The food is excellent ans so is the service. I love their loaded baked potatoes. The service is fast and the meal comes to you hot.

Meh... Baked Potato was dry and my steak lacked any seasoning, but was spot on for a medium heat. The glass of wine tasted as though the bottle had been opened quite some time ago. Salad was decent. Rolls were tasty. Waiter brought honey and butter out to the table. Peanuts were also on the table. The best thing- was the service. The waiter was a younger guy that was very attentive to anything that I needed. Checked back occasionally, but not excessively. I had everything that I needed. So. .. good service. Ok- food.

0 for 3 here. Have sampled steak, chicken, and ribs. None of these entrees were what I'd call memorable. Actually, they were below average at best. I think it was more of a preparation than a flavor issue however. All were considerably overcooked. Can do without the peanuts everywhere, but I'm not a fan of the Roadhouses either. The waitstaff was less than attentive on 2 of the 3 occasions.

Had a great (Del Rio) Steak. There were ten of us in our group. Everyone loved it. Plenty of food. Great service. Definitely on our list when we go back next year. If visiting the Bonne Terre Mine, definitely worth the quick ten mile ride south and check it out.

Shouldn't have gone on a busy night. This restaurant still has a smoking section. I can't remember the last time I was asked smoking or non. While waiting for our table I stood too close to the bar. When I got home I reeked of smoke. Our table of two ordered drinks, appetizer and two steaks with salad. The drinks and appetizer came out quickly. When we were almost done with the appetizer someone brought out our steaks (salads totally skipped). The runner wanted to leave the steaks while he checked on the salads. I'd rather my meal not get cold while the salads are located. So I sent them back. Our waitress came out and said something like, "I thought I gave you guys the salads." As if they were hiding in my pocket. When we were 3/4 of the way through our salads our waitress brought out the steaks that were clearly dying in the window instead of being remade. They were dry and lukewarm not fresh. The only apology, including the female manager who stopped by, came at the end when the waitress brought the check. More as if she were trying to save her tip than genuinely caring that the meal didn't go well. I absolutely can't stand it when a restaurant rushes me through dinner on their schedule. Next time I'm in Farmington and looking for a place to go on date night I'll probably look elsewhere. If you want to have a nice meal, not just food, then go somewhere else.

Whenever we see a Colton's on the way we have to stop. This location had excellent service clean facility, and awesome steakhouse food.

I ate here for the first time a week ago with some friends, and I really enjoyed my experience. the restaurant sits pretty far back off the main road so it's hard to find. they offer peanuts to eat while your sitting there waiting so b prepared to see peanuts everywhere. Our waitress was somewhat efficient, but not the best in the world, however the sirloin that I ordered was done deliciously well, and so that really made up for the somewhat mediocre service. the two friends that were with me unfortunately didn't appreciate their meal as much as I did, so I don't imagine they will be making a second trip. I am a major steak kind of guy, so I will return to sample the other fares the restaurant has to offer on its menu. Smoking is allowed in the restaurant at least in the section I was in, so it was a little smokey for my eating tastes..

Colton's is a decent place to eat with food that is fair quality for the price. Though it's a steakhouse, the steaks are actually my least favorite thing on the menu. I think their chicken dishes (favorites are the Loaded Chicken and the Southwest Chipotle Tips) and appetizers are far and away better than the beef. They have a nice list of appetizers and a full bar area if that's your cup of tea (or glass of beer so to speak), and they have All You Can Eat peanuts with the tradition of throwing the empty shells on the floor. Service at this location has always been very good and decent food. I won't give it 4 or 5 stars as it is very standard in my opinion but at the price point I still leave as a happy customer.

The Southwest Chicken salad is good as is the Tortilla soup. I was unhappy with the smoky atmosphere that came over to the non-smoking center seating area.

I have been to numerous Colton's across Arkansas and Missouri. We were starting to be hesitant to visit them due to declining experiences, but this was the best food and service we have ever had at a Colton's. They go all out for the customers and the food was hot and delicious. Very pleasurable visit.

Really not happy with our visit today. We showed up at about 3:20. Our waitress was prompt in coming over and getting or drink requests and app order. Our sweet tea was brought out around 3:25 and we ordered entrees. There was an issue with my husband's straw, so she said she'd get another. Our app came around 3:35, which is about normal wait time. The plates brought with it were dirty. My husband had to request a straw again, as one still hadn't been brought to him. It was brought along with rolls about a minute later. At 4:00, I had to inquire about our salads. 35 minutes is a little ridiculous for a salad. They were brought about 5 minutes later. My husband ordered a house salad with Caesar dressing, but was brought a Caesar salad. My house salad was so full of carrots and cheese that it was almost inedible. There were no onions or croutons. I ate all of the greens and the bowl was still half full of carrot pieces and cheese. About 4:18, our waitress comes out and tells us that our order didn't go through and she has to retake it. Mind you, this is an hour after we arrived. We debate on leaving but decide to stay. While I left for the restroom, our food finally came out around 4:30. My husband's steak was undercooked. He ordered medium well. He sent his back. I sat back down to see that my steak was also undercooked. Our waitress stops to inquire as to why only one of us had food and we explained the issue and she took my steak back to fix it. When she brought them back out, she proceeded to tell us how we need to order next time. "You have to tell them you want them done done if you don't want any pink." We eat at Coltons at least once every 2 weeks. Well done is a pretty universal straight forward term. We have never had any establishment misunderstand what well done means. I would have loved to speak with the manager, but after sitting there for almost 2 hours, we couldn't wait to leave. We watched several groups come in after us, and they were all served and had left before us.
