This is a good restaurant, maybe slightly overpriced. The food is delicious, and the service was great. There's a nice bar area with TV's. My fiancee had the shrimp and grits, while I had the fish tacos. I think I liked mine better than she did hers.

Great Food. No Corkage Fee was a plus. Deviled Eggs and Sugar Bacon were big hit. Steak and Tuna Entree were delicious. Definitely will be back.

I used to come here all the time for brunch and can now only make if for lunch meetings but it was fabulous. Came in tonight for happy hour and what would have been dinner. Had to switch tables due to noise (not their fault). Our waitress walked up, seeing we had paid cash, and said "are we good here?" I believe the appropriate response is would you like change or can I do anything to make your experience better (since we were moving tables). Sat down at a new table and had to chase down a server. Finally ordered sushi...4 types and they just dropped them down on the table. No clearing. No explanation. Truly disappointed. Won't be coming back.

We met a small group at BrickTops for a birthday gathering. We really enjoyed the place! We had a tuna burger (off the lunch menu) and some sushi. Both entrées were great. The place was rather crowded but the staff maintained good service. Will definitively be going back soon.

My girlfriend and I went for lunch July 30. Her suggestion. We sat at a booth in the bar. Quite close to the restroom. Kinda a plus. We both got the prime sirloin meatloaf, which comes with fries. I should have asked for broccoli. Fries only last for -- you eat four or five, and then you're done. They were fine. Shoestring-style. The meatloaf was incredibly rich. It was a mound -- not a loaf. And covered with ketchup. I was not blown away with this meatloaf. For one, it was too rich. I took three bites and was done. For two, the overwhelming ketchup was waaaay too much. Leftovers were better, 'cause I added A-1.

The good... Very classy, dimly lit, richly appointed decor has been assembled to greet the hungry patron and transform their dining experience into a night at the BBQ grill with friends and family. Bricktop is divided into bar, right side, traditional dining, left side...go right...they have a wonderful patio that only adds to the atmosphere... Food was good, but a bit expensive...I was in the mood for a burger, nicely done, with LTO and a bun that held everything together. I have a pet peeve, when a burger looks good, but won't stay together after the 3rd or 4th bite. This one worked on many levels. Wife had sushi and stir fry veggies...she said it was good...son #1 had burger, which he said his burger tasted like steak and shake. Guess I could have saved $100, and did the steak and shake thing, nah. Son #2, chicken tenders, he gave them 5 stars...good meal... The bad...the ugly... Service...you would think a place like this, would have top notch service, but we were met with a knowledgable, but rude and inattentive server. He introduced himself, and proceeded to say..."drinks...?" Very rude. I will say, he knew the menu, but then took our order, someone else dropped our food, and then we were presented with the bill...never checking on us once... Probably won't go back, as it's strange how service can leave a bad taste in your mouth, even though it's not part of the food. Nonetheless, always glad to try another new place...and yelp about it...

I've been here twice in the last week, but only the second time because Former Cardinal baseball player, Jim Edmonds wife, (also from St. Louis) tweeted about how much she and Jim enjoy it when they ate in town. (Just a side note, I did find it strange that she did not tweet about her husband's restaurant, but maybe that is better than a poor review on Yelp and I will take it as a sign to stay away.) Ah, I digress. I guess i just wanted to be blown away by the food and the restaurant. I wasn't. It's okay, but nothing special. The menu is just odd-a huge hodge podge of food from sushi to burgers. I wish it was memorable, but I barely remember any one thing sticking out as great! As for Mrs. Edmonds, if this is as good as it gets, when I'm at this corner of town, my money is going two doors down to Brio-that carpaccio is something I can't stop thinking about!

Went tonight for business dinner & I must say definitely 5 stars on food!! The actual seating and accommodations for bigger parties made me go down 1/2 a star. We started with devil eggs & bacon something I would normally not order but it was amazing especially with the bacon. Then the house wedge salad was delicious to end with the Sea Bass. The Bass was crusted & ex exceptional flavor!! Best Seafood since NE in such a LONG time!! The others plates looked amazing as well... Filet Maginot, Rib Eye....yum!!! Big huge recommendation. Service was good, only downfall was we went from 6-8 and given a table for 4. The wine also could have an improvement.

BrickTop's is a great restaurant in Frontenac and the prices are a dead giveaway of your location. Went here for lunch for work and really couldn't decide if I should just ask for a cheap caesar salad that wasn't on the menu or just go all out and get the filet mignon or salmon because, what the heck, I was probably never going to be able to afford to come here again. I ended up getting a combination of the two in the Palm Beach entree salad: lump crabmeat, poached shrimp remoulade, avocado, tomato, chopped egg. It was expertly crafted and each element was perfect in its own right. The shrimp was not overdone and the the crabmeat was tender. I loved the arrangement on the plate in a cylinder shape, like a child stuffed sand in a bucket on the beach and flipped it over. I left feeling refreshed as it was a fairly healthy dish and was still full because of the meat and greens. Overall a delicious meal.

We wanted to have dinner on a patio and this place has very nice covered patio. They have a nice plastic window that keep the noise down and heaters in the ceiling. Cloth tablecloths are very nice, but they put white paper over the table of them and the paper is clammed to the table... I was waiting for the waiter to bring us some colors. The wine menu was decent, no Moscato but my friend had a nice Zinfandel. Since I just got back from Florida I was not in the mood for seafood. I had the chicken breast, it was served sliced with a nice light wine sauce. I asked for the vegetables of the day, it was a mixture of carrots, kale, parsley, and onions, interesting but tasty. The interesting part was my friend ordered meatloaf and mashed potatoes. Lets just say I wished I had ordered his dinner. We did share a slice of key lime pie, very limey (if that is a word) Nice place.

Service is great, food is great, attentive hostess, menu for everyone. Best. Toilet paper. EVER! Fish tacos were stunning, BBQ chicken salad was filling for the hungriest of men. Fish tacos were tender, sweet, and savory. The fries are not to be missed!

Bricktop's is a great restaurant. I would consider it to be on the nicer and pricier end, but I have enjoyed every visit. They have a varied menu with lots of options. They even have quality sushi! Daily specials are printed out and waiting on your table when you get there, along with the regular menu. I would recomend it for a nice diner date or a great place to have a family lunch/brunch.

I really enjoy going to BrickTops. Our most recent dinner visit was for New Year's Eve. I had one of their daily fish offerings. They have fresh fish brought in daily and it is apparent they have experience in preparing it correctly. BrickTops is also a great place to go for a business lunch or for happy hour after work. They always have a great selection of wines by the glass and a number of craft beers on tap. The atmosphere is really nice and when it's warm enough, they have a great patio area outdoors.

