The first meal of the year?... White Castle at about 3 in the morning after a long night of work and then NYE celebrations. Go ahead and judge me... but I love whities. Not everything is good here, but the Bacon Egg and Cheese sandwhiches are the bomb... and I wanted to try the new veggie slider. IMO, it was better than the regular greasy-meat slider. And the window attendants, are actually in a good mood... I'm not sure how... dealing with drunk after drunk.

I love a good cup of coffee and believe it or not, White Castle serves up a good cup of java. Ever since I bought my Keurig coffee machine, I have commented that I wish WC would sell their blend in K-Cups. My wish has come true and it seems everyone else had the same wish. It took me three visits to different White Castle restaurants before I found one who wasn't sold out. The Kirkwood location has a huge glass display case of all the retail items White Castle offers and I was so excited to see a box of K-Cups being featured. When I requested a box for my very own, the cashier responded, "I hope we have some in back." I heart sank when she returned empty handed, but I quickly had a smile on my face when she walked around the counter and said, "Let me see if this is a full box or just a display." Sure enough, it was factory sealed and full of K-Cups and she sold it to me. The Kirkwood restaurant may now be missing their display of a hot new item, but they demonstrated good customer service. When I need another box, I will be sure to come back to this location.

The South has Bojangles, the Northeast has Friendly's and the West Coast has In-N-Out, but the Midwest has White Castle. So as I was driving through at lunchtime, I made a pit stop here to pick up a handful of sliders to enjoy on the road. Yep, they taste just like I remember. This crew seemed well organized and had everything under control. The bathrooms were surprisingly clean for a weekday mid-afternoon. Two complaints. The parking lot here is a bit of a maze. And while my fries had an appropriate amount of salty goodness, they weren't hot. I can't explain the one at the bottom of the box that was beyond crispy - it was incinerated.

Four Stars-really? White Castle is well, White Castle. It's always clean and always consistent but shouldn't go over three stars. A mediocre junk food from a chain hamburger stand. Yes I buy them on occasion like everyone else but I'd never steer anyone there from out of town. I did hear of one group from Denver however that were wild about them and shipped hundreds home frozen. Probably to feed some munched out college kids!.

don't judge---i really do enjoy my little cheeseburger sliders from White Castle......I went to this drive-thru twice for two cheeseburgers and a glass of water and the staff was efficient and very friendly---they asked how i was and wished me a good day and they actually gave me an adult sized glass of water --my cheeseburgers were hot fresh and delish....mmmmm mmmmm

Order; cheeseburgers,fries, chili w/onions & japaleno strips, cheesecake & brownie on sticks. Really good. Added s & p to the chili to pick it up. Yum. Gals behind the counter were great.

I really miss White Castle so going here was a real treat for me. After a day of hitting wineries, we needed some food in our bellies. The service at the drive thru was quick and the food was hot! However, I was unable to eat......but.....I popped my cheeseburgers in the microwave the next day and they were yummy!!!
