    Waited 10 minutes to have our order taken, another 45 minutes to have food on the table. Very much overpriced-- for $15-20 you get lots of carbs and sauces but 3rd world portion of proteins, no more than a few tiny slices of meat in every dish. There are definitely better Thai restaurants to choose from.

    Selected the basic pad thai off the lunch menu, they give you soup which was nice. Was decent. Would be willing to try dinner menu, but I think best thai restaurant in St. Louis is crazy talk.

    I wasn't completely sure about coming here due to some very polarized reviews, but decided to go with the majority and give it a shot. I think we made the right choice. The food was quite tasty and our server was friendly. I ordered Thai basil fried rice and asked for the spiciness to be a 3(out of 5). She confirmed a few times and then quite nicely suggested I try a 2. She said "I just want you to enjoy your meal!" She was right. Even the 2 made my eyes water a little and my nose run. I should really just accept that I am a silly white girl who can't hang when it comes to spicy food, even though I want to. I digress. It was delicious, I was happy.

    had pad thai vegetarian and Green curry with tofu, egg rols and soup were part of lunch menu. Pd thai was excellent and so was green curry with tofu, prices were reasonable, we will try it out for dinner . Service was excellent.

    Had carryout. Food was ready when promised. One note, they no longer have the stuffed chicken wings. Chicken Thai fried rice. Rice was a little mushy and wet. Seems many Thai fried rice options are more moist than traditional fried rice. There was large chicken pieces, broccoli, squash, white onions, green onions, egg. The flavor was average. There was not a lot of soy and therefore not a lot of flavor, but it was not too salty. I've had better at other Thai restaurants. Yellow curry veggies. Broccoli, squash, onions, baby corn, carrots, potato. This is a good dish. I prefer it a little sweeter with sweet potato instead of normal potatoes. The potatoes were cut too large. Same issue with chicken when if order this meal with chicken. Not much heat with this dish. It was good overall. Panang curry chicken. Chicken, lots of pepper. This was my favorite dish this time. There are. Lot of red and green pepper and heavy pepper flavor. I am not a big fan of peppers but the coconut milk and slight heat made this dish extremely tasty and perfect with the rice. Tom yum gai soup. Strong flavor with the chicken, green onions, lemongrass. Here was a little heat but not too much. This wasn't the best Tom yum but it was good. I ordered everything at the default heat. I liked that the dishes that were a little spicy were still edible for those that don't eat very spicy food, but had some heat to provide the extra flavor. Overall a solid Thai meal.

    Very good Thai. The red curry is good. Be careful though- the mild is as hot as a medium in other places. Decent prices. Very nice atmosphere and professional staff. I do like the dishes in tower grove at Basil Thai a little better though-still, this is a good place to eat.

    This is our new favorite thai restaraunt! Service was perfect, great ambience inside, very clean and tastefully decorated, but most importantly the good was amazing! We had thai iced teas, Tom ka gai soup, thai summer rolls with duck, and panang curry.

    Great experience. The Pangang curry was absolutely amazing! The waitress was kind and considerate and was on top of drink refills. They had a hot scale 1 being not hot and 5 being really hot. They told me that 2 is in the middle, so I tried 3 and I am so glad that I didn't do 4 or 5 as it was hot, but I loved it. It was on the pricey side but it was Delicious.

    Service is always awesome, great prices (which I never worry about as long as the food is good), I LOVE their panang curry wonderful taste of peppers, panang curry and coconut milk making it both sweet spicy and thick and creamy! This place has ruined me to EVERY other Thai restaurant in St. Louis.

    We continue to enjoy Addie's from time to time. They seem to offer regular dining coupons and we get AAdvantage dining miles and we like the food. Most recently we were accompanied by Mr B. The only issue on our recent visit was that while the server told us they had "tons of beers" the first three that Mr B ordered, they were out of but she did not know until she went to get one each time then came back with the news. She tried to be helpful by suggesting other beers that were nothing like what he originally ordered. Familiarity with the beer supply and with styles would be a good thing for servers. I always like to get the Thai Dumplings which are steamed and served with ground peanuts and a delicious soy based dipping sauce. We also had Fried Eggrolls that were crisp and fresh. We skipped soups on this night although they do have some good offerings. For our main courses we had Pad See Ewe for Ms T (very good as always) and one of the House Specialties that was a large assortment of seafood; mussels, shrimp, scallops. Addie's has a good system for heat levels. In deference to my dining partners, I did not order rocket fuel, but went with 3 as the heat level in the seafood. The server said, "Oh, that's pretty hot". When it arrived it had absolutely no heat. I think they just missed it. Normally when you tell them 3, 4 or 5 it is pretty hot. There were some missteps on this visit. The beer thing was an embarrassment and the total lack of heat in the seafood was disappointing. However, since this was our 12th visit we are obviously able to overlook one less than great experience. They have a quite broad menu covering all of your favorites and some specialties that deserve a try. Also listen for specials of the night. I am staying with four stars due to our overall experiences of the past. This visit was more like three. They do have a website, but it is pretty poor. The "skip intro" does not work and you have to mute your sound to stop the annoying music. The menu is displayed in a small window and you can't just read the menu, you have to scroll through like you are peering through a knothole. The menu is also not complete or kept up to date. The seafood item we selected was not a special of the evening, it was listed in the House Specialties but is not in the list on line. Added Note March 2015 - Dinner with our friends the B's was very good. I loved the Prig King Chicken. It has a very nice red curry sauce and mild heat. Everything was nice; Satay Chicken appetizer, Vegetarian Appetizer platter, crab fried rice and Tufu Cashew dish. Wine corkage is good at $10. One comment, twice now one of us has had a cloth napkin that smelled badly of rancid oil. I did not say anything at the time, afterwards Ms T confirmed that she had had it happen a past visit with her chums. It is bad enough that I could smell it as soon as we were seated. It took me a bit to figure out where it was coming from. They have either a laundry or storage problem for their linens. My guess is that this can not be laundered out anymore. They are not all this way because Ms T did not experience it on this night.

