I come for the music, but I stay for the cheap drinks and decent bar food. I haven't had mind-blowing food here, but its standard for a place that stays open til 1am and has live music. I will say, however, their fried mushrooms are fan-freakin-tastic! They aren't standard button fried 'shrooms, but long sliced portobellas that are deep-fried. SO SO good. I've been known to buy everyone's drinks at Maggie Malone's b/c its so affordable, then I look like the greatest friend ever! I still come out ahead even w/ the gas money I spend to haul my ass out here. Waitresses are usually nice....not super fast, but nice.

Food was average. Not poor, not great. Potato skins undercooked, under seasoned. Loaded nachos had VERY little meat. French dip was spot on as was the Buffalo chicken sandwich. The food took well over 30 minutes to arrive for a party of 11. We were the only food ordering table in the place. 12 or so people at the bar. Server was friendly, slow on refills. We were a large party and she was great with separate checks. All in all - this visit would cause me to return.

Love the food. Drinks are reasonably priced. Hate the fact that smoking is everywhere in the bar and eating area. When the bands play, extremely loud and overpowering. If You like loud smoky noisy this is for you otherwise stay away.

MMM...MMM...We had the peel and eat shrimp, excellent. Buffalo Chx sand, more than enough goodness. Steak (not sure which one but it was a pound for $10). the person at our table who ate it said it was delish! I think everyone that worked on Tuesday night was related. Great sports bar and it looked like there was some kind of special each night.

Went to Maggie Malone's for happy hour and The Rose Bowl. Beer prices were good and the wings with the signature sauce were excellent. I will go back.

Didn't eat food.. Had drinks, which were reasonably priced, and watched a band. Tried to watch the hockey game, but the tv's showing it were very small.

They call themselfs an irish pub. The most irish thing about this place is the way they serve a drink. They have no problem with cold glases and serving mostly liquer in my mixed drink. The have dollar bottle necks on mondays AFTER happy hour ends which is great! The food portains are generous and the place is always full. Alittle smokey. Band on the weekends. Its not bad. A great spot to start a evening off for something casual.
