After eating at several other local eateries serving similar food I would say this place is just middle of the road. We had 2 po-boys, loaded fried and some debris. The po-boys were just average at best. As well the loaded fries were just okay. The one thing I do recomned was the debris. These hand cut fries with the roast beef were really really good. I would go back here just for this dish alone. I guess it is needless to say I will be trying this place again the next time I am in Biloxi. Maybe I will find something that kicks this up to a 4 star.

We came here with a group of six and were able to find a great seat on the patio. The staff was helpful in making sure we had enough seats for everyone. The weather was perfect for sitting outside on the covered patio. We started with the crawfish nachos that were suggested to us. I would give them 3 stars, they were good, but I don't know if I would have to get them again. It was an easy split for our group though and you do get a pretty large portion. I just wasn't blown away and found them to be a bit bland. For my meal I got the chicken sandwich with fried jalapenos and loved it, the fried jalapeños were the star of the show. The batter was super crispy and seasoned well. I also tasted a fried shrimp and that was really good too. Can't go wrong with fried seafood! The potato salad that came on the side tasted homemade and did not disappoint. The service was excellent as they were serving a full house that day and several large groups. Despite all of that, there wasn't a long wait time for our food and drinks were always refilled. They also kindly split our checks for us. I will definitely be back to explore more of their menu and lovely patio.

Casual mostly outdoor atmosphere and excellent food. Just plain good. Boiled crawfish is particularly good when in season, the roast beef po-boy is my favorite.

Before we came to Boloxi my husband checked out restaurants we had never been to. This was the last one we tried before we had to go back home. It is open late which is good for us. We ordered a soft shell crab po boy and a fried oyster po boy. The waitress split them up so we each had one half of each. The roll was crispy on the outside and soft inside. They were both very good. I ordered coleslaw for my side and my husband had a side salad. Both were good. Next time we will definitely order the crawfish nachos. The service was excellent and everyone was very friendly.

Got the oyster po'boy and the mahi mahi wrap. The bread and oysters tasted fresh. The mahi mahi tasted sweet, and was wrapped in a spinach tortilla. The service was fast and friendly. Had to sit outside because the inside was too smoky. The garage doors were closed today, but can just imagine how much hip this place would be once they open those doors.

Very easy to find from Highway 90, plenty of places to park. Pass up the chicken nachos and get the focaccia club sandwich. The roast beef poboy was subpar. Friendly service, great atmosphere.

I came here on a Tuesday and met up with a coworker. Apparently this place used to be an actual gas station back in the day, and now it pumps out food. It's certainly not the biggest of places, so I wouldn't recommend taking a large group. As I sat at the bar and waited for my co worker, I was checking the place out. I noticed this is a cheers type of place. The people sitting next to me chatted up the bartender and talked about old stories...other people would walk in, talk to people they knew then sit down. At the advice of the bartender we order the seafood combo basket. He warned us that it was big and predicted that we wouldn't finish it all. He was right, it was a lot of food. Between the fried oysters, shrimp and fries, this thing was good. Prices weren't bad either, so I would recommend checking this place out.

This place use to be a Old Gas Station. Pretty cool atmosphere. Tables out side, tables inside and a small bar. This place is not to big but can handle a crowd. Good beer selection at the bar. Food is pretty good as well. A good selection of food at semi reasonable prices. I recommend it.

Good food that is moderately priced. Seating and parking is limited. Cool atmosphere with a wide variety on the menu.

  • Tomas F.

Not that good. Oysters over priced. Grilled oysters were the worst I ever had. What else can be said. Oh the beer was cold. Go for the beer.

Get you a shrimp poboy elsewhere!!!! Take out is fast, sit down service could speed it up. My husband waited 45min for a shrimp poboy, and I called in 4 shrimp poboys to go that were ready in 20min. The poboys were okay, but there are certainly better places to go on the Coast for a shrimp poboy. Prices are fine, but on a scale of 1-5 (1 being lowest) for shrimp poboys in Biloxi, Fillin Station definitely gets a 1. Nice outside area to sit and relax, but no view to be had except of a funeral home.

Went there July 21, 2015! Got the oyster po boy, menu said it was 14.95, which I thought was high, but got it anyway! It was just Ok- could've had more oysters, less bread, and some sauce!! It had only lettuce!! On a scale from 1-5, I'd give it a 2. I also got a side dish of gumbo, waitress said it came WITH MEAL, as a side! Got the bill and it was 17.95 For the sandwich! I was livid!! Said it was an upcharge she FORGOT TO TELL ME!! Said she was sorry!!! So am I, and won't be back!! Really sad because I like to support local business, but this was. Rip off!!! RUN!!!