    Quick summary: Fancier (therefore, pricier) Thai place, even though it's in a strip mall, but it's delish. We had some of the best best best duck curry I've ever had. So incredibly flavorful and omg, the fatty duck was perfectly crisp and just gooooood. Plus, I love their listed spice scale, and more places should adopt it. I'm kind of sick of getting milder Thai dishes at other restaurants, because the place is scared I'll bitch about the level of heat.

    Good food, but a little too pricey for what you get. Had a clam appetizer - it was very flavorful, but several of the clams either had not opened or the clam was missing from the shell. I thought you weren't supposed to serve unopened clams but whatever. For dinner I had Pad Se Ewe. It was prepared just like i like it and the sauce had that hint of sweetness that I am used to. I can't vouch for authenticity, but its what I'm used to and I liked it. The noodles were cooked perfectly and some had a little crisp to them where the sauce caramelizes on the noodles. Service was very good - in fact, I really dread using Groupons anymore because we seem to get treated like second-class citizens more often than not but they did not flinch when presented with an expired Groupon. Of course, they honor the residual value but that was to be expected. I would try them again; I would just grumble about the prices but enjoy the food.

    Decisions, decisions. This place is a little far out of the city for us but we thought we'd give it a try. It was good but a little pricey and a little far as we have decent Thai closer to us. That being said: The atmosphere was nice. The decorations were pretty and it wasn't too brightly lit, which I find comforting. The staff was friendly and efficient. I found it to be oddly warm in the crowded room. To start with we ordered: Addie's Fresh Rolls - Bean sprout, tofu, cucumber, green onion, and egg wrapped in rice paper and steamed. Topped with sweet tamarind sauce. They are similar to fresh spring rolls but are different. They are definitely worth a try. The bf liked them but I prefer spring rolls. These were warm, as indicated, and the wrap was different somehow. For our entrees: I had: Thai hot red curry vegetables with tofu and mixed vegetables in red curry with coconut milk. Garnished with Thai sweet basil. My curry was good but not the best I've had. It was flavorful but a little runny, as some curries are but I like mine a little on the thick side. The veggies were good and not over cooked. The tofu was, well, tofu. The bf had: Medium red curry with chicken and prepared with dried chili peppers in coconut milk with bamboo shoots, zucchini, bell peppers, and Thai sweet basil. He said his was good with nice flavors. He said the veggies were fresh and the chicke was cooked well. We would mos def hit this place up again if we were in the area but we wouldn't drive out there just to eat there.

    I can't say anything about the food: on a Thursday at 2:28 pm we were told they were closed. Also, I don't know what the schedule is, but I find it hard to believe that the post-lunch break begins at 2pm. Never again.

    I think this is the best Thai food in St. Louis, and I've tried most all. Service was attentive and informative without being rushed. We ordered the two person dinner and received a very nice selection of dishes. I loved the yellow curry. Lots of vegetarian options if that matters to you. Wine was fine. Atmosphere was small, quiet, and welcoming. There were a mix of couples, families and perhaps a business client meeting. My only complaint is that they have limited hours, and a few days ago we stopped by unexpectedly to find a sign on the door they were closed for the night, so call ahead.

    This is my new favorite Thai restaurant in west county. Started with the clam appetizer. This is not a big dish but wow is it flavorful. Also, it is unlike any version of anything with clams that I've ever had in another restaurant. The broth is soooo savory, slightly sweet and really compliments the delicate flavor of the clams. For dinner I opted for the seafood pad thai. The first bite of the dish that I took was calamari. Nicely scored and seared, cooked to perfection and not in the least bit chewy or fishy. Unfortunately, the next time I took a bite of the squid it was almost all of those things. I'm not sure how or why but the apparent lack of freshness in the rest of the calamari cost them a star on this review. The shrimp were all cooked exactly right and perfectly fresh such that they were a real treat. The noodles, seasoning and everything else about this dish was also spot-on. I ordered this dish at a heat level of medium and it was right there. Enough heat to where I still felt it on my lips while driving home but not so much that the flavors in the dish were lost. Absolutely perfect delivery of "medium" in my book. Great service, great food - we will be back but I will leave the seafood pad thai alone next time. Side note: we presented an expired Groupon at the end of the meal and the waitress didn't skip a beat on accepting the residual value. I appreciated that when compared to a similar situation at a different Asian restaurant where we were treated significantly worse over the same issue.

    Addie's has very good flavors. They haven't gone wrong with any of the dishes I ordered. Definitely my favorite Thai place to go even though I live 20 mi from it. The only downside is it's a little expensive but it's worth it. Try the papaya salad, Spicy eggplant, and sweet potatoes. The sauces are incredible!

    Best in the area, I haven't had a bad thing here. The thai wings or dumplings for an appetizer are delicious. I've yet to try any of the $20+ specialty entrees, but there are plenty of reasonably priced traditional thai dishes on the rest of the menu.

    When I moved back for Chicago three years ago, I began searching for the perfect Thai place. It took awhile, but I finally found my favorite place in St. Louis... Addie's Thai House has great food. I'm a huge fan of the curries. I'm a city person, which means I'm not always thinking about eateries that require much of a drive. Luckily, this place is close to my office. A colleague recommended this place with glowing reviews and I'll now take her restaurant reviews any day. They have really good lunch specials, plus I normally get two or three meals out of an order. My recommendation... Try this place out.

    I've been here dozens of times. It's nice that this place is close to my office, they are rather cheap for a lunch, serve a mountain of food and it's just fantastic! I've never had a problem getting a table here, have always had great service and to be honest, don't know how they handle a problem as I have never had one. If you are in the area and need a great lunch/dinner, I would highly recommend them.

