I'm happy to say that the night shift employee at this location turned my would-be 2 star review into a 4 star one! I pulled in at 12:58 am hoping to try the chicken and waffle sliders, 'cause dammit I love chicken and waffles in general, and had just heard that White Castle had these. There was one guy ahead of me. No biggie. Well, when we move ahead to the first window, we had to wait...and wait....and wait....and wait...and wait. It was 1:18 when the guy in front of me was handed his one bag of food. As he pulls off, the worker yells out, "wait, wait!!!" and the customer proceeds to blindly back up to get another bag of food. The asshat then attempts to pull out...but still has his car in reverse and nearly plows into me. I pull up, and he explains that he gave the other man my food. "I promise I'll make it right, though; your food is on me." Fat chicks + free food = better reviews. Thanks, dude! All in all, it was close to a 30 minute ordeal, but it was nice to see that the employee in this screw-up gave a damn about the customer experience. Further, the chicken and waffles was DELISH. My stomach usually doesn't do well with fast food, but the sandwiches didn't leave me nauseated at all, which is unusual. And they were genuinely good! Pricey, but good. I have no idea what the employee's name was, but kudos to him for making things right.

This location has the veggie sliders! I know that not all locations are offering them so I want to be sure to point out any locations that do. Keep in mind that the veggie slider patties are vegan but the buns are not. (Buns are vegetarian.) White Castle corporate office says that they are working on a vegan bun. I assume that if the sliders do well, they may become a permanent staple. As for this location specifically, this is my go to location whenever I go back home, and per my DD's request, it is always the 1st stop. So when I was home last month, I got to try the veggie sliders. They were very good! Try them plain, with ketchup, or with the Thai sauce, which is vegan. Yum! I know from past experience that this location commonly messes up orders, so just be sure to double-check your order before pulling away from the window, or off of the lot. Customer service is hit or miss. Sometimes you'll get attitude, sometimes you won't. But it's White Castle...home of the gas burgers; people come here for punishment.

Burgers tasted freezer burnt. Yuck. Dining area was dirty. Floor was so greasy my daughter was sliding on it. 2 stars only because the lady at the counter was courteous. Would never have come here except had an out of town guest that had not had a slider in probably 10 years and was feeling reminiscent.

A group of us came here on the way to the St. Louis airport. It was dumping snow, 12" that day, and we discovered that this White Castle is a great place to camp out during a snowstorm. Overall excellent service. Our server was super friendly, patient, and helpful while a big group of us tried to decide what to order. She convinced us to try the chicken rings which were delicious. And I do feel slightly ashamed to admit that. She also let us customize our order to get half of each type of burger and multiple flavors of chicken rings.

This White Castle is in a nice location. I had no problems with the staff. There were 14 of us we got our food quickly and were all satisfied. If you love White Castle you should go to this one.

I only get to eat you about once a year and you are still delicious. The staff talks down to you but if you can get past that then you are in luck! Nothing on the menu is healthy so dont be by what you get.
