I hate to leave a three-star review as the first review for this yogurt shop, but I just didn't care for it. YoFresh is a chain. I had not heard of it until I saw this one pop up in the Gravois Bluffs area. They have a retro '80s/'90s color scheme of hot pink and neon green. I don't like using the term "retro" to describe those decades, but I imagine the majority of the froyo demographic considers those decades to be retro. This YoFresh has six yogurt machines with two flavors in each machine and the option to swirl those two flavors together. The topping bar had what you would expect to find at a yogurt shop. I probably don't need to list examples. One nice thing about the topping bar was that everything was covered when it wasn't in use. Between customers, for example, an employee would lower the lid over the cold toppings presumably to keep them cold and to prevent unnecessary exposure to air. The employees were very friendly. They offered sample cups in case I wanted to try anything. I ended up purchasing peanut butter and coconut. I love peanut butter, but in this case, I preferred the coconut yogurt. I did not know this at the time of my purchase, but they actually have a large cup and a smaller cup. That's nice because most places have a large cup and a larger cup, both of which enable me to get much more yogurt than I need. All of the things I've mentioned are really great, but the yogurt wasn't for me. It didn't seem very creamy. It reminded me of Yo My Goodness, which I typically find to be kind of runny, icy, or not mixed well. My yogurt certainly wasn't awful, but there are other yogurt shops that I prefer. That's just me, though. You might enjoy it, and I don't want to discourage you from giving it a go. They hadn't been open long when I stopped in, so maybe they were still working out the kinks. The yogurt is $0.49 per ounce, and I'd recommend starting with the smaller cup. :)

I have to agree with a previous review. We paid $5 for a cup of yogurt, left and started eating it. There definitely was a chemical type taste that was disgusting. Drove across the street to a competitor's store and threw the cup in a trash can. Went inside to get a cup of delicious tasting yogurt where it was also free waffle cone day! Not sure what is wrong with the recipe at YoFresh, but they better fix it, or I predict they'll be closing before too long.

Hard to mess up with a few self serve frozen yogurt machines, right? Wrong. Two of the machines were spitting out pure liquid. The cashier said she didn't know why but her boss told her it was normal. Ok..... Finally got some flavors that were the correct consistency and they tasted like weird chemicals. Almost like sanitizer water or something. I don't think things are getting cleaned correctly. Paid $10 for two cups of yogurt and threw them out the minute we got home. Yuck.

Yo fresh is amazing has wonderful interesting choices. Friendly staff, and calm wonderful atmosphere.

Yogurt tasted like bitter chemicals. It can't be normal, but reading everybody else's review, it scares me that for over 3 months, they still have cleaning chemicals in the food. We bought, walked out, then ate one spoon of cotton candy and gagged. We threw it out. Then i held hope out for the vanilla. It was like tart, sour milk. So after going out for frozen yogurt, we came home empty handed and $10 in the hole.

Pretty bummed. We don't go out for ice cream much we decided to stop here on our way home. Some of the machines appeared to have been switched off. The vanilla was so I went for that. This might have been the worst vanilla I've had. It had an odd chemical taste to. I don't see us going back.