    A friend told me about this place, 'best Thai to be had in StL'. Went there for dinner last night--just wow. Now I know why Tei Too falls short! There was no trying at this cozy place, they know what they are doing! We ordered appetizers, soup, and an entree to share...plenty to go around, a third person could have eaten with us. We ordered Addie's Fresh Rolls, Satay Chicken, Tom Ka Gai, and Waterfall Beef. The Addie's Fresh rolls were surprising--we really thought we were ordering spring rolls. The filling and the tamarind sauce were tasty, but the wrapper was too spongy for our liking. Loved the cucumber relish that came with the Satay--very fresh tasting with hints of lime and chili. The Tom Ka, omg, I think this is the best i have had!! Very flavorful, lots of layers and can be custom heated. The large comes in a HUGE caldron that would easily serve 3 or 4 people. As I 'm writing this review thinking about the Tom Kha, mouth is just watering! We had died and gone to heaven on the soup, but man let me tell you, the Waterfall Beef--WOWZERS! Nice bite sized slices of beef, cilantro, green onion in a lime-garlic sauce... just yum. Staff saw to it that glasses were kept filled and dishes no longer needed were removed in the most unobtrusive manner. My only dislike about the place--the chairs were not so comfy because they were on the smaller side.

    Addie's Thai House is a bit over priced in my opinion but the food is fantastic. I lived in Thailand during part of college so I know good Thai food and this place has it. I recommend it to everyone that enjoys Thai food and doesn't mind the trek out to it. Everything I've heard here has been delicious!

    Went to Addie's for the first time this week, will DEFINITELY become a regular! Went for lunch - they have wonderful lunch choices that are economically priced. You get LOTS of food, took enough home for another meal. Excellent food, superb customer service - very enjoyable experience!!! Great restaurant!

    This place is more 3.5 star worthy, but leans more towards the 4 star range. The environment is nice and quiet and the waitstaff was very friendly and attentive. I'll admit I wasn't expecting too much from the look on the outside of the building but was pleasantly surprised when the food came out. Got the yellow curry with chicken and spicy eggplant, both of which were very filling and satisfying. The deduction in the star comes from the pricing, as it is more expensive than many of my favorite Thai places in California... Note: There is a parking lot so no need to worry about street parking!

    This is the best Thai food for the price that I've every had. The service is good and the flavors are spot on. Their lunch specials are an unbelievable bargain! Soup and Egg rolls with every order. It's off the beaten path and the exterior might make you think that this place isn't as good as the reviews say, but rest assured, you won't be disappointed. If this is your first time here, mind the spiciness rating system. 3 can be much hotter than you're expecting. And also, green tends to be the spicier of the curry's. I got the Pork Panang Curry and it was fantastic. Slightly sweet with a bit of a kick. Smoother than other currys that I've had. A good one to start off with if you're new to Thai. Don't get pad Thai. Not that it's bad, I'm sure that it's good, but don't pass up on the tremendous curry flavors. That's what really shines here.

    The owner writes a comment on my post and says its false. Instead solving the problem she is accusing a customer of lying and calls it a 'girlish prank". There was a cockroach in my soup and even the server could not deny it, she said it must have flown in by mistake. My sister, my friend and I walked out without even eating the rest of the food. The server did say she will take it off our cheque but who would have an appetite after that.

    Fiancé called 10 days before Valentine's day to make a reservation for tonight. Upon calling to verify today he was informed that they are not taking reservations. He asked if any exception could be made since he had technically made the reservation and they had agreed to it. They said no and that was that. :( Disappointing customer service and left us scrambling to make reservations on a Valentine's evening. We were here a week ago and it was packed. The hostess said it would only be a twenty min wait. That turned into a 50 min wait. We were repeatedly told that it wouldn't take much longer and had decided to wait it out since we drove so far to get here. What was puzzling was that there were plenty of empty tables that were in the process of being set. But no one was seated until every table had every single fork, knife, napkin, glass, etc. I understand its part of the process, but it was endlessly frustrating to stare at these empty tables and be told we have to wait another twenty minutes. At least have your customers seated first so they aren't clogging up the foyer! We finally ordered and got our food 40 minutes later. The food was amazing in the end, very flavorful and the best Thai I've had in St. Louis. Unfortunately I did not think it was worth the 90 minute wait. I had grown to really enjoy Addie's since I first came here in December. But with these past two experiences being so negative, I really don't feel its worth coming here again.

    Good food. Friendly service. They are one of the few restaurants that are open when I get off work, so I sometimes get takeout on my way home. I have been here probably 20 times over the last few years. They are very nice, I only had an issue with a waitress once, who was lazy and sat next to the cash register loudly complaining about her job, but I never saw her there again. Lol. All in all, I do love this place, and would recommend it to anyone.

    I would have to fully agree with Ming L's review. All dishes here are overly sweet. We had two entrees - a beef curry and a papaya salad - and it was almost was like eating dessert. Our appetizer of Thai rolls also had the same issue, but once we scraped off the sauce, which is eerily similar to McDonald's BBQ sauce, the taste was much more appeasing. Furthermore, the menu has five spice levels, but the spice levels seemed to be based upon the perspective of someone who grew up in Bangkok eating chili peppers for breakfast. We ordered a 2 out of 5, but it was easily at least a 3.5 out of 5. I know it and you know it - if a person of Nordic and/or Anglo Saxon looking descent orders spicy food, you have to tone that shit down! Finally, the prices are too expensive and each dish costs 3-4 dollars more than the same or comparable dish at a nearby Thai restaurant. I can't really recommend this place at all, especially considering the plethora of other amazing Asian restaurants nearby.

    Came for a work function. Had the yellow chix curry and pad thai chicken. Also had the duck spring rolls. All done very well! Great flavor, good size portions, super friendly (and hot) waitresses. I will be back!

    This place is right close to my new office so I stopped in for lunch. I was very pleasantly surprised by the service and the food. They do try to talk you out of the hot stuff though. The first time I went in I asked for 3 stars of spicy. They told me that was very hot and most people who like hot stuff find 2 levels of spicy sufficient. I caved under the pressure and got 2. It wasn't hot at all. The next time I came in I insisted on 3 levels of spicy. It still wasn't all that hot, but it was indeed delicious. At dinner, this place gets pretty spendy for a Thai restaurant, but it fits the bill wonderfully for lunch!

