Talk about a deal! What, $8.49 for an all you can eat southern meal? Can not beat that. Everything is delicious here. The chicken is better than any fried chicken places you can get around here. It's crispy, crunchy, and moist inside. No greasy fingers here. Love the brown sugar carrots, green beans, and tomato okra. They also offer some praline brownies, apple cobbler, peach cobbler, and ice cream for dessert. Along with fresh strawberries and honey dew. Out of the two chicken buffets here on the coast, Cajun's comes out on top by a mile

Everything here tastes better when you're wearing gym clothes. Trust me on this. You need the gut expansion freedom when you are eating a bunch of fried chicken with biscuits, mashed potatoes, black eyed peas, and fried okra.

Re-rating my review, it is a chicken restaurant I've found nearby, and the price and food were both phenomenal! This is why in my opinion that I will always come back to dining in at that restaurant. I love the other food, including the loaded potato salad, mashed potatoes with gravy, biscuits, and fried okra. The livers and spicy flavored chicken pieces were perfectly fried and kept hot, not cold. This is one of the best restaurants found on Pass Rd. Don't miss it!

Every time we go to Biloxi, we see a sign on a bench advertising this place. My husband and I were in the mood to have some greasy chicken so I whipped out Yelp to check this place out. I saw the number of stars, so we decided to try it out. The lot was full, yet we managed to find a spot and all piled out. We were greeted with several stern hand written warnings posted on the door about only accepting cash and not sitting down until you paid. We should have left then. We walked in and stood in a 15 minute long line. This restaurant is super tiny and tables are packed in like soda cans in a six pack. When we finally paid for our meal, we realized we were holding trays with Styrofoam plates, and plastic utensils. And there was NO place to sit. I don't mean no comfortable place, I mean not ONE available table. Not even a two person table. (However, there were several tables with portly gentlemen, just lounging back shooting the breeze. ) So what is a hungry family of five to do with trays and no place to sit? We asked for a refund. Initially, we were denied, and told we would just have to wait. Meanwhile, they continued to sell buffets and people began to mill about breathing on the food. A couple people just stood with their backs (and hair) to the buffet blocking the line, and eating standing up. I informed the lady at the counter that I would in fact not "just wait", and I wanted a refund. After much grumbling we were given a refund. We sat our trays on the counter and plates and all, they were handed directly to the people who were next up on the mule train of paying, yet mistreated customers. I will never go back.

Holy Moly! The facts: buffet style, adult dine in 8.29 plus all you can drink soda/tea 1.99. The opinion: YUMMMY! The biscuits are to die for (and I almost did from consuming too many!) The spicy fried chicken is perfectly spiced, perfectly crispy, and perfectly cooked (the mild fried chicken is just that, mild, not even pepper.) The fried okra had no cajun spices, but okra... fried... mm-mm-mm! The coleslaw was the best I've had since leaving Chicago (for an interesting twist they added dill seasoning.) I didn't have room for anything else but I saw beans, dirty rice, corn on the cob, plus many other sides. The downside: the facility could use a good scrub with new carpeting or better yet no carpeting instead install tile. It's all you can eat... I'm in pain... Oh those biscuits!

I really like this place. It's like Shakeys, but different, haha (I love Shakeys as well). It is the not the best fried chicken ever, but for the price and variety of sides, I think it is a good value. Better than KFC or whatever. It's just a fried chicken buffet, with all the sides. They have spicy and normal fried chicken, that thin sliced style fried catfish (which I am not a fan of, no matter where it is at), fried livers and a boat load of sides, biscuits and rolls and cornbread. The chicken was pretty good. I wish the spicy was more spicy though. I only ate a couple pieces. The batter/skin is thick and super crunchy. I can only do so much of that, heh. The fried livers were my favorite though. Damn those things were good. Cooked just right. The mashed potatoes and gravy, coleslaw, biscuits, potato salad, the cooked potatoes, dirty rice, cabbage and the peas were all really good. I went on a carb fest, with a side of fried livers. I didn't get to try all the sides though. Next time when I am in town. They have a bunch of teas, which I didn't try. I should had. The little dessert area was alright. They have like chocolate cake, and peach and apple cobbler. It was alright. And a soft serve ice cream machine. The place is not that big. You might have to stand and wait for a table. I didn't mind it. I thought all the workers were nice there. If it's busy, it's busy I guess. You have to keep asking for more of the little paper bowls and plates as well. It's cash only. Came out to like 9.25 for just the buffet. I think a drink is 2 bucks.

