Not open during the hours posted and previous business hours. theyve taken down the hours posting from their door making visiting here NOT worth the effort. Another typical lazy delta business that likes to taunt customers by not being open when they say they will be open.

We waited almost 10 minutes at our table before anyone even glanced our direction, and they only did so after I made a comment to my husband about leaving and going somewhere else. Evidently, during the week, they are short staffed between 5 & 6 which coincidentally coincides with the hour most families want dinner... Our visit was no exception, they were packed & only had one waitress on the floor. I grew up eating cheese sticks & BBQ from this place, so it's what I was looking forward to and was excited hubs had agreed we could give them another shot after a 6 month boycott over similar issues. Appetizers arrived cheese sticks & tamales.... tamales turned out to be so spicy none of us could eat them so the basket of cheese sticks went fast with our 2 boys eating most of them before we could get a taste. But, we couldn't order more because it was 25 minutes before we saw any staff again, and at that point it was a cook bringing us cold food. We asked him to clear the appetizer dishes so we would have room for everything and he acted irritated, but complied with the request. That was it as far as service. We sat with rock hard, cold food and empty drinks long enough for the boys to eat because they were "starving." I took hubs hamburger steak to the bar & asked if they could warm it up... We didn't see it again until everyone at the table was done eating. I found it amusing that they were prompt about cashing us out. In all fairness, they didn't charge us for the hamburger steak because the girl that returned it to us agreed it was one of the most disgusting things she'd ever seen. It gets 2 stars because despite it being cold, the cheese sticks & BBQ sandwich were exactly what I was craving. But, I doubt we will return anytime soon.

Do not let the name fool you this is not a grocery store. I ate here two separate times both being decent. The service staff are nice and the inside is interesting with fun decor. Not sure exactly what is up with the ceiling tee shirts, forgot to ask. Had the fried pickles which were OK but not the best I've had. I ended up getting the BBQ pork which was kind of "ehh" crispy dry with the sauce being its only saving grace. The fried okra and beer was good though. A friend had the BBQ ribs which were on the same lines as my BBQ. The other friend had the catfish and ribs. He said that the fish was great and the ribs were so-so. The second time there I iordered the crawfish tails and grilled catfish which was pretty good and kinda of saved my experience here.

We were very disappointed.... The service was terrible and the food was slow to arrive. I'm not sure what I was thinking eating ribs, but I'm paying for it now at 4am. I'll leave out the details on that... I'll never eat there again. Had some friends that had the same experience!!!

Left at 55 mins with still no food. We won't be back.

If you want bbq, tamales, or a terrific mixed drink this is the establishment to get it. The menu is large and varied - they offer several different po boys and many main dishes. My favorite appetizer is the bbq nachos. Nachos smothered with pulled pork, bbq sauce, and jalapeno peppers. And if you didn't get enough bbq sauce on your order - don't worry. There is a bottle of bbq sauce sitting on each table. Squeeze to your heart's content! On Saturday nights don't be surprised to find the place packed and a local blues band on the stage. The bartenders at this place make a mean bloody mary.

This place has a nice setup - roomy with plenty of TVs and a couple of pool tables. Also a good selection of imported beers. The food was so-so. For an appetizer I had fried pickles, which were very tasty. For an entree I had the grilled catfish, which had a weird consistency. The chocolate cake didnt sound very interesting but was pretty good. I did not notice the smoke like a previous reviewer, but I went their on a Tuesday

The first time I walked in here, there was only one other table I could see dining. It's a large hall and it was Tequila Tuesday so half off on all Tequila drinks. When we asked if we could get margaritas, they were out.. so we asked what other tequila drinks they would recommend and the server said he had no idea, because he didn't drink tequila. Okayyy so we decided we didn't need drinks (what?) and tried to order some food. I had read some reviews before coming so I asked how long it would take for our sandwiches and our reply was 25-30 minutes so we left. The second time I came, I was with a group on a scheduled bonding outing, so basically I didn't have a choice. I tried ordering two beers off the extensive beer list before I realized it was very outdated, but they did have Harp, with a different label mind you, but still they had it. They have TVs and a stage with live music on some weekends as well as at least one pool table. Their bar unfortunately had no taps though, or at least that's what they told us. Odd that a bar&grill wouldn't have any beers on tap. It still took about 30 minutes before everyone got their food and the fried crawfish po'boy wasn't bad, but super salty. The Louisiana chips were actual potato chips with heaps of cheese, salad, ground beef, and crawfish sauce on top. The fried corn fritters were just like I thought they would be and the fried pickles weren't bad. The fried mojos (jalapenos) were awesome, but after about 10 I couldn't eat anymore. They are spicy, but it was more because I was just eating too many fried things in one meal. The same server came by a few times to ask if we needed anything which was nice, but overall $19 for dine-in Harp (Ireland), corn fritters, and a crawfish po'boy could be better.

Certainly not a grocery store. Cool atmosphere, fairly authentic food. Worth stopping in

This is a cute place and it's a Cleveland establishment. The food I've had there has just been okay, but they have a varied menu and I'll likely try it again sometime. It has a good atmosphere and I think live music (though not when I've been). The service I got was friendly but not very attentive, and one of the other waitresses appeared to be stressed out and in the weeds big time even though there were very few other people there. My biggest complaint, though, is that although it wasn't noticeable in the restaurant (thank goodness!), my clothes and hair smelled of cigarettes when I got home. Yuck!