I really wanted to like the Filling Station; it's got a great location, and pretty hip atmosphere ( I would not say 'dive bar' by any means as another reviewer put). I've eaten @ the FS three times, wishing to find what people I know see in it's offerings. I ain't found it, 'cause I don't think it exists. The worst offender I got was a medium rare burger on a cold bun, that was a mush of a patty, with an odd texture - like cat food. It's not that it wasn't cooked well but that the patty seemed maybe prepackaged or at the least defrosted. The waitress claimed they were made fresh that day when I asked, but I know what a fresh patty's texture is like and it is not mush. I also know a med. rare burger yields more easily than well, so I am not ignorant and misplacing criticism... the patty was the culprit. Go across the street to Zepplin's for some pizza would be my advice.

Finally!!! Downtown Biloxi needed a place like this. It screams for more!!! Whoever you are who is responsible for making this happen CHEERS to you! I checked out the reviews on Yelp. Liked what I read about the crawfish nachos. Not only was this cheesy, gooey, crawfish laden but it was giant! We ordered it to share, ha! I ate most of it. Others ordered the club and burgers. I had a bite of everything. More like I insisted on having a bite. Everything was delish! The service was wonderful. What they did with the inside of an old fillin station was charming. Only thing I didn't like are the tv's. It's not always necessary to have these things on when a game isn't on. Totally not necessary!!!! Loved it regardless.

cool spot in an old gas station beers on tap indoor and outdoor seating pretty small menu but has a legit oyster po boy

Great place for a quick lunch. Service is decent and better Han most places for the area. Price is decent and food quantity is good. Try the Biloxi blues shredded chicken sandwich it is amazing. Chicken tenders are nice and hand cut strips of chicken breast. The crawfish sandwich is the best thing on the menu in my opinion. Don't judge this place till you try the food.

  • Dave W.

Ok for starters I don't go here for the food. I go because they have ice cold PBR on tap & I can sit outside with my dog. The servers are awesome. They always bring blue a big dish of ice water & say hello to him. ( they always seem to remember his name & not mine). Anyway I have had a few things off the menu. The fish wrap thing is ok but the crawfish nachos were dreadful. Actually sent them back. Again, I don't come for the food. Great place to kick back on my Sunday day off & have a couple with blue dog. Just remember I warned you about the food. They received a C rating by the health board.

It was gross. I'm not afraid of trying new places including what would be considered a hole in the wall joint. I ordered loaded fries, from the description on their menu it sounded delicious I even had them add chicken to my fries, my husband ordered Crawfish nachos. They definitely where not stingy with the food I just wish they would of been delicious as well. My fries had no flavor and my chicken didn't either. My husband's nachos had the regular monterey cheese, who in the world figures nachos are made with regular cheese and not Nacho Cheese you would figure thats a no brainer I'll tell you we were very disappointed.. This could be all due to needing a new cook.

Crawfish nachos !!! The sauce is to die for! Service left some to be desired . Old gas station turned into a full service restaurant. Lots of craft beer choices!

After much deliberation, I decided on the Ole Fillin Station for dinner... at 10pm. I was worried this was going to be a crowded, dark, smoky bar... because I can get sick pretty quick around smoke unless I'm drinking - then I'm sick and just don't care! I was presently surprised by the well-lit room. There's a nice little patio, and the inside has a bar with an operable garage door. There were smokers, but the garage door was open, so thankfully the place was not filled with smoke! Apparently my guy's great-grandfather owned this place back when it was a gas station! Our side salads came with fresh diced tomatoes, bacon, and fresh cheese! I got a shrimp poboy and my guy ordered the gumbo and hamburger poboy. We heartily approve of all three!

  • Greg S.

There was nothing particularly good about it but there was nothing particularly bad about it. Both the food and and especially the service was just mediocre. The fries were a little cold and the meat was a little tough but both edible. Overall the place was average at best and the prices were a little high. There are much better places in the area to eat from what I can tell that are far above mediocre.

Amazing red fish, great gumbo. A pleasant surprise on our road trip along the coast. The cafe is setup super simple but they serve exceptional tasting food as good as I've had in fine dining establishments.

  • Maribel M.

Small location but cute little place. I wasn't sure what to order and the waitress was helpful with a few suggestions. I had the Roast Beef Sandwich with a side salad. The side salad had bacon to my delight. The Roast Beef was tender but didn't quite have enough flavor. Still I'll be back eventually to try it again. I was there just before the lunch rush and they did fill up quickly during that time.

