I am a displaced New Yorker, originally from Long Island....anyway, we like our pizza. I now live in Mobile Alabama and lets face it, y'all are not finding a good pizza in this town....so at work we were talking about food and the conversation came up about me missing my pizza....that is when a co-worker mentioned New York Pizza, skeptical, yes I was....but before ruling out anyplace, I need to try for myself.....and we did just that, my wife, kid and I drove over to Gautier to try the food.....I was surprised to say the least, now I am a little bias, but the pie was good, we ordered an XL "NY Special", the crust was well made and cooked just right....not exactly like a real NYC Pizza from Ray's, but by far the best thing around here, guess the question would be..."would I return" and yeah, it is worth the ride over, next time, we'll try the sandwiches, table next to me had them and they looked great! See ya again....soon!

Damn decent pie. Fresh made hand tossed New York style crust with what appeared to be fresh ingredients. Got the white pizza. Ricotta , ham & mozzarella. Phoned in my order for pick up & the pizza was screaming hot. Now for the reason why no 5th star. No cheese or pepper flakes for Togo orders. ? Weird. Not a huge deal but kinda a bummer. Luckily I had everything on hand. Maybe I'm just being picky. All in all a great local family run business which has been around forever. & they do slices which is unheard of around these parts.

First off I am a New Yorker so the bar is set very high for NY style Pizza but with that said its decent . I feel the crust is missing something , maybe its the NY water or some salt even . But these are good people and they have great service ...

Amazing pizza and sandwiches! I love this place for many reasons. First off, it's locally owned and the owners are awesome, besides being Yankee fans. I love the fact that you can get just a slice for lunch or an xl for dinner. The ingredients are always fresh and the pizza hot. They put just enough ingredients to make it all twine together. The workers are so nice, pizza ready on time, and the food is amazing!....I would upload a pic, but the pizza didn't last long enough.

Nice staff and good pizza. This is as close to NY Pizza that you can get without going all the way to NYC. You order this by the slice-- thin crust and huge slices. In NYC and here they always have Red Pepper flakes, Parmesean Cheese, Garlic powder and Oregano to shake on your pizza. Food is always yummy.

I can't get enough of their pizza. My daughter is addicted to the cheese pizza. The cheese steak ala garden sandwich is delicious. If you want a good salad, they have that too. Love it.