    We went there because of groupon. The environment of the restaurant is nice. Their plate settings looks really authentic. However the food is awful. We ordered tom kha soup, pad Thai, and Panang curry. What I can taste in Tom kha soup and panang curry is just sweet and hot. No other taste. For pad Thai, is just sweetness. I was joking to my partner that the cook must have misplaced the sugar with the salt!! I would never go back again because of the food.

    Last December, I found a $20 bill in my winter coat. But get this, I didn't notice it until I was at the bar. Let me back up. One of my good friends wanted to go hang out on South Grand at this bar called Mangia. Yeah, an Italian restaurant that's actually a hipster bar at night. I'm usually not cool enough to go to bars like that, but my friend looks like Dan Auerbach from the Black Keys, so he was cool enough for the both of us. Anyway, when we got to the bar we had a few drinks and met some other friends who wanted to go hang out at a pinball bar called the Silver Ball Room, so we went there. Great place. Problem is, pinball machines don't take credit cards. Argh! Who carries cash any more? A few minutes later though, my frown turned upside down. As it turns out, that's when I found that $20 bill in my coat! Don't you love it when stuff like that happens? Well, Addie's Thai House is better than that. Check it out!     Note: This review is based over two visits. First visit: 4 out of 5 stars- Good service for a particularly bad day for me. Asian food is my comfort food and I love Pad Thai. So my husband and I went. Not busy and we were served right away. In fact we were halfway through our spring rolls when the main entrees came. The service was quick, efficient and the waitress attentive. Well worth the money spent. Second visit: 1 out of 5 stars - I'm not entirely sure what happened on our second visit, only that the wait time was excessively long. Maybe it was our fault for going on a Saturday, but seeing as it was definitely past the busy part of the evening, it should not have taken nearly 45 minutes for an order of Pad Thai and Crab Fried Rice to arrive from the kitchen. Not to mention that my entree, the Pad Thai, was not made correctly (no green onion, no tofu). I spent part of my meal picking out the green onion. While the waitress offered to have it remade, I had no assurances that it wouldn't take another 45 minutes for it return and making my husband wait as I ate. We never saw the waitress again until we wanted the check. We were seated in the back of the restaurant where the restrooms were so maybe that had something to do with it. Overall: The food is good, but if our last visit is an indication of the level of service, we may just go elsewhere for Thai food.

    Burned a Groupon here tonight. A very good Thai place. We started our meal with fresh rolls. These were a little different than I am used to, but very, very good. Both kids ate their share. The girls ordered cashew checking, sweat & sour chicken and drunken noodles with chicken. I tasted each dish and enjoyed them. I ordered the Siam Beef with a spiciness of #2. They chef nailed it! This was a tasty dish with the right level of heat. The service was great! They even took a special order for my favorite Thai desert that is not on the menu, coconut ice cream with sticky rice! YUM!

    Addie's is pretty good. I've been here a few times with coworkers for lunch, and don't really have any complaints about the food, other than it's just never blown me away. The service is typically fine. The decor is fairly lacking - it's really dark (and not in a romantic way) and, as such, it doesn't seem particularly clean to me. I also don't care at all for the location. It's in a really dingy strip mall near Olive & 141. As far as West County Thai food and atmosphere goes, I much prefer Manee Thai in Manchester.

    I was visiting family in MO and we went out for Thai. Conveniently it was right outside of the neighborhood. We ordered, masaman curry, tom yum veggies, pad thai, and another thicker noodle which I do not remember. Padkow? Kowpad? We came in and only one couple was in there. The waitress was great, the ambiance is the typical thai place, the food came out fast. After 10 mins we were the only group in there and we asked for chilli peppers, but never got it until the end when we had to ask for it again. When we got our food, we only saw our waitress or anybody twice. Everyone was in the back kitchen. Other than that, the thick noodle was the winner for me; it was the perfect spiciness, the noodle was a good texture, and it wasn't greasy. The masaman curry was not spicy because I did say a little spicy. Although, the lady said that medium spicy is really spicy and when we got a dish that is medium spicy, it was actually good enough spiciness. The curry was on a sweater side than most masaman curry I've had. It was still good. The tom yum soup was not it for me. It was also on a sweeter side for me. Overall, it was good.

    Food is good, ambience is not bad, but the customer service is horrible. Do not go there for lunch on Fridays... It will take a long time to get your food after cold soup and spring rolls. It will take a long time to get the hot sauce or paper napkins even though you ask for it specifically. They need to improve on their attitude towards the customers. All they do is ask you 'how is everything' right after handing the check. Do not go there for dinner....overly pricey and not worth wasting your money.

    Addie's Thai House is extraordinary. If you're looking for excellent Thai food west of 270, you really can't do much better. (A close tie with Thai Kitchen in Maryland Heights.) Every Thai restaurant has their own spin on the classic dishes. From Pad Thai, to Tom Yum Talay, to Pad See-ew. Addie's has some great renditions. Those are my recommendations, by the way, perhaps not in that order. Be warned though. Thai food is about curry, and sauces infused with coconut milk, sure. But it's also about Spicy. Addie's pulls no punches in the Spicy department, and really shouldn't have to. C'mon, would you go to a steakhouse if you don't like beef? Don't go to a Thai restaurant if you don't like Spicy. If you don't like Spicy, and still insist on eating Thai food, this would be the restaurant to tell your waiter or waitress you want the spices mild. And PS: please don't listen to the one-star reviewer below, she is clearly not playing with a full deck, as evidenced by her need to post not one, but two restaurant-killer, damaging reviews. That's sad. And it's also sad that the owner had to show up to defend his restaurant. I worked near this restaurant for years, used to go once a week for lunch, and I still go back whenever I'm in the neighborhood. The food is excellent, the owner is friendly, comes to your table to check up, he's meticulous about his restaurant, and the service is usually great. Usually, except when they're slammed. And that's understandable and a testament to this restaurant.

