Hole in the wall mom and pops restaurant. I was a little nervous at first because the building seemed old and dingy but the food that came out of the kitchen was incredible. I would recommend the general tso's chicken and beef pho.

I came here on a whim for lunch and was a bit concerned because it was tagged on Yelp as Chinsese/Vietnamese. Usually that means they make decent Chinese food, try and make Vietnamese food and it's meh. However, the owners are Vietnamese. I ordered the broccoli and beef rice dish, and the portion was huge! The sauce was not watered down nor as thick as molasses. The food came out warm and in an appropriate amount of time. There are very few tables and seats in the restaurant, and you come in and seat yourself. The wait and cook staff will come out and great you, and they are extremely friendly and eager to please. The restaurant looks like a true blue hole in the wall, however, the food is good.

Total hole in the wall but in all the best possible ways. We had the Phó and BBQ pork and both were wonderful, especially the Phó. Spot On!!! Also makes a really good road stop off of I-10 since it's just a mile down the I-110 spur.

The cook in the back is awesome! Very friendly and welcoming. Can i say generous!? This place is not fancy but his customer service and the quality of the food and vegetables he serves makes you want to come back here for more!

The pho here was great. I've had pho in numerous restaurants from Los Angeles to Oklahoma City and this was one of my favorites. The gentleman running the place was also very friendly. Will definitely come back when I return to town.

Always....always fresh food made to order! I usually order their General Tso's chicken-spicy and stir-fry veggies w/fried tofu. It takes about 15-25 mins. Depending on how busy they are. Yes it is "a hole in the wall" place and yet, the best kept secret! Portions are generous, too! The husband and wife are always welcoming and kind!

Just great food always freshly cooked and served with a smile. Personal favorites are Singapore Noodles or Pork Fried Rice. The egg rolls are also 5 star!

Best asian cuisine on the coast. Entrees come in huge portions and are made fresh to order. Chef stopped by our table and suggested the Vietnamese noodle and fried rice dishes. We got the Vietnamese noodle and haven't had anything that good since NYC. Very casual atmosphere. We will be coming often. They take visa and mastercard.

We were skeptical when we walked in, but glad we stayed. They have the best fried rice! It had that delicious wok tossed flavor. The won ton noodle soup was tasty as well. They're a take out restaurant with a few tables for dine in. Will definitely stop by in the future!

I ate here the other day and the food was wonderful! The owner was very friendly and the food tasted great. I ordered Vietnamese noodles with vegetables and it was fresh and well prepared.

Warning: this is not a vietnamese style restaurant. They offered eat they called was Pho but was more like a wonton soup with a few veggies. They didn't offer sliced beef or meatballs or any typical condiments like basil or cilantro. This place was just an ordinary Chinese food place with nothing special, poor service and dirty tables. I asked for water and she brought me a bottle of semi warm water. Stay away.

I've never ordered pho in America before I ordered the duck pho at 'Yes'. I have, however, enjoyed it in the disturbingly unsanitary storefront shops in several cities in Thailand. My fresh hepatitis vaccination made it easier to appreciate. 'The Harrison County Health Department has awarded 'Yes' a grade of 'A' for cleanliness, so it's not necessary to see your doctor before you go. The shop seems quiet, with few dine-in customers. I think most of their business is take-out. The staff eager to please, without being obtrusive. My duck soup came to the table just before my spring rolls. Sometimes, I guess 'appetizer' is just a concept. Nevertheless, both dishes arrived piping hot. So hot, in fact, that I had to wait and stir before I could taste. This gave me the time to appreciate the very generous portion of massive chunks of duck covered by bok choy, green onions, lots of noodles and a broth that, once I could eat it, was delicate but complex. Since it was my first, I can't compare it to other local shops, but I can say it was quite good. My spring roll was deep fried until it was just a tiny bit too dark for me, but still had a good flavor. The filling was very good. I intend to visit other local noodle shops, but not because there was a thing wrong with 'Yes'. I would go back there any time. Beside noodles, I'd like to try some of their other dishes. I have a good feeling about those.

This place is such a gem in the rough. We ordered Vietnamese coffee, spring rolls, pho with tofu and general tso's chicken. They are all so willing to please and to make sure we got exactly what we ordered. I would love to come back here just for the pho. It definitely was one of the best that I have had.

Truly a gem! The pho broth is the best I've ever had. If you are a pho connoisseur, you will love this place!

I ordered the BBQ pork fried rice. The ingredients were fresh; however, it was missing a sauce or something in the recipe as it tasted flat. I also tried the spring roll which was very good. The rice portion was huge for $8. It just didn't scratch my itch for my craving for BBQ pork fried rice.

Don't let the divey strip mall throw you off when you drive by! This place has excellent Vietnamese and Chinese cuisine. The ingredients are fresh, the service is quick, and the Vietnamese family who owns the place is very friendly (and funny!). Great place for take~out. Since they open at 8am, I love going there on a winter morning and getting a bowl of Pho (noodle soup) to warm up for the day. Never thought pho would be a good breakfast item, but the Vietnamese eat it all the time for breakfast. Now I know why! My recommendation for the Chinese menu: beef with black bean sauce.

