What an amazing find, this place is wonderful and is run by real down home Mississippi friendly folks. This is the place for a seriously good burger - trust me you will not be disappointed. Drinks are served in frozen mason jars, which the best way to enjoy iced sweet tea. I have not made it for breakfast, yet! the place is intimate (small) but comfortable, Ryan and Abe are "on it" and work well together in a small area putting out tasty food quickly - it really is something to behold. Don't forget to get a fresh baked chocolate chip cookie on your way out!

Passing salesperson from Memphis and saw their eclectic sign decided to stop. Just missed their famous breakfast by 10 mins but that was A-okay as their lunch is almost amazing. Instantly greeted like family by the son and father combo along with their lovey lady of the house. Very small and quaint interior with lots of family photos, signed pics from film stars, license plates and international money all around. Bar set-up and watch the cooks do their magic. It was hard to decided between their award winning burger or the finger licking good bbq dishes. I went with the bacon cheeseburger and fry. You could tell all the ingredients were fresh and the blend of burger, seasoning and sauce homemade. I left with a homemade out of the oven chocolate chip cookie with a to-go sweet tea for under $10 wow!! Definitely a must stop :)

I really get the appeal of a place like this. It's a fun experience to go to a local, divey place and be squished in next to complete strangers, eating a greasy and satisfying from-scratch biscuit or burger. I had to knock off a star for cleanliness though. I know for a fact that food tastes better from a griddle that holds decades worth of ancient grease, but it couldn't hurt to wipe off the quarter inch layer of oil and dust accumulating on the lamps hanging over the bar (and everyone's meal). Just a friendly suggestion...that being said, I am certainly returning. It would just be nice to see those lamps glistening after a good Lysol treatment.

Cute place, rude service, burnt food. The biscuit was good.

Stopped in here on the way to Arkansas. Abe and his son Ryan were cooking. Had some burgers that were great and the fries were out of this world! Ended it all with some homemade chocolate chip cookies! We'd never been here before but were instantly made to feel like regulars. I don't believe Abe has ever met a stranger and he certainly won't treat you as one. We bought some of the secret recipe spices to go. I plan to stop here anytime I'm traveling thru. Just a good old fashioned good time with good people who make good food.

If you like friendly, hole in the wall, stop here--right on the main drag thru town. Thumbs up on bbq, ribeye sandwich, and hamburger.

Wonderfully friendly family owned joint. Get the ribeye sandwich and fries. Wash it down with tea in an ice cold mason jar and finish it all off with a homemade chocolate chip cookie. This place is a diamond n the rough.

We have been to this place many of times. We drive from Florence AL just to eat here...

Have you ever walked into a place to eat and been greeted by a waitress with an angry glare so harsh, it made you uneasy about the food and you haven't even sat down yet? Have you ever gotten such a sourpuss, crotchety, lazy-ass waitress that wouldn't come back and refill your drink or ask you if you need anything? Have you had to scoot your empty glass to the teetering edge of the table to catch her eye, in hopes of a refill, just to have her walk by with such gusto the wake behind her sucked your napkin off the table? At that point I'm sure you'd be shaking and rattling the ice, louder and louder until you are drawing angry looks from the other patrons and that just throws you into a daydream thought of walking up to her and grabbing her by the throat and squeezing just hard enough to make her left eye pop out and blood come from one ear, wait! What the hell? Where am I? Who am I? What happened? Sorry, I had flashbacks of so many bad dining experiences. Any way, you will NOT get that from any of the three people working here. They all act like it is the first day of school, happy as hell to see you walk in, committed to keeping you happy as soon as you walk in. Rapid fire questions like "sweet tea?" "Hamburger or cheeseburger?" "Fries for both of you or one large order of fries to share?" "You want a fresh and hot chocolate chip cookie?" Your Drink glass stays topped off. You are hard pressed to find people in the food service industry that maintain an upbeat, positive and happy presence about them after just a year or more in the business. These people have been doing this for decades and they act like it is their hobby, not their job. Now keep in mind that it is a 'greasy spoon' with decades of grease to show for it. There are car tags, family pictures, patron family pictures, autographed pictures of local celebrities, political fellows and such. But, my eyes locked onto one very important picture frame, like a heat-seeking missile, as soon as I walked in....the food service document with a big letter A, which told me they passed their food service inspection. The cheeseburger had two very thin patties of meat and the juices started to flow immediately after I lifted it from the paper it was served on. The fries were great, cut in house with a wall mounted industrial strength fry cutter. The prices are very budget friendly.

