Great service; friendly, courteous, and attentive to our needs. Food was hot and what we expected. Not very busy the night we were there.

I eat here quite often since it's right be the hotel I stay at. The food is what you would expect from an Ihop but the service is really quite fast and friendly and they bring the food out to you quite quickly as well. I actually like going here because I know how long it will take and I can plan my other activities around that. I plan on eating here again and would recommend it to others as well.

It's always annoying when the servers at this restaurant: 1) Don't give you utensils 2) Don't give kids a kids menu 3) Bring your food to someone else's table 4) Forget to have the cook make one of the party's food, so this person sits and watches everyone else eat 5) Forget to bring the butter you ask for 6) Don't apologize for any of it! All that happened to us tonight and there were only four other tables occupied.

When I think of restaurants with good service, I usually don't think of IHOP. When I think of IHOP, I think of servers who are so busy that they hardly have the time to ensure that your order is correct let alone appetizing. That said, I must give the IHOP in Chesterfield its due. My wife is pregnant with twins and we have been to IHOP twice in the last few weeks. Both times we had an excellent server who was friendly, courteous, and attentive. We had brunch on a Sunday with the usual post church crowd, and a late dinner around 10:15. It is because of the service alone that I write this review. If you are partial to the food at IHOP, consider giving the location in Chesterfield a try.

What?!! No reviews? My wife and I slipped in, late on a Friday night, caught in the dilemma of "Do you really want to go home and cook dinner at 10.30 pm?" and "What's open in suburban St Louis/St Charles County after 10.30 pm to grab a quick bite?" Ah, for all of the warranted criticisms of NJ, I do miss the ubiquity of the reliable diner. Anyway, this place was hoppin' on a Friday night. So, I'm surprised that there are no reviews. There were even a lot of young, whipper-snappers ... who were probably madly engrossed in their multi-tasking blend of pseudo-face-to-face conversation and smart phone text/tweet engagement. But about the visit. The service was friendly, and prompt on all fronts. Despite the abundance of patrons, our waiter did a decent job of checking back at the table, and clearly wanted to do right by his commitment to this place of business. The food was fine - for the category it was actually really good. I went with the Denver omelet. Tasty! So, I think I've found my new fav', for that late night craving satiation.

To start off our visit, we waited 10 minutes just to be seated. The restaurant was less than halfway full and the employee (young female with long dark hair) who seated us was extremely frazzled and seemed put out to show us to our table. Not a good sign when seating guests is an encumbrance! It took another 7-8 minutes to receive menus and be greeted by our waiter, Mason. We ordered immediately in hopes that our food would not take very long. It was about 5:45 pm and the restaurant was not very busy yet. It looked so poorly managed though...dirty tables, half drank coffee pots on tables, many people waiting for food, waiting to pay their bill, waiting to be seated, kitchen in disarray and chaotic... Regretfully, I did not track the exact number of minutes it took for our 3 short stacks of plain pancakes to be delivered to our table, but it was a minimum of 20 minutes. Pancakes are not rocket science people...perhaps the kitchen could crank out pancakes at this PANCAKE restaurant a little faster... Our waiter said he would bring syrup right out when he delivered our pancakes, but we waited several more minutes with no syrup in sight. Well...just in luck...the tables around us had not been cleaned so I grabbed a leftover syrup from a table nearby so my sons could eat their pancakes while they were still warm. A bit later, Mason stopped by with syrup. Mason seems like a great kid and was trying hard...it appears that he has not been trained properly (or his teammates either). The manager jumped in and took the order of the table next to us since his wait staff was not up to the task. The manager seemed energetic, friendly, and had hustle. There was a huge stain on his pant leg though and he didn't seem able to get his team to function properly. The food was fine - nothing to write home about. The service was awful and the restaurant was not clean. It has potential, but lacks direction and management. I would pass on this place...

What a dissapointment! The restaurant was so cold inside that I had to eat with my coat on. The bathroom was freezing cold and there was NO hot water to wash hands with. The night manager did not seem to care that his customers were very uncomfortable with the temperature. I am marking this IHOP off my list of places to dine.

I took my wife for brunch yesterday. We had a 5 minute wait and were quickly seated. I ordered the Steak and eggs and my wife had the country fried steak and eggs. The waitress was really nice and attentive. When our food arrived, it looked and smelled great. My wife cut in to hers and took a bite. She told me that it tasted funny. Something like freezer burned. Well, I was eating mine and there were probably 8 chucks of steak, mushrooms and onions on my plate. I got down to the last couple of pieces of steak when I notice the consistency of the meat changed. I took my napkin and spat it out. I stopped eating it at that time. I called the manager over to tell him we were not satisfied with the food. He told me he would take care of it. He came back with the bill he only took my wife's off. Asked him why? He told me I ate mine. So, I ended up talking to this guy named Gus. I am not sure what his position is in the establishment but he shouldn't have anything to do with the food service business. He started to argue with me over I ate it all. I told him well I refuse to pay for it. He told me he was calling the police. At the same time he told us to get out. I gave him my business card and walked out. Then my wife said well why don't we wait for the police and we did. Meanwhile good old Gus called me an asshole over $20.00. Well, the police showed up and the officer said why don't you pay it and just not come back to this IHOP. I said you know what that is a good idea. I paid it and we left. I am also calling the health department and sending this to the IHOP corporate office.

I met a college friend for breakfast yesterday. Holy cow was this place packed! I arrived a bit early, put my name on the waitlist and found a seat. When my dining partner arrived, we had a brief wait before our table was ready. Considering the crowd, that was really fast. Our server was delightful. I got an entire carafe of decaf and a glass of water. Dining partner got a diet cola. Dining partner ordered banana pancakes with nuts. What a beautiful plate! Not only were bananas sliced on top of the pancakes, they were slices of banana IN the pancakes. A generous sprinkling of pecans, a huge dollop of butter with syrup on the side. She enjoyed. I got eggs benedict. What a HUGE plate of beautifully prepared luciousness. The eggs were perfect. The Canadian bacon completely covered each English muffin half, and the Hollandaise sauce was rich and hot. The hash browns were crunchy on the outside and fluffy in the inside. Just perfect. I took half of the eggs benedict home for another breakfast. Service was attentive, and we were not rushed.

Lovely service. Best sirloin tips I've ever had in an IHOP (and it's my regular dish). They definitely have some talent in the kitchen.

Stopped by for breakfast around 845 am. They were busy but was able to get a table right away. I had an omelette that was suppose to have six pieces of bacon in it. I had ordered it before and it was prepared with the bacon as strips. This time while it tasted good the bacon had been chopped up and there was no way it was six strips. I ordered it specifically for protein so alittle disappointing. We did get our food fast which was a surprise since so busy. Will go back again but ordering something different.
