Worse buffet I have ever been to. Food is garbage, staff is rude, selection is pitiful and the place is filthy. The place is always empty, I do not know how they stay in business. There is a much nicer buffet a few miles down on Lindbergh, skip this place and drive down there you will be very glad you did.

I've been going here for ages, since I was a kid. Best Chinese in North County. I don't often do buffet, I normally order take out, but when I have had the buffet it was been very good. Their crab rangoon is my absolute favorite- not too sweet with a lot of filling. Yum!

I looked at the reviews on my way to this restaurant and was honestly scared but I am so glad I went! The food was amazing. The guy who sat us down and everything was very nice. That is the best Chinese food from a buffet I have ever had. Honestly think it's better than Panda Express. So everyone stop giving bad reviews cause it's good and nothing needs to change!

Been going here for years for the buffet. One of the better hot-and-sour soup that i've had; also now have tom-yum soup. Nothing fancy, but the food & service have always been good.

Over all, it's just okay, but for the area, it's good. If you find yourself in the Lindbergh/Hwy 67 and New Halls Ferry area of Florissant, you will quickly discover you don't have many choices for good Chinese and even fewer with dine-in or a Buffet line. The restaurant is larger than many Chinese restaurants, it has about 30 tables (4 chars to table), and couple television screens playing the news or daytime tv. The restaurant's decor gives it a somewhat comfortable and warm feeling. The buffet is 3 hot-carts long, with a small desert cart on the side. The lunch and dinner buffets are not significantly different; the dinner buffet has a couple additional selections, but not enough for the price. With a dinner buffet price of around $13 per person (including drink), you could get a better deal elsewhere, but not close. They do let you get the buffet to-go, and the price is based on weight. The buffet white rice is in a hot tray (and not a steamer), so it's usually dry, but they have a large steamer of white rice behind the counter. So, if you like white rice with your to-go buffet, order the rice separate (from behind the counter). The food quality and taste is again just ok. It will be satisfying, but I haven't found a dish that is so good, that I would recommend it or go back just for that dish. Although, if we are driving home from work, and we don't feel like cooking, we sometimes call ahead and get a takeout order. Not because it's good, but just because it's easy. The take-out service is popular, and they allow you to call in your order ahead of time and pick it up. This service is always fast. Some of the prices are reasonable, others are a little high. Their fried rice is a reasonable bargain, and they provide plenty of meat (or vegetables) in the fried rice. As far as your money goes, I would watch them very carefully. I've had more than one incident where they miscounted my change. The worst part is, they got very defensive and rude when it happened. Each time it took much longer than it should have to resolve the issue. The staff and owners are not very customer oriented, but they have gotten much better in the past couple years. Business is all about location, location, location, and that really helps this place out. If you in the area, it will be an average-at-best experience. If you compare this with the other Chinese Restaurants in the area, it will be among the best. But, it can't compete if compared with the others in the St. Louis greater metro.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
