Oh my god this place.. Where do I begin. Wonderful service (fast and polite), great food (mouth watering just thinking about it), and reasonable prices! This is my go to place for a great sandwich and bubble tea. I'd recommend to anybody and everybody! You've got to try these sandwiches if you haven't already!

A friend from Ocean Springs recommended the Le Bakery for excellent bahn mi sandwiches, breads, pastries, and boba teas. I had the pork and meatball bahn mi and it was like heaven. The freshest bread and veggies, it is making my mouth water just thinking about it. I also got so excited when I saw they had fresh made Banh Bao steamed buns filled with pork. I hadn't had one in years, and it was definitely the best filling of a Bao I have ever had. My husband is coming home from biloxi today and I'm having him stop and get more of both the buns and bahn mi sandwiches to bring home. I will DEFINITELY go back every time I go to biloxi.

Today they get only one star for the crappy customer service and the mean Asian lady that was behind the counter. I ordered my regular, milk tea with coffee jelly. The sweet mom at the front didn't understand my order, so I patiently waited while the other two ladies behind the counter were helping other customers so I could explain to them what I wanted. One of the workers named Kim recognized me and said she would help me as soon as she could. Unfortunately the other Asian lady helped me, and when I asked for a regular milk tea, she told me condescendingly that she didn't know what flavor that was. She then proceeded to point at the menu. This lady was rude, condescending, and acted like she either hated her job or was annoyed at helping other customers. I now know what the other yelpers are talking about when they talk about the rude customer service. I've been fortunate to have other workers take my order the past couple times I've been here. I usually come about once or twice a week, and I bring others with me. Don't think I'll be coming back here anymore, nor will I be recommending this place to my friends on base, or any other people I know. I would hate for my friends to come across that mean Asian lady again. Their customer service killed it for me today. I don't really need refined carbs and diabetes that bad anyway.

This place is great. I can't go on about it enough. Fresh bread. Marinated meats and home made pickled vegetables. Vietnam here I come!!! The bakery was out of this world. I will make this a regular stop. Ok

Awesome ban mi, which are called Vietnamese Po-Boys here on the Gulf. At Le Bakery, this means crusty soft homemade baguette, perfectly seasoned pork, crispy, sweet cold veggies, and just the right touch of fish sauce. This place is a perfect blend of Gulf Coast and Vietnam in this cozy bodega. They are the kind of cooks and bakers and family that you want to support, especially in this part of town which (like a lot of the area) is still reeling from that b**ch Katrina. A great product, great smiles, and oh so decadent sweets. I am a big fan, and when in Biloxi, I make it a point to stop. BUT BEWARE: Get there early. They will run out. Le Bakery has des bonnes noms noms.

Authentic fresh French bread and assorted pastries. Combine these with bubble teas and Vietnamese fare - what a special little place. Highly recommend the bread!!!
(5)Dave W.
Finally !! Real Vietnamese & it's close. Best traditional banh mi around. Can't wait to work my way through the menu. Ok. Let's start with the pros. 1-run by a Vietnamese family. Awesome ! 2- baguette made in house by said Vietnamese family. Tasty fresh just enough crust & soft inside. Really awesome. 3-traditional Vietnamese meats, sausages & pâté for banh mi. Um yes please. 4- friendly people who generally seem happy to see you & hot desert soups. KILLER !!! 5- the price. $ 5 bucks on average for a fresh sandwich. Where can you get a better deal. Ok now the cons. 1- NONE !! Other than being 6.3 miles from my house. Eat here if you want a great bánh mi.
(5)Brian M.
Amazing find. Great bahn mi, bao, and pastries, never tried anything I didn't like. Very reasonable prices.
(5)Jim F.
Bakery is awesomeness. Have heard a lot of positive things about their sandwiches, but we go their for their pastries. They open at 8:30am so you definitely want to get their early so that you have the best selection. Very friendly service good spot to visit for sure
(5)Ken S.
Le Bakery was incredible!!! The sandwiches made a great, filling but not to much. All the bread was still warm from the oven.... So delicious!
(5)Juanita E.
Disclaimer: I have never had any of the sweets here, although other customers rave about the confections and that seems to constitute a majority of their business. What I can attest to is the amazingness of their Vietnamese Poboys! Their bread is the best I've ever had and my mouth is watering just thinking about the yummilicious fillings!
(5)Daniel M.