This is a newish place in Frontenac next to Brio's. It is very upscale so plan on spending $20+ for lunch. When you arrive if you are meeting someone they will write down the name of the person you are meeting which i thought was a nice touch. Service was very good as was our meal. I got the chicken tenders and it was a lot of food. The bar area looks like it would be fun for a happy hour. Lots of windows and light during the day and in fact, they had to lower the blinds it was so bright. This place is a bit pricey for me to go on a regular basis.

Good food..YES...service...not so much!! My first time..I waited for friends at the bar...after 20 min..I called the front receptionist and asked her who I need to sleep with to get service...sigh...bar service is NOT the best. Once we got our table...we had Wendy...she was clearly versed on the menu and how to treat a guest..Oh my goodness...If I can have her as a server again...this is SOO worth our trip to visit! Wendy...you are clearly a professional and know what you are doing.I can't thank you enough!

Food here is amazing. You have to try the deviled eggs (the bacon tastes life candy). My husband loves the steak and I'm a big fan of the meatloaf. We've been here twice and the only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is because of the service. The last time we visited our waitress was short with us and didn't give us the option to choose our sides, she chose for us, which I didn't appreciate. Otherwise an overall great experience!

Made reservations at 6:30 for a birthday dinner for a party of 5. Over the course of our two and a half hour saga, there was a lot to be disappointed about. At one point, the waitress returned with our drinks, about 25 minutes after they had been ordered, apologizing and using the excuse that they were "lost in cyber space." Should've known the service was going to be rough after that. It took an hour and a half for our food to finally arrive after ordering. And somehow, if anyone can explain this to me, a party of 7 and a separate party of 16 (yes- 16) received their orders before we did- despite the fact they each placed their orders at least 15 minutes after we did. Over the course of this time, the waitress came to our table a whole zero times to ask if we needed anything. When the food finally did arrive, one of our meals was cold, and another was horribly undercooked. Needless to say, it might be a while before we head back here.

You have to try the devilled eggs with bacon appetizer. It is a must when you come here. After my appetizer i went with a simple Caesar salad and cheeseburger. I was taking a few employees to lunch but was in the mood. Cooked just as i had asked and was really good. I did have to pull the onion off of it (very strong) but left stuffed with a smile. Isnt that hoe you always want to leave a restaurant? Service was great, friendly and kept my glass from reaching bottom. Great experience.

What a great find!!! Went there for lunch with the wife and kid 2. Beautiful place, great service and amazing food. I had the blackened mahi-mahi fish tacos. Nice sized fillets, yummy guacamole, slightly fluffy tortillas. All in all a delicious dish! The wife had one of the twenty lobster roll sandwiches they have each Friday. Yes, you read that right - they only prepare 20 of these things per week. Want a lobster roll...go have lunch there on Friday but don't make it a late lunch or they're all gone. I managed to score a bite and it was really good. Maybe even as good as my fish tacos but that was what I was in the mood to eat so I passed on the lobster. I would certainly order her sandwich in the future tho! The woman loves deviled eggs so she gladly accepted our server's offer to pick something other than fries with her lobster roll. The delicious eggs were simply executed yet perfect. The kid opted for a cheeseburger with caramelized onions. I think Patt C. called it one of the best burgers she's ever had and I concur. It was amazingly flavorful, tender and juicy. The caramelized onions were a sublime addition which further added to the flavor profile and there was plenty of cheese, a good thing in my opinion because when I order a cheeseburger I want to know that I'm eating a cheeseburger. It is worth mentioning that kid 2 is a skinny 12 year old girl and she demolished that huge burger with the exception of the single bite I tried. It is also worth mentioning that she asked for the skillet cookie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for dessert and ate almost the whole thing by herself. The kid slipped into a food coma in the car and declared that she was taking a nap when we got home. I wonder if she will eat again this weekend?

Classy atmosphere, good food. Bricktop's delivered a first class brunch - we had the waffles & fried chicken which was delicious aside from the chicken being just a bit too salty for my liking. Overall a great restaurant.

Met a friend there on a rainy Wednesday night at 6:30. Made a reservation the day before online (even though I didn't think we would need it). Boy, was I wrong. The place was packed! BrickTops had a nice wine selection and a great menu. I liked the fact the have a dinner special of the night printed up on little menu cards. Our server (a lady, can't remember her name) was very attentive and was really understanding when my friend was running late. First time there, will definitely go again!

Terrible service. Server never brought the bread that was offered before our meal and didn't check in after our meal was served. Beverages were empty for more than ten minutes. Got nothing but excuses when finally the server did appear. If ever I visit again, I'll sit at the bar.

Decided to come back here to try some other menu options. It was pretty crowded the night we went, and I want to say we were there on a Thursday at around 7pm so I guess next time I'd make a reservation. Since we didn't make one, I didn't really mind waiting knowing it was my fault, lol. (Perfect opportunity for both of us to catch up on our Plants vs. Zombies 2.) I really enjoyed the glass of wine I tried...it was the cheapest cab option on the menu and it was pretty good. I also ordered a salad based on a Yelp photo I saw. "Are all your salads cylindrical?" LOL. Probably the weirdest question they've been asked all night. Or ever. LOL. Yes, I order my food based on geometry sometimes....it's my inner enginerd coming forth! But really it just looked beautifully delish. And it was. I had the palm beach, their best selling salad apparently. I also tried the lobster bisque...and here's where my experience went south. I was really excited about it because I freakin' love lobster bisque! One of my favorite soups to eat, everrrr! But theirs tasted....spicy? At first I thought my nose was running because it was so hot. Well it cooled down and it was still hot. And my lips began to burn (it was a chilly, dry, night) and then my stomach began to feel odd. When the waitress returned, I asked her if there was ANYTHING at all spicy in the soup. She replied that she did not think so. She refilled my water (on the 3rd glass by now) and returned to tell me that, yes, there is in fact Tabasco sauce in the bisque. Hooooly F! If any of y'alls read my reviews, you might recall that I am "blessed" with IBS and that spicy food = death to my digestive system. I've also got a pretty bad case of GERD and anything spicy = indigestion, heart burn, acid reflux, etc. for HOURS. Typically I ask before ordering if something is spicy or not....but I really, honestly, did not even think for a moment that lobster bisque could be so spicy. Or spicy at all, even. But thankfully she was really apologetic, having GERD herself, and offered to remove the soup from the bill. It wasn't really about the money for me, but I appreciate the gesture. I just wish I hadn't been in pain for the rest of the evening. I popped a bunch of enzymes just in case and took TUMS and it helped a bit but it was still a bloated, uncomfy ride home. :( So yeah.... wine = good. Salad = good. Soup = too spicy! If you plan to order the bisque and you cannot digest spicy things and/or just hate spicy things, you might want to reconsider your order. Just sayin'.... and we looked over the dessert menu (she brought it out just so we could see, for next time) and I noticed they had a warning at the bottom of the menu regarding which dessert had peanuts in it in case of allergies. I feel like they should publish what things have spicy stuff on the menu too because not everyone likes surprises! Just some feedback. I know my review sounds rant-y and upset but this place is really not a bad restaurant. The atmosphere was great, service was great, food came out fast but not so fast that I didn't sip on/savor my wine for a little while (just the perfect amt of time IMHO) and the menu is pretty diverse. Even Sean was really into their burger (it looked fantastic btw!) The spicy thing just kinda threw a wrench in my gears but I'd still go back and maybe get the salad again or try their steak, and also a dessert or a cocktail. Maybe even the (non spicy) sushi rolls! Only other complaint? Too cold. Make sure to wear something warm no matter the time of year if you plan to dine here.