Stopped here while on the road to Huntsville, Alabama. First of all, as another Yelp reviewer mentioned, the GPS route is not right. We almost flew right by it. It's on route 72. Once we got there, I was surprised how tiny this place is, but it has a ton of character and the people are all super friendly. There is only one counter and it was packed with patrons, but they made room for us when we arrived. We were immediately greeted and quickly received our food. Prices are very reasonable. The BEST part of my breakfast for me was by far the biscuits! They were freakin amazing!!! So soft moist and fluffy! And they give you two! I couldn't finish, so they gave me wax paper to wrap up my biscuits. Normally I wouldn't take biscuits home but these were too good to waste! If we ever happen to find ourselves driving through Corinth, MS, again, we would return!

So found this place on Yelp as we were passing thru Corinth, MS. Reviews were good and looked at the menu and said why not. Was not disappointed in the least. Had the prime rib sandwich and the hot dog fully loaded with fries and tea. This is the real deal - very limited seating at the counter but the food and service are outstanding. This is a must stop place - next time need to come back for breakfast. Five Stars for sure!

Great breakfast spot for traditional breakfasts with eggs, sausage, country ham, tenderloin, biscuits- always consistent, always good. Bacon and biscuits are very good. Coffee is served in real china mugs and the food on real plates - no styrofoam and plastic with breakfast in this place - they deserve a 40-year rebate from the landfill. Real hamburgers (no slugburgers here) and fries are equally popular at lunchtime along with their ribeye sandwich. A true crossroads in Corinth - rub elbows with professionals, business people, factory workers. There are few pretensions in this place, just people serious about eating, talking, and some catching up on the soaps on the TV during lunch. Great place to catch up on anything going on in town - just ask Abe or Terri, odds are they will already have heard about it and can give you the real low-down. Have been eating here 44 years and recommend it highly. Family members have been known to ship their food on regular occasions to distant places for people who miss Terri's biscuits.

If you drive down Hwy 72 from Memphis and get to the new Cracker Barrel in Corinth, keep on going another 1/2 mile and turn into Abe's Grill. This is a Breakfast to remember! Country Ham and Red Eye and Sawmill Gravy dances on your taste buds. BUT it is Terri's Biscuits that really put Cracker Barrel and all others to shame. Get there before 10:30 am though. The wonderful Whitfield Family just makes the visit all the more special. DO NOT leave without a Big Homemade Chocolate Chip Cookie either! Even if you don't have room for it....you will later! Lunch is highlighted by their Ribeye Sandwich and Fresh Cut French Fries. It's all local fresh food too.

STEAK SANDWICH for lunch is unreal. I drive nearly 2 hours just to eat lunch at Abe's. My favorite place to stop on the way to Tunica. Staff is amazing also.

Abes is one of Corinth's must stops! GREAT food, GREAT people, and a GREAT little place to eat! Sure seating is limited its just a long bar with about 15 seats inside. But TRUST me its fantastic and the service is great. YES, you want fries with that!

This is a MUST for anyone going to Corinth. I loved this joint. It's so cool and laid back and just plain real. First of all, the place is decorated in thousands of license plates from top to bottom, inside and out. It looks like a junkyard from the outside but that didn't deter us! We went inside and you can barely move once in-- its just a snackbar counter with a few stools-- maybe 12 people total can fit inside? Once we sat down, a huge menu was before us on the wall. The owner, Abe, didn't even ask what we wanted to order. Just sweetly barked out "What meat you want?" followed by "how you want your eggs?" and that's how it's done here, yes ma'am! I got the bacon with scrambled eggs, then all plates come with homemade biscuits and REAL southern gravy. This place is great-- totally kitschy and memorable. The food was good but extremely greasy. I loved every minute of my time here and highly recommend it. It's totally worth it.

I had breakfast here, and it was amazing. The service was great and they were always checking up to make sure everything was to your liking. Very greasy spoon, but it is worth it. I had the fried pork with easy over eggs with good ol' biscuits in gravy! I was craving this breakfast all day. So good. They accept cards.

This is a slice of Americana that is sadly disappearing from most places in this country..classic stuff here and great people serving it up..and don't follow these yelp directions..they are right on the highway as you get into town on the right

A slice of old country food and the atmosphere that bred it. But trust me, you're talking greasy spoon. Come in and enjoy yourself, but have no pretensions. Now getting past that, they make no apologies and are forthright and to the point...you know, you see, what and who you're getting. Great breakfast, but I didn't care for the tenderloin being breaded...prefer it straight. So I'd opt for biscuits or bologna or sausage or some such and blot them with a napkin before you stick them on your biscuit. Very pleasant people and the locals are open and friendly. If you're a person who only keeps to yourself in restaurants, don't come to the South and plop down into a tiny diner like this. Great experience, overall. First time I've seen chocolate gravy on a menu, though of course I'd heard of it for years. And the corndogs (dipdogs), fries, burgers, and the like are home-made. Got to try them next time. I'd have graded it higher, but I was underwhelmed by my fave, tenderloin, and I don't like to spend that much time blotting. Counter service, BTW. Too cool...and great atmosphere. You have to wonder what the crowd down the road at IHOP or Waffle House or whatever it was were THINKING.
