IMAGINE it's 1843 and you're departing Kansas City headed North to visit family in the Commonwealth of Iowa. Liberty, Missouri is the last township to purchase supplies for the week's journey. My rations would consist of sandwiches from this Jimmy John's. This Jimmy John's is the cleanest location I've ever visited. Maybe it was just built the day before but it was sparkling clean. There were five teenage employees that must have been bored and saw my car pull up. They stood straight up when I walked in like I was a military general. At ease kids. I ordered a #2 BIG JOHN® with a bag of BBQ chips. These kids made my sandwiches in a few seconds and I was on my way back to the wagon. The cashier tried to up sell me on cheese, drinks and gift cards. At ease kid. CHEERS: Jimmy John's has nutritional information on their website here: jimmyjohns.com/menu/nutr… Jimmy John's color schemes are similar to my beloved Portland Trail Blazers. JEERS: Jimmy John's uses polystyrene (Styrofoam®) cups that take centuries to break down.

If this posting was just for food I'd give JJ's 5 stars easy, but if you need a review of JJ's sandwiches to decide whether or not to go there at this point you're hopeless. Anyways, I only gave this 3 stars for 2 reasons: 1) This is the slowest JJ's in kansas city. The ones I go to downtown and in the plaza area are always busy, yet get me my sandwhich super quick (one time they had it ready before my CC receipt printed out). However, this location is never as busy as those and yet it takes 3-4 times as long to get my sandwhich. Note - its still faster than any other sandwhich shop. 2) The number 1 thing I love about JJ's is the bread, and I frequently just purchase some of the new bread to take home. This has never been a problem at other locations, however, twice I have had problems buying fresh bread from this location. The first time they gave me a hard time about being low on bread and I had to argue to get them to sell it to me. The second time they flat out refused because they were so low. Both of these times were at like 6pm - they shouldn't be that low on bread at 6pm that they can't sell me any!

I ordered from this Jimmy John's for about two years when I was managing a business in Liberty. Their delivery speed was excellent, the food was always well made, and the orders were always correct, with only one exception when I had ordered a Diet Coke and they delivered a regular Coke. The drivers were always courteous and polite, and the few times I had to call in to the store (I ordered online), the people on the phone were great as well. I've been in-store a few times since the store I managed closed, and I found the store to be clean, the staff to be very nice, and the service to be excellent. If I have to ding them for anything, it would be that the music in the restaurant is a shade loud for carrying on lunchtime conversations, but that's an opinion call.

Very poor quality produce! My husband and I order from there tonight, my onions were so OLD and disgusting! My husband tomatoes were old as well and lastly the bread was stale & flat on both our sandwiches. When I called to aware them of this issue, they said I quote "well I don't think making you new sandwiches will do anything". Needless to say we won't be going there any more they've lost my business for sure!

I've been eating at jimmy johns since the place has open. But since we found BLACK long nasty hair in a sandwich and they refuse to bring another sandwich. They said because part was ate the sandwich....... I refused to do business with a company who don't wear hair nets..... that's soooo Nasty!!!!!!

Fastest delivery EVER, even their slowest delivery was still faster than any other delivery we've ever had. Staff has always been extremely professional and super friendly (always young adults)-obviously trained well. And the subs, one of the best-love the bread-haven't had a sub we haven't loved. Highly recommend.

My first visit to a Jimmy Johns. It won't be my last! This restaurant was clean. The decor was fun. They were well staffed. The service was good and "freaky fast". Honestly, I found this to be one of the best sub sandwiches I have had from a chain store. I highly recommend!

I worked here for a year. Best chips I have had from midwest to Hawaii. All the meat is disgusting and way over processed and low quality. Pretty disgusting kids.