THIS PLACE DESERVES BETTER RATINGS! Great location, great food and wide variety. Bar area is big and friendly with TVs, but the restaurant remains upscale Frontenac style where business-people, often is suites, come for a quick lunch. Great sandwiches and entres and evenSushi make this place a warm and friendly find. GREAT patio area on an nice nice and loads of easy parking. LOTS of great food options and a good wine list and full bar. Not really kid friendly. We had some odd bugs flying around on patio and inside the other night, hopefully a rare thing.

Our party had deviled eggs, fish tacos and Cobb salad. The fish tacos were amazing! The deviled eggs with the bacon was a fun appetizer. The cobb salad was wonderful with great flavors mixed together and the presentation was unique? The service was really good as well.

Food was great. Service was well below standard. No personality. It seemed as though we were a burden to our server. The restaurant was very slow. We were there at 1:00pm on a Saturday afternoon. We were made to feel as though we were not wanted.

We sat down at 4:45PM and the waitress was at our table in about 2 minutes. I mention this because we were seated after telling the hostess that our daughter was still 20 minutes away. So we were able to get a drink and order an appetizer, spinach and artichoke dip. That arrived at our table within 15 minutes. I am not a big fan of this appetizer but I haven't stayed married for 43 years by not ordering what my wife and daughter love. The surprise for me was that the dish also came with a small dish of red salsa! The taco chips with that salsa gave me a chance to enjoy this appetizer along with my 2 ladies. I got the crab cakes as my entree and was pleasantly surprised to see that I could add deviled eggs as my side. These were the most eggstream crab cakes I ever have eaten. The cakes truly are crabmeat with minimal bread used to bind them. My wife ordered the steak and potato flatbread which included caramalized onions. I was skeptical until I tasted it, the sweetness of the onion was the perfect counterpoint to the seasoning of the chunks of steak! We are not big on dessert but our daughter talked us into the hot chocolate chip cookie topped with ice cream. It was a great cookie. I will never to be able to eat a cold cookie again. The prices are a bit high but I think the good service and imaginative menu justify them. Try it.

Five star food and two star service... I am a little conflicted about this review, but I spend $50 on lunch for two and the waitress hit two of four pet peeves. And she was training a new server, so now he can make the same mistakes:(. Let me start by saying that the food was really good - I had the mahi mahi fish tacos and they were some of the best I've had. Service - I have 4 pet peeves when I dine out: 1. Sit me near a baby, toddler, or the smoking section if there is another available option (Bricktop's does not have a smoking section, I'm just listing it as part of the peeve) 2. Offer me things that are free...if it comes with the meal or I am out of a free-refill drink and am still eating, just bring it! We were asked if we wanted bread with our meal (which they bring habitually) and asked if we wanted soda refills when we were obviously still eating. "No thank you, I will just finish my meal with nothing to drink. I like to be thirsty" Really?! 3. Bring the check without offering me dessert. I think they are either calling me fat or cheap when they do this. 4. Grab the receipt before I leave. This is compounded if they ignore me from that point on - she grabbed it, but we didn't stick around enough to be fully incensed. The food was good enough that I will give them another try and hope to do better in the service lottery...

Sub par food and sloppy service. It reminds be of an upscale Applebees. I can't imagine how this restaurant fills their tables when there are so many good locally owned options.

Stopped by for lunch recently. The decor was very attractive, and the service very good. The food was disappointing. The lobster bisque we ordered was average. It tasted just like tomato bisque with bits of lobster for garnish. The orange juice was near fresh squeezed, but a significant amount of water had been added to it (to stretch the amount of juice, I suppose) so it was practically flavorless. The taco appetizer was good, though the meat was on the dry side. We tried the Hawaiian tuna, which was pretty good. The stir fried vegetables served with the tuna, however, were awful. They were overcooked in too much oil and without any seasoning of any kind, so it was very unpleasant to taste. The crab cake was nice, and the fries on the side were lovely: thin and perfectly crispy. Overall, it was an ok lunch. The food didn't really live up to the prices they were charging, though.

Walked right in on a Tuesday night around 6:30. Promptly seated, the restaurant was moderately busy. Very nice atmosphere, very clean. Had appetizer, drinks, salad and main course for $80. Excellent food, excellent service. Definitely try the deviled eggs, the trout was very good, and my wife enjoyed her steak. Will definitely be back.

Went in for a combination Mother's Day & Birthday dinner. While we had a large party of 12 service was unreasonably slow. We asked for bread about 20 minutes in and it never arrived. When we asked again several times we were finally told they ran out. It would have been nice if we were told up front. When entrees started to arrive 45 minutes after ordering, they came out over a 10 period with several missing the side. I had to ask to be told they ran out of the side I ordered. I should have been told before the entree was served. I had told the waiter and hostess that we had two birthdays and they acknowledged it. They never made mention again and we left without any further acknowledgement. If they don't assist in celebrations, that's OK, just don't make me believe that there will be something. The food was decent, The only suggestion I have is don't go with a large party or on a major holiday.

