First thing I noticed when I walked in was the cool autographs found all over the tasting room and bathrooms. It was a busy afternoon and the place was full. They are under construction building an outdoor pavilion that looks like it will be pretty cool when they are done. They charge $5 to do a tasting of a few wines (which I don't like, but each their own). The lady doing the tasting was friendly and we were able to buy a bottle to take home.

This is owned by a very friendly family. We like their "Two Brothers" sweet wine. It is a great compliment to chinese food. Yes, we admit, we have bought a case. When they have a band playing it is a very pleasant place to sit back and listen to the music and enjoy wine.

Once we hit every winery in Ste. Genevieve that we wanted to, I saw a sign for Twin Oaks and decided that since we still had daylight hours left to burn, we should check this place out as well. We trekked out to Farmington and pulled in to what was a beautiful facility. They had a fun "Caution, Adults Playing" sign out front in their parking lot, which already indicated that this place had character to it. We walked in and were pleased with the ambiance and the friendliness of the owner. All of the wines and sangrias were quite excellent too. They also have their share of events that they host which sounded quite fun and would recommend checking out; we want to return for their grape stomping contest one day.

We spent over an hour at Twin Oaks Vineyard the Saturday after Christmas, on the way to our Christmas Eve celebration which had been postponed due to a death in our extended family. Had someone told me that a winery in MO has Gone with the Wind and other movie memorabilia, including autographs, I would have been there sooner. I don't know how legitimate this memorabilia is, but the tasting room attendant had a good enough story, so I'm going to believe it is. My companion had the traminette, and I recall appreciating the Two Brothers sweet wine. The tasting room attendant was very conversational and told us about the history of the winery. When our tasting was over, we were encouraged to go take a walk and explore the vineyard. No one has ever offered that anywhere else, and I'd never thought to ask before. I took a brisk walk all over the vineyard. Thank you, Twin Oaks.

Great place, wine, and service. It was difficult to find the place with GPS so go about 1 mile paced marked location and you should see sign.