Great service! We came in here when Tarrantinos was closed on a Monday. The crayfish were not as good (but that's a high standard) but everything was tasty and the service was excellent. Great atmosphere too. Based on that and location I'd definitely come back.

  • Tim J.

I ate here twice while on the coast this weekend. Food was good. Service was pretty slow. Overall no complaints other than the time it took to get the food on the first trip. (45 minutes for one roast beef Po boy)

One of my favorite places to get Nachos! Crawfish Nachos at that! If your visiting Biloxi, MS this is a great place to stop to get the best Crawfish Nachos on the coast hands down! They have many other things such as gumbo, oysters, sandwiches, chicken, etc that are great! Everyone here is always welcoming and helpful with menu choices. When in season the crawfish boils are something to be on the lookout for as well!

This is a friendly local bar with food. The food is great and you better be hungry when you come because I have always had a lot more than I can eat. Love the place and I hit it when I am down in Biloxi around lunch or supper. Debris Fries - Great and a lot of food Gumbo - Not had any here that was bad yet. Loaded Fries - Great and where served hot. The Nachos (Chicken) - Much much better than the ones at Margaritaville SUCK. These put those to shame. Again more than I could eat. Red Beans and Rice - Very tasty and rightly seasoned.

Menu was normal fare. Guess it maybe be a good place to grab a drink. Service was friendly.

Service was horrible but it wasn't as bad as the food. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with caramelized onions. The burger patty was burnt so badly, I could barely bite through it. Not only was the burger burnt, but the bacon and the "caramelized" onions as well. How do you even do that and how can you even let that out of the kitchen? One of our group's food came out first while the rest of us waited for awhile. She was done eating by the time our food came out. Also, the fries were reheated fries. Not fresh cooked at all. I only took 3 bites of my burger before I had to stop. No amount of Heinz 57 could save it. Worst food ever. I even saw them bring out a plate of burnt crawfish nachos. How the hell do you burn nachos!?!?! I didn't even get my bowl of gumbo I ordered, but I consider that a save by divine intervention at this point. Its a shame because when my wife and I first went there over a year ago the service and food were excellent. What the hell happened? PS - NOT a place for families. Its a hipster dive bar now.

The only reason I'm giving two stars is because of our server. She was very nice and helpful. Other than that the place is dirty and the food was borderline terrible. Everything came horribly fried with dripping grease. No one came to greet us which made the situation awkward and we sat ourselves. We were met with stares that made myself and my family uncomfortable. I gave the place the benefit of the doubt but was unsatisfied completely. Don't bring your kids there.

  • USM C.

Great food. If give it a five star if they did not allow smoking. Small town cafe atmosphere. If no seats are available, just sit with and make new friends. The food is unbelievable. You'll see my smiling face here the next time I make it back to Biloxi.

  • Kate L.

Very very bad service and the food was worse. Hamburgers were burnt. Didn't get half of my order and the waitress wasn't too concerned.

I'm saving a star because I barely ate here at a fast lunch (but it was great). As an out of town traveler I enjoy trying to find a place where the chairs aren't packed with the triple pleated pants of insurance salesman in bad loafers. Well with this place I found just what I wanted. A locals spot where conversation is easy and the word tourist isn't a curse word (as long as you don't act like one). By my second night back they had my drinks ready for my friend and me before we sat down. It is a great bar. The food seemed to make every other table happy and the staff could not be friendly. Go here.

Great food! One of the best burgers I have ever had. The food was great and the service was great. It looks like a great place to go back and have some drinks as well. I highly recommend.

The portions are massive. crawfish nachos are delicious, as well as the burgers. Get Chili-cheese fries if you're feeling adventurous. The BBQ chicken sandwich was fine. but the potato salad is amazing.

  • Rob L.

The burger was off the charts! Asked for gravy and cheese on the fries, and they hit a home run there too! We will be back. My son had wings, they were as good as anywhere. Good waitress too!

  • V M.

Called in an order for the crawfish nachos their known for and to my surprise got some kind of chicken nacho and a whole lot of jalapeños when I got home. Nachos were stale also. Fed this concoction to the trashcan.. What a waste of time and money. Should have checked my order before I left? Well, I would have but I put faith in the establishment since "Crawfish Nachos" was written on the box. Poor organization/ Waiter and cook miscommunication cost them a customer. Suggest you go elsewhere for food.

    (1)
  • Ernie W.

The waitresses were nice...that's about it. The gumbo was bad, the oysters were small and we waited over an hour for terrible chicken nachos. I tried this place over 2 years ago and it was great, but something changes for the worst. I don't recommend.

