Beer menus would be nice. I can't stand the fact that they have several beers on tap and the waitress has no idea what the beers are. Food is not bad. The outdoor area is nice when the weather is nice.

Went here with high hopes ... that weren't met. Biggest gripe -- They didnt have the MLB package, and said they had no intentions on getting it. Not sure if you can call yourself a "sports bar" if you dont have the sports packages. By that criterion, having ESPN and a beer fridge in your living room makes your house a "sports bar." I was excited when I heard Smokebox was closing and they were putting in a Tanners, because I figured an established local chain like Tanners would have down the basics of a sports bar ... decent food, good TV options for sports, and a good beer selection with an ample happy hour. Smokebox was great for sports viewing and the service was always great ... but the food, and beer prices and selection werent anything to get excited about. Plus they never had happy hour specials it seemed. Unfortunately, the beer selection at Tanners was your standard run of domestics plus one Goose Island offering (IPA) -- so that was disappointing. I like the Goose IPA, but its nice to have some other options for those of us who dont prefer domestic lights. The TV viewing options were pretty decent. I normally will probably go to the back bar area - but that was closed that night (hopefully that doesnt happen with regularity). I didnt eat there because it was so busy and they didnt have the MLB package - we decided to go over to The Landing after a few beers. I'm guessing I will continue to chose the landing for my sports viewing, until this place gets the MLB package.

I love the food. However, we don't dine in anymore because the service is slow everytime. Even when we order take out I have to stand there for about 10 minutes before anyone says anything. Not very friendly either. I always get the tenderloin and love it every time though!

I went to Tanners when they first opened and didn't write a review as...well they had just opened and hadn't ironed out all of the wrinkles. I went back with high expectations and found that the wrinkles been ironed out. I went with several friends and we had excellent service. Our drinks never ran empty and our lunches were at our table in a very quick time. I had the tenderloin sandwich with fries. The sandwich was very good and the fries were crisp and hot. The rest of my party enjoyed their food as well. I'm happy Tanners got their act together and look forward to going back for their Wednesday night steak special.

Went to listen to a band so didn't eat anything besides chips and salsa. Menu looked good though. Had good service. Issue is no beer list and server really didn't know what they had.....which ended up being very lacking. Only stout was Guineas on tap....nothing in bottles. Don't know if I'd go back to eat just because of poor beer selection.

Food was pretty good. Orleans chicken sandwich pretty tasty. Jambalaya fritters were different and good. Appetizers pretty much standard bar fare. Not much of a happy hour special.

Double decker BLT - was just the way it's supposed to be- bacony and filling :) Buffalo wings were big and juicy. Nice selection of beers. Very short handed- just one waitress and a food runner...? They've got a nice covered "patio" seating that's separated from the "smoking" seating... got TVs and a nice selection of beers. Private parking lot- not a bad place to grab a quick bite if you're staying in the hotels around this place like we did.

Steak on my taco salad was like beef jerky in texture and salt content. Also waitress wouldn't accept my liquor license for id... I get it I was a server but it's Tuesday at 430 it's not like one of the 7 people here are gonna care... Lettuce was old as sin unfortunately I needed to get to work so I didn't have time to send it back and wait for another one. Overall don't waste your time go next door to the well better food servers and atmosphere. I'd tell you the name of my crappy waitress if she ever told it to me...

Good service, good food. Son had steak special and loved it. A lot of tv's for sports and they will change the channel to the game of your choice.

Want to give it 1.5 stars for trying really hard, but the food just didn't meet my expectations. Went there with a friend and his grandson. They ordered boogas with fries, and I ordered chicken breast sandwich. The boogas arrived overcooked and tasteless. The fries were super-salty. We didn't order any drinks so our server pretty much left alone after he dropped off the food. I know its a BAR and their main focus is getting people to order drinks - lots and lots of drinks. This is what pays the bills. I get it. But they should stick to peanuts and nachos instead of trying to be a grill. Won't be going back anytime soon. Note: Noise level is very high. For some reason they play music that you can't quite hear. Skip the music, Tanners.

Don't be deceived by the items pictured on their website. Ordered a "Booga"/burger with onion rings. The burger was served with 2 red onion rings, 3 pickle slices and a piece of limp lettuce. The burger itself was supposed to be "fresh hand-pattied ground beef". No way was this a hand pattied burger-more like a frozen burger thrown on and cooked (with fake grill marks). This burger had NO TASTE! The 5 onion rings (up-charge of $1.99) were coated in some type of bread crumbs with ranch flavoring, not at all like those pictured on their website. All in all - tasteless. I WILL NOT GO BACK FOR MORE, which is sad because the menu items pictured looked yummy and the food descriptions sounded yummy. The other person in my party ordered pulled pork and fries - nothing special with that either. Disappointed

We sat out on the back patio and enjoyed a great sunset. The patio was nice and so was the atmosphere and music. We only had drinks and the cheesy pretzels, both were good and the beer was cold. The service was a little slow, we often had to wave down our waitress for another round, and it was a Wednesday night. The bathroom was pretty filthy and could use some updating and cleaning. The entrance when you walk in is just like it was when it was a BBQ place, very dark and unattractive. Overall I might or might not go back, tough to say.
