Best restaurant in Hattiesburg. Consistently great every time we eat here. The food is delicious, the service is great, the ambiance is chill & comfy... it's an all around great experience. My husband and I sit at the bar every time we come, especially when Shelby is working the bar. That girl runs the place! She works the floor, the bar & the phones like it's nobody's business. She always knows what we drink and has it in front of us before we even get our menus. And her drinks are AMAZING!!! We've eaten here at least 6 times and always had a great time & a great meal.

I had lunch there last week. The food was good along with good service. Very similar to other Cheddars that I have visited. For the money this is a hard place to beat. Nice decor, good food and service and low prices.

Bad Service! We were seated promptly because there were only a half a dozen customers and it was 8:45 in the evening. It took the server 10 minutes to finally take our drink orders. She apologized and said she was looking for something. Appetizer came but salads didn't arrive until right before the meal. 45 minutes after we ordered, the server said they were out of most of our sides (mashed potates, mac & cheese, broccoli casserole). We were not told of the shortage until the food was already on the hot bar. Drink refills had to be asked for. Talked to the manager and our meal was discounted. The food was up to the standard of Cheddars but the service was not. We will not be eating there again.

A good place for a reasonably priced meal - portions were very large (you could split the ones we had), service was good and there was plenty of parking. The menu is varied, on out two visits we had the ribs and pasta - both were good.

As I was walking in this afternoon, wait staff cut in front of me to go inside the establishment allowing the first door to close on me. They held the second door when they realized who all was watching. Upon being seated, I asked for the quietest area in the restaurant, as I had to conduct business. When they said that entire restaurant was at the same decibel, I asked for the music to be turned down for just a few seconds. They turned the music louder. This forced me to leave. Upon exiting, the staff said to have a great day while they laughed. Rude, childish, disgusting and arrogant are just a few of the adjectives that come to mind regarding this staff! I had to give this place one star; however, it's a star that refuses to shine!!!

This place hires criminals, thieves, and addicts to cook and serve your food. The kitchen staff is always high, the management is completely complacent, and they have no sense of customer service. The clientele consists of poor people, with bad attitudes and a psychotic sense of entitlement. There is no gratuity fee for large parties, and several times I was actually given 25 tops with no help.

Just walked out without being seated because of the rude hostess. My wife and I came in and the hostess asked if we would like a table and I said a booth please if one was available She said it would be a 30 min wait I walked over and looked in one area where people were, she said no one was waiting on that area and she walked off. I looked to the right of her station and could see 2 booths available and people setting all around this area Not sure what was going on but I will not be back.

They were without shrimp pasta or some sandwiches you expect that the restaurant have everything on the menu and if not it will be honest from the waitress to let us know in avance before wait to place our order the cheddars in hattiesburg ms was disonest

Best onion rings. 3.99 for a large plate. Enough for two adults. These are not frozen, but freshly prepared Service a little slow but to be expected for food cooked as it is ordered.

I stopped by yesterday with my wife and our daughter for an impromptu "Mother's Day" dinner when I got off work around 5pm.The restaurant was still busy with families celebrating Mother's Day so there was a wait for the larger parties but the hostess seated us immediately as our party was small.She was very polite and professional,I wish I could remember her name.We were greeted right away by our server,Nick.He was really on top of his game.We had spinach dip,at my wife's request,which was excellent and tasted very fresh.I had a "Painkiller" that was really good,impressive presentation,and it came out very quickly.The steak and shrimp was great and my wife had the chicken fried chicken which was excellent as well.I enjoyed the "Painkiller" so much that I had another after my meal.Our server,Nick,was the icing on the cake though.He was prompt,professional,outgoing,and overall just a great server.Also,I was pleasantly surprised at how inexpensive our experience was!!Ive never been to Cheddar's before but after yesterday I highly recommend it.Great Job Guys!!All around!!

The food was very good and the service was EXCEPTIONAL. The grown up grilled cheese sandwich was a real winner. A reflection of terrific management hiring quality employees.

Food was good and inexpensive but I was really shocked at how cheap the drinks were. The margaritas were huge and only $3.50! This is a cool place to hang out with friends after a crazy day at work.

Went there after 1st month of being open so they can work out the problems. Well the food was ok crossiants were warm & yummy. Party of 8 with separate tickets took forever to check out! Will try again if crowds ever lessen up.

I was pleased with my food, not so much with the service. It was possibly because me and a group of friends showed up an hour or so before the restaurant closed.

The food was filling and the staff was very helpful. Our drinks came out timely, however our appetizer arrived at the same time as our entree. That didn't really bother us much, because it was all tasty. The waitress apologized and the manager came to apologize towards the end of our meal also. I will definitely come here again.

We made our first visit to Cheddar's on Memorial date, late afternoon. The wait was short and it was worth it. We both ordered totally different menu items and both were excellent. There were a couple of "bobbles" from the kitchen but the staff resolved them immediately and with a VERY good attitude. The only downside is that it is a little loud but many/most restaurants of its type are about the same. With good food and excellent service, I cannot imagine that they will not remain busy even after the new has worn off. I know we definitely plan to return and to try some different items from their extensive menu selection.

OK so as many know: a new restraunt opens and everone want to check it out. SO we went to dinner early (about 4:30) and got seated right away. The staff was friendly and attentive, the food was excellent, prices are really good, you get plenty of food (including the kids, my son was so full he couldn't finish his!) oh and they have a drink called the "cheddar's painkiller" it os fruity and sweet and everything great about a good desert drink. Only downfall was the salad (roasted pear spring salad) I got was supposed to be a maple vinegrette, it had a good taste but I couldn't really taste the maple and the vinegar was so strong I had the tingle tongue burnt palate thing going on, but thats a prefrence/taste bud thing so can't fault them for that. Can't wait to go back and try few more things....OH and when we left about 5:30 the people waiting were not only inside, but outside as well, so for now plan you timing or be patient =)