My family of five stopped by here on a Sunday evening, and it was a great way to start off our vacation. They seemed to be running out of a lot of the food but we finally ended up ordering the 2 lb craw dad special and the soft shell crab pasta. Both were really tasty, and our waitress was super nice the whole evening !(:

Great Food in a neat setting allot of locals go here and they know to stay away from the Beach Restaurants that trap the tourists I enjoy the po boys And Debris fries and great drinks too just up the road from Hard Rock give it a try it's almost a sure thing!

This place is fantastic!!! From the outside....until you are greeted. When you are greeted. If you are greeted. Then, it goes downhill rapidly. First off, the service is a negative star. Once you sit down, you have just landed in the service twilight zone. Have something you can wave at the waitress handy - or throw, cause yelling or jumping up and down t'aint gonna work for ya. Secondly, I literally had an oyster that was the size of a penny. If you get the oysters, and I recommend against it, get a dozen for each person at the table, cause if you pile all them together you can get two crackers worth. I was careful with the cocktail sauce so that I might still see my oyster each go around. The shrimp was pea size. And completely un-edible. The place is dirty. The tables are old, the chairs are old, and the patio, it's old. The concept is there, it's an old gas station (did you figure out that by the name?) By no means is this a family restaraunt. I'm actually gathering it's more of a casino industry spot. Leave the kiddies at home if you dare try this place.

All you can eat crawfish on the weekends? Fantastic. I love the flights of craft beer for $10. What a great place. The patio is cool and the bar is a great place. An old gas station converted to a restaurant. I got crawfish nachos and couldn't believe how good they were. Great place.

Shrimp Po boys are awesome and crammed with shrimp, their homemade remoulade type sauce is to die for... And bring friends, because you must try the crawfish nachos! The servers are great and If it is nice... sit outside!

One of the best meals I had while spending a few days at the Hard Rock (just a short walk across the street). The boiled crawfish platter was hot and spicy, the crawfish nachos savory, and the sweet tea even sweeter. Service was a little slow, but the servers were too nice to let it ruin your meal. Sunday tip: Come well after noon to catch the outdoor crawfish boil. They were still setting up when we got there at lunch time, but from the massive vat of spices and box of live crawfish, it looks like it would've been amazing. Tip for the restaurant: Please fix the address on your website and Google Maps - it says 629 Howard Ave, not 692. Would've been a shame if we had given up on finding it, which we almost did.

The Fillin' Station was exactly what me & my friends were looking for after we had just arrived to the beach following an 8hr car ride. We sat outside at the large tables and were quickly greeted by our (hilarious & attentive) server. Beers & cocktails came quick. We all ordered Po Boys (shrimp, oyster, & crawfish) and they were excellent! My three friends had never experienced a "Po Boy" and I'm so glad they had their first experience there.

it used to be a gas station, someone creative made it into a dive, hole in the wall looking bar/foodie place. we were so happy with the food!!! ordered oysters, they were fresh, and detail cleaned. gumbo was sooooo yummy and tasty. we even ordered chicken wings, which was fresh too with awesome tasty buffalo sauce all over it. please do not let me forget about their "fries", they call it "fries" on the menu, but you will get an entire potato cut up into huge wedges freshly fried, spiced, and then put on your plate!!!! it was the best potato wedges ever had!!! one person at the bar, two other people running around serving, just like many other places in Biloxi, they are all ran by very few people, so the wait for your food may be longer than a local Red Lobster, but please be patient, as the people are so nice and down to earth, with the delicious food coming to your way. we will definitely be back next time!!!

Open on Christmas Eve, when so many places in Biloxi were not... they already had points in my book. On top of that, our waitress (Melissa, I think?) was super friendly and fun, which pretty much made our night. Beer selection was not stellar by Houston standards, but pretty darn good by Mississippi standards. We had a half-oyster/half-shrimp po-boy and we tasted the crawfish nachos... everything was fairly standard bar fare (i.e. not exceptional), but tasty. I would happily make a stop again, if passing through.

