Good food, fair prices, and good service. What could be better than that? They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, and they have a complete bar. Bloody Mary's, Mimosas if you want a cocktail with your breakfast/brunch. I also give bonus points for NOT being a corporate restaurant, not a Waffle House, etc. My only complaint would be that the decor is standard '50's diner style, with the usual Elvis/Marilyn/Dean iconography. It's a bit cliche'd, but I don't go to diners for styling.

Always love a good 50's theme diner. This location is quant with good character. This was first visit and for breakfast. Delish! Went with the traditional breakfast just to not have anything too heavy on stomach for a day of flying. Scrambled eggs, wheat toast, grits, and andouille sausage. Mmmm! The French Toast, Pancakes, and Waffles looked great! I'm thinking waffles next time!

One of my favorites in Flowood. The food is always good. The best club sand which in town! They serve breakfast all day and my hubby loves their cinnamon roll waffles. Great local place!

I used to love this place before it moved. We would go every Sunday for a late breakfast. Once they moved to Dogwood the service went down the drain, so we stopped going after about the third time with terrible service (the food remained good, which is why I gave 3 stars).

Damn fine burger! 1/2# of hand formed/flat-top cooked goodness. Service was great and the burger came as fast as a 1/2# of fresh chuck can arrive. Flowood could have a new under $10 burger champ!

The food is very good. Not sure why it took me so long to stop by for a bite. It's like $10 for an omelette. The grits were a bit watery. Otherwise, it's a good place.

Just ate there. Usually great. Tonight took an hour to get our food and the food was so so at best. Heard a waitress say out loud, complaining that a table is all "paying fing separate". Wow.

Milkshakes are probably the best I've ever had! Plus they give you the extra overflow in the metal mixing cup. My husband raves about their club sandwich but I always go for an omelet and it is always delicious. Plus the kid's menu is cheap, which is always appreciated. We've always had good service here. Recently, my omelet wasn't made how it usually is and the waiter explained that he'd misunderstood so I was going to just write it off and let it go, as that one little thing wouldn't stop me from coming back. But the manager overheard, said he wanted to make sure we were completely happy and remade my omelet despite my protests that he didn't have to. It was back out and delicious in less than 5 minutes! Love this place!

The Butterfinger milkshake was the best I've ever had....and huge enough for two people. We live in Oregon and totally enjoyed our meal!

Solid diner food with a classic theme. This was my first visit, and it was for breakfast--which is served all day. There is also a lunch/dinner menu. I enjoyed the atmosphere: classic tunes and retro designs. Plus, they had great service. The chicken fried steak I ordered was really delish, as was my husband's crawfish omelette. The rest of the food was good, but not amazing. The food was ready faster than I thought it would be, and overall I really enjoyed the new experience. I will definitely be coming back to try the gravy fries & a burger for dinner one day soon.

The food was good but not the service. The gravy came out of a can but was ok. Don't order an appetizer because it comes out with the food. The food came to the table one person at a time.

Much better at the new location. Great burgers and lunch specials. The service is always good. Great breakfast as always. My only complaint is their bacon. Love bacon but I pass on theirs.

Great food, great service, great atmosphere. It's the restaurant trifecta. Menu has a broad menu that includes a blue plate, burgers, breakfast, shakes, etc. they have 2 bars, one for alcoholic beverages and one for shakes. 50's music!

Went to Jo's for 2nd time at new location. They're not known for speed, but today was awful. Waitress tried to seat 2 of us at one of those tiny tables that should only be used for single diners, even though there were about 4 or 5 empty booths. She was put out that we asked to have a booth. Our waitress didn't seem to be able to handle the tables she had. Had to ask for more coffee because she wasn't coming by to check on us. When our food finally did arrive, both orders of eggs were cold. Over medium eggs that aren't hot are just gross. We sent those back. My guest's pancakes were cold, but we'd waited so long for food & were hungry so he kept those. My French toast came about several minutes after the rest of the food. You'd think this would mean it was hot. You'd be wrong. Just kind of warm. I'm afraid they may have bitten off more than they can chew moving into the bigger location. If their service doesn't improve, it might do them in. Other restaurants in the area manage to serve many more people in a timely manner, so the "this is not fast food" sign isn't going to cut it.