New favorite place on the coast! Everything is SO fresh and delicious, and way too cheap. I almost feel bad eating such delicious food for so little $. The turnovers are perfect, and you have to try the "desert soup" (some sort of coconut milk, jellies, seaweed, yuca, + other unidentifiable stuff, served hot in a styrofoam cup) sounds/looks weird- tastes amazing. Take home a giant, 3 foot long, fresh baked French loaf for $1 and change.
(5)R W.
This place is so amazing a trip to the gulf could not be complete without a visit! The flavors are without a doubt true to the flavors of Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi. Be sure to order the bahn mi with lemongrass pork and Vietnamese sausage and a yummy yucca cake. Be careful though many of the yummy treats are gone by noon. If you have never been stop reading this post and go check it out! You will not be disappointed.
(5)Jimmie M.
One of our favorite places when we visit the coast. The pastries are great and the bubble tea is to die for. I like the coffee but many flavors are available. Very refreshing on a Hot summer day in Biloxi.
(5)Rhina G.
I don't have a lot of good things to say about food in Mississippi but this is an exception. the pastries are delicious. I wish I had tried other things on the menu but never expected this little hole in the wall to be so delicious. The coconut yuca pie ia a must-have. if I'd known how good it would be, i'd have ordered a dozen to share with others. It's a very humble little place on a strange street and out of the way but worth going to look for. The inside is very plain, but you don't go there for the ambiance. you go there for the food.
(4)Brenda L.
They make there bread fresh everyday. Try the banh mi tit nuong. Very good. Also try the cheesecake. It's the best cheesecake ever!!!
(3)Kay P.
Our go-to place for Vietnamese sandwiches. I like their freshly baked baguette and pickled veggies inside sandwich - combine with any fillings (pâté, Vietnamese sausage, lemongrass pork, soy-tomato tofu, seasoned meatballs...), it is always a solid winner. The staff is friendly and efficient. Service has been quick, even though they can get busy especially during lunch hours. Aside from the popular Bánh mì, among my favorites are coconut yuca pie and steamed pork buns. The smoothies with tapioca pearls (bubbles) are refreshing choice during summer months. They have a vast selection of smoothie flavors, from tried-and-true Strawberry to something like Mung Bean and Durian. Their cakes/ sweets are actually too sweet and plain tasting for my liking but my co-workers love them. I'm getting Bánh mì cravings as I write this...
(5)Steve I.
I love Le Bakery!! I have been here many times when my sister lived in Biloxi for 6 yrs. They have flavored loaves of bread (the jalapeno cheddar is wonderful), bubble teas, vietnamese po-boys (lemongrass pork po-boy is my fave), pastries (it's a bakery duh), filled croissants (get the smoked turkey and cheese croissant), baklava and more. They will also create the perfect cake for you whether if it's for a birthday or your wedding. They made us a cake for my nephew's birthday back in 2009 and it was amazing!! Great people here that work hard at providing tasty morsels for their loyal and adoring customers! I think Le Bakery is second to none on the MS Gulf Coast :)
(5)MS L.
Bahn mi was delicious! Had an almond boba...would not recommend it as it was gritty from the chopped up almonds. Ice cream for the tea was also still frozen. Overall not a good boba experience but the Bahn mi is worth every penny!
(4)Bud P.
first let me say that Biloxi is a culture starved town. If you are not going to a casino there is no reason to go there. This was the only place in town that I found to be worth trying. It is a really interesting bakery and sandwich shop. They had pork pie pastries and they were very good. Cheese danish was also excellent. One thing that was strange was that the only coffee they had was some sludge in the corner with powdered milk. A good bakery knows that coffee is important
(3)Alma P.
Love the food & boba here. Their boba drink cups need some attention though the cap does not fit properly of you get your drink with whip cream. Ham and cheese croissants are a must try! The most original ones that I've ever had.
(4)Victoria H.