    I wish I could give this place zero stars ... very honestly. After reading the Yelp reviews for this place, and tricking myself into thinking that the RFT was ALWAYS a reliable source, I headed to Addie's Thai House in hopes of finding amazing Thai food. Unfortunately, that is not what I found. When my boyfriend and I walked in, the restaurant appeared to exactly how it was described online. It was an elegant restaurant with a casual vibe. We approached the hostess stand, and were not even greeted. Instead, the tacky hostess rolled her eyes and asked, "How many?" as if there were more people walking in after my boyfriend. After replying with, "Hello, two, please." the hostess sighed heavily and muttered, "It'll be a minute." She immediately walked away stood in the dining room, looking around for a table. Only three tables were full, so I'm not sure why seating us was so difficult. After looking around in a confused manner in the dining room, the hostess disappeared, then re-appeared about three minutes later. She grabbed two menus, pointed at a table and said "Over there." She seemed so inconvenienced by our presence. Then, as we sat at our table, she threw our menus down on the table and walked away. She didn't bother to tell us that our server would be out shortly or anything. As my boyfriend and I began looking over the menu, we heard another couple come in. The same hostess immediately greeted them cheerfully and sat them immediately. Frustrated, we continued looking through the menu, hoping someone would tend to us soon. No one did. Three different staff members (including the hostess), walked around checking on other guests and tending to their needs. Then, about 12 minutes after walking in, the hostess walked to our table, filled our water glasses carelessly, spilling water on the table, and walked away. We sat there for about three more minutes, before we realized that Addie's wasn't the place for us. Now, I hate to make things racial, but we were the only Black couple in the restaurant, and Addie's is located in Chesterfield. Most educated people know that St. Louis is racially polarized, but the only color that should be associated with business is green. I am truly disappointed in the lack of customer service at Addie's. I would not recommend this restaurant and have already told several people about my horrifying experiences. It's 2012, not 1962. Please get it together.

    Wow! We were pleasantly surprised at this little restaurant! Some how they have the perfect mix of sweet and spicy perfected! We ordered the Meal for two dinner and had four courses for $50. I highly recommend doing so that way you can try multiple things.

    Tried this place on a whim and found a winner. We started with the Thai dumplings--- Steamed mixed pork and ground shrimp with jicama, egg, cilantro, pepper and green onions. Wrapped with dumpling wrapper. These were the best dumplings that I have ever had. Five plus stars. I followed this with the Prig Khing Prawns Sauteed prawns with green beans, chili paste, Thai bay leaves, bell peppers and ground peanuts. Also delectable. I hope that they continue to live up to my high expectations when I return.

    Addie's Thai House was a very pleasant experience, with pretty good food. I don't know that it is completely four stars for me, but closer to four than three. As others have noted, there is a casual refined decor and atmosphere. This also applied to our server. The presentation of the food was also quite appealing. As for the food itself, it was pretty good - not the best I've ever had, but worht recommending. We ordered Thai iced tea, which came appropriately strong and sweet. Our spring roll appetizer had crispy egg roll outsides, with fresh tasting insides. The sweet & sour sauce was complementary, not syrupy sweet. A nice start to the meal. Now both the tea and spring rolls were quite good. But really were not better than I've had at other places. Perhaps these are just items that one should expect to be done well. My entree was a house specialty spicy catfish & veggies plate, but I forget its name. The menu said it is a very popular Thai dish. Well, it was good, but I'm not Thai. I guess I'm just used to more of a southern catfish flavor. Anyway, it came out in a nice fish-shaped dish, loaded with catfish pieces, vegetables, and a good glazing sauce. I asked the server how spicy it was, and she said not too spicy. I should have remembered that this is relative to south asia. I'm kind of a spicy wimp. This kept my lips tingling the entire time. It actually was pretty tasty, but not a very strong catfish flavor. The wife ordered Tofu Cashew Nuts. It is pretty much cashew chicken with tofu instead of chicken. Kudos for their generous volume of cashews (not peanuts). Flavor was quite savory, which tofu soaks up well. This is really was I would expect at a Chinese restaurant, but was well done and tasty. The daughter ordered Green Curry. It was typical of what I've gotten at other good Thai resaurants. But a bit spicier than most. Not that it was overpowering, but other places' green generally is very low heat. One final thought on the rice they served us. There was a lot! It wasn't really jasmine-y, which was a bit of a let down. And it was a little stickier than I'm used to for Thai, but not unpleasant. Just not especially exciting. I've had more preferred jasmine rice at other places.

    Ate here for Lunch on Dec 26th. Actually meant to use a Restaurant.com coupon at Yakuza Sushi next door, but it was closed. It was OK. The lunch special included a lukewarm water beef bullion cube soup with chopped veggies, along with springrolls. The two on top were piping hot, but the rest underneath were still cold (microwave didn't reheat them completely?) ...two stars down already....BUT.... The Pad Thai was VERY GOOD. I ordered it spicy, but asked for a jar of dried chili to sprinkle more on top. We also order the green curry (GREAT), and the Basil Fried Rice (Pretty Good). I might try Addies again, but they've got to step up their lunch soup. How tough is it to make a chicken-ginger-garlic soup, with a sliced carrot/mushroom and a sliver of lemongrass? If reheating in microwave use your fingers to plate to tell if springrolls are still cold from the fridge...

    Took the 'long" drive out here to Chesterfield because we love thai food and a friend of ours recommended it. Sadly, everything was bombed in sugar. Plus, it was pricey for thai food. Drive a little further and go to thai sawadee instead.

Not very complex flavors that you would expect from thai food. Also somewhat pricey. Many better alternatives in St Louis for authentic Thai food, but admittedly not many in west county.