The Fillin' Station is a pretty good place to sit at metal tables, enjoying the breeze that blows under the old covered gas pump area in this re-purposed gas station. To say that you can have a view of the beach is a stretch. Don't count on that, but an ice cold beer or two will lend some degree of character to the funeral home across the street and the lazy downtown traffic in this area. The seafood gumbo was some of the best I've had in some time, even though it arrived just lukewarm. A short minute in the microwave would not have hurt this dish one bit. It came wit a few small slices of french bread, drenched on both sides with butter. As a struggling dieter, I found it to be pretty tasty. It was butter too, that made my "Biloxi Blues" BBQ chicken sandwich a guilty treat. The chicken pieces, which were a little dry, came in a sweet and savory BBQ sauce and topped with fried jalapenos (from a bottle). The whole production came on a sesame hamburger roll which was, again, sopping with butter. The chicken and roll were already good, but all that butter just put it over the top. If you have butter issues, you might wish to ask the cook to hold the gold. I was not shy about stealing a handful of shrimp from my companion's basket. It was what most people call "popcorn shrimp"... very small, but fresh and tasty, and there was a lot of it. Along with the shrimp came the customary half-piece of corn on the cob. These are always overcooked and this one was too. You can improve yours by drenching it in... butter! Cold beer, Plastic baskets, a somewhat potty-mouthed crowd, and if you're lucky, a warm breeze on a hot day all make this bar/restaurant a lazy lunch. Gourmet eating it is not, but I would go back... once I lose another twenty pounds.

This place is pretty much located in the heart of downtown Biloxi. It's something of a classy dive joint. The inside is very small but there's outside seating which is nice in the warmer months. There's a large projection screen that allows you to watch games while sitting outside. These are nice touches, but at its heart, it really is a dive. You are ordering bar food. Greasy, greasy bar food. And while the food is decent, it's not the "wow this greasy stuff tastes so amazing when you're drunk" good that would make greasy bar food acceptable. Overall this place certainly aids in reviving downtown Biloxi and is a fun place to hang out for drinks or for a quick lunch.

My wife and I visited the Fillin Station around 7pm on Tuesday evening. They had a full house of locals, service personnel, and a few tourists like us. The atmosphere is open, airy, laid back and local. There's no pretentious wait staff or cookie cutter menu. Our waiter, Brooke, made us feel at home right away. The menu consists mainly of local seafood, po' boys, and oysters. We ordered a couple of craft beers, a dozen Oysters Rockefeller, and a Roast Beef po' boy. Our beer came out right away. The oysters and po'boy about 20 minutes later. The oysters were great...hot and flavorful. The same with the po' boy. We left full and satisfied. If you're looking for good food and local flavor I'd highly recommend the Fillin Station.

We were passing thru Biloxi in July 2013 and needed some lunch. Yelp had us going to a place that was totally dead, dark and smelled like smoke. Across the street is this old filling station converted to a restaurant. There seems to be some life (ie. people eating there) so we decide to give it a try. I had a bbq chicken sandwich with fried jalapenos. Man was it good. Then to my credit I substituted fried pickles for the French fries. I was in fried food heaven. I don't remember what my wife ordered and at this point I don't care. I would highly recommend this place for food and drinks. Side note: I convinced myself the old black bus across the street was the one from the movie Biloxi Blues. It really isn't, but it added to the appeal of the location.

Wow...just got back from our second visit. Some notes to share with my Yelpdawgs: 1) although not busy, the place was filthy. Bring some hand sanitizer 2) the louder and more chatty you are with your server, dictates how much service you get. If you sit there quietly, you may be forgotten. Saw it happen 3) the service ain't great. Just know this. 4) probably not a great place for the kiddies. People be drunk, yo. Lots of F bombs flyin around. Honestly, food was super greasy and just okay. Probably not gonna be back soon.

Although the food was decent, we found the wait for take out was extremely long. We return to the restaurant more than three times after being told each time the food would be ready soon. Admittedly, they were packed with guests. My children, for whom we stopped, rated the food no more than two stars.

I found this place with the aid of the Yelp app for my Windows Phone 7. My husband and I are new to town and wanted something quick so we decided to give it a try. From other reviews I got the impression that it was a decent place to eat with good food and an interesting "divey" atmosphere due to being in a restored filling station. However, upon arriving I noticed the menus were sticky, and the paper was torn in several places. The table wasn't very clean and the service was a little on the slow side despite not having many other people there. That being said, the food was good and in large portions. We ordered the "Homemade Asian Spring Rolls" which were very good, the "Main Street Burger" which my husband enjoyed and finally the "Crawfish basket." The basket was positively overflowing and the breading was flavorful. My only legit complaint would be the servers. There was one in particular that was loudly explaining to another her experience with a customer that had continually asked her to make a drink despite the server not being a bartender. I can understand frustration with customers but the rest of the clientele don't need to hear every single word and expletive in detail. Overall, good food and decent service but I don't know if I would go back myself.