After two visits, I'm upgrading from 4 to 5 stars. With an upscale bistro feel (reminds me of the restaurant chain Houston's), this place is pricey but they do earn that price through excellent food, service, and comfort. We arrived for Saturday lunch and were seated promptly. I ordered a soft drink ($2.25) and my husband grabbed a Dirty Martini (all martinis are $6/day), which was made with Purus organic vodka and came with 3 large blue-cheese stuffed olives. It was a very smooth martini After hearing about the specially prepared pickle relish unique to BrickTop's that is mixed into the Guacamole ($10, see picture), we had to try it. You get a good-sized serving of chips, salsa, and guacamole. The guacamole didn't taste like pickle relish in any way, so I'm not sure where that flavor comes through, but I can tell you the guac was fresh and somehow seemed smoother and lighter than the average - not burdened with tons of tomatoes and onions. I had the Cheeseburger ($11, see picture) again, and it was perfect. After splitting the guacamole, I could only eat 1/2 of this entree. I had wanted to order the Chicken Tenders, which I saw on the website, but they are not on the menu at this Frontenac location. However, the server said you might be able to order them off-menu if you came for brunch. We were eyeballing the large comfy patio outside and looking forward to having brunch there in the fall. My husband ordered the Simply Grilled Salmon ($18, see picture) with a side of Deviled Eggs. I don't like Deviled Eggs, and even I thought they were kinda tasty. The salmon was seriously good, seasoned well, with a light crust on the top. Service was superb as usual. They boxed up my leftovers and even fixed me up with a to-go soda. Ladies, check out the lightly Elvis-themed bathroom. Floor-to-ceiling doors on the stalls, marble countertop, Elvis music playing, and a signed autograph from Elvis on the wall.

I don't like to throw out 5 stars all the time, but I don't have any complaints at all. We walked in on a Saturday night at 6:30 and had a half hour wait, we got a drink in the bar and waited. The hostesses were very professional, waitstaff was great too. They started with some bread and butter.. the bread was warm, love that. I asked the server if I should get the fish tacos or burger.. he said the fish tacos really have been the most popular thing on their menu, and they were great. They had a piece of fish the size of a fishstick.. it was grilled, very flavorful.. there was also a great cole slaw, cheese and guacamole in the soft taco. At first I thought 2 wasn't going to be enough, but it was. For a side I got fries.. they were great, perfectly seasoned. Boyfriend got the cheeseburger. OMG... this is one of the best burgers I have ever tasted...seriously, THAT good. He had the coleslaw as a side and really enjoyed that, mayo based with a little kick. Next time I go I want to get the burger for myself! Burger was $14.. and worth it.

Walked in without a reservation for a late dinner at 8 o'clock they told us there would be a 20 minute wait, we went to the bar had 2 glasses of wine they told us they would find us at the bar, the bar was crowded we were seated promptly in 20 minutes food was mediocre at best I did love the piece of Seabass that i ordered, Although it was a small portion it was delicious. They make their guacamole fresh when ordered, I think this is a mistake guacamole always taste better when it gets to sit for an hour or two. As far as our drinks go we were drinking wine I don't remember which one at this point but the first class we ordered after being seated for dinner was a decent pour level but the second glass we ordered was poured at half the amount. It will be a little while before I go back to this establishment.

Arrived around 5:30 pm on a Sunday and got seated right away. A bit later and the place filled up. It is very noisy inside, but we could still carry on a conversation. We were offered bread after we ordered and we took it. It was very mediocre with no flavor. Two crab cakes for $30 had better be freakin' awesome. They were lukewarm at best, I'd expect them to be hot. They were good but not worth $15. I got a salad ( a crab cake came with it) which was good. We got the dark chocolate ice cream for dessert and it was outstanding! We'd go back just for the ice cream. Overall I have mixed feelings. Some of what we had was really good but the pricing is high which might be due to the location.

There are very few places you can go where you feel 100% welcome every time you sit at the bar and this place is one of them. The bartenders truly are the friendliest people on earth every time I am there. They have an excellent happy hour with great sushi rolls. I know not what you would expect but they are great! The home made guacamole is some of the best I have ever had, again what a great surprise and don't get me started on the candied bacon and deviled eggs.... To die for. I definitely am I creature of habit so it's a great place to go to on a regular basis. Last night tried the daily flat bread special fig and prosciutto . It looked beautiful with prosciutto roses on every slice but it was difficult to eat. Hope they read this review because a julienne of prosciutto that gets a little crispy on top with one rose in the center for a little panache would make this the best flat bread ever. I miss the chandeliers and the new lamp lighting obstructs your view at the bar and appears to be in the way of the bartenders but if that's not keeping this place from being a five star place. The patio is fabulous so arrive early when the weather warms up to get a seat and the whole bar opens up to open air so everyone can enjoy the beautiful weather.

The food is good here. I don't want to dissuade you from trying them out. But $11 for chips and guacamole, $13 for a cheeseburger, $16 for two fish tacos... prices are a bit outrageous. Everything was good. The burger was well seasoned and buttery. The space is really neat inside. If I was in the area and wanted a burger, I'd just go to Lester's or Sportsman's park for better value.

Is it possible? Could this place be, dare I say it, PERFECT!?! I can't say that I ever venture out to chains in Frontenac, however, my work hosted an event here and I loved it so much that me and the BF came back to celebrate our anniversary. Due to the prices, it leans more towards special occasion restaurant, although I would not classify it as overpriced for what you get. Both times, service was impeccable. I love the dark ambiance. If you sit in a booth, the lights above shine a direct beam in the exact center of the table, rather than on the guests, which provides nice atmosphere. Even the bar is pretty cool. The food was killer! Both times I got the filet with twice-baked potato side. The steak comes in 6 or 10 oz - and I love the 6 oz option because it leaves room for salad, dessert, etc. You have the option to add a small Caesar, Wedge or Paris salad to your meal for $5. Do that! I've tried both the Caesar and Wedge, both great - but, as a blue cheese lover, the Wedge knocked my socks off. The steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly (I also tried a bite of the Prime Strip Steak and it was fantastic, too). The twice-baked potato is so creamy and flavorful. I can tell you that a twice baked potato is something I rarely order out and, it was so good, I got it twice. In my experience, every single darn thing is bursting with flavor here. And, as if you needed any more convincing, the wine pours are very generous as well.