    This is our family's favorite restaurant as everyone has dishes here they love. Tom Ka Gai, Red Curry, Panang Curry, Duck Curry (I'm a curry fan-what can I say) are always fantastic! We go 1-2 times a month. Best Thai I've had. Service lags so we always go early.

    I've eaten here at least a hundred times...but never in store. I always get take out. Chicken yellow curry, add broccoli. With the rice, some dumplings, and mangos and sticky rice it is unbeatable.

    Addie's occupies the space that used to be Thai Buree' and the decor is essentially the same. The menu is extensive, nice variety of dishes. Had Pad Thai w/ chicken and the noodles were sort of gummy. My dinner companion had one of the cream style soups and said it was "o.k.". The hostess seemed also to be the only wait person (there were a couple of servers). Service though, was excruciatingly slow.. Also, I ordered spring rolls that I thought were cold, wrapped in rice paper and what I got were fried egg rolls. I sent them back and eventually wrapped spring rolls came, but weren't cold. They were just o.k. So....the food was o.k., service was s.s.l.l.l.o.o.o.w.w.w.w. Prices were about what I expected, but the service made me resent both the cost and feeling obligated to leave a tip. Probably won't be back any time soon.

    I've only been here once but I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Great red curry, spring rolls and the jasmine tea is very memorable. I don't live out in the area anymore or else it would be a regular place to visit without a doubt. Next time I am in Chesterfield during the dinner hours I will certainly pay another visit to the Thai House. Note: I have not tried the meat dishes.

    HIIIII - YAHHHHH! That's my karate chop sound because this place kicked some serious ass. I am giving this place all sorts of thumbs up, stars, high-fives, you name it. It rocked my socks off. Twice. New Year's Eve. Blind date. I'm awkard, and apparently my friends think I'm strange. I think I'm strange.... this isn't a confesional? Oh, shit, back to the review. It was awkard enough being on a first date, blind date, internet romance... whatever you want to call it, but this place was beautiful and gave us a few things to chat about before the cocktails arrived. Ornate gold carvings hung from the walls. Beautiful oil paintings that presumably capture the essence of Thailand... The waitress was super friendly and dressed in authentic Asian costume, plus she was smokin' hot but not rubbing it in my date's face. She got a good tip. The beer list was good, as was the wine list. I was pleasantly surprised to see a good drink list. I feel like most Chinese/ Korean/ Thai restaurants only have Shapporo or whatever. Our food was coursed so we had time to chat and enjoy our adult beverages. The presentation was lovely; beautiful china and nice flatware. The chef delivered our food personally. I had the yellow curry chicken dish, it was divine. He had basil chicken and claimed it was also tasty... too bad we were so nervous, we didn't really get into chowing down like we should've... or at least like I wanted to. :) Our check was presented in a timely fashion and unobtrusively. First date success! Thank you Addie's. I'll be back!

    My friend on were on a Thai kick, well more so I was on a Thai kick and he was just along for the eating part. I found Addie's and thought lets give it a try. Upon entering we were greeted by a very friend young lady. She was eastern European, pretty and such a cute accent. Addie's was really just ok, b/c it was a tad over priced and compared to where we usually indulge in Thai food, this was a bump up in service, decor and over all ambiance, but it's still the same ol' yellow curry in the fancy china bowl it's served in. I think I'd go back just to see what I thought the second time through.

    One of my favorite restaurants in St. Louis, and maybe ever. Sooooo good! The satay appetizers are out of control - perfectly seasoned, cooked beef, with both a peanut and a sweet sauce to accompany it. The fried sweet potatoes are also delish; we order them for our toddler but end up eating half of it ourselves because it's just so good! The pad see hew with beef is hands down the best I've EVER had, and the Massaman curry is also quite noteworthy. The spicy eggplant would win over even non-veggie lovers - it's just that awesome. Tender, flavorful, awesome texture; I've ordered this with rice when I was looking for a "light" meal. Can't say enough. Authentic, friendly, delicious. I LOVE THIS PLACE. Go!

    The food is a little bit below average. The pad thai was not good. The tomyum soup was good but too salty. The papaya salad was tasteless. The thai iced tea was way too sweet. It was pricey though. The service was really nice and helpful. But I don't think I will visit it again.

    I will make it three. The staff here is very friendly. I can't award 5 stars for food, but I will exercise a little benefit of the doubt and award 4. This was a groupon (or something similar) find by Mom and Dad - turned out to be a good one. We stopped in for dinner early in Thanksgiving week. Our appetizers were their standard pot stickers/dumplings, and something the name of which I forget, but was in the form of almost lettuce wraps with veggies, dried shrimp, peppers, limes, and a sort of sugar mixture. The dumplings were truly excellent - great filling, lovely chewy wrapping and a very good sauce - slightly thicker than usual, which I really liked. The wraps were...interesting. We wanted them with smoked trout, but they didn't have that available, so this was the helpful substitute that was recommended. They were tasty...but the sugary topping was way too much. And I swear there was little chunks of lime plus the rind in the wraps. The shrimp got a little lost in all that, plus the chile peppers. If you cut the sugar down, and maybe ditched the lime rind in favor of more fresh lime, they would be pretty good. As it was, we wouldn't get them again. Entrees were panang curry with chicken, a beef and green bean dish in a thin brown sauce, and my mothers' pad see ew (sp?). All were very good, with huge portions. The panang was rich, creamy, and heart healthy (thanks to that coconut milk) although some of the chicken was oddly chewy - my dad thought it was reminiscent of abalone...but I didn't have any that bad. The beef dish was, I think, the winner, with beans just the right amount of crispy and soft, nicely cooked beef, and killer sauce, which was the perfect complement to the sweet, thick panang. Mom's dish isn't really up my alley, but it was good, with a sweet sort of glaze on the noodles and nice veggies. Worth noting that their heat-o-meter goes from 0-5, if I recall, with 0 being no heat, 1-4 being quarter teaspoon increments of chile, and 5 being Thai hot. Or maybe 4 was Thai hot, and 5 was listed as "unpleasant." Well - OK...Dad and I got both the panang and the beef at level 4, and unless the scale is really non-linear, 5 would be very easy to handle. Given the size of the dishes, a teaspoon of chile isn't that much. Price was pretty par for the course - maybe a little cheap even when you factor in the portion size. This one is on the list - we would definitely return.

