Best Thai food I have ever had. Love the cucumber soup. Generous portions ensure no one leaves hungry. Staff is super friendly and made our visit. I wish I lived closer.

Sorry to say but this fine Thai place has closed. We went to have lunch last week only to find that it was gone. Very sad!!!!

This place is amazing, living in this town when I was younger, I can tell you how hard it is to find a place like this! Amazing Thai food better than some places I've been to in West Port and Downtown Atlanta. Great service and nice quite environment not super upscale but perfect for me. Great portions and authenticity so happy!

I had never had Thai food before, but this place was great! Our server was fantastic and the food was good for the price. Definitely something different when you get tired of fast food and Applebee's in harrisonville.

We found this gem while driving around one day in small town Harrisonville. We've been craving a good Thai restaurant since our relocation from Sacramento and found it in this place. The owner and his wife (I'm guessing their relationship) are friendly, relaxed. Don't expect top notch service here, but the food will be good and plentiful. I am a HUGE red curry chicken fan and this place most certainly can do it VERY well.

Bad. Bad news for the Harrisonville eating scene. Four today sadly they have closed for good. Retired. I for one will certainly miss them.

Excellent food! We have eaten at most of the Thai Restaurants in the metro. After moving to Peculiar we stumbled upon the Thai Pavilion last night. We were very surprised and excited at how wonderful the food was. The fresh spring rolls and other appetizers were far better than those served at the Thai Palace in Westport, which is saying a lot. We will defiantly go back time and time again. You owe it to yourself to give it a try!

Couldn't believe I found this place in Harrisonville. A true gem in a strip mall next to Walmart. Great spring rolls, Tom Yum Gai, huge portions reasonable prices. This is truly Thai comfort food. The owner is actually Thai, not Korean or Chinese. The place isn't fancy, but the food is awesome. Highest recommendation.

We were surprised to see a Thai option in Harrisonville. So we stopped in. The owner was taking and messing orders up. We are a relaxed couple, as things slowly started arriving, we were informed there was not enough pumpkin to make our order, then people who ordered after us started getting their orders delivered (and short on two dishes at that) we asked to add # 12 a salad, to ours since they could not complete the curry pumpkin. It never showed up............... It never got ordered, with two tables to serve. Again,,, # 12, a salad, never showed up........................................................ In the owners defense, he tore the ticket up, we tipped, I thought I/we would try them again to be fair. I have a finite amount of time on this planet, I am not willing to give them another try, there are too many good options in Kansas City, This was a mistake not to be repeated.

Excellent food and service at a great price. The whole family enjoys eating here. This is a must try

In the food desert that is Harrisonville this place is a shining star. The experience isn't high brow or high service but rather family friendly and really really good Thai food. I am very partial to the red curry and the spring roll. The quality of the food is just wonderful. I think they are still learning the finer aspects of running a restaurant but they make up for it with really fun and kind people who run the place. Only good food in this city if you ask me!!

Best restaurant in Harrisonville. The pumpkin curry is great, and only $5 during lunch. The owner/chef always comes out for a chat after cooking. But every time I asked for a lime wedge, I'm brought a lemon :)

The Thai Pavilion is a nice addition to the culinary choices in Cass County. If, like me, you'll drive ten miles to avoid the ubiquitous Chinese buffet, then give the all homemade dishes at Thai Pavilion a try. This is what comfort food in Thailand must taste like. I've been to more upscale Thai eateries but enjoyed them less. The strip mall ambiance is to be ignored. Both times I've been here the owner cook has come out front to see if I like what she's prepared. I started both dinners with fresh spring rolls, which are the biggest I've ever had. The peanut sauce, chopped peanuts in a vinegar base, is different than the usual thinned peanut butter, but it finishes the appetizer quite well. On my first visit I had the "Thai sweet and sour." Instead of the cornstarchy Cantonese sauce, this dish presents a thinner sweet and sour broth to deliciously dress the vegetables and meat. On my second visit I enjoyed a shrimp and noodle dish (#20) that was very savory. I recently relocated to the Harrisonville area. I eat out a lot, and I plan to be a regular at Thai Pavilion.

Thai Pavilion owners Gene and Suwan Ottendorf have an astonishingly good authentic restaurant that has spring rolls likely far superior to 99% of any elsewhere. The flavors of the different main dishes are lovely and intriguing, and the prices are probably too low. This is a pretty, small, very clean, simple place that doesn't need to be fancy; this food speaks for itself. No alcohol served. You might call to ask if you can bring wine. Just 1/2 mile off 71 south of Kansas City (where Hwy. 7meets 71). Go to this terrific, accommodating place if you value the real thing. Highly recommended.
