A local favorite that has been a fixture in Fredericktown for the past 65 years (and the building looks like it's at least that old). I'll start out by saying this is obviously not a fancy place or even the best place to eat in town. The building honestly doesn't look like much from the outside. However it has a certain amount of charm so I have to consider myself "a fan". This is basically a fast-food joint with almost all of the menu items dripping in grease and devoid of any nutritional value. Except for a few dinner platters, all of the items are sold invidiually (meaning if you want fries with your burger you have to buy them separately). The menu is very broad with many assorted burgers and grilled sandwiches as well as fried vegetables to satisfy any craving. My personal fave is their BBQ sandwiches. The sandwiches themselves are nothing more than toasted bread slices with sliced meat in between them, but I have to say that I love the sauce and actually add more to my sandwich. I also like getting their "3 little pig" burgers. Service is actually fairly decent for this type of place and the food usually comes out pretty quick if they are not too busy. Those hoping for an atmosphere similar to Sonic or Hardee's will be sorely disappointed. But those with a craving for junk food and looking for something simple should check this place out.

Out in MO on a hunting trip. First of all, it's not on high st, so we had to ask locals for directions. "down there on the left...can't miss it" was the directions we got from two different locals..from two different spots in town. After 15 minutes of driving around we found it. We ordered BBQ pork sandwiches which were like 2 slices of pork on over toasted (grocery store bought) white bread. Thinest sandwich I've ever had. Homemade hotsauce was poor, so I was left with the small amount of BBQ sauce that was spread on the wonderbread. Really really disappointing because it looks like a good 'ol BBQ type place and we expected more.

My favourite treat is to drive all the way down for a toasted white bread sliced pork sandwich. Have yet to find any Q like this. There's a place in Ironton that's pretty good, but more "new style"...pulled pork on a bun. This Ol School place is sliced tender pork on toasted bread, sauce on and/or on the side. Vanilla Pepsi or Vanilla Coke is required as well. Their BBs are quite nice and the tater salad is good as well and I am pickey about me tater salad.

It's simple easy and cheap the cheese fries and the baked beans are good the service is good and the food was brought out in a timely manner although this is not a place I would return to

If there were a way to give them zero stars I would. This place is as trashy as they come. All of the food on the menu is frozen and they short you on all off their meat. This is supposed to be a barbecue place and I don't think they even have a smoker. The only smoke you will find at the pig comes from the owner as he lights one up right behind you wife and six month old son.

Always make a trip here when in MO. Classic atmosphere and great simple food. Grandfather grew up in Fredericktown in the 50s and 60s and has the best memories of this place. The whole family orders multiple triple hots and packs them in a cooler to take back to Florida!