"I would walk 500 miles, and I would walk 500 more..." Ok, so I didn't walk 500 miles, but I did walk 5 miles round-trip to satisfy my craving for a French-style Vietnamese Po-Boy. Now that there is dedication! The first time I picked up po-boys from Le Bakery, I was already figuring out when I could go next. I LOVE places like this. Plus, I'm pretty sure I was Asian in a past lifetime. Le Bakery serves up about 18 different combinations of fresh baked bahn mi style sandwiches, but we're in the south so I guess we can call them Vietnamese Po-boys. Eight inches and all at under $5! That's a steal. All fresh ingredients. High quality, low price. If that's not a good enough reason to step in for lunch, then let me go on to tell you how frickin' delicious their sandwiches are! *Thit Nuong Nem Nuong ($4.75) comes with Vietnamese sausage and lemongrass-garlic grilled pork. The two flavors of different meats blending together with each bite is mouthwatering. This po-boy right here will have you hooked. *Coconut Curry Chicken ($3.75) is flavorful enough to stand on it's own without any added soy or hoisin sauces. *Tofu ($3.75) is probably strictly for the tofu lover. If you have never had tofu before, this bahn mi may be a little on the bland side, even though they do use a red spice over the tofu. On to the pastries. Turnovers galore! So many choices can drive a sweet toothed girl insane. How does one choose? Unfortunately for my ass, and fortunately for you, I picked out about 8 different ones within two visits. Now it's all personal preference, but any of the fruit fillings with cream cheese, in comparison to fruit on their own, were much tastier. Without the cream cheese, the turnovers were good, but I couldn't help but compare them to a homemade toaster strudel. They also had unique flavors like Pina Colada and Guava with Cream Cheese. Call me boring, but my favorite was the Blueberry with Cream Cheese. Then, when I saw Yuca Coconut Pie, I just had to try one. I mean I like Yuca as a starch with my steak, and I love me some coconut, but together as a dessert? Well I couldn't pass up trying something new. As it turns out, well...it tastes like yuca, with a hint of coconut. Who would of thought? In addition, they have fresh baked loafs of bread, croissants, cookies, and King Cake. Getting in earlier for desserts is better, seeing as closer to the end of they day they do sell out of some things from locals who know how good they are. Chocolate croissant lover? Get there early. Oh, and let's not forget the bubble tea! They have over 70 flavors to choose from. I went with Taro because it's one of my faves, and it was everything a kid could hope for. I noticed they also had frozen Vietnamese style coffee, which I'll have to give a try next time. Did I mention how friendly, helpful, and informative the staff was? Well, now I did. From the outside, Le Bakery doesn't look all that impressive, I agree they need a lil' revamping, but go on in, you won't be disappointed! (And if in the very rare chance you aren't satisfied, just ship me your sandwich, I'll be happy to eat it! PM me for address.)

I love how the bread and desserts here are so wonderful. Staff is friendly and attentive. Food and drinks are delicious! I
(5)Justin H.
A local favorite of ours for years!! This place is great for not only the pastries but the banh mi. The staff is always super friendly and they always seem to remember not only us but our orders. A great lunch spot with very reasonable prices. If you enjoy Vietnamese Poboys or are on the lookout for great breads, pastries, or cakes then you must try this place!!
(5)Tom K.
I'll start by sharing what this little bakery is not... This is not a traditional bakery. It's a small family run Vietnamese Bakery with all "in house" baked pastries. The apple turnovers are amazing, the almond rolls are the best! Oh, since I love their almond rolls so much, forget the previous comment... This does not have a formal dining area. But if you enjoy authentic ethnic Vietnamese foods, this gem is a great place for lunch or smoothie. If you are seeking mainly Vietnamese entrees, such as pho, cha gio, salt & pepper soft shell crab, and the hundreds of other great delicious entrees, you will not find those delights here... That being said, this is a great stop for a light Vietnamese Po'Boy! They specialize in baked goods being Le Bakery!
(5)Cyn B.
While visiting my mom for Thanksgiving, she turned me on to Le Bakery. Apparently the chocolate filled croissants are suppose to be the BOMB! She said that they open at 8:30 and there's always a line. Well, there were people waiting. Sadly, they didn't have any of the croissants we wanted. So, I went for the ham & cheese filled croissant. The croissant was moist, tender and flaky with a slight crunch... just how it's suppose to be. The only part I didn't like about it was the cheese. It was American. Not very tasty. It should be made with Gruyere or Swiss. Most of the others were there for Le Bakery's bread. The wall says it all!! I've always thought that the combination of French and Vietnamese cuisine was the best of two completely different worlds. Next time I'm in town, I will def come back and try one of their Vietnamese sandwiches.
(4)Jennifer R.
Smells amazing the moment you walk in. Friendly service and very spacious. There are many options to choose from. The chocolate almond coconut was amazing. They have other snacks besides pasties so its a good stop anytime of the day!!
(4)Nicole B.
