I used to eat here when it was Sam's highway burger and loved it. I believe it's now run by another family member, I have only made it to chicken larry's one time since they have reopened and I was in the mood for a pork tenderloin sandwich with some tater tots and fried mushrooms and onion rings (the girlfriend ordered the same sandwich.... I dont want to sound like a piggy). When we got home with our food the sides were nice and hot but kind of small in size, the pork tenderloin sandwich we ordered I wasn't overly impressed with, I guess I was looking for more out of it but it fell in line with a fast food sonic style tenderloin. There wasn't really anything wrong with the sandwich itself, may be it was me expecting more. When it was Sam's highway burger I always ordered the greasy cheeseburgers, so I will give Chicken Larry's another try on their cheeseburgers and some of their other items they have and go from there. Maybe I need to try this broasted chicken....

Every time I come here the fries are always soggy from grease. Yuck! The staff isn't very friendly. But I heard they have good milkshakes and their chicken sandwiches are pretty good.

I drive a hour for this chicken. It's work it to me. Tried another place out of state. Nothing like my first. Valerie the owner won't give me or Tyson Chicken the secret.

Good cheeseburgers. Good SusiQ's when oil is new. Disgusting when oil is old. Must not drain daily or hardly ever change it. Use to love the gizzards. Tried them twice since they reopened. Could not eat them because of old burned oil. There was black soot in the oil dripping into paper tray. Change your oil and flush out your fryers people. Twice a day if you need to.

Quite a treat. On a chance drive by looking for something to eat, noticed the broasted chicken sign. Hard to find even in larger cities, this place does a great job. Fried okra and coleslaw were great too.
