Diabetics at Pizza Hut
Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.
Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:
You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.
Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

If you really insist on going here, do yourself a favor and call to order your pizza beforehand. I'm not sure what all is involved in the process of masterfully crafting those mediocre Pizza Hut pizzas but it apparently takes at least a full 45 minutes. Oh and if you're sitting at the restaurant waiting, be sure to check in with the staff to see if it's ready -my pizza just so happened to miraculously be ready at the exact moment I asked... 15 minutes later than they said it would take. Maybe if their employees didn't sit around bs - ing with customers and actually make pizzas they would have more than 2 stars.

Last resort. Poor quality food and the lunch buffet is not to be desired. Go somewhere else

This is the worst Pizza Hut I have ever ordered from. Firstly, the order took close to 2 hours to get delivered. When I called to check on the status after 100 mins, I was told that the pizza had just been taken out of the oven and will be delivered very shortly. When I received it, Voila! It was cold. Not even a little warm, plain cold! A pizza that was taken out 5-10 mins was cold on a hot summer night! Too much of pizza sauce and that made the entire pizza soggy when I tried re-heating it. The toppings tasted funny and dry, cheese half baked. Overall, One of the worst pizza joints I have eaten a pizza at. The 1 star is for the delivery kid who atleast tried to make a conversation before taking his tip and apologized for the delay in the order. Wouldn't recommend it to any of my friends and definitely not going to order from this place ever again.

I rarely have a bad experience with the food from this location. What really brings this location down is the employees and management. I always place my order several hours in advance so I can pick it up on my way to work. Half the time it's not ready when I get there, and the other half of the time I think they made it as soon as the order was placed (sometimes a couple hours in advance) and then let it sit in the warmer until I get there. Most of the inhouse staff is rude (the driver's have always been polite when they deliver), will make you wait while they finish a conversation with a coworker about non-work related things (OMG, Becky, I don't care who asked you out! Just give me my food. Side note: if there is a Becky at this location it wasn't her; I picked a random name) Tonight 9/5/2015 they ran out of dough. Seriously?! What pizza place doesn't order enough dough for 1: a Saturday night, and 2: is the first Mizzou home game? I placed my order about an 1.5 hours in advance to be picked up on my way to work, like I do about twice a month, and I get there to pick it up, they make me wait 10 minutes before they'll even look for my pizza, and then they tell me that it never got made because they're out of dough. Really? To make matters worse the one responsible employee in the building who was actually trying to take charge (Hannah, a CSR) was trying to call all of the managers to figure out what to do and not a single one would answer their phone. What kind of restaurant runs on the busiest night of the week without a manager?

Absolutely awful. Used to be one of our 'go to places', but now it is so bad I REFUSE to go there. So many bad experiences. One time we set down and there was only 1 other table of people there (2 people) and of course us. We walked out after waiting 20 minutes and still nobody had even taken out drink order. Another time we ordered food (I got the chicken alfredo and husband got wings) and his wings came out after about 25 minutes, and my meal didn't come out for another 40 to 50 minutes AFTER HIS. Appetizers never come out before entrées, usually come out when your almost done with entrée. Salad bar is usually good though, that's the only positive here. I have also ordered take out from here before and waited 15 minutes at window before anyone came to window (even though about 4 employees looked straight at me). When ordering delivery it's always cold. I could go on and on with bad experiences but you should get the point by now. Unless you want just want salad bar, do not go here. Update: decided to give it another shot. It was a mistake. This place is a joke! They have no idea what customer service is. Cheese sticks were inedible hockey pucks and they only took 1 dollar off. Not to mention they charged a dollar for an extra sauce, one sauce!! Ugh. Ignorant asshats.

I've ordered from this Pizza Hut multiple times and never received the right order. If I'm lucky enough to get the pizza before its cold (which is rare) it's always missing something. I could understand one bad experience, but I've literally never had a single good experience with this store. I won't be ordering from Pizza Hut in Columbia anymore.
(1)Chance B.
Having worked for 2 different pizza huts when I was a teen, it would have to be insanely bad for me to go to yelp. I was in town for business when I ordered a pizza/wings which took an hr and half to get to the hotel (from across the street & at NON prime time) showed up half done & doughy, wrong toppings, smooshed like something heavy was on it, and wings (as it being impossible to mess up considering their pre prepared) missing the ranch.

Great service and very friendly. Very helpful nice after dealing with a bad customer. Very fast for a walk in order.

:) I see happy kids... Everywhere. ;) Our waitress forgot us when we went in last.
(3)Jennifer M.
We decided to dine in one night. Worst idea ever. The waitress took our order, and tried to repeat it back to us. She got it wrong. Way wrong. She couldn't remember the crust we wanted, the topping choice of my half of the pizza or the sauce on the wings we ordered. After 10 minutes of waiting she comes back over saying there was a "glitch" with the registers and it didn't save our order. She again tried to repeat our order back and got it wrong AGAIN! While we waited some more my boyfriend sat with an empty glass the whole time. Our wings came out and they were nothing like the same wings I'd gotten other times. Instead of nice chunk of white meat, it was almost all breading. The pizza was fine once it did come out. Much to our surprise. The other girls waiting tables seemed to be paying much better attention to their tables. No one else was ever with out a drink and were checked on often. Maybe it was a fluke, but it is enough to send us else where for pizza now.
