Simple southern style restaurant with all the true southerners diet staples. Awesome sweet tea, fried catfish, fried shrimp, hush puppies and salad bar. The only complaint is that the salad bar could be bigger. Other than that it's a great place for families and true southern "fried" hospitality!

In true southern style, almost everything at the buffet is fried. Don't get me wrong--I enjoy fried food every once in a while, but I would love to see more variety and innovative cooking at some of these places! Salty, fried food that is the same at every restaurant gets really old really quick. The quality of the food was decent, but it was so much grease that I didn't eat enough to justify the high price. The banana pudding was great, though. Enough to bump it up to 2.5 stars.

Average! That is all. $62 + tip for a family of four IF you drink water. Kids are 11 and up by the way. Fish was ok shrimp was not. Vegetables were so so. Clientele was....... Buffet people. Tables r close together so we had the pleasure of dining with a large old man with his shirt unbuttoned two buttons too many. Just skip it unless you're bored.

I am giving two stars because as a buffet, the food seemed fresh for what it was. We were there with a big party as a combination family-reunion and a 90th birthday dinner for my grandmother. My aunt booked a room so we could enjoy visiting without feeling rushed. When I entered the room, I was hit by the strong smell of skunk. We didn't complain, but I know the staff had to have noticed it. The main issue I would like to address is the service. Our reservation was for 4, but a few of our people were running late. At about 4:20 a girl came around and took our drink order. We hadn't received those drinks yet when a woman I assume is the manager came in and loudly asked where the rest of our party was. She announced in a rude way that they had 8 more parties coming in and we needed to hurry. Not only did this make everyone in our party uncomfortable, but it set a bad tone for the rest of our dinner. They even brought the checks before dessert! In my opinion, she over-booked, and was looking for a way out. If she makes a habit of booking party rooms for an hour, she needs to sincerely think again. I have never been treated that way in a restaurant, and I won't be going back to let it happen again.

I can't believe there is no review! This place is amazing! Everything on the buffet is fresh and cooked to perfection. If you have never been you are missing out. Fried catfish fillets, whole catfish, baked fish, chicken, steak, shrimp, and fried green tomatoes are just a few of the fantastic items you can choose from. It costs about $16 per person (including drink) and is totally worth it.

Absolutely delicious! Left feeling stuffed! Great buffet and friendly service. $13.95+tax and every penny is well spent!
