I hear this USED to be a beautiful hotel. I'm just fine with a simple Motel 6, so don't think I'm exaggerating when I say this place is a dump! I give it one star because the bubble gum popping girl, wearing a ratty tank top and old gym shorts at the front desk was nice enough. Do yourself a favor and turn left instead of right for about 500ft and stay at the immaculate Best Western. Also, the Booneslick Lodge and the Super 8 are both just diagonally across and down a little of the same intersection. Though I haven't been in them, they look clean and kept. After promptly exiting the Neosho Inn, where we had reservations, (which thankfully they had lost), we chose the Best Western. I'll post their review too. Beware of positive reviews for Neosho Inn! They are bogus or are NOT for it's current condition! Under New Management and they completely let it go. So the locals have told me, all with sad nostalgia, I might add. We booked this hotel because it seemed to be the most conveniently located within walking distance at least to Walmart, etc and has it's own "Restaurant" if that's what you want to call it. Anyway, from online at least it seemed to make sense for whoever was left behind with the kids and without the rental car. When actually, all 4 of the hotels I've mentioned are all in the same area. There is plenty of eats and shops close enough! Good luck, you've been warned.
