My husband was craving for some fresh oysters with rather reasonable price compare to what he had in Chicago so we made a random stop here on the way to Tampa. He liked it since I'm not a big fan so I would say the oysters were good. Interestingly I really enjoyed my fettuccine although I'm totally not a pasta person. Too bad I forgot to take a picture, it was soooooo rich, creamy, flavorful. Should have asked for the recipe LOL (like they would share with me).

The best onion rings ever. 3/8" cut with a flaky yet stiff crust. I believe I tasted a hint of cinnamon! Seriously good. Seafood platter was ample with 6 nice sized oysters, 10 medium fried shrimp, a catfish filet (I think the menu said trout?) A bread but tasty stuffed crab, fries and jalapeño hushpuppies. All was fried up perfectly. Wife had the 12 oz. ribeye med rare. It was juicy, cooked to the proper temp and had a distinctive grill flavor. Definitely choice grade and not select. Gumbo was so so, a bit thick for me..could have been a canned base. Good seafood flavor though. Creme Brulet was outstanding but small. Service could have not been better. Prompt, accurate, and above all else, thoughtful. This is the best restaurant in Diamondhead.

Great grilled oysters, great views, good friendly staff, outside deck overlooking Bay St Louis. Inexpensive unique bar appetizers

Not a very good experience. Invited two clients here for lunch last Tuesday. Restaurant was 1/3 full and it took an hour to get our food. Ordered the fried red snapper. Was something out of a box... Was NOT fresh or cooked properly... Was dry and mealy. Bill was $55 for 3 of us. Not bad, but the food was horrible... Beware...

Stopped for lunch and had a great experience. The fried scarlet snapper was excellent and the service was friendly. I will definitely be back to try their dinner menu.

I agree with the other reviews...food and service was great. Had crab dinner and enjoyed it! Watched the sunset from the veranda over the bayou. The dinner rolls fresh, soup hand made and salad full of fresh greens.

This place has a great selection of food and the owner really cares about pleasing his customers. Love the crawfish boils they have during the summer and everything upstairs is yummy too. They actually have a great fettuccine Alfredo which is unexpected. Ahi tuna steak was cooked perfectly.

Meh. Don't expect too much and you won't be disappointed. Hubby asked for ahi tuna rare - it was medium well. Chicken strips were fried dark brown. But others enjoyed their oysters and flounder. And the bread pudding was quite good. Go when the sun is up to enjoy the wonderful view.

Located where Hulas used to be the food is great. The quality has definitely increased. The service is excellent and it really looks like this will be a successful restaurant. Most of the food ranges from 10-35 dollars but it is well worth the money. They have royal reds steamed and served with a side of melted butter. The steaks are hand cut certified angus beef(CHOICE). The portion sizes are great on the fresh fish. The pastas are highly customizable and cooked al dente. During lunch time or dinner the sandwiches are among some of the best you can find. The peppersteak is a slow cooked brisket soo tender it doesn't get caught in your teeth.(Which is something I really hate about brisket) This place has some of the best steamed food our there since the steamer. There have been a great amount of steamer copy cats but this place was the closest to the overall quality and flavor of the steamer. Everything is done in old bay seasoning with sides of melted butter. It is also the only place that serves the giant king crab legs. Not the king the same size as snow crab but the big ones. On Sundays they still follow the same procedure that hulas followed, however, the food is far greater. They server crawfish by the pound and also do hotdogs and hamburgers on a charcoal grill. This place is very affordable and delicious fixings from their sandwiches to their steaks and king crab. I've eaten on the Mississippi gulf coast and this is a locally owned business. This has to be one of the very few restaurants on the Mississippi gulf coast that hasn't sold out and gone completely corporate. Come get you some grub and try it out. There is something on the menu for everyone.