Love this place! Great bread, good bubble tea, and fantastic desserts! The people are nice, go early because what they have out is what they have available.
(5)Sean C.
One of my favorite restaurants on the MS gulf coast. I love Bahn Mi and have eaten just about everything that Le Bakery has to offer...as well as their fresh baked breads and pastries. I honestly think this is THE hidden gem of the coast and recommend it to everyone.
(5)James B.
Be sure and eat here. The aroma is wonderful and the cases are full of delicious pastries. Enjoy bánh mi sandwiches and gourd sodas. Very tasty.
(5)Richard E.
This is a must eat here place! I don't normally post reviews because I don't care, however I am compelled to tell you to eat here so they can become international and I won't have to drive 500 miles 3Xs a year to get a "Kim blast" (better than *bucks) and a random viet poboy. The place is a tightly ran ship, highly talented and disciplined close knit family owned and operated. Best part is the low light living room in the back so you can literally feel like you're at home and put your feet up and watch tv and be waited on like it's your home.
(5)Lan D.
I grew up on these types of Vietnamese sandwiches, so when I moved to Biloxi, I had an implicit desire to avoid eating here at all costs. I would come in and buy other things - chips, drinks, baked goods, coffee - but I was never compelled to buy a sandwich. My coworkers however, apparently love the place, and would often suggest this place for group lunches. I could only decline so many times, so eventually came in to eat here. I was very pleasantly surprised. The Vietnamese sandwiches here (banh mi) are extremely good, on par with and arguably even better than Vietnamese sandwiches you might find in say Houston or California. I actually couldn't believe it. There's a little something extra they add that just makes the sandwich so flavorful. I'd give the place five stars except that the layout is a bit awkward so it's not the best place to sit and have your meal, especially with a group. Also, this is a family run business - a mother and her daughters. The mother is a sweetheart and one of the daughters is quite pleasant. It is obvious though that the other daughter feels she has better things to do with her time, and so is quite short with customers. Although she's never been short to me, I don't appreciate seeing her snark directed at others. Overall though, this place is a Biloxi institution.
(4)Lex L.
I love the Vietnamese sweets here! I got the chè 3 mau and the bánh u which was good! I also ordered some Vietnamese sandwiches, great flavors!
(4)Courtney B.
Wow! With a name like Le Bakery I wasn't expecting amazing and creative po-boys. There is a pretty awesome lunch menu at Le Bakery. The woman who was working was so nice and helpful. She was all smiles and explained all the topping and different po-boys to us. Everything tasted fantastic. They also have bubble tea which is awesome and always gets bonus points from me! I didn't try any of the baked goods on this trip. I can't wait to go back sample some pastries, get another bubble tea and try another po-boy.
(5)Cynthia D.
What?! Vietnamese sandwiches and Boba all in one place IN BILOXI OF ALL PLACES?! Why hasn't anyone tell me about this sooner? I miss having bahn mi so readily available in the Bay Area. Too bad I discovered this place right before I left to go to my next command. It's even more rare here (Groton, CT). T_T What I can remember from this place was they had very fresh fruit smoothies, cute and delicious looking cakes (my friend said the german chocolate was awesome), and they had some some pork buns, sticky rice desserts sitting on the counter. They also sold a lot of fresh bread, that was usually all gone by the time I got done with work. Parking looks limited from the front (about 4 spaces) but there an empty lot next to it O=
(4)Sarah F.
Small town bakery with amazing pastries. Parking is lacking but the filled croissants are worth it. Awesome when hot out of the oven and perfectly flakey.
(4)Vy N.
Sooo good! Behind their food display window were baguettes that were long and wide, and thick. The lengthiest baguettes I have ever seen! The service was very kind, especially if you speak Vietnamese. The food is also reasonably priced. I miss Mississippi because I miss Le Bakery. Ga Roti: Delicioso. The chicken was tastefully flavorful and tender. The bread was warm and had a nice bread texture. Banh Khoai Mi (Cassava Coconut Vietnamese Cake ): Made just like Banh Khoai Mi should be made. Coconutty and moist with nicely brown edges. Verdict: 4.7 out of 5.0
(5)Traye L.
