Mr. Goodcents in Raytown is a deli that puts Subway to shame! Mr. Goodcents creates sandwich masterpieces with softer bread and fresher ingredients than Subway. Their most popular sub is the Penny Club with roast beef, turkey, ham, and your choice of cheese and toppings. They offer the five dollar foot long deal, as well. Mr. Goodcents also serves made-to-order pastas with fresh baked garlic bites as a tasty side! This is the only place my dad will eat at in Raytown, so whenever I decide to hang out with him, we end up at Goodcents. I do believe that each and every employee at Goodcents knows our names and our order. They will start making our food as we walk in the door....unless I decide to be sneaky and change it up on them from time to time.

I have always prefered Goodcents bread over Subway bread, so to say the least, I prefer Goodcents over Subway. I was happy to find one close to my apartment. The staff has always been cheerful and helpful when my fiancee and I have come in. The sandwiches are great. I don't get any veggies on my sandwiches, so my first comment about the bread is important. My usual is the Italian, but I got the Goodcents Original last time. Not bad. You would think a sandwich with pepperoni on it would have a bit more of an Italian taste to it, but the bologna was the dominating flavor. The Original has ham, pepperoni, salami and bologna. I got mine with mozzarella. Lots of mayo. I give this a 4 star as opposed to a 5 star as the staff can get distracted a bit. I only get mayo and black pepper on my sandwich. The preparer started putting black olives on my sandwich. They fished them all out, but with a simple order like mine, you would think you couldn't mess it up. I like the place but your mileage may vary.

I am typically frequent Subway, but Mr. Goodcents is in the same strip mall as my work. I find myself, lately, preferring to go to Goodcents over Subway because the staff is always helpful and joking, and quick to get you taken care of if you're in a hurry. The ingredients they use are much fresher and of higher quality than Subway, as is their bread. They don't have many choices, but it is so soft and flavorful.

I order from this Goodcents about once a week, and I hate it. I always order for delivery, and they have NEVER gotten my order right. Not to mention, half the time they aren't delivering because "they can't find a driver." Talk about unprofessional. And when they are delivering, which is a miracle, the delivery drivers are rude and unfriendly. If there were an option to give zero stars, that's exactly what I would do. Don't get me wrong, I love Goodcents. The one I have near my house is phenomenal I would give them 5/5 any day. This particular one in Raytown, though, is a sad excuse for a restaurant. I can't believe they're still in business.

Oh Mr. Goodcents, how I love you. I honestly pick up a sub from here at least once every couple of weeks. Prices are pretty much the same as Subway (they have $5 footlongs) but the quality cannot be compared to them at all. I love the fact that they slice the deli meat fresh in front of you, as soon as you walk in you can smell bread baking and the staff has always been courteous. Not to mention it's sooooooo convienient for me to get there being it's right around the corner, i can walk to it with no problem. I really like the fact that its extremely CLEAN in there. I've walked into nasty sticky floored Subways before and Goodcent's has quite a bit more pride in their restauraunt. It's definitely a keeper.

Much better than subway, slighly above average for a Goodcents. Only complaint is the a/c is never cold enough.

This place has been there for several years, since at least 2000. It's comparable to subway, although not as susceptible to trends. It's been pretty much the same forever. Their white bread is delicious and so is their meat.
