Good only because there's no other place in town to get a half-decent burrito.

It's a McDonald's chain, there's no denying it, but the massive burritos are still tasty and one can probably serve for two meals.

Great, quick food. Love the veggie bowl (sub guac for meat at no charge!) If you're looking for quality and a hearty meal in a chain, fast food restaurant, this is the place.

Normally I come away from Chipotle satisfied, but my most recent visit took a turn for the worse. It all started when I reached the end of the ordering line, and, appalled, I found that they were out of CHEESE. This is a Mexican grill with no cheese! But the infractions don't stop there. I ordered chips and guac for a friend, and, upon returning to my table discovered that my order was seriously lacking in the order of chips, an integral part of chips and guac. I assumed this was simply a mistake, so I returned to the counter to request the chips that I had paid good money for. I could not have been more mistaken. Upon my request, the cashier found it in himself to inform me (now, after I had long paid for my chips) that they were out of chips, and I would not be receiving any compensation for my order because I accepted the guac. To be clear, this is now a Mexican grill without cheese OR chips! This may be an isolated case of the restaurant attempting to close up early, but in any case I would NOT recommend this facility after eight o'clock. I am not only appalled, but insulted. 2/5; would not recommend.

I eat here regularly, often a few times a week. It's always fresh, hot, fast and delicious! I will keep coming here as long as I go to school at Mizzou. You just can't get a better $7 lunch.

I like the "sofritas" (marinated organic tofu bits) now, too, although still get veggie half the time (since guac is included). I've also learned that even if the line is to the door, it's only ~10min wait. Much more flavor than Moe's, although you can get more calories per dollar at Moe's (who also has organic tofu...) on Monday *if* you get "queso" and chipotle ranch and count the not-so-nutritious chip and soda calories. But even then, I'd rather get Chipotle (for the flavor difference).

If you've never been to a Chipotle, you should definitely give it a try. I've been to three locations (Columbia, Independence, and Blue Springs, MO) and this one is about average in quality. The food tastes good because you can customize what ingredients to put into your burrito or burrito bowl. They also have soft tacos, but I've never gotten that before. Also, when I get a burrito bowl, I always as for the tortilla on the side-- it's free of charge! The price is also pretty average as far as eating out goes, and I would say it's also pretty decent for the amount of food you get as well as the quality. Without getting a drink, my chicken burrito costs about $7-$8. Not too shabby, eh? Also, if you have international friends in town (my Korean friends love this place), this is a pretty good option for them to try something new.

They are a speedy, efficient location and turn around the massive crowd that shows up for lunch between Mizzou class changes. The size of your burrito or number of scoops that wind up in your burrito bowl depends of who is working the line, but being friendly tends to help. Most of the staff are on the generous side, so there tends to be two meals in one burrito or bowl.

Decent fast food. Close to campus. Sometimes it isn't that busy at night.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