The fourth star is mostly for the ambiance and nice service...I can't speak much on the food as all we had were some oysters and margaritas (which were a little too sweet but still did the trick). Great outside space. Was in town to teach at a dance convention and we went here after day 2...it was relaxing and quaint and everything us city folk wanted Biloxi to be! I do hope to see ya'll again soon :)

I give this 5 stars for several reasons. Excellent service, great food (loved the crawfish nachos), great beer, good prices and great atmosphere. It feels like a local joint, but us out-of-towners felt 100% welcome. I hate chain restaurants/bars, so I loved this place for its unique atmosphere. There was a great variety of tap beers at a great price. We will definitely be back.

Went here after hearing about it a couple times from pals. Showed up for a "late lunch, early dinner" time and found a good amount of folks already there. It has a great divey atmosphere complete with "locals". The food is fantastic! I'm a bit of a roast beef po-boy snob and this one makes top 5! Portions are enormous and the food is downright tasty! They have a full bar an a good selection of draft and bottle beer. So yeah, we will be back!

Great local hang out with excellent food. It's pricey (our dinner for 3 was $93) though.

Heard about this place from a friend so headed that way for a little grub before a show. I had a Main Street bacon cheese burger that was great although it was over cooked. The fries were hand cut and larger than life. My wife had a craw fish poboy that was dressed and pressed and was amazing as well. The atmosphere was great with a few tables outside as well as 10 or so inside. The best place to have a cold beer and listen to some music be it Cd's or a live band is outside with the cool breeze blowing off the gulf with some great friends.

I actually checked this place out because of YELP. The concept is different --- looks like an old gas station / service station converted to restaurant (hence the name). I'm visiting the area so I wanted some good southern food. I got the red beans and rice, and my friend got the seafood gumbo. The wait staff was cool with bringing us extra bowls so we could share. We asked the waitress what she thought about the beans and gumbo and she really talked it up. I appreciate her enthusiasm. Usually its a good sign when the wait staff is excited about the food. I could tell she was genuine and not giving us a line. I actually felt guilty telling her we didn't care for the red beans or the gumbo. I was actually hoping she wouldn't ask. Both dishes were BLAND. I tried to doctor it up with the available salt and pepper but that didn't work. I actually like Popeye's red beans and rice better than the Fillin Station. I was hoping to find a more authentic savory dish from a locally owned restaurant. I also got the sweet tea --- something not served in the midwest and northeast. And the tea was barely sweet and watered down. We also ordered the spring rolls as an appetizer. Now these were good! I was very impressed with them because they were homemade along with the sauce. If that Asian sauce was available to purchase I would have bought some. We sat outside because it was a nice day, but they have the garbage sitting right next to the outdoor tables. A draft of wind carried the stench of trash right into our nostrils. Some people were grossed out and left or moved. Fortunately for us, the wind didn't pick up and carry the smell our way until we were done eating. They may want to reconsider where they place there garbage, or if you sit outside, keep that in mind when you choose your seat.

One of the best shrimp poboys you could ever ask for! Grilled oysters are awesome as well.

This was a great find! The atmosphere is very dive-y and the staff is extremely friendly. Our waitress was Tiffany and she was fantastic! Highlights: -casual -reasonable prices -Biloxi Blues Sandwich (SO good!) -private parking lot -fried pickles were the best I've ever had! -they'll give you a refill of your soda in a to-go cup -bartender made my Bloody Mary extra spicy just like I asked!

My step dad, mom, grandma and I went here tonight. I had the Crawfish Basket with Cajun New Potatoes with a bottle of Braq's Root Beer, my mom had a Shrimp Poboy with Steak Fries with a Glass of Ice Water, my dad had a Ham and Cheese Poboy with Potato Salad with a Glass of Ice Water, and my step dad had a small bowl of Gumbo and a Large Bowl of Red Beans and Rice with an Unsweetened Ice Tea. All the food was really good, but the restaurant is also a bar, so on a Friday night it gets really busy and really loud. So if you are with your parents and grandmother who don't really like loud noise and all it's not the best place to go. But the food was amazing, I will definetly go back.