Fun kitschy hang out in Cleveland. Food was quite good (I had the catfish sandwich and shared baskets of fried pickles and fried mushrooms). Fried pickles are the best invention ever! The catfish was pretty good and non-greasy. Service was friendly and efficient. Main downside was that (like every place in Mississippi) they allow smoking...smelled like an ash tray on the way out.

Fun place, great atmosphere, great service, great fried pickles & fried craw fish! Fun place to go with a group to eat or watch a game (lots of TVs). Went on the recommendation of yelp & the hotel front desk. Food was just OK, but this is still definitely one of the best places to go in Cleveland!

It's a fairly decent restaurant. It has a rustic appeal that is more outmoded than it is charming. But it's decent enough for casual dining. I usually order the sweet potato fries, and they are quite delicious. The only food related problem I've ever had was that my server kept giving me an unclean cup. Luckily, he remedied the situation but was overly apologetic.

I am now addicted to their burgers - the best in Cleveland IMO. I will get a picture up here next week... I usually bite into it too quickly when it comes out. I still also do the corn fritters and fried jalapeños. They have had a $2 beer special for the past few weeks too, so I've beer drinking Abita Andygator bottles for very cheap :-)

1 1/2 hours later and im still wating on my burger and fries.. Where is the half star at???????

Airport Grocery has a rustic atmosphere. It offers pool tables, full bar, log home like dining and even outside seating for groups and parties. Im finally impressed with a restaurant here in Cleveland. Once you walk in it has sort of a "cabin" like fill to it. As you sit at a booth there is a light centered over the table that is made from an old time antique metal bucket. There is also an old car that has been restored and is a 1927 Ford Model T Huckster. There is a bar area to the left that has two TVs. There is also a tv in the dining area where we sat at a booth. I really like this restaurant as we will have to make it a regular place to eat at. As far as customer service is concerned, it doesn't get any better. Why? We had two waitresses to wait on my family of four. The food was great. I got a bar b q sandwich and it was wet and juicy. Two in my party got a catfish hoagie. The other, got a airport grocery burger. All 4 of us was happy and said they would come back.

I went here due to reasonable reviews and as it is within stumbling distance of the Hampton Inn. The atmosphere and decor are great in a old time grass roots bar kinda way. The waitress was super friendly and attentive. I had to go native and try the fried catfish. I have to admit it was done to perfection, tender and flakey but the coating was way too salty for my taste. The portion was huge with accompanying fries, gravy and not sure why there was toast with it but nicely done. The beer selection is quite good and I think I have fallen in love with everything from the Lazy Magnolia Brewery. I would come back again and try out other items on the menu.

The food is good. However It's too dark inside, we could not read the menu with out the flash light on our phones. An elderly gentleman came in from the blaring sun, his eyes had not adjusted to the darkness and tripped over the stage area near the side door. Luckily his knee was the only scratch on him. Also the computers were frozen so the server took my debit card and went from one computer to another at least 4 times to swipe it. I'm waiting on my bank to post debits to see exactly how many times I was charged for our dinner.

I'll start with the positives: great atmosphere, good music, interesting history. Pecan pie was decent, very small sliver served (half of which was slipping off the edge of the plate) Now the negatives: ribs looked and tasted like they had been reheated from another business day...they were completely dry, impossible to chew/cut into. Service was SLOW, which was inexcusable as we were 2 of 4 folks in the restaurant when we visited. Fries were cold.

Though I award this place 2 stars, you have to realize that since you're in the Delta, this is likely a 4 star place by the locals. I've been coming to this area for many years, and am always frustrated by the low quality of dining offerings, service, etc. and this is no exception. Noodlebean, the first to review this place, says it well. There is a slowness in service, delivery, attitude, that can only be the norm here in the Delta, so get used to it. My BBQ was so dry, and boringly bland, so it needed some sauce...any kind was fine. My wife had some fish or salad, and it too was minimlly acceptable. The bar seems like it would be active on the weekends. Bottom line: I will NOT return

I ordered the bar-b-que sandwich based on the waitress' recommendation and homemade onion rings. I ordered a side of ranch dressing as dip for the rings. It was nice to know that they served RC Cola. The meat was good. The sandwich came with sauce on it. I would have liked a little spicier sauce. The ranch dressing was homemade, and the onion rings were good. Service was fair. I got a booth and there were holes in the seat. The bun was toasted on the sandwich. Overall, not bad!

IF you drive an hour + for tamales....call ahead ask verify they have some. Burgers were cold and it took almost an hour to get our food at 2 pm on a Friday afternoon. ..

Went here for dinner on a Monday Night and the service was terrible. Very SLOW waitress. Good thing I wasn't in a hurry. She did say they were short in the kitchen but not sure why she was so slow. Sat at the table for 10 minutes before anyone came to the table. I had the fried catfish plate and it was just ok. Salad just ok. I probably won't come back. Too many good places in the Delta to eat.

Great atmosphere. Cool looking place and super nice staff. Found the menu a little small and pricey. That said, the food was awesome. Would definitely return if I'm back in town.