What a great addition to the dining options at Plaza Frontenac. Our most recent shopping pilgrimage to the plaza was around lunch time, so we asked our sales associates as we shopped, where to have lunch and they all unanimously said, "Brick Top". They all recommended the same things, Burger or Fish Tacos. With so many endorsements and recommendations of good ideas we were sold. After shopping till we were ready to drop or starving to death, we headed out to Brick Top for a satisfying lunch. Our friend at the Omega watch store told us be sure to sit at the bar. He said the bartender always makes it a fun experience and he is right about that. Tammy and her coworker Steve, made sure that we were taken care of in style and we were only drinking ice tea with our meal. We started out with Deviled Eggs and Sugar Bacon. Three eggs sliced in half, deviled and three slices of gooey chewy bacon for $9. Highway robbery? Hell, yes. That is some major markup on three eggs and slices of bacon. Worth the $9? Not really, but that bacon was so sweet, chewy and good. The deviled eggs themselves, were just average, but I am glad I got to experience them. The Fish Tacos were Blackened Fish of the Day served in a soft tortilla shell with your typical taco garnishes. I normally am not a Fish Taco fan, but these had me scratching my head in wonderment as to why. I think it is because I had not experienced these little jewels before. The Blackened seasoning gave them a good kick of flavor and except for the side of fries, it was a healthy lunch. What sold me on the 4 Stars was my burger. It is proudly being placed #1 on my burger list. The lunch special was a Bleu Cheeseburger with your choice of slaw or fries. I went out of my comfort zone and I am so glad I did. By that I mean, typically I am not a Bleu Cheese type guy, but this was the bomb. Bleu Cheese burgers I've had or seen in the past basically just had a scoop of the cheese dolloped on top of the burger. Not this one, theirs was evenly melted across the entire burger and even had a golden bubble to it like a pizza cheese. I ordered mine medium and it seared and the perfect shade of pink inside for my taste. I agree with George, these are some of the best fries in town. Their house seasoning which has sugar in it, is what makes them stand above the rest. A big bonus for me is they serve ketchup in small cups with your order. I am not a fan of nasty ketchup bottles on the table. I may have to shop PF more often, it will give me an excuse to eat at Brick Top again and again.

Amazing French Dip and Mac and Cheese. Good fries too. Not a great selection of items and overpriced though. If they added a few items and got their prices to a realistic level they could be four or five stars

Great place for Sunday Brunch! Great waitstaff squeezing fresh oranges for mimosas or the Bloody Mary Bar. Yummy hot mini donuts with dipping sauce, cheese grits and fresh squeezed orange is a great way to start my day. Lots of brunch and lunch options available.

Nice establishment in an even nicer area. I have been here once and I was turned off immediately: I walked in and the host asked me if i was there to "fill out an application" instead of asking to sit me. I was flabbergasted that someone could be so ignorant and rude. But it was Friday and I was there early and as quickly as I was insulted I was becoming more forgiving, bite by bite. On Fridays BrickTop's has Lobster Rolls, but you have to be there early due to them only having a limited quantity. Let me tell you, getting there early and designating a Friday here for lunch is worth it. The Lobster Roll is truly amazing! Being in St. Louis it is different and refreshing. A great change of pace from the usual. Not often do I come across Lobster Rolls in St. Louis so I now make it a priority to make it to Brick Top's on Friday...

Wow, terrible customer service by management!! My friends and I dined there on May 31, the night of the tornado in StL. We ended up canceling our order to go home to our kids because of the severe storm/ tornado. The manager came out to tell us our food was already started and we should take it to go, and when we still insisted we didn't want the food, he brought it out in boxes and insisted we pay to take the food to go anyways.. It was very uncomfortable. He also sent his servers out in the storm (tornado sirens going off) to collect stemware... My friends and I were very worried about them, but weren't sure what to do. When I called to let someone know the situation was disconcerting (I did not request compensation, only called thinking they would want to know what kind of experience their customers had), the GM, Troy, promptly called me back and introduced himself by saying, "Let me tell you my version of the events.", continued by telling me my experience was incorrect and his manager and servers acted in nothing but appropriate/safe manners. At this point, I bid him a nice day. Clearly this is the type of customer service they expect from all levels of management. My friends and I will never be back...

We loved the bacon that came with the deviled egg appetizer. I got the fish tacos and my wife got the Bistro Chicken special. Both were very good. The Chocolate Chip dessert is a must order! On a nice day, ask to eat outside. Overall, this is a solid choice for dinner. Slightly pricey for what you get, but I would still recommend it and look forward to going back.

Overall, not very impressed with the food. It was just OK and not over the top great for the price. I had the fish tacos and they don't even compare to other places. They were loaded with guacamole and heavy mayonnaise coleslaw. It wasn't as fresh as I would like either. The fish had a fishy taste like it was sitting out too long before cooking. My daughter had the chicken strips but they tasted like they had been fried in old grease. Very greasy cheeseburger as well. We went right before the dinner rush so we didn't have to wait. Besides taking our order, the server didn't say more than two words to us. I don't think I will be coming back. I've had better.

Okay, for those of you who read my "yelps", you know I'm always with my sweetie, a.k.a. "bf", lol, but he was the one who discovered BrickTops and texted me about it. He was impressed, so I knew we were going soon. We had dinner here on Friday evening and at first I didn't know what to expect, but I trusted Vince's taste..humm... But as we walked in, we were greeted and we decided to sit outside in the patio area. The place was really nice - the bar area was able to look out onto the patio because the doors behind the bar slid open to it. It was breezy and nice and the patio area was lit with candles, adding a certain ambience to night, which was nice because Friday nigh is "Date Night" ;-). I wait staff was nice and took our orders. I had the sauteed spinach and lump crab cakes; Vince had the New York strip, which almosted melted in my mouth, yummy. All I can eat were the ends of a piece because he likes his beef to say "moo" when you poke it, LOL. Anyway, the food was good; the drinks were 'okay' - nothing like my Toostie Pop from one of my fav places. But all in all, service and food were good! I will definitely be back here; it was a nice atmosphere and a great place to relax and talk. The breeze was even nice! Maybe next time I'll try that New York Strip, but more preference and not Vince' s, Moo-Moo style.

Ate dinner there last night. The food was great! The service was good. The atmosphere was nice but VERY loud. I had the ribs with fries and cole slaw. The fries and slaw were some of the best I've ever had. The ribs were a little on the spicy side but good. My husband had a perfectly cooked medium rare prime rib and delicious creamed spinach. The portions were very generous. We will be back!

Went to Bricktops for the first time earlier today for lunch. This morning was freshman move in day at Webster University and I wanted to have a nice lunch with my son. We did just that. We both had burgers and fries and they were great. The service was quick and very attentive, especially considering our server was also tending bar. She recommended a local beer, Schafly's, it was a great call. I love wheat beers and this is a good one. The food, decor and service reminds me of J. Alexander's which happens to be another great place to grab a great burger. It was almost like being at home. Keep up the good work.

