Not the best bbq in St. Louis however it's a nice cheap alternative with fast service. I'd suggest the bbq salad with wet turkey and pork. Lunch specials are only $5 which is crazy cheap.

Award winning BBQ? I don't think so. It probably would have been better had it come out hot, or even warm. But it was cold. On the positive side, the sides were good. I guess anyone who has been to Pappy's will be ruined for life and always be biased. The service was friendly which is why I gave two stars instead of one. The server made sure my drink never ran dry. Although the price was cheap, the BBQ was not. This particular Bandana's would be a good place to take a party since it is large and didn't seem to be crowded at all.

I've been here two times and the biggest plus is the portions size. You get your money's worth. I've had beef and sausage plates and although not great they are good. Beans sides are great but potato salad is average. Staff is friendly and helpful. This place is worth visiting as long as you don't set your expectations unrealistically.

I'm a fan of good-quality southern BBQ and this place didn't disappoint. It definitely wasn't what you get when you go to a North Carolina pig pickin' but it was good nonetheless. We found the staff to be courteous and attentive. We tried both the pulled pork and brisket and both were very good for a midwestern place. I would recommend giving this place a shot if you're in the mood for some good quality smoked meat.

It was surprising good. As a southerner I keep my expectations sort of low when it comes to BBQ in the Midwest. Everything was really tasty.. Fried okra, pulled pork, ribs.. Even the baked beans and potato salad was yummy ! The service was also great and attentive