When you are traveling with your four grown children, sometimes a meal just needs to be tasty and cheap. Those $20 entrees with drinks and tips add up quickly with a group of six. A couple of nights ago we just wanted dinner, not a deluxe meal experience. Cajun's delivers just that. Is it fancy? Not at all, think a fast food restaurant. Is the food delicious? Absolutely. The spicy fried chicken was as promised. Spicy, crispy and moist. The dirty rice was phenomenal, add the spicy red beans on there - I could have ate just that. Mashed potatoes and gravy, yum. Biscuits, fried okra and fried fish - all good. A few plain sides, but there was a large selection, more than you would have expected given the size. Definitely a selection that will accommodate all tastes. If you are looking for a "dining experience", this isn't it. If you are looking for a light, heart-healthy meal - this isn't it. If you want some delicious fried flavorful food - run, don't walk to Cajun's. Caution - try to control yourself with the AYCE, several of us left painfully full; no need to do that to yourself because you can always go back!

At only 10 reviews this place deserves way more fans than it garners. On a quick trip to the IPA casinos in Gulfport, MS, one of my friends found out about Cajun's through Yelp. We all laughed at the name since we were just in New Orleans and were currently nursing a food hangover from 3 days of creole/cajun indulgence. Oh, not another Lil Dizzy's, Willie Mae's or fried chicken joint.... Really? We looked at the price $7.99 AYCE. We went in. First you would think of a cafeteria as you go in, a self serve buffet. The staff members who work here are members of the community, hard working and serve up food that you'd think only the neighborhood appreciates. If it weren't for Yelp, only locals would know of it, a secret maybe. And I don't blame them. There were over 20 dishes to pick from and my favorites in order of preference were: House-made biscuits- Ohhhhhhhhhhh. I hate biscuits. Having grown up in California, we don't know good biscuits outside of KFC, Popeyes, a small Southern diner here and there. These biscuits were the size of muffins, brown on top, you bite into soft buttery smelling pillows and the top has this moist browned butter coating that was out of this world flavor. I've never had that, never I bought some on the side takeout and had it with butter and marmalade and also bought a side of gravy to dip them in. I can't stop thinking about the biscuits. Spicy Fried Chicken (there's also mild)-- super crunchylicious outside, moist and meaty inside. I wanted to have more but I had to stop. There was mashed potatoes and gravy that was yummy too. Gravy was out of this world. I dipped the crunch skin in gravy and that sent all of us running back to the buffet. Okra with tomatoes-- Let me say I've had okra in many variations but this dish was my favorite of the sides. It wasnt fried, it was sauteed with tomatoes, nice and light, fresh and deeeelishush. There was an evident contrast of flavors, sweet and tart from the tomatoes that worked with the fresh okra in a delectable way. Black-eyed peas were superior. But honestly there was soooo much food and sides I didn't have room. Batter fried fish-- I don't know what kind of fish that was but it was flavorful, tender and held really well with the batter. It was not catfish I know that but I grabbed 3 pieces. I've never had this fish and should have asked. Dirty rice with fresh scallions-- You can tell this was freshly made because the meat was sauteed brown but the addition of fresh green onion added that fresh herb taste that sent this dish to whoooole 'nother level. Desserts-- Classic southern staples here: cobblers. Didn't have room but my possee said the peach cobbler was TDF. You look at the crowd and you can clearly see a devoted following: families, grandma and grandpa, singles, college and high school kids with parents. It was a neighborhood that came to eat for lunch but in.... droves. Makes me wanna visit Gulfport more often and eat the biscuits, chicken and okra every day. If you don't eat meat, the sides alone would make ANY vegetarian peacefully content. But ya gotta have them biscuits!!! Tip: Cash only. Come after the rush hour because there are only 15-20 tables and it's buffet style. If the parking lot is full you know you are going to wait. More parking on the street. For $7.99 you can get your food to go but not AYCE, just proteins and sides and dessert in a styro box. Visits: 1

Decent place in the Biloxi/Gulfport area to grab some all you can eat southern food. Their selection isn't huge, but the food is not bad. As their name suggests they specialize in fried chicken. They have two types of fried chicken, spicy and regular. The chicken is crispy and has a good flavor. Their catfish is okay too. In addition they have an assortment of vegetables and other southern specialties. Their mashed potatoes are instant rather than homemade. If you're looking for a quick and cheap meal this is a good choice.