On the spur of the moment, we decided to stop in and check this place out. We should have planned ahead and made a reservation, but that's our own fault. The wait was about 30 minutes, so could have been worse. There were quite a few large groups with reservations that came in while we were waiting which I'm sure made the wait a little longer than usual. Me and my guy were both impressed with everything we had. I had the Cesar salad and filet Mignon. The salad was your traditional Cesar and the filet Mignon was truly tantalizing. Melted in my mouth and I savored every bite. He had the cauliflower and prime rib. He said the "mashed potato" cauliflower was delicious. And his prime rib, even better. We both loved the sauteed spinach with Parmesan. Seriously, one thing was better than the next, but then it wasn't because the last item was so yummy. I have not yet enjoyed the patio, but I'm sure it will be amazing. Fire pit and all!

I came here for lunch with my friend because she said that their chocolate chip cookie in a skillet dessert is one I would just die for. Thank goodness for friends who know you well -- otherwise, I would've missed out on their totally-lived-up-to-the-hype dessert! Of course I didn't just come here for the dessert. I decided to try their lunch filet (about $19), a 5 oz steak with a grilled tomato and a side (I just HAD to pick the three-cheese macaroni!). The filet was delicious and cooked to my specifications -- but a weebit small. The mac and cheese was also delightful and went perfectly with the steak. I didn't care for the grilled tomato -- it tasted a bit under-done and even the bed of parmesan cheese on top didn't do much to save it. And now on to the dessert. It is a MUST get. Fresh baked chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream -- seems so simple but yet so diviiinee. I look forward to coming up with random reasons to come back here soon!

I love this place. My girlfriends and I go here all the time! They have a great outdoor patio and offer great drinks. My favorite is definitely the prickly pear margarita. They also offer a really good brunch on the weekends. I LOVE the smoked salmon flatbread with dill, capers, and red onions- it's amazing! It's unfortunate that they took that flatbread off the menu and only offer it for brunch and specials. I rated the restaurant 3 stars because every time I go there I always experience really bad service. I'm pretty sure that is just this location because I have eaten at other locations in other cities and had excellent service. The bad service I am talking about is waiters having bad attitudes, talking to us about inappropriate things, also my biggest pet peeve is when one waiter takes my drink order, another delivers it, another person takes my food order, another delivers it, and by the end of the meal you have been waited on by 5 different people. I just don't know who to tip at that point.

I didn't know what to expect from BrickTop's. The weird humpbacking of the "T" in BrickTop's...the crayoned-looking logo on the terribly-designed website that seemed to belie a Panera-type dining experience...but then there was the menu, with the carpaccio and the ahi tuna and the prime rib... Well, as it turns out, BrickTop's is a very small casual fine-dining chain; there are currently 6 in operation. Quick synopsis: Ever been to J. Alexander's, Houston's, or Redstone? Like those? You'll like this. I would wager my dog that an area director from one of those companies started BrickTop's. And I really love my dog. That's how sure I am. We had a reservation but it appeared it wouldn't have been absolutely essential (it was 8 on a Tuesday). I don't know what it is about patios, but I am like a moth to a flame-- if there is one, and it's not snowing (meh, even if it is, probably), I have to sit outside. So we did-- there are heaters built in, though, so I do like that they've probably got that sucker open well into the fall. Service itself was impeccable but unobtrusive-; again, if you've ever been to the places above, there's a style of service they all use that BrickTop's also uses. The Caesar salad and the lobster bisque were both excellent and came out super quickly. For entrees, we got the filet and the crab cakes-- I was reeeeeally happy with my filet. It wasn't the best cut I'd ever had, but it was perfectly rare and well-seasoned. The crab cakes were also excellent-- prepared well, not super heavy. As far as sides-- THEY HAVE DEVILED EGGS, Y'ALL. This was very exciting but they were just okay; there's something in them that made them a bit sweet, which we didn't love. Still have to try them. The sauteed spinach was good but not exceptional. For dessert, their signature is a chocolate chip cookie baked in a skillet and topped with ice cream; it's derivative, again (hi, BJ's Brewhouse Pizookie!), but a warm cookie with ice cream is still a warm cookie with ice cream, ya know? I'll take it. BrickTop's isn't anything groundbreaking, but it's great for what it is, and that genre of restaurant just happens to be right in my wheelhouse. Wouldn't take a special trip out of Soulard to go, but I'd definitely go again if I were near Plaza Frontenac.

I didn't really enjoy my meal the first time Jon and I ate at Bricktops because... holy salt! I should probably preface that by saying that I love salt. I mean, I LOVE it. I just never imagined not being able to finish a dish due to the excessive amount of salt. I ordered the rotisserie chicken with fries. Honestly, I couldn't taste anything besides salt, so I'm not really even sure how the chicken tasted. Jon ordered the steak frites and he really liked it. The steak was cooked perfectly and the fries were thin and crispy. We also ordered some spinach artichoke dip that was delicious, and because of this, I wanted to give this place another shot. The second time we dined at Bricktops, I ordered the sauteed trout and a baked potato. Jon stuck with his original steak order. This time, my food was excellent. The baked potato was the best I've ever had. We were also a little disappointed in that their menu changes pretty frequently. I understand that some restaurants have menus that change, but that change is usually due to the fact that the restaurant uses seasonal items and creates a rotating menu based upon the availability of those seasonal items. Based on the menu and the items that had been taken off of the menu, their reasoning was not based upon the seasonal availability of some ingredients. This was pretty disappointing given the fact that Jon and I ordered the mac-n-cheese the first time around, and it was SO good. When we went back, it was no where to be found. My reasons for three instead of four stars: in my opinion, the prices are a little high, they use too much salt, and certain items are not consistently on the menu.

First the food. Found it to be extremely salty. Overpoweringly salty. If you have hypertension or don't really love excessive salted food stay away. I have always believed salt should enhance the flavor of the food, not overpower it. Second the noise level. If you want a quiet place where you can talk to and hear your companions, this is not it. I know other reviewers found the noise level to be low but when we were there it was noisy and difficult to hear each other. Finish your review

I had a great experience at BrickTops - very impressed. I love the building and décor, very modern but still comfortable and welcoming. I love their patio and the fans are a huge plus in case it's a hot day. We started with drinks; I had Kim Crawford (by the glass, hard to find - score!) and my Mom enjoyed a watermelon martini with a frozen watermelon ball in the drink to keep it cool. We had the grilled artichoke and deviled eggs with sugar bacon for starters. My Mom was hesitant about the eggs because she thought it sounded odd, but the waiter mentioned they were known for them, so I had to give them a try. We thoroughly enjoyed both appetizers. The deviled eggs were great and you got a huge serving size for an appetizer. The sugar bacon was actually served on the side - not as a part of the deviled egg, and it was delicious! The grilled artichoke was our favorite - three large halves of an artichoke came out with blackened grill marks still steaming. It was a huge appetizer, two people could easily split. The aioli on the side was great, it actually made the dish. I'm so used to seeing artichoke served heavily breaded loaded with butter, so it was a nice change having it grilled, and it actually tasted better that way! After sharing both appetizers, we were stuffed and couldn't even order a meal! Word to the wise, if you want to enjoy a bit of everything on the menu, split one appetizer and meal. I noticed the deviled eggs came as a side dish as well, so that would have probably been the perfect serving size for me rather than the huge appetizer platter. Their dinner menu looked excellent - if we would have ordered we were going to split the crab cakes or the crab cake salad. Our server was attentive, the atmosphere was relaxed and casual and the food was excellent. We will definitely be back to try more of their menu. I do like Brio, but BrickTops might be my new favorite!

