Have ordered lunch here several times. Certainly nothing stellar about this place other than the somewhat large portions served. As we get our lunch to-go, this place is usually on-time with their estimates. The young lady who usually takes the order and serves the food, is unfriendly. Never smiles. Never thanks anyone for the business. You are to receive a free drink with the lunch special and she certainly does not tell you to get the included drink from the cooler before you leave. Food is always hot and has been properly cooked. The sweet and sour sauce they prepare is watered down and very liquid. It is quick and easy for lunch if you want something rather quick but certainly not a stellar restaurant.

After a lovely evening of batting cages with visiting 9 year old nephew we decided on chinese food. Ending up here, we ordered, sat and waited. The nephew heads to the candy machines. One quarter, two.. no luck. "Go to the counter and get your money back and stop putting quarters in the machines" we told him. This didn't phase him. He tries another. Only this time sticking his fingers inside the slots where the candy comes out. "I've got something" he said. So he ends up pulling a prepackaged little cake that was blocking candy from coming out. Huh.. He ended up pulling one out of every one that dispensed candy. I got to thinking wow if they'll steal quarters from candy machines I wonder what shortcuts they would take with the food. Might have been psychological but the food was terrible. It looked nice(Honey chicken) but not so much. The kid and I felt sick later but the girlfriend said hers was fine. Eat at your own risk..

This is by far the best Chinese food in the area. You get great size portions of food, always fresh and staff speaks English. Also the togo containers are reusable and you can microwave. Love their sesame chicken, cashew chicken and potstickers. They deliver also which is a plus.

The positives are that they are fast and the food is relatively good. The $5.60 lunch specials are a great deal. The negatives are that there is little to no seating and they don't have fountain soda- big bummer! The place is starting to show its wear and tear and needs to be updated and painted. Relatively clean restaurant with average Chinese food. My favorite thing is their fried dumplings- really yummy with a great dipping sauce.

Hope you never need a refund! I used to go here fairly often, until today. The food was always mediocre at best, but it was super close to home, so it would suffice during a hang over. Today, I ordered sizzling rice soup and was really saddened to see that they included pork (which I do not eat) as well as shell fish without specifying that it would be included on their menu. Its not that I couldn't eat something with shellfish. I could. But my face would swell up, obscuring my vision and I had just rented 3 movies from Red Box!! I wasn't happy to have to drive back, but I'm also not happy when I spend $5.50 on poisonous chicken broth full of uncut vegetables and regular (not sizzling) rice. The woman at the counter became very rude when I asked for a refund. She told me it was my fault for not asking what was in the soup, and I would take another soup home. She had a point, but she was being so vicious that I refused. I wanted my money back. Plus, the other soup had seriously struck out. Aside from not being able to tolerate shell fish, the soup was chicken broth and the vegetables in it were whole. The rice was not "sizzling rice", it was just normal. But the girl behind the counter yelled at me that I was wrong about that too. I am really not sure why the woman was so hostile during the situation. It was actually kind of humorous, retrospectively. What wasn't funny is that she handled my food and I hadn't noticed on my first trip that she had filthy dirty hair with white flakes in it and wore no hair net. My next review is going to be directed to the MO Department of Health. I have never had anyone be so rude to me. Ever. Five dollars doesn't mean that much to me, but I didn't want to let this woman bully me. She finally relented, gave me $5 and told me to never come back. In essence, they would rather have $5 than a satisfied, repeat customer. I am going to look into whether or not a restaurant is obligated to report whether or not they use shellfish in a meal. I also once ordered cashew chicken there and they put peanuts in it. That could kill someone.

Food is great - love the lite menu. Delivery is usually pretty quick. Lunch prices are good. Staff is friendly. The chicken and garlic sauce is one I tried that wasn't very good, but the veggie lo mein is outstanding. Their spring rolls are tasty too.

I can't tell if this is owned by the restaurant by the same name in Oakville... the crab rangoon was phenomenal, just like the one in Oakville. They offer large combinations. Sadly, this experience was not very good. The deliver took and hour fifteen minutes, despite being told it would take 30 minutes. The delivery driver did not carry change on her. The Bourbon Chicken was very dry, but tasted great. The crab rangoon was by far the best part. Try carry out.

Great food, big portions & good prices. The Kung Pao Chicken is great and the crab rangoon have just the right amount of crab & cream cheese for a takeout place.

I just called to order food from this place, and upon a disagreement over the charges I was hung up on. Upon calling back to ask why I was hung up on, I was told that I was not hung up on and argued with for several minutes before being hung up on AGAIN!! By the manager no less! Look who lost my business, and I LOVE Chinese food! Hope it was worth it, snarky, rude, woman who manages the joint! Ta!

As I was waiting for my food I ordered, I watched the girl use her bare hands to pick up food. Disgusting. Will never go back.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