This is in a good location, just off Highway 90 in Biloxi...if you sit outside you can see the harbor and the casino without all the traffic noise! Not many people here, but it was Tuesday afternoon. Our server showed up promptly at our table when we arrived. She was pleasant, friendly and smiling - this is always a good thing! I ordered the Fried Crawfish Po-Boy, I have never had one. I have had fried crawfish before so I decided let's give it a whirl, right!? ! Well, things that make you go "hmmmm...", there was a flavor that I just couldn't figure out??? This was not a good thing, the crawfish were cooked well, not at all rubbery, but that flavor just threw the whole sandwich off. I didn't finish it and I didn't take home the left-over, this was better just left. The fries were interesting, they were huge and the flavor was great, but some were meaty and others were just fried skins...ugh. Vicky decided on the Main Street Burger with Cheese. Well guys, here's what she had to say about that one: "a little disappointed with the cheeseburger, more greasy than what I am used to but tasty...the fries where good...Mic Ultra was great!!!! Jenny joined us this time (WELCOME)! She had the Facaccia Club Sandwich. She says that this sandwich was good and had a great flavor, but was really too greasy. We did really enjoy sitting outside and being able to talk and enjoy the company. So, this is definitely a place that we would come back too and have drinks and maybe just appetizers

The Fillin Station was one of the first places I tried in Biloxi. The service was EXCELLENT. The server we had was super friendly, attentive, and helpful. The food was also great. I tried the nachos, red beans and rice, oysters rockefellers, and seafood gumbo. I'm amazed by the portion sizes here. They are incredible. Among four people, we could barely finish our food.

I found this place searching for a oyster place on yelp ...we ordered a dozen oysters.. They were good.. But surely not the best oysters..i ordered the oyster poboy.. It hit the spot.. My wife ordered the shrimp poboy.. She complained it was a little fishy.. It was fishy.. Overall not a bad experience...the waitress was super nice ...

This was a real hidden gem. I highly recommend coming here. Our server was Ashley, and she was an absolute blast. We had ordered some chips as a starter and she just joined our group like we were old friends. Name calling, poking fun and flat out a blast - She made our trip to this little restaurant one to remember. The food was also really really good. I had ordered the Quesadillia and Red beans and rice - and couldn't even come close to finishing it. I tried - but damn was it hard. The beer was cold, the price was right, and the company was great. We all agreed that this is a must stop every time we go back to Biloxi.

Went back here yesterday to meet an old friend for some beers and to catch up. After a few beers and having had a late lunch I was getting super hungry and decided to get the Crawfish and Pepper Piroux. It's essentially a fried crawfish stuffed poboy with their 'sweet and spicy' sauce and loaded with banana peppers. I got mine without the peppers and when it came out I'm sure I had a mile wide smile on my face. It really reminded me of a Mexican bolillo with a slit in the side and just stuffed with fried crawfish and their sweet and spicy sauce. It comes with a side as well for the super price of $8. My buddy mentioned that mine looked better without the peppers and swept them off. I'm pretty sure that was the most satisfying thing i've eaten all day yesterday. Don't get me wrong, this is no fancy place where everything is a winner but hear me out. The Crawfish and Pepper Piroux is definitely a winner.

Never ever get the shrimp basket. Its a joke. Its was the smallest shrimp I have ever seen. And to top it off, mine came with a brown piece of corn on the cob. Forgot too add , waitress that I had needs to work on her customer services skills.

Not much of a view, but it's a unique place. Many locals come in for happy hour. Crawfish sandwich was excellent. The potatoes were thick cut home-fries and I'd couldn't imagine many finishing the entire plate.

The Fillin' Station is essentially a bar with an expanded menu that ranges from sandwiches to seafood. The service is good, the portions are large, and the quality is on the plus side. But there's a significant problem here: there are only three, four tables and the bar itself inside. Everything else is on the patio, and unless you're a fan of funeral homes and rundown municipal buildings, the view is rather dire. That said, since seating is mostly out doors, if it is hot, you're hot, if it is cold, you're cold, and if it is raining, you're wet. Best visited during pleasant weather.

Not sure why theres so much hate on this place. Theres some pretty good food to be had here. A few buddies and I went during Friday lunch. It wasn't crowded at all. We were served really quickly and the waitress was pretty cool. Everyone seemed to like there food, I would definitely recommend their french fries. My biggest regret was not getting them. The potato salad was great, but the portion of potato salad was a lot smaller than the french fries, and I definitely could have ate more food. We all had Po Boys, and they were all really good. I would definitely come back, at least during the off hours.

Amazing burgers and nachos. My boyfriend and I go there quite often because we want to go somewhere where the food is excellent, the service is great and we do not have to dress up. Casual dress is the norm, and the waitstaff treats their customers great. Love this place. It is a place that everyone should go to to relax and feel pampered.

We are visiting from Michigan, riding our bikes through town, getting hungry, thought we'd stop get a bite to eat at a local eatery. Not a very good choice. Waited forever for our food,it had to be at least 40 minutes min. The waitress seemed to forget us and we were starving! It seemed that people that came after us were getting their food first or at least faster. The food was mediocre. Shrimp po-boy was ok and red beans and rice pretty bland, but ok. Try somewhere else for better service and food.