We went there for supper. We have been there before for lunch and found it decent if not unremarkable. The food is expensive. The server was very nice, efficient and professional. However, the dinner meal was again unremarkable. The menu was quite limited for dinner. The luncheon menu is better with more choices in our food liking. The tuna was good and the pasta was ok. Again, the service was excellent. We will return I am sure, but just not real soon.

Service was very very good but this is St. Louis there are better places for a lot less money. I had the ahi tuna burger good flavor had to send the first one back it was dry. The spinach dip app was the best app. The waiter said the candied bacon and deviled eggs was really good but it was just a lot of sweet and the bacon did not have enough salt to offset the really sweetness of whatever they coat the bacon with. The Caesar salad was a little small for $15 and you'll still be hungry. Try the burger the do a decent burger but who doesn't. Don't answer that plenty of people don't. DON'T GO HERE THINKING YOU'RE GOING TO GET SOMETHING YOU CAN'T GET SOMEWHERE ELSE BETTER!

This restaurant is located on the north parking lot of Plaza Frontenac on the Saks Fifth Avenue end. Parking is going to be an issue every time you come because Brio's and Panera Bread are also located off this parking lot. I had to park on the west lot, north end of the property. Second thing, I would advise that you make reservations for lunch, dinner or brunch. We had a reservation and we still had to wait about 15 minutes after our reservation time to be seated. People walking in around 12:30 pm on a Friday were told that the wait would be around 45-60 minutes. The decor is a low key contemporary design with a lot of wood to make the place feel warm. We were seated at a table. The chairs were comfortable. There were 5 of us and it was comfortable at the table. I ordered their Lobster Bisque to start with and the Vermont Cheddar Bacon Cheeseburger as my meal. The Lobster Bisque was very good. It is a red cream sauce type soup with chunks of lobster sprinkled on top with chives. The temp of the soup could have been a little hotter, but it was very yummy. My burger was cooked at medium and it was tasty. I don't think I got the cheddar cheese, because it tasted like swiss. The bacon was cooked nice and crisp and not burnt. Perfect. The burger came with either fries or cole slaw. I had the fries. They were of the shoe string variety. Very good. The give you a metal cup of ketchup. Nice presentation, but not useful if you want to pour your ketchup over your fries like i do or make a puddle of ketchup next to it. I will say that the food is good. we had decent service. However, the price is outrageously high! I paid $12 for my burger. I know that this is on the high end in St. Louis.

Ordered the Cobb salad for lunch minus the blue cheese... It was mediocre at best. Hardly any salad and loaded with so much bacon it was impossible to taste the other ingredients. This was a to go order otherwise I would have complained to them...will not order this ever again...

Was pleasantly surprised with BrickTop's. The fish tacos were superb as was the service. They were somewhat busy but we found a booth in the bar. The service was superb and the fish tacos were the best I've ever had. The prices were fair, which was a surprise given that this restaurant is located next to one of the most chi chi places to shop in all of St. Louis! I'll be back again, for sure.

OK. Nice decor and attentive service. I had the overpriced Midwestern fish tacos. I was there at lunch time, but did not have to wait. All-in-all, not the kind of place one goes for a leisurely lunch. I am retired and just like to hang out for a bit. I would not do it here. Better food and cheaper price are available at any number of places.

We had a nice lunch of fish and chips and a chicken salad. Food was great, prepared well, and the atmosphere was ok. For lunch it was not worth $36.00 without tip. Really! There are plenty of other restaurants with better food for less money. I am not sure of why the higher prices but not really worth it. Just a one time experience.

WOW! The food was great, and the service was better. It was a warm day, and we sat outside on the veranda - for being in a parking lot in Frontenac, the atmosphere was pretty stunning. I had a salad that fed me for two more meals; my family had various sandwiches and burgers that they all raved about for the whole ride home. Definitely try this place ASAP.

Here in business and this is across the street from the Hilton. Was seated immediately but I was only a party of 1 on a weeknight. Gracious attentive server assured me I would like the prime rib. Ordered it medium rare which is always a gamble as many establishments give you roast beef or a living creature. This was perfect and the at jus was delicious not overly salty and just the perfect amount of taste. Generous portion for the price and indeed perfectly medium rare as prime rib should be cooked. Has the fries with it and they were thin cut and delicious and also added a Caesar salad. Should have passed on the salad as I was stuffed but it was delicious.

BrickTop's in Frontenac is all the rage! And understandable so! You should get there early if you are going on a weekend; reservations are a must - even if you are eating at 5:30 PM on a Saturday like we did. The wedge salad is superb and comes with delicious warm baked bread with delicious butter spreads too. Love the dark, warm atmosphere in the restaurant and our server Kevin was amazing. He set the tone and it lasted for two hours until we left the restaurant. Ordered prime rib along with baked potatoe . . . oh so good. I always get it medium rare and the portion and taste did not disappoint. And since it was for my birthday celebration (even though it is really in October), our wonderful neighbor Steve Gant tipped us ogg to ordering the warm chocolate chip cookie that is served in an iron skillet, along with caramel sauce over a HEALTHY portion of vanilla bean ice cream. The sparkler sticking out of the ice cream made everyone in our section of the restaurant wish they were getting one at the moment. BrickTop's did not disappoint and truly was delicious. I would suggest reservations for during the week and a MUST if you are planning on going over the weekend. They are located at 10342 Clayton Road in Frontenac - just west of Lindbergh and Clayton Roads. Hoping to go again soon!!! Enjoy.