    My coworkers and I frequently order take out from Addie's and have yet to be disappointed. I think by now I have sampled at least 75% of their menu. All of their curries are fantastic and the quality is comparable to the the best around. The Panang is probably my favorite nearly tying extra spicy Green Curry. Ooh, and the Roasted Duck Curry is sooo good also! Their Pad Thai is the best I have tasted and when we're all sharing, it's always the first to go. Finally, the staff is always extremely friendly and helpful. If you like Thai food, you have to check this place out.

    We recently visited on a Tuesday evening for dinner after learning that they were named Best Thai Restaurant at one time. In short, nice atmosphere, decent service, extremely disappointing food. I had the ginger chicken and my wife had the green curry with chicken. The chicken in both dishes was definitely either leftover or cooked earlier and warmed up. It was terrible and rubbery with that warmed up, chewy, and overcooked taste and texture. Look elsewhere for good Thai. We won't go back

    I have eaten at Addie's many times. Almost everything I get is divine, including the curries and the pad thai. I only have two minor quibbles: - The soup that comes with the lunch special is bland for my taste. I wish I could get Thom Yum with my lunch. - The Thom Yum is delicious, but ordered a la cart is rather expensive. The service is always fast and friendly, and the atmosphere is really nice.

    I lived in Seattle for a long time, and until I found Addie's, I was never really excited about any of the other St. Louis Thai restaurants. Addie's makes a spectacular Phad Thai, and unlike the others they will make it really hot if you ask them to. Delicious! Now I am back to having a true Phad Thai addiction, like I did in my Seattle days.

    I'm a student and Thai lover, and this place was a great alternative to where I usually go on the Delmar Loop. Food was fresh and prepared very nicely, had the pad see ewe which was not too saucy and was very good. Usually I make a mess of thai dishes, but this one was very clean and did not spill on my crotch at all. overall great place, little on the high end price wise for thai places but the extra few dollars are worth it for sure.

    I found this place by accident while searching for a decent Thai restaurant while on a business trip. The food was some of the best Thai I've had! Recommend the Tom Ka Gai to start as well as the stuffed chicken wings. Basil chicken was superb. Cherries jubilee for dessert was a nice touch (for birthdays one can choose the cherries jubilee, Bananas Foster or mango diablo). I can't wait to visit Chesterfield again to make another stop at this excellent Thai restaurant!!!!!!!

    Addie's food is authentic and excellent. My fave, Green Curry, they do it right. Dumplings were the hands down favorite of the appetizers - but nothing slouched. It's a refined and "take your time" dinner atmosphere - don't rush, savor the experience.

    Having traveled extensively around the world, I always want authentic ethnic food. So I make sure to find out that the owner and chef are not chinese selling "thai" food. Well, the owner is indeed from Thailand and the food in my opinion is great. Me and co-workers go there often for business lunch, so I have had a lot of the dishes on the menu. Service is also great. I highly recommend this place for authentic Thai food.

    incredible thai food. i am indian and love all ethnic food. i would rank this as one of the best thai/ethnic places i have eaten, ever. great spicing, delicious appetizers, beautifully presented. my all time favorite is the king and i and i would rank this at the same level. if you like the king and i and saffrom(for indian food), you will not be disappointed.

    This is a top notch Thai restaurant in West County. Since Thai Buree closed I was really missing some good local Thai. I was thrilled but what we got in its place. Addie's serves delectable food at a great price. Serving sizes are generous enough to allow for doggie bags and each dish is unique and delicious. If you are sensitive watch out for spices because they use authentic levels of pepper so Medium for most dishes will have a kick. I love the curried salmon and the large is big enough to share. The vegetarian Pad Thai is also delicious. They add on specials as well. Service is quick and polite...often by the owners wife and the decor is casual but very pleasant with lots of decorations from Thailand. Can't go wrong here. I plan to go back often.

    For the most part, I enjoy the food here. I always get the chicken satay for an appetizer. I love the two dipping sauces that comes with it. One time the chiken was pretty dry. I wish they would specify on the menu how the food is prepared. I try to stay away from battered/fried food and I ended up getting a dish that had battered and fried chicken. The decor of the place is very nice and cozy. Some of the tables are a bit close, but you hardly even notice. This would be a great place for a date! If you're looking for some great Thai food, you're almost guaranteed a good experience here.

    I will start with the decor and how surprisingly well done it is, very detailed and comfortable. The various curry dishes are well made and definitely spiced well upon request. The downside is the noddle dishes, I ordered a dish with the flat wide noddles, a pretty common noddle seen in most thai restaurants - however what I got was a soggy mush that was so overcooked it fell apart when I touched it and was slimy tasting, not very appealing. Also for the price they charge they should ensure they get it right, very pricey. Ultimately it was disappointing.

