I had read several unflattering reviews of this bakery, but I like to give my own two-cents worth of actual experience. There were plenty of items to choose from, including cookies, bars, and various types of fresh bread! The strawberry shortcake tasted exactly like its namesake! The whipped cream was light and fluffy and cupcake itself had the texture of a shortcake too! It was gone in 60 seconds! I also had the Elvis, which I'm sure you can guess the ingredients of. It was very flavorful, but too rich for me to finish. I also had a delicious peanut butter cookie! It was well done and crunchy, just like I like them! They just opened this year, so they need to work on their layout and décor to make it more inviting! A more definite color scheme, a couple of tables and chairs, or a bar to sit at would be nice. Prices are reasonable, but parking is limited! I'll be back to try the mint cupcakes!

OUT OF BUSINESS NOW I'd seen this place on Main Street Wentzville for months, but it wasn't open. I was very excited to drive past one day and finally see an open sign. I stopped in to check out the bakery, the inside still looks unfinished and rough. There is no where to sit and eat your treats, just a check out area and 2 display coolers. They charge $2.50 per cupcake which seemed a bit pricy to me for the small size, but hey I was wiling to give it a try. I ordered a carrot cake cupcake and a maple bacon cupcake. Now, carrot cake is my favorite and this was a total disappointment for me. It was very dry, bland, and had way too much icing on it. Definitely more icing than cupcake. I hoped the maple bacon would win me over.. But alas, it wasn't that great either. The bacon was chewy and extra greasy, and again just way too much icing. All in all in, I simply wasn't impressed and I doubt I will go back. I was really looking forward to having a good local bakery in town, but I'll be amazed if they stay in business with the way their current operation is being run. I hate to leave a 2 star review, but it was just a big let down.

I ordered a birthday cake for my son and i never heard from them. I called 7 times, left messages with two different staff members, and sent multiple facebook messages over a three week period and still heard nothing. Probably a sign that this business is not reliable. I only have one star because it wouldn't let me give no stars.

Their chocolate chip cookies are thick chewy and soft. Absolutely delicious! The oatmeal cream pie was so good! The oatmeal cookie was chewy and it is filled with LOTS of delicious cream cheese frosting. The only think that kept this review from five stars was that nothing in true bakery had prices. However, it was their grand opening and things were crazy!!

Went to the grand opening today before noon and it was already packed! I noticed the decor right away, the floor is covered in pennies, too cool! There were plenty of workers behind the baked goods counter who were very pleasant and more than happy to describe each item so I knew what to get. The dude who got my goodies for me put them in a nice box and walked around to personally hand it to me, I then went to the checkout counter where there were a couple of people in front of me and some more goodies, including this delicious chocolate bark stuff that had a sweet and salty taste, YUM!!!!! The owners (Kimberly, the chef and I assume her husband) were the ones ringing people out and were incredibly nice. He apologized for the wait and answered some questions I asked. Very pleased because everything I got today was baked fresh this morning, woo-hoo! I got three different cupcakes total- vanilla, apple with a creamy frosting and topped with pecans, and strawberry shortcake. I was not impressed with the vanilla because it was dry and quite frankly reminded me of a box mix my aunt would make. The strawberry shortcake was soft and light on the taste, I liked it a lot. My favorite was definitely the apple cupcake, OMG! SO MUCH YUMMMY! My mom bought a honey nut bar and let me try a bite, kicking myself for not getting a bunch of those because it was pretty good, it reminded me a bit of pecan pie but without the pie crust. For my 3 cupcakes, a bag of candied nuts, and my bark the total was around $8, which was a pleasant surprise because other bakeshops I have been to before were much pricier. Definitely will return to check out other items they will have and satisfy my sweet tooth.
