Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Sitting The Haus right now based on the written reviews in Yelp. Pizza was great! We've been looking for someplace new to eat in our area and this is it! Friendly service, good salad, great pizza. Not a big crowd on a Tuesday night.

It's a great place to go late at night for a pizza and a beer! We love the service and the owner makes you feel like a regular, even if you're not! The pizza is FANTASTIC and they always add extra jalapeños for us ;)

Great Pizza with a friendly sports atmosphere We always get the Toledo best pizza in town

I usually go off the previous reviews on Yelp but, i took a friends suggestion and tried this. I think people need to know that there are new owners here and pizzas are made FRESH to order. Apparently, the previous owner was selling frozen pizzas and this is NOT the case now. My wife and I REALLY like this place. The "Toledo Classic" is my favorite pizza and sometimes I have them make it in a calzone. I highly recommend this place!!!

I was leery of trying this place, based on the fairly negative reviews here, but I had an hour to kill last week while my son was at an event at Parkway West so I stopped in. Having spent an hour at the bar and eaten some pizza, I don't understand what all the hate is about. This was an above-average St. Louis style pizza - particularly the house-made sausage which was very flavorful. Service was friendly and fast, food was piping hot and the price was reasonable. There's not much in the way of atmosphere, but they have plenty of TVs for sporting events and pool tables to keep you entertained. I noticed that all of the reviews on here are at least one year old, so perhaps they have improved lately ... either way, I walked away impressed. I will be back.

The Haus recently had a Groupon so I picked it up without ever hearing of this restaurant. The menu looked interesting with some tasty sounding specialty pizzas. We went to The Haus on a Friday night around 6:30. The place was fairly busy with most of the tables occupied. Upon further inspection, almost every table was using a Groupon. If we were all new customers brought in by Groupon, where were the regular customers? Not a good sign. There was only 1 waitress handling all of the tables (8-10) and it was her first night. The only other visible employee in the place was the manager who was working behind the bar. The place was in total disarray with everyone upset about the slow service. The lady at the table behind us who ordered before us didn't have her food when we received ours and I can only assume that they forgot to make her order. We ordered the cheese breadstix and the Leroy's Special pizza. The food was good and everything came out hot. I don't plan to return due to the obvious lack of management and poor service. The food was good and was the only reason I didn't give The Haus a 1 star review.

I am personally biased of this place, but I love it. I have been hear many times last summer and I am starting to come around more this summer as well. They have a very different crowd I am not sure that I am a fan of, they are a little out there and have an interest in some pretty loud and annoying music. That probably makes me sound like an old man, but I'm sure you know what I mean. Despite the noise this bar has a great set-up to watch a game and usually has good game day specials as well. On the other hand the older bartenders are awesome and very funny, but the new guys fail to remember who I am no matter how many times I come in. That's I recommend going on Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays when the older guys are there. However, the reasons I love this place the most are the prices and location location location! It is very close to my house which is convenient and the prices for both drinks and food are incredibly cheap I can't find too many places to match up. The pizza and wings are really good and they have a pretty decent alcohol selection. I've done shots form three wise men to adios motha fucka and have been pretty satisfied. Also they don't skeet you out on your wells, they are usually pretty strong. I like the place at least for a stop in for a game and I will be going back many times.

I like the pizza. The owners need to get a clue about service though. Not sure why they opened a pizza place ....

I'm writing this with two audiences in mind: the owners of the restaurant, and people who, like me, couldn't find a bit of info about this new establishment online. With that in mind, this will be a bit long as I hope others won't suffer the same fate as I did on my adventure there tonight. I hate to write a scathing review about a local upstart restaurant, but this place was just pathetic. It failed to meet "mediocre" on every level. We went there thinking that, with a germanic name like The Haus, it might be a good place to get a burger or sandwich or bratwurst or something. Walking inside, we saw a sparsely decorated room with a few tables, and everyone was eating pizza. Okay, so it's a pizza place. How a German name for restaurant serving an ostensibly Italian food makes sense, I don't know. (I wonder the same thing about the Pizza Haus on the Loop. I'm not sure if these establishments are connected.) We were seated and waited several minutes for any attention. To be honest, the service was slow and the waitress was obviously struggling with her first waitressing gig, but I'm not going to get into that too much. I'll forgive almost anything if the food is amazing. We happen to be fans of St. Louis style, and, from what we saw of other patrons' pies, the standard looked like little more than a thin-crust frozen pizza from Dierberg's, so we opted to try them with provel cheese. Eventually our order came out. The bacon pizza we ordered had no bacon. The pepperoni had pepperoni but they made the odd stylistic choice of cooking it UNDER the cheese, so it looked like a plain cheese pizza. Somebody (hard to say if it was a manager; watching the staff, they all seemed confused, as if nobody had ever worked in a restaurant before) told us he'd bring us out a new one with bacon if we liked, but we could tell we'd be disappointed anyway so we stuck with the cheese/pepperoni pizzas we were given, just to get the ordeal over with. He said he'd "take care of it," so we dug in. They were disappointing to say the least. On inspection, the crusts, soft and chewy due to being undercooked, looked to be factory-perforated...aka, pre-made, probably frozen at some point. The fact that you had no option of thin or thick crust reinforces my theory. A side effect of being undercooked was that as you neared the end of the pizza, the last slices were cold. I wondered before how they were able to bring them out to our table without wearing oven mitts, and for some reason the metal pans they were on, which at most pizza places come straight from the oven and are piping hot, weren't warm at all. Obviously, a lukewarm pizza on a room temperature metal plate is going to lose heat quickly. I noted that other customers across from us were similarly disappointed with their food. Of course, the non-bacon cheese pizza we received that the "manager" said would be taken care of was not, and we had to ask once again after we got our check for them to take care of it for us. The take-aways for the two intended audiences of this admittedly long review: Owner: Your restaurant won't be around long unless you improve the quality of your food. I'd excuse the "amateur hour" service and atmosphere if the food was worth it. I hate to see a local restaurant go down in flames, but I see no other future for The Haus if serious changes aren't made. Yelpers: Don't go here You can find better pizza out of the freezer section at Aldis.

Love The Haus. The food, especially the pizza, is amazing. They have one of the best BBQ chicken pizza's I've ever had. The location is a bit small, but the people and the atmosphere are great. Monday nights are great, with the poker and all the people. Love hanging out here. May not be the best place to watch a game, but is great for socializing. The staff are very friendly and fun.

I walked in here when it first opened and was not impressed by how empty the place was. It seemed very strip mall box store. Last night I wanted to play golden tee's miniature golf game and searched for the closest one and the Haus had it. It also had darts, a pool table, touch tunes jukebox, and the bartop games & trivia machine. The beer is cheap and the service was pretty good for being Very Busy! I would recommends this place for someone looking for a bar with fun activities.

I have no idea what was going with this place prior to 2014, but I have been really impressed and fulfilled with my experiences here these past few months. The service is fast, friendly and I enjoy the laid-back environment. I believe any very negative reviews predate the current ownership, so that may explain any past customer frustrations. The pizza is great, and the list of toppings is well-able average ... and superb salads! Also several quality craft beers on tap, but also cheap PBR drafts available. I usually go with my family early evening ... not sure what the scene is like post 830pm, but probably fun. Good place to watch games as well, and very easy parking.

We love this place! Our every Friday night neighborhood place. When we walk in, they know exactly what we want. Our drinks are served before we even sit down, it doesn't how busy they are. The pizza is the best. The people are always friendly and welcoming.