    A great destination for the International Supper Club July 29. Terrific choice, Sarah S.! Thank you. This is a lovely setting in the stripmall nearly next door to The Sports Page. The stripmall faces west so if you're coming from the east, you could miss it. If you get to Kim Cheese or the intersection of Olive and Woods Mill, you've gone too far. BUT, you can turn right at that intersection (There's a light.), and get to the stripmall from an entrance behind the 7-11. Everybody got different appetizers and entrees. There was a lot of sharing. I got Thai dumplings for appetizer. It was a massive serving, certainly meant to share. I ate two with the dark (a little sweet) sauce, shared, and STILL took home plenty. For entree, I got garlic chicken at the 0 spice level. It was served on a bed of cabbage, which was a major attraction, since I'd already had plenty of carbs with the dumplings. The chicken pieces were juicy, flavorful and aplenty. Co-starring in this dish were broccoli, carrots, onions and chives. Sesame seeds and garlic were in the sauce, as well as black flecks, which I took to be pepper. There was plenty of splendid garlic flavor throughout, as well as some other spices, but it wasn't spicy. This serving of garlic chicken could have served a family of 5. I ate a couple spoonsful, but, man, those dumplings were filling. Shared some, and STILL took home plenty. Water was refilled promptly. They knew we were on separate checks and did a spectacular job keeping all those tickets organized by person or couple. The servers were gracious. The hostess was gracious. All the water-pourers were gracious. It was a lovely and delicious dinner with a good ol' bunch of Yelp folks. My leftovers were five additional meals.     One of the great events we have in St. Louis is our International Supper Club. Once a month about a dozen people meet at some ethnic restaurant. This is choice was outstanding. With 12 people, separate checks, chaos, and conversation the servers did outstanding work. I ordered the Thai beef noodle soup. My spice level was none. The soup had slices of beef, rice noodles, cilantro, and bamboo shoots. It just blew me away as far as taste goes. Everything worked in harmony and the taste was spectacular. I would love to come back and try their lamb and duck dishes. There is enough items on the menu to keep a person coming back over and over and not have the same dish. Great job Sarah!!!

I wanted to have a cool ice breaker lol...Anywho, I've been to Addie's once before for some awesome Drunken Noodles (Pad Kee Maw) and the place knocked my socks off with delicious flavors, nice decor and great service. This visit was all about ISC (International Supper Club). It was not only awesome that Addie's was the location of choice but the group of Yelper's I had the pleasure of dining with was next level awesome. I decided to order something different so I went with Thai Dumplings and Tom Yum Goong soup to keep it light. The dumplings were plentiful; one order can definitely serve as a main course or be a shared dish. There was a meat filling with a taste that made me a bit skeptical; I'm not a beef or pork eater. When I asked the server what was inside she simply stated "chicken" so I took her word for it and moved along (with caution). My Tom Yum Goong was described on the menu as a delicious broth soup with lemongrass, cilantro, spice flavors and Prawns; I was excited by the mention of Prawns. When it arrived it was brothy indeed but I only had 4 standard shrimp and a few small mushrooms floating atop. It was tasty but I wished it was more like what I expected from the menu description. One thing memorable about Addie's aside from the food is the tableware. The dishes were beautiful and great quality. I can't wait to go back for the green curry.

    I'm always looking for new places to try for my international supper club. When I noticed Denzel checking in and raving about it, I asked him if he thought it could accommodate a larger party (12-14). He asked and they said yes so the reservation was made. The location is in a strip mall but it's very nice inside. Service was top notch the entire time. These dinners usually take awhile since we have a lot of people. We got out of there quickly for 12 people, with the appetizers, drinks, food and checks being taken care of with ease. Everything was perfectly timed. Our waters were kept filled and every request was taken care of. The food was great!!! I wish this place was closer to my house, but definitely see myself driving far for it. The thai ice tea was very good. I ordered the vegetarian combo appetizer platter to share. It included fried spring rolls, fried sweet potatoes and fried tofu. A lot of fried! It came with a tamarind sauce and sweet and sour sauce. Both were good. I liked all of the appetizers but the sweet potatoes especially. They were like fries. The tofu was the perfect consistency for me - firm. The spring rolls were just ok for me. For my main dish, I ordered the massaman curry (mild) with tofu. It was the BEST curry I've ever had. SO flavorful, perfectly cooked tofu and potatoes, a nice crunch from peanuts... so flavorful. I LOVED it. The portions here were huge. I took some home and got another large meal from it, which was also excellent. I will definitely come back. Thanks Addie's!

    This has become my go-to Thai restaurant in Stl county. I've probably dined in about three times and order to- go frequently. For me the merit of this restaurant is purely the deliciousness rating in comparison to Thai food I've had in nyc, atl, and philly. While I am not blown away, (because the prices of their dishes usually makes me think twice about ordering) I have to admit the food always comes out in a timely manner and is prepared to my expectations. Their curry dishes are all thick, spicy, and full of flavor. And that reminds me. Be cautious of the spice level you request here. They can make the dish intolerably spicy if you're not careful. The serving for their pad thai usually stretches as least two meals for me, so I usually order the pad thai to justify the relatively high price. Overall this is a restaurant worth visiting if you love Thai food.

    The soup broth was hot water, and the only taste it had was the chili oil floating over a small amount of mushrooms and very little chicken. Medium at Addie's would equate to napalm anywhere else. The wait staff should warn diners. The dumplings had a very nice dipping sauce, but a texture that indicated that they had been made and left in a warmer too long. My wife's Pad Tai, which I ate when the soup proved to be inedible, we both agreed was a sticky mushy mash of noodles, with only a hint of peanut, and very, very little chicken. The portions may be quite large, but when they are mediocre or inedible, all that means is that you take home to doctor more food. When a oriental restaurant charges as much ad Addie's, they should have a pleasing outcome. Not tonight.

    Good ambience and very tasty food. One of the better Thai places in the area. The thai fried rice was really good and so was the Panang curry. They are careful with the amount of spice in the dishes. We were a group of 7 and we were taken good care of. It's a little difficult to find the restaurant as it is not visible while on Olive going west.

    Possibly one of the best Thai restaurant's in St. Louis. From customer service to food everything was fast. We ordered their famous red curry which was very flavorful and delicious. The food portions are perfect. From the time we sat down to the time we began eating was approximately 15 minutes. If you order red curry you'll have the choice of chicken, beef, pork or prawns. The curry comes with bamboo shoots, zucchini, bell peppers and basil and side of white steamed rice. The food never disappoints. I found out about them through Groupon and have been going there since. They seems to run a lot of deals of Groupon and Living Social. In the end you'll end up spending same amount as you would without Groupon or Living Social because the way the menu is structured. For dessert we ordered Thai custard which is somewhat similar to rice pudding. Enjoy your dinner :)
