Ok, I'm just going to say it.... "Bring Schlotzsky's to New York!!!" The sandwiches are superb! My boyfriend & I split a ham & cheese original style & a turkey bacon club (we both went for the medium size) & we could barely finish them! They had quite a variety of good-lookin' sandwiches so it was tough to pick. (I will definitley be trying some others next trip)! Oh, and the sweet tea was really delicious too! Just be sure to add lots of ice if you want it nice & cold. My nieces dined here a day earlier & told us how good the sandwiches were. I really didn't think much of it until we were driving by & my boyfriend spotted the place & asked if I wanted to try it. Since our main "sandwich" shop is Subway's in NY, I wasn't expecting much. Well, what a pleasant surprise! We really could use a few of these & a lot less Subway's. Ofcourse, living in NY, we do have some of the best delis around but sometimes you just kinda want a "specialty" sandwich. I feel Schlotzsky's would be a great alternative around the New York area. So, I'll say it again... "Bring Schlotzsky's to New York!!!" :-) Also, on a strange note, not only was I impressed with the dining experience but the lady's room was clean & kinda nice. One of the best sandwiches you can get anywhere in this area is the Original. I always get the large, sure it is too much to eat in one sitting and no I don't want to split it! I will eat the other half later. I'm not a Cinnabon person myself but if you are, you can get Cinnabon here also.

I find the food and service quality to be much better at the other Joplin Schlotzsky's location. I've had several issues with sloppily made sandwiches and incorrect orders at this Schlotzsky's. Since the addition of Cinnabon, their dining room space is exceedingly cramped and uncomfortable (especially if you are dining with a party of 3 people or more). It's worth your time to head to the other end of town and hit the store at 32nd and Main St, in my opinion. Better service and food.

The food is very good. A little on the greasy side but well worth the price, which is a little high for fast food. There is one location in front of Target and one at 32nd and Main Streets.
