This place is amazing. Friend of mine and I were looking for a local watering hole that played live music, had a sports bar feel and also had a Gulf Coast attitude and swanky-ness about it. We found it with the Irish Coast Pub. Owner and his wife run the joint. Place is incredible. Great music. There's an open mic type night. Phenomenal bands. Cold ass beer. And the food... Amazing. Irish Nachos are a must. Reasonable prices on everything. Great atmosphere. Friendly people. It's a win/win/win.

Cool Irish bar with lots of drink options. We came here and enjoyed some good beers and the guineas mixes were really good. Try the German Shepard which is Guinness with Hefeweizen

Not impressed with service or food. Wouldn't come back. Had the black and bleu burger and pizza rolls - service was slow and it was empty. It tasted less than par. The owner served us and seemed nice, but he should work on timing and a smaller menu focused on quality.

I went to this pub a while back with a large group from my school for karaoke. The owner was so nice and amazing! The bartender, a lady with red hair, was a total jerk! She wouldn't take my order, or make the drink I know they serve there. Terrible service, I will NEVER go back!

Reading the other reviews I was looking forward to some good pub fare. What we got was uninspiring at best. The fish and chips used a bread crumb breeding rather than a traditional batter, and the chips were lukewarm and stale. My wife's burger was ordered medium rare and cooked well done, while the fries, labeled "world famous", may have needed to be in another world. So, it was Friday night, off-season and early for night club, Still there is no reason to serve still fried food to people coming in for a bite to eat.

The scotch eggs were good, the rest of the food was very mediocre. My burger was a quarter pounder (small) and more bread than burger, the fries were cold and everything was basically tasteless. My husband got the fish and pub chips, but they weren't much either. We didn't stay for the music as only drums were just being set up. We didn't wait to see what else was going to join them. Not recommended unless you're just there to drink.

There is nothing about this place that I don't like. The food is excellent no matter what time of night you order, there's always something interesting to do, good entertainment and interesting people to talk to. The owner is friendly intelligent and an excellent conversationalist and I always enjoy my time here. I recommend it to locals tourists or anyone that's interested in having a nice evening or a good meal.

Excellent pint of Guinness! As an out of towner, I thought this place was good. Good service, friendly bartenders. I came in alone and did not feel too out of place with the regulars. I had the Smurf Burger with eggplant fries. Both were good for bar food. Have I had better? Absolutely. But overall this was a good experience and I would come back. If I lived here this would probably be one of my regular stomps. I recommend you drop by. Cheers!

If I'm going to a bar, this is the place. It's not a hipster place, but it's not a place for BRO's either. Great bar service, and they always have a good musical selection. I haven't tried the food but I have heard good things. They also have a running team that meets on Tuesday evenings.

New to the coast and just happened to find this pub while walking around downtown. What a great pub, great food we had a burger and the meat pie, meat pie was great. Seriously, the food is really good there music selection playing was great and it just a great chill night out. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner and told us there they have live bands on the weekends. Just a great place to go that is not expensive. Thanks for opening a great place!

Close to 4.5 stars. So, you're in town, looking for a place to grab a drink; not a dive bar, but not a 'club' scene. This is the spot. Great drink selection, great service, and live music with a small dance floor. Alive with music, but not a roar that makes conversation impossible, crowd is relaxed and lively, but not full of drunk idiots (true to form, they removed my friend... who can be a drunk idiot at times..and he was being a drunk idiot). Sadly, we found this place later at night, and didn't get a chance to get a full time in to experience in full. Great for visitors, or for locals, I'd say.

We had fun here. it was later in the night and this was far from the first stop. Pretty cool atmosphere and fun for people watching. Didn't eat, just had drinks and it wasn't too crowded.

Great food and reasonable drink prices. The bands can get a little loud in such a small space, but just check the calendar before coming if you're not into that.

Walkin' around the car show this weekend, really craving a burger and a beer...I felt there just had to be a place nearby that wasn't sterile and strip-mallish and obscenely loud. And here it was! Nice staff, comfy interior, pristine bathrooms and above average bar food. Not to mention I didn't have to explain to the bartender what a Black and Blue was, because it was on the drink menu! Will definitely be back.

I have been here twice and both times the food was amazing. I came here once with my husband and we shared the Reuben and Fried Chicken Sliders. The Reuben was delicious and had the perfect amount of the usual toppings, not too much sauerkraut or dressing, it was just right. The fried chicken sliders were by far some of the best sliders I have ever had. The chicken is crispy and the garlic aioli is to die for. It just melts in your mouth. These sliders are seriously one of the tastiest things I have ever eaten. We got them both served with the pub chips which were amazing. Perfectly seasoned and perfectly fried. The second time I came here I shared the Dublin dip with a friend and got the fried chicken sliders again for my meal. Obviously. The Dublin dip was so delicious! The waitress recommended it and I'm glad she did because I don't know if it was something I would normally order. The chips were served warm and the dip was served hot. You have to try it. I did get some disappointing news that they were taking the sliders off the menu however the waitress and the kitchen went above and beyond and made them for me anyway. I was only in MS for a few months but if I lived here this would be a regular place for me. And I would make sure they wouldn't take those sliders off the menu! The atmosphere of this place is really great too. Lots of cool genuine Irish stuff to look at and it has the feel of a real Irish pub. The staff is very friendly and attentive. This pub is definitely a place you should try if you are in the area.

Lots and Lots of beer! A good mood at night on the weekends. They usually have a band. From what I hear they have great trivia on Monday nights that is a lot of fun!
