Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

If this is the best Chinese food in Rolla, find another cuisine. This is literally the worst Chinese food I have ever had. I decided to try the buffet. The hot and sour soup was neither hot nor sour. The lo mein was slimy and gross. The sesame chicken was cold. Ick.

Me and my family have been going here for years. In my opinion it is the best Chinese food around. They have great service, a great buffet and the prices aren't bad at all. I would recommend this place to anybody.

My daughter is a GRAD student at MST and her mother visit from LOUISIANA. We had asked a sister from church for Chinese cuisine. This place has been recommended for us! We were BLESSED!!

We visted Rolla when our buddy was graduating from Basic at fort Leonard wood. Based on Yelp reviews we gave this place a shot. I want to start out that I am not a fan of Chinese Buffets however this one was good. Food was tasty, fresh, hot and good. If I am ever in Rolla again I would stop in.

Best Chinese place in Rolla. They are obsessive about cleaning everything. Food prices are not bad. The only real beef I have with the place is that they do not take credit card for anything less than $10. This policy has been a PITA to both my friends and I. Oh, and they dont sell fortune cookies, which is a real bummer since the ones at Great Wall (where they do sell fortune cookies) do not taste as good.

I stopped in here for the first time with my grandma. I ordered some food, and I explained to the guy at the front that my g-ma couldn't get out of the car, and that we wanted to eat outside. He said it wasn't a problem. The food arrived steaming hot. He placed the items in trays so it was easier for my g-ma. The food was delicious. I ordered orange chicken w/fried rice. The portion was huge!! My g-ma ordered Shrimp w/Lobster sauce& Egg Drop Soup. She said it was the best egg drop soup! Overall the Mandarin Garden exceeded my expectations.. They even let me charge my cell phone inside while we ate, as I had been traveling all day.. Big thanks!! I will definitely return the next time I'm in Rolla,MO!!

Typical Chinese buffet. We had a fly and a little cockroach join our party. If you're a freak about bugs I'd steer clear. If you're like me and can secretly hyperventilate until I can convince myself it's just a little bug, you'll be fine. We let the staff know and they gave us a discount.

The food was warm... Not hot. It was also not very tasty. Prices were cheap. That was the only plus.

I got takeout from here one night before a volleyball game. I got the General Tso's chicken dinner, which came with fried rice and an egg roll. It was cheap...about $6.50 for dinner. So that's good. +1 star. Other than that, I liked that the fried rice was not super greasy. The chicken, however, was nothing like any General Tso's chicken I've ever had before. Yucky. I've never seen so much celery in a dish before... Bland, not spicy at all, just blah. They've got a buffet that a lot of people seemed to be enjoying, so maybe I'd try that. You can also get takeout from the buffet. I'll try the other places in town before going back.

I went here with a large group of people for dinner. The buffet was your average Chinese buffet with some good tasting food and plenty of food I try to avoid. The rolls they had on the buffet were not very good and I avoided them. The baked crap didn't taste like crab but still was one of my favorite things on the buffet. The different types of chicken were all good as well. They also had some American choices on the buffet. I would come back IF I had a craving for Chinese food and happened to be driving by but would not go out of my way to go here.

This place seems like Cheers to me. (Everybody knows everybody.)Everytime I come here no matter how long ago I left this town I run into SOMEONE here. (Well here or Wal-Mart.) My favorite Rolla Chinese Buffet place. Spring Rolls are to die for! It is the cleaniest Chinese place that I have ever been to. Also if you get a "to go order" they charge the buffet price which is I think 7.95 and you can fill the box up. Which for me feeds me like 3 meals. So I load up on the sweet and sour chicken, spring rolls, and fried rice. Make sure and bring cash because if it's less than $10 you can't use your debit card.

Ok, since I'm from Vegas let's just say this place is AWFUL!!. The worst off strip Chinesse/Asian buffet is better than the Mandarin Garden. Once we were sat we wern't given a menu. We were told that it's Buffet. So, we had no choice but to eat the old, barely warm buffet style food. They say they have 80 items on the buffet, and let me just say that 4 colors of jello and cookies out of a package still in it's original plactic tray shouldn't count. Nothing was good. Is that fair? I think so. This small town would fair better if it would just close.