I don't give a lot of places a 5 star review, but this place deserves it. My wife and I stopped in today and it was amazing. Everything looks so good and it smells wonderful. I got a ham and cheese Croissant and cream filled pastry. My wife got the chocolate filled Croissant and raspberry pastry. Also got pecan tarts and pecan baklava. Being from the coast I have had my fare share of Croissants. These are without a doubt THE best I have ever had. We bought ours around 930 and they were still warm. The prices are fair so you won't break the bank for quality. Highly recommend checking them out.
(5)Ian R.
Amazingly good Vietnamese sandwiches! And at the most expensive being $4 it's the best deal in town. Try the Durian & Lychee bubble smoothie for a treat!
(5)Jason A.
This place is a true gem in MS. Not only is the food amazing, the people are incredibly helpful, and the prices just can't be beat. The lemongrass garlic pork and Vietnamese sausage and the curry chicken do not disappoint!
(5)Cathy H.
Came here a few weeks ago and decided to grab a quick bite to eat on our way to AL. Before coming here I decided to see what all of the users on yelp had to say. The bread was good, however I did not care too much for the sandwiches...I ordered the ga roti banh mi and my bf ordered the xi mai.... not anything close to what I would normally have on my sandwich.
(2)Erin H.
Delicious! A waft of fresh baked goodness meets your senses upon entering. Mmmm had the chicken curry po'boy on a fresh baked baguette... absolutely mouth watering! A large selection of bubble tea and vietnamese desserts as well. Very friendly owner!
(5)Rosie T.
Oh what a wonderful hidden gem. The cherry cream cheese pastries were a big hit. The breads were so good. The chocolate bavarian cream cold pastry was so so SO good. A bonus was a variety pack of fruit flavored gums available for purchase. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Several locals were eating while I went and they made some wonderful suggestions. Chalk one up for the local ladies. Swing by if you are ever in Biloxi. You'll love it.
(4)Hortence K.
This little bakery is conveniently located a block from Hwy 90 but it's amazing. Not only is the food great but the service, prices, and setting are great, too.Their bread (which you can buy, bakery-style) is AMAZING. They even have party bread bowls you can order in the shape of a crab or alligator! They have a brisk lunch business but don't forget the name--Le Bakery--this place has the BEST cakes west of Anderson's Bakery in Pascagoula. But be sure to order well in advance--they are so busy!
(4)Angela D.
Le Bakery makes the best french bread I've ever had. Also the best coconut yucca pies which are anything but "yucka". Like Jesse M recommends, go early or you'll be disappointed. I love the red light that flashes when hot bread is coming out of the oven! The smell is intoxicating. And the artwork on the side of the building is pretty neato. :)
(5)Jesse M.
Excellent little bakery in downtown Biloxi. I've known about Le Bakery for several years, but rarely make it to downtown Biloxi for a visit. It's well worth the trip if you get the chance. In addition to the various breads and pastries, they also offer a selection of Vietnamese poboys. All are served on the bakery's terrific, crusty french bread and loaded down with an assortment of slightly-pickled vegetables. The char sui (roast pork) is particularly good, and what I usually order. A po-boy runs under five dollars, and makes quite a large lunch. If you get there earlier enough, my favorite treat are the bao, steamed buns filled with pork or other ingredients. If you wait till the afternoon, they're usually gone, so get there early. The bakery also provides what is probably the best bread on the coast, particularly their French bread. Again, get there early or you risk missing out on the bread.
(4)Tyler N.
Nice little place with great Boba and Vietnamese banh mi, freshly bakes pastries and french bread.
(5)Jane S.
Le Bakery makes the best banh mi I have ever had. Seriously, the meats are all so well marinated and seasoned, and the cilantro is always completely fresh. The daikon is pickled just right and everything comes together for a smashing banh mi that will have you coming back as often as you can. Not to mention the great selection of sweet pastries and breads--all at a price so affordable I feel almost guilty paying so little! Great service, great atmosphere. Love this place!
(5)Letty L.
Yummy! Definitely a must go when in Biloxi. Po'boys are made to order on freshly baked French bread and over stuff with goodness. You must try the Coconut Curry Chicken Po'boy. They have over 70 different flavors of bubble tea. My personal favorite is the frozen Vietnamese coffee. Their turnovers and desserts are Devine! Staff is super friendly and will guide you through the menu. You gotta go.
(5)Maximilian P.
I loved the "vietnamese-style po-boy" I got at Le Bakery when I visited my grandparents in Biloxi this Spring... it's almost as if my favorite delicious and affordable little sandwich shop from San Francisco followed me here on my vacation! Highly recommended.
