4 out of 5 YEASSEEAAHH's is probably a bit generous but it seems like they're trying... The bartender was very nice and attentive and made up for some of the faults of the place. Not sure why they don't give you chips and salsa when you sit down but maybe they're not really trying to be an authentic Mexican joint? They seemed understaffed, disorganized and in need of some professional help. Not a lost cause but a work in progress that I hope does well. Nachos were ok but light on everything but chips. We asked for jalapeños and only got a few :( Tacos were pretty good. I'd recommend the Voodoo tacos. The Karaoke was painful to listen to at times but seemed to draw in a crowd. Kinda like Creed in the 90's. B'YEAASSSEEEAAAHHHHH!!!!!

Stopped in for lunch, place looked nice, clean and new. Saw duck tacos on the menu assumed it was going to be a scratch kitchen. Ordered the cheese dip and it tasted like Velveeta. We also ordered the burrito, steak was good but the burrito was covered in this generic cheese dip stuff and then there was more inside of it. The guacamole looked liked it was squeezed out of a bottle. Over all nothing was really good. I wouldn't give them a second chance. Most likely they won't last too much longer unless they spend some money on food products that aren't canned. Maybe toss a little cilantro on something to flavor it up

3 stars for good tasting food and friendly service but not giving grilled wings when ordered when only one other table there, brings the rating down. More details below... In town for a long weekend and wanted a change of scenery from the casinos so took a short walk up the street and found this little bar. Came in on a Saturday pre-evening before the place started getting busy; only about a half dozen people were there. Ordered a couple of beers...have a huge chalkboard next to the bar listing all of their draft beers (probably about 30 of them, including some locals and classics). Also tried a couple of appetizers. 10 buffalo wings for $10. Buffalo sauce was great and wing meat was cooked just right. Ordered grilled wings but they came out fried (not sure if they actually grill or if it was because we were there early and there was only one cook). Also had the Louisiana empanada. Very tasty. Pretty small, so I would suggest two if you are really hungry and having appetizers as a meal like us, otherwise perfect size before a meal. Bartender was very attentive and friendly. Owner came in to prepare for what we can only assume would be a busy Saturday night and was also very friendly and attentive. Signs said they have live music Friday and Saturday nights. Seems like a place that has a cool local vibe; with locals included as we learned when we joined a pirate and his wench at the bar when we arrived. I kid, but he did have an eyepatch.

Nice clean bar with ICE cold A/C & 24 beer selections. Probably one of the better beer selections in Biloxi with friendly staff. I recommend.

Stopped in while waiting for a table across the street. Great beer selection for the area, the fish/shrimp tacos were good and the bartender was very friendly. The slaw was a bit spicy, but awesome. We'll be back.

Hit it up on a Friday night. Lot's of options in the area but I see this place carving out a niche. While I was there however, I found either the band itself or the overall acoustics to be absolutely terrible. Most likely I'll return to check it out again.

Good tacos. Got the voodoo & the fish. They were out of duck. Bummer. PBR on tap. Fair prices. Good place to keep in your back pocket. They also have a stage for bands plus a full bar. I'll be back.

TERRIBLE service. There were only 3 tables on the balcony and none inside when we sat down. We waited 15 minutes before even getting greeted and another 10 min for our beers we ordered. We ordered our food and waited AN HOUR before we asked where our food was, while the table next to us who came in after us had already eaten and finished their meal. I will say, one of the he waitresses was nice an apologetic. Once we got our food, it was ok-not worth the $11.00 for the taco salad that hardly had any chicken on it. Should have waited the 35 minutes for a table next door at the half shell oyster house.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