This place is a real treat. It's affordable and the food is great. The fish and spicy fried chicken is the best in my opinion. Great place to stop by for a quick home style meal.

I've been seeing signs for this place ever since moving here a few weeks ago. Being from the south, I love fried chicken. So I was excited to try this place. The food is good, but no where near "fabulous." The chicken is juicy and the skin is very crispy, but not very flavorful. There are a lot of sides to choose from but overall I was not impressed. It's not bad, but it's not as good as expected. I probably won't be going back.

This is one of those places that you eat at no more than once a month because you will DIE!!! They have the best fried chicken in gulfport (**** 1/2 stars) they have chicken livers (**** stars) gizzards (**** stars) okra, greens, biscuits, rice & gravy, mashed potatoes and everything else that will clog your arteries and kill you with a smile on your face. Worst of all its a buffet, so you and speed up that death if you have no reason to live. Parking is ok table space is a premium and you might want to grab one while the other people pay because there is always people eating here. Its not fancy but will leave a warm rock in your gut that will have you feeling comatose like after Thanksgiving/ You have been warned...

Much better my second time around. Tasty food, great value. Just wish they had macaroni and cheese and a bigger dessert selection.

God I wish we could do half stars - because 3.5 is solid. I have to be honest I am so partial to Popeye's and two Sisters in Jackson, a place that frys chicken has to bring it. Cajun's is solid they are just a shade below my standards when it comes to fried chicken - but I would put them in my Top 5 category of Fried Chicken Joints that I've had across the country. In no particular order, Popeye's Chicken, Harold's Chicken in Chicago, Hot Sauce Williams in Cleveland, Ohio, Two Sister's in Jackson, MS and Cajun's in Gulfport/Biloxi Honorable mention: Gus's Memphis Tennessee Jack Pirtle's Memphis Tennessee Browns Chicken Chicago, IL

Absolutely fantastic food for a cheap price. Big chain fried chicken buffets have got nothing on Cajun's. The only downside is how packed-out the dining room can get, but I guess I can't blame a place for being successful. The staff are always friendly and attentive too, no matter how busy it gets. The only downside is that they either don't take plastic or their reader has been broken for more than a year, so try to bring cash!

I work around the corner from this place and if you want to get stuffed this is the place to go. All you can eat fried chicken and gizzards. Upon request they will bake some chicken also. Too bad there isn't one near I live....

I noticed this place was always busy while visiting town and decided to give it a whirl. Oh lord, thank you for your bounty. The chicken was awesome; moist, tasty, and not at all greasy. The sides were excellent and plentiful as well, minus the greens which were obviously canned. Can't flag them on that though given the turnaround in this place. Really excellent and worth the money. Also I wanted to smuggle the biscuits out of that place in my pockets. Oh yes, the other nice thing was the food was all piping hot. On a buffet. Talk about a rarity. No credit cards here, cash and carry only.

I've always been a fan of Cajun's. We always used to stop before a trip offshore and pick up some chicken before a trip and everyone onboard would devour it. I'm saddened that I have to drive all the way to Gulfport though, I used to visit the Edgewater location frequently before the Hurricane. As soon as we entered there was a pair of ladies ordering and it quickly reminded me of comedian John Pinette's routine about dumb people in line. A middle aged black lady was in line at a fried chicken establishment and could'nt figure out what she wanted, lol. I was thinking to myself, " they have chicken and quess what else? chicken! get out of the line!" lol Now as for the food at Cajuns I'll have to say that I find it much more flavorfull than Casino buffet food. I love the dirty rice, the black eyed peas, the fried okra, the chicken and the mashed potato's and gravy. Although the mashed potatos were very watery this trip like their using instant mashed potaos but that was my only complaint. Cajuns fried chicken is my favorite chicken on the entire gulf coast. During our visit another patron was doing business on her cell phone quite loudly and taking calls from family even singing happy birthday to her grandson. It was almost as bad as having screaming kids run around unattended. I dont blame Cajuns for stupid customers but I'll certainly make it a point to visit during off hours next time. Note: they dont take plastic!