I have eaten at Brick Top's several times since it opened. From the friendly greeting and quick seating, to the interesting and delicious food selection, to the courteous wait staff, everything makes for a very pleasant meal out. My latest visit they happened to run out of their unique side dish of deviled eggs. The manager came over to apologize and told us that if we were still there when the new batch were finished that he would bring some over. Meanwhile he removed the charge. Sure enough, he brought two to-go boxes of the eggs as we were preparing to leave. He talked about his love of the restaurant, the preparation of all fresh foods, and gave us a brief history of the chain. It's that kind of consideration and courtesy to customers that makes them stand out. The food is wonderful, and the prices don't seem out of line for the quality. Give it a try!

My family LOVES this place!! It's pricey, so we only go for date nights or special occasions, but the food is SO worth it. We have particularly been impressed by the seafood. Great seafood dishes seem hard to come by in the STL area. I recommend anything on the special menu! The service here is also spectacular, and I plan to take visiting friends/family here every time they are in town!

I had lunch here on Friday on the patio and it was absolutely fantastic! Our server was nice and attentive and the atmosphere had a certain Southern charm. Fitting since this is a chain restaurant based in the South. I had a Cobb salad and was impressed by the high quality of ingredients and presentation. My mom had a lobster roll sandwich and she also was happy with her food. I will say that the only negative is that it was a little overpriced for lunch. My salad was $15 and the lobster roll was $18. It may have to be a special occasion lunch and dinner spot, but a must try!

This was a great dining experience with exception to one thing -- the presentation. When you are spending $85 - $100 for a two person dinner, you would expect the food presentation to reflect the price range, it just didn't. I had the Sirloin Meatloaf (which I highly recommend) with Mashed Potatoes -- they food came on a solid white plate with absolutely no garnish. It looked as if it was just plopped on the plate and brought out. It's the little things that help put you over the top -- I can't give higher than 4 stars when they can't spend the second or two it would take to make the food look as good as it tastes. The atmosphere was fun and loud (but not so loud that you can't hear). The beer selection was good. I recommend this restaurant, but if they read the reviews I recommend that they put a little effort into the presentation.

New place on an outlot at Plaza Frontenac. Was going to go to Sugo, or Via Vino, but both looked crowded. Had a movie timeline, so time was a concern. Bricktop is an upscale chain, with fairly high prices in general. Entrees are 20-30 dollars. Since I had not read reviews other than my yelp app reviews, I was going stealth on this one. Place was very crowded, with a short wait. Ended up with a burger (good, but certainly not the best in St. Louis), and the swapped out the fries and for an additional buck gave me a decent wedge salad. Food came out quickly and service was good. Not sure I would hurry back, but it was good overall. Pricey area and this place fits in.

I wasn't sure about this restaurant when it was first suggested to me, the outside made me think it was a casual pizza joint. I have now been three times and love this place. The service is amazing and the food is delicious. The crab cakes were some of the best I have ever had, tons of lump crab meat, little breading, not greasy and a big enough portion to be a real meal. The deviled eggs are amazing, personally I prefer them without the sugar bacon but either way you can't go wrong. I have also had their cobb salad and salmon - nothing has disappointed me. Love this place!

Going to a movie 12/23/11 and walked over here. It was lunch time, there was a short wait for tables but we found a spot at the bar. Couple bartenders working and everyone was friendly and helpful. I asked about a couple beers on tap and she gave a sample of each for me to try. I had the Steak and Fries, perfectly cooked (med rare) steak, fries are more shoestring than big steak fries, but still good and crisp. Wife had the trout, also excellent and more than she could finish in a sitting. Also had a Ceasar Salad, which was average, nothing specifically wrong, but just average. (I would probably try the wedge next time.) All around, one of the better lunches I've had in a while.

I have been to brick top twice now. I would say that they Brunch here is way better than the dinner. I was not overly impressed with dinner here. That atmosphere is romantic, and casual. The service has been wonderful both times. I actually had the same server when i went in for dinner for new years eve and as i did for a girlfriends luncheon in the summer. I couldnt really find anything on the menu that was apeasing to me and for the price. I ended up getting the filet. It was average. The macaroni and cheese side was really good, but I think for the price it was sub par quality. The brunch menu has more variety and unique food items on it, and for the price it seems to me a better deal than dinner. The atmosphere was trying to be more romantice and sheek like a chez leon or sydney street but thedinner food was average like a tgifridays or a texas roadhouse. I would go back for brunch but not for dinner.

I've been here twice, once for lunch and once for dinner. I've got to say the food is great (had the crab cakes for lunch and the chicken fiesta type salad for dinner), the service is excellent and the atmosphere is very nice/swanky. But the prices are outrageous and the portions are pretty small.... If I could afford a $20-$30 lunch or a $40-$60 dinner I would go back, but it's just too much in my mind.

Excellent food and service and perfect for the Frontenac area of St. Louis. Attentive staff and flawless service, miraculous for a first week opening.

I've eaten there several times and always had great food. The Artichoke app & Fish tacos are both great!

The excellent service is what sets this restaurant apart from other high end chains. The crab cakes were some of the best I've ever had, but the spinach artichoke dip was sub par. The chips were very thin and the dip was too heavy on the cheese. Also, be prepared to wait upwards of an hour for dinner service on the weekend. Overall a good experience.

A large group of us dined here about 3 months after it opened. Decor was minimal, contemporary, drab. Wait staff was amazing. Excellent service. Food did not mirror the excellent service. Prices high for ok food that was, however, displayed attractively. Fish tacos $15 for 2 tiny fish sticks on grocery store quality tortillas. Temperature of fresh green beans tepid. Meatloaf made with ground sirloin was tasty, but about the size of a breakfast muffin, $18 with a handful of pasta. Cobb Dinner Salad, $16, was a portion size of about a cup. The hit of the night was the Parmesan Crusted Chicken, $20. Very busy and very noisy dining room. Outside seating looked very pleasant. It won't be a first choice for future dining.

Atrocious! This truly was one of the worst dining experiences I have experienced. in years. As a family, we eat out at least once a week and as a couple, my husband and i eat out at least 2-3 times a week, so we have pretty much have eaten everywhere in st louis. Once, we were seated, a waiter took our drink orders without introducing herself, then another about ten minutes later asked for our orders without any introduction. We had no idea he was our waiter and had to ask him if he was. The waiter was surly at best. Completely distinterested in our table.Wine ordered, no wine taste, heavy pour, no wine bucket for white wine. Food was barely edible but that was about it. i had the tenderloin flatbread, it was soggy and the carmelized onions overwhlemed the flavors. We were never once asked how our meal was. Brios, Sugos, Cardwells, via vino, truffles, etc are so much better and the same price range. Amateur restaurant at best. Good luck, we will never be back.