Ate here for lunch yesterday (Saturday) while in Biloxi for a fun weekend. The service was very friendly and responsive but the food was not good. My friend and I ordered a dozen of the bacon and parmesan oysters to share. The oysters were barely warm so we had to send them back. I think they were baked, not grilled. The parmesan was shredded, not grated, and just got stiff when baked. We also ordered a plate of the Debris Fries to share. The fries were thick cut, which I like. But the "Debris" from the roast beef was beef gravy made with cream of mushroom, I think. Not what I'm used to eating as roast beef debris. It looked like pale and creamy mush on some fries and flavorless. Very disappointing. There were people at the bar and seated at tables and several people ordered burgers or sandwiches, which may be the smarter choice here. Good atmosphere but they were out of the liquor my friend ordered so she had to change her cocktail order. Just disappointing overall and I would not go back nor recommend.

Don't sit outside if you dislike fruit flies, but otherwise, this is a great little place with great food and great prices. We got the shrimp poboy and the club and they were great, as were the fries. They have full bar, lots of beers, but only house-type wines. We loved sitting on the patio with the fruit flies, watching the first Saints preseason game on a projector screen, and hanging out with friends. We weren't made to feel rushed, and indeed, it looked like everybody else there was as comfortable as we were. I only wish they'd had anything with crab on the menu.

The best shrimp po-boys in town! I was on the coast for 5 days and went there TWICE for them. their bread is terrific and the fries are ginormous and yummy as all get-out. Good beer selection, including Lazy Magnolia's Southern Pecan, for which I developed a real fondness. Some terrific historic Biloxi pics on the walls, including some from decades ago when the place really was a filling station. Brad is a great bartender. Get ye to the Fillin' Station now! It's a little slice of heaven in downtown Biloxi.

Nice place and great atmosphere, Open air garage environment. We came here for a light snack and some cocktails. The Bloody Mary is quite spicy. Yum! Had a dozen on the half shell which were excellent. The homemade horseradish sauce was great. We took a bowl of red beans and rice to the house which we ate later. It was exceptional. I'll definitely be back next time in Biloxi.

Three and a half stars, Yelp? I think not. I had a five star experience here, for a number of reasons. First, it was open well after my shift down the road ended at midnight. I could have patronized one of the many fast food places or the Waffle Houses along the coast, but this is a much better choice. At 1 am, the gulf breeze was coming up the street and unlike so much of the coast west of here, downtown Biloxi still has a whiff of urbane at this particular corner. The bar is noisy and crowded, and there was table having a lot of fun next to me, but even so the outside seating was pleasant at this time of night on a summer evening. Second, I had a mahi-mahi wrap with a generous load of fresh fish, pico and veggies, in a spinach wrap was delicious and moist (which made it a little messy but worth the trouble). A potato salad accompaniment was chunky with some real bacon hiding in there for flavor. Third, the service was prompt, friendly, and in this instance much easier on the eyes than the ten hours of wires and computer screens that preceded my visit.

Very eclectic place. Mostly places an to sit outside. The food was delicious. Raw oysters were fresh, cold, and delicious. The main street burger was some of the best beef over ever had. It had a very distinct flavor, and I actually liked it better than the redfish Ponchartrain. The fish was good but the burger was better! The place was packed and service ran a little long but they were super friendly and eager to serve. Will definitely eat here again!

This place is cozy and great for lunch. I was in a party of three and two of us had the hamburger steak lunch special with mashed potatoes and gravy. The other person had the Red Fish Ponchartrain. Both dishes were excellent. I will definitely come back.

This place is so unique. The crawfish nacho though expensive is enough to feed two. Its actually a old gas station and has a old time outdoorsy feel. I can't wait to go back

What once use to be a full service gas station, has now been restored into one of the best spots in Biloxi to grab a bite to eat and a drink to wash it all down. The Fillin Station is one of Biloxi's best casual dining spots. Last I was there, rumor had it that they were in the process of revamping their menu so I'm not sure where they stand on it at the moment. Mainly I come for some fresh raw gulf oysters. They also had some scrumptious crab claws, which were not on the menu at the time, that made me scratch my head in wonder of why they wouldn't be. They were delicious! And what's better to wash down some southern food than a little Abita Andygator, on tap? Ashley, who waited on us a few occasions, had been an awesome server and on top of her game. A good server makes for good experiences. The Fillin' Station is usually open until 3 AM, so if you work at the casino and need a cocktail after work, they serve up one free shift drink, so remember to take advantage of it!
