. My only complaint tonight would be the dining area seemed a little behind with cleaning the tables. Nothing major, although I elected to sit at an alternate table as a result.

The quality of this Cracker Barrel is well below average from what you expect from this chain. As well - as of November 2014 they did not do so good on their Health Inspection score as you'll clearly see posted on their wall as you enter. This location is hidden off a random highway and rarely inspected by corporate due to its location so the quality is quite poor. On two occasions I've found hair in my food bc their cooks don't follow proper protocol of health code. As well, on another occasion I have seen waiters doing things such as wipe their nose and so on. My biggest complaint recently was when they delivered the food, the waitress was poorly trained and had her thumb deep inside the plate and was inside of the mashed potatoes as she laid down the plate. Not a good thing to see and the food tasted awful. In my opinion, keep driving until you spot one further down and skip this one. Not worth the time and you will not be happy.

I feel as if I've said this same thing about another Cracker Barrel, and why did we stop at another one? Because we are in a culinary black hole just outside of Hattiesburg: if you want to see everything that's gone horribly wrong with America all you have to do is go to a Cracker Barrel (or a Walmart). I don't mean to be a hater here, but seriously, what the hell is wrong with these people? A majority of them (I am not exaggerating) are obese and they seem really damn happy about eating some of the shittiest food served in the U.S.. McDonald's at least has a distinct flavor that makes people's addiction to it somewhat understandable. But the only thing Cracker Barrel has going for it are their biscuits. Other than that, it's all garbage. And like so many bullshit chains in this country, they attempt to give the appearance of looking out for their patrons health by slapping the word "natural" on certain items. Ha! "Natural syrup" being 55% maple syrup diluted with cane syrup. Great. Watered-down coffee, sausage that tastes like a brick of chemicals, half a stick of butter on the pancakes. Go for it, America! After all, when your so-called judgement day arrives and there's no more Soilent Green to keep us alive, we'll be looking to you to be the next hog we throw on the spit.

I always visit this store when I want a really good breakfast. Food is hot and comes out fast. I gave 3 stars bc 3 years ago the waitress delivered my food and had her thumb in my pancakes!!

I've been to Cracker Barrels all over the US. This one is by far the worst. When dining in, we had to wait to be seated for 30 minutes, even though there were tables available, the hostess was just a rude woman who wasn't seating anyone. We ordered takeout and got home to find that my sides were missing. Called and she offered to have them waiting for me. Not interested. She offered then to mail me a coupon, that's perfect since I was about to move. I get the coupon and it's totally blank, no "authorized" signature on it. I doubt I can even use it.

I stopped at this Cracker Barrel on the way to Louisiana. We arrived shortly after opening so it was pretty empty. We were seated and our waitress was there to take our order. I had the Old Timer's Breakfast, two scrambled eggs, Sawmill Gravy, Homemade Buttermilk Biscuits, Hashbrown Casserole, and Smoked Sausage Patties. The food (all of it) was bland and I loaded it up with tabasco. The sausage patties were dry., gravy was not good, etc. I have been to Cracker Barrel a few times now and am not impressed. I would take McDonald's breakfast over a Cracker Barrel and think I can probably make a better and tastier breakfast. Think this will be my last trip to a Cracker Barrel. Service was great though.

The country store is always the best part of Cracker Barrel, got some holiday shopping done! The service was fantastic, probably the best I've ever had at a cracker barrel, even with the already cheap prices our waitress helped us get the best deal for what we wanted. The food was good, not great, but I still chowed down. Big portions for small prices is ALWAYS a plus.

I enjoyed it. White trash old people food, what gets better than this? I loved how that country store is just packed with so much toys, candy, old wife stuff, and crafts. The food was decent. I'd go back.

We were seated quickly and our waitress Charlette was polite & efficient. when they brought my food it was COLD, not lukewarm but really cold. Sent it back, next plate was warmer but still not as it should be. We love Cracker Barrel but this one was disappointing,

if what you want is a roaring fire, chicken fried whatever you want, 3 sides of your choice (from mac and cheese to corn to fried apples!), a never-empty frosted mug of raspberry lemonade, well, you're found your place, and will be very, very welcome.

Overall: Awesome, check it out if you are nearby. I recommend: - The country fried steak. It was breaded nicely so that it had a great crunch, good flavor and tender meat. The gravy on top was gooooood. - The pancakes were nice and fluffy and delicious. - Bacon, was thick and not burnt. - Fried apples were awesome. Pass on the following: - Eggs, were nothing to rave about. - Fried okra. It didn't have any flavor. Service: - Awesome. Very nice and hospitable. Décor: - Very cozy and quaint. It felt like we were eating in a barn.