Great food, great serving sizes, good prices, very friendly workers. The place may look a little shady but it's safe. They need a soda machine, they only sell bottled water and cans of soda. I don't get it, a soda machine seemed like easy money. Also maybe some more English or a picture I never know what I'm ordering I have to describe what it tasted like to the lady and she tells me what I had. I want to try something new but I have no idea what any thing is. Maybe I should just get Menu and google it. It doesn't matter though because I'm sure what ever the guy cooks would be amazing. I have never been able to finish my plate, there is just to much food on it. I always get sweet and sour something and a noodle dish. Go here its great!!!

"Yes," my ass - NO! NO! NO! NO! I have no idea how this place stays open and I really have no idea how it manages to get so many 5 star ratings. First, there's only one type of pho, pho "tai" and the beef isn't raw or even rare because, in the words of the waitress "it make people stomach not good..." Er, WHAT?! Yep, they boil the -whatever meat, not eye of round or anything remotely resembling it- for ___AN HOUR___?!?!?! And nope, it's not actually pho nam or pho chin. I suspect it's pho -whatever's cheapest in the clearance pile at the grocery- or pho kittykat or whatever - it's nasty. Oh, and the garnishes - a few limp bits of cilantro/corriander and some sprouts - no basil or culantro, no pepper slices, no lime. The condiments? Hoisin, siracha and soy - no nuoc mam, chilie sauce, etc. in the place. No goi cuon. Others in the party had other items from the menu and all agreed this place was just plain horrible. I'm not going to bother writing a full-blown review of this place because it just isn't worth it. There are numerous better and much better Vietnamese places all over the coast, including at least one right around the corner. If you go and think it is the greatest pho on earth, then we can just agree to disagree, but nobody I know would go back if it were free.

I LOVE this place. I mean like really deep in you soul LOVE. I took me forever before I tried this place because as many have mentioned, it is a hole in the wall. The day I finally went in I was nervous as I took in the interior. Yep, three tables and some bar stools. I thought that I was never going to like this place. Then the owner's wife appeared and things suddenly got better. The woman is so sunny she could light up a cave. Her husband is just as cheerful (one caveat to that, if you are there when he unlocks the door, you have to wait until he has coffee for real cheer. Still he fakes it well.) I can honestly say that I have never had anything that was not good. This includes the times that I have gone in and just said "Cook me whatever you feel like cooking." I do have two favorites. First is the Black Pepper Pork. The second is Salt and Pepper Shrimp. If you want it really spicy, tell him to make you cry. My wife is having an affair with their Duck Fried Rice. It is not on the menu, so you just have to ask about it.

I have been there twice now and have not been disappointed. The first time I ordered the Pho soup for a breakfast meal. I was skeptical at first, but my friend insisted that their is nothing better than a nice bowl of Pho soup to warm up for the day on a cool morning so I tried it. Although I can say that I might not agree with him when a good time to eat Pho soup is, I can not disagree that is was delicious. The other item I ordered was the General Tso's Chicken. It was again a well cooked dish served with rice. Both entrees were very generous with their portions so bring your big boy pants if you plan on finishing everything in one sitting!! This is just a little hole in the wall place so don't blink you might just pass it, but it might be the only hidden Gem that D'Iberville has to offer.

Great food. Very small place, you would miss it if you didn't know it was there. The interior is not impressive, however, the wait staff is willing to customize any dish they have. We even ordered takeout for my friend's husband, a dish that was not on the menu. They definitley aim to please!

Vietnamese dining experience does not get any better than this. Completely authentic and homemade. While you wait enjoy Vietnamese coffee. Mom and pop shop which makes the experience that much better. They only have three small tables available for seating but the owners are very inviting. Most people seem to enjoy takeout. The spring rolls, house lo mein, and vermicelli are simply out of this world. Portions are huge and I mean huge! You will definitely get your monies worth.

The food here is TTTTTOOOTTAAAALLLLYYYYY awesome. This little place has great food from the Pho soup to the Lo Meins. Their spring rolls are great andI have had their curry singapore noodles with pork and chicken. So wonderful. Not to much curry just the right amount. Nice crisp veggies not over cooked.I have read some of the other yelp reviews about their portions and they were not wrong. For the price you pay you get lunch, dinner and maybe possibly lunch the next day. I was totally stund at the amount of food they give me. The only thing is that it only has three tables and some bar stools so you may have to take it to go, but they are so sweet. Always wanting to make sure your food is good and made the way you like it. They always let me know I can add or take away anything. True family food all the way. Oh also you can let them know you like it spicy. Really spicy and they will hook you up. Like my Ding Dong of a husband who got this hook up and well lets just say he didn't have any problems with sinuses for awhile after that. The whole time whinning "Its so spicy" and "my face, it burns". Cry baby.

Awesome tasting food! Actually tastes homemade. It's a little hole in the wall place but don't be quick to judge it! Roast pork is great with the crunchy skin. The owner/cook is very friendly and willing to customize a dish to your liking even if it's not on the menu. He made me duck rice noodle soup and stir fried veggies with shrimp and tofu. The servings are huge as well! I keep coming back! It's on Exit 2 on the I-110.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
