I sat at the bar and got waited in immediately. Great customer service I might add. She was friendly too. They open at 5 pm. They also have bands that play here usually on the weekends. They have country and rock bands to play here. As far as dining is concerned, they have wooden tables and wooden chairs to go along with them. So no soft seats. As far as food is concerned. They have salads, steaks, hamburgers, and all sorts of sandwiches.

This is my local bar. It is a great place to go sit at the bar, talk to friendly locals (bartenders and regulars), not overcrowded and not too noisy. Great service, welcoming atmosphere. The wings here are amazing. I order bbq wings myself, but the buffalo (hot) and also very good. Thursday night is all you can eat wings for $15, but I usually only get a dozen (for $9) bc that's all I need. The burgers are also VERY good, and huge compared to most burger places in town. For $5 (on a Wednesday) it's a steal. Food specials are great here: Monday - $5 chicken wrap & fries Tuesday - $5 crawfish po boy & fries; $10 ribeye sandwich (delicious!) Wednesday - $5 burger & fries Thursday - $15 all you can eat wings The music here is also usually very good for bar bands. Thursday nights they have a band and all you can drink bud light cans for $5-10 (depends on the band). That is the most crowded the bar gets by far, filled with locals and college students. They will usually have another band on one of the other wknd nights (Fri or Sat, sometimes both). Bands are usually local, they anywhere from Memphis to New Orleans. Not big names but they are good for bar bands playing cover songs.

Good good good food! Awesome service, so friendly and accommodating. Good for a date night or special occasion as it isn't cheap but definitely work it!

I've been kind of nervous about reviewing the P.O. cause I don't want people in my town to hate me if it goes bad, but all I'm being is honest. I don't hate the place. So here goes. Their menu seems to be the same thing only served in different ways. They have pasta, and then sandwiches, wraps, and salads. So you can get crawfish - served on either a sandwich, wrap, salad, or pasta. It's kind of repetitive. I got the gumbo. Anytime I go somewhere that serves gumbo I try it because I'm crazy about gumbo. This was a mistake because theirs was disgusting. They had sausage chunks that tasted like they went down to the gas station and got that fifty cent spicy sausage and threw that off in there. Also, there was no okra in there. Who doesn't put okra in the gumbo? Rookie move. Especially when the name of your establishment is PICKLED OKRA. Overall, I would go back here again because the menu is so large that I'm sure I would find something I would like. I got calamari as an appetizer and it was okay. You can't mess up calamari. I just wouldn't recommend the gumbo to anyone. Also, I come here pretty frequently for drinks with my friends and they make good mixed drinks.

I think the Pickled Okra is okay. It can be smoky. The food is decent and they have a lot of choices. I actually thought the gumbo was not horrible although I did think the lack of okra was bizarre! They include a big okra pickle with certain things (such as salads) and it's quite delicious.
