Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

We go to Moe's a couple of times per month, but that just might change after tonight. 1. Food @ 9 PM was fresh and delicious. 2. The staff was absolutely AMAZING!! Friendly, funny, welcoming, great personalities. The food at Moe's is reason enough to come back, but the staff tonight made us want to visit at 9 o'clock often. Surely they were tired after a busy day, but they smiled, laughed and wanted to accommodate every desire. 3. Clean, clean, clean. We don't eat late too often, but we'll bypass every place in CoMo to visit this establishment again. When you serve fresh food at that hour, with a smile on your face, in a clean restaurant....why wouldn't we go back. Kudos to this operation and best of luck in the future.

I had a large burrito and my wife had the burrito bowl. Hers was with steak and mine was with ground meat. Both were OK, but very bland. The veggies seemed to have been kept on a steam table for too long and the rice was mushy, with hard, dried out bits in it. Chips were decent, if slightly stale. Overall, it reminded me of a cleaner, brighter, Taco Bell--with a 50% higher price. If you want cheap Mexican, go to Taco Bell. If you want better, fast food Mexican, go to Chipolatas next door.

This was my first time at Moe's and I have to say i was rather disappointed. I had ordered the chicken bowl and it tasted bitter for some reason and even their nachos were sad - tasted like the oil in which they had fried it had gone rancid...all in all it was a bad experience. I would never recommend it.

Slow, bland, run of the mill Mexican food. Go to chipotle next door and eat something way better. The Moe Monday deal is the only reason to come in here ever.

This place abalutely blew.. Theres 25people looking around back there when there should only be 15-10 at most. The service wasn't bad but the food was terrible. Just go next door to Chipotle, way way better. Overall the place will be gone within a year or so.

I haven't had a taco salad since moving out of southern California couple of years back. I was really glad to see that Moe's had it. Their sauteed veggies (green peppers and onions) were a bit mushy, but other than that all other stuff there was great.

The food was delish! The Music was funky and the place was clean. This is our go to instead of the same ole Taco Bell.

the most bland food i've ever had. imagine if chipotle served taco bell with all the passion of a subway sandwich. never again. also they scream at you when you walk in.

I first had Moe's in the Atlanta airport a decade(?) ago, and remember enjoying it a lot (vs. airport food expectations, at least), so I was curious to try it in a different context. I went on a Monday for the $5(+tax) burrito+chips+drink deal--normally $7.45 for just the burrito(+chips?). There's a Chipotle just across the street, so that's my primary point of comparison. In favor: 1) cheaper on Mondays (but per food calorie, I'd guess more expensive than Chipotle); 2) free sauteed mushrooms as topping (kinda random?); 3) the tofu is certified organic; 4) the $5 includes both tofu and guac, whereas Chipotle the guac is extra if you get sofritas (or free if you don't). Against: it doesn't taste nearly as good. (And they're slower.) The tofu was just, tofu; the Chipotle sofritas are cooked in something tasty. The Chipotle guac tastes better, although Moe's was better than most places (of similar price range). If you're a supertaster or otherwise not a fan of "the chipotle spice" (like Susan W. below), maybe Moe's is for you, at least on $5 Monday (otherwise Moe's is more expensive for less food). If you like all the flavors at Chipotle (like Devin C. below), Moe's will strike you as overly bland.

Tastes like airport food....oh wait.

They are super slow. I could get through a long chipotle line faster than a line of 5 at moes.

I loved Moe's when they were here a few years ago and disappointed when they left. I'm glad they're back. I don't like the chipotle spice and I hate the chairs at Chipotle so Moe's is for me! I went the other day and had a great experience. Everyone was friendly and the food was good. My only complaint is they only offered two mild salsas. One was a tomatillo and one had cranberries in it. I didn't care for either. There were three or four others that were medium or hot. It'd be nice if there was a regular red tomato mild salsa for us spicy weenies!
