One of the most disappointing meals we've had in a long time - walked in with high expectations, nice decor, friendly staff, and a lot of energy. Waiter was obviously trained to recommend up charges in a pushy way. "We recommend the larger piece of fish...$3 up-charge." Couscous is not a seasonal vegetable. Asparagus as replacement? Yes, for a $3? Yep, up-charge which should be more than 4 small spears. Fish was rich and at these prices we've had much better. Really noisy too, but that wouldn't have bothered us if we enjoyed the meal more.

My family and I celebrated a birthday last weekend. Upon arrival, we were somewhat shocked to find the bar area completely full. However, we were able to get a drink and a seat. A really nice touch was a server walking around with complimentary bang bang shrimp. Our reservation was honored and our food quite good. Problem: both a salad and soup were completely forgotten. While they were taken off the check a restaurant of this quality should not make this error. We will return but not on a Saturday night!

So, the 4 star is pretty much for the Bang Bang Thai Shrimp. They were oh so good. I suggest everyone try them. I also had the Corn Chowder w/crab which was very good also. What I wasn't so thrilled with...the Fish n Chips. They use Tilapia with theirs, which in my opinion, didn't work so well. The batter was overwhelming in comparison to the fish. So, next time I go, i'll try a different entree. Atmosphere was great, really loved the layout. Nice add to STL!

TAKE CUSTOMER RECEIPT WITH YOU AND CHECK YOUR BANK ACCOUNTS! I received an email from my credit card company a few days after I ate at Bonefish. It stated that they had noticed I left an unusually high tip amount. $22 on a $60 charge. I remember specifically thinking out loud to my boyfriend "20% of 60 is $12" and signing my check. I never take receipts from restaurants with me. After speaking to a manager there he emailed a copy of my receipt showing a $22 tip, no total on the total line and a signature that was not mine. The manager stated they were taking this very seriously and would conduct an investigation. A few days later I get a call from a random bonefish employee stating he was going to refund $10. I asked what the investigation concluded and he said he "had no idea" he was just the guy who gave the refunds and then asked if maybe I split the check and that was the mistake! I doubt I will hear back from the actual manager. Nathan C was the server. I never write reviews but hopefully this one saves others from being robbed from this man. I will never done here again aside from the fact that the food was comparable to Red Lobster.

Seriously, yelp might need to add a star. The best experience AND food I've had at brunch in a long time - Adam was amazing, pretty much like a long lost friend. Took care of EVERY single need, so welcoming! He told us about the happy hour during the weekday, which includes. Bang bang shrimp were crazy delicious, and coated with fatty, well seasoned sauce on top of crispy shrimp. The crab cakes were tender crab seasoned strongly, but also very fresh. The french toast was decadent. Everything was on point. I'll be back for Mother's Day!

My bosses 14 year old son knows that I Yelp and the last time he was visiting the office, he informed me I had to try Bonefish Grill. This young foodie told me, Bonefish Grill is his favorite restaurant. With a recommendation from my bosses son, I had to give it a try. I arrived at peak lunch time and the dining room was full. The hostess informed me I could sit at one of the communal tables in the bar and order from the same menu. I selected one that was empty, so I didn't have to share my space. My server arrived quickly and cheerfully welcomed me. I already had skimmed the drink menu and knew I wanted a Fat Tire. Their selection of beers is small, but they had an impressive martini menu. I'm going to have to return for Happy Hour to enjoy a martini. Wanting a quick lunch, I opted for the Fish-n-Chips and they did not disappoint. The fish was done Tempura style and the fries were crispy. I am not a fan of tartar sauce and I surprised myself by trying and actually liking theirs. I also liked that they serve ketchup in little cups, its' one of my little quirks. I never got to snap a photo of their offerings of sweetness, but they have them all and deserve a spot on my Rainbow of Sweetness list. I thought it would be awkward to ask the people next to me enjoying ice tea to snap a photo of the sugar. With us in the peak of Lent season, Bonefish Grill is going to be a great place to grab your fish on Friday.

I've been wanting to try this chain restaurant for a while after seeing it in other parts of the Midwest. I would say that the food was great for the most part. The Bang Bang Shrimp tacos was on point, the mussels were tasty, and the ceviche was ice cold, but a little more sour than I'm used to. Prices are normal, not too expensive. The crowd was older. Late 30s and up come to this place. I saw most of them gathering around the bar. The place was newly and nicely built. My main problem with this particular location was the service. We had a server named Michael I believe and he was just horrible. He came to give us our menus and take our appetizers, but that was about it. Unless he was bringing us our food, he wouldn't come back - not even when it was time to get the check. He did not come to check up on us at all. We had to flag him down and then flag down one of his coworkers to get him for us. We would see him hanging out by the kitchen door talking to other workers. I understand that it was close to closing time and we were his last table, but he could have been a lot more attentive throughout the night. I think the management really needs to keep an eye on their servers. If you see that your server is hanging out in the back doorway or by the kitchen door just talking, you really need to make sure they are doing their job. The service is the only thing that is preventing this place as the go-to place for me.
I visited Bonefish on their opening night. The dining area looked crowded and there were two spots at the bar so we ponied up there. Plus I wanted to watch MNF. My review is harsh, but I'd temper some of the negatives since it was opening night. But I owe it to Yelp to call it like it is. There were 3 or 4 bartenders in this bar that sat about a dozen or so. After surveying the staff, it was clear that some of them are trainers, and others are newbies. Our bartender took our drink order. My wife's cocktail came without a straw, so we had to ask for one. The space is nice... it reminded me of a Houstons if you've ever been to one of those (we don't have one in STL). Nice appointments, open space, dimly lit, but feels very corporate. One thing that seemed odd to me is that all the servers wear chef whites... with the typical pen and thermometer stuffed into the sleeve pocket. I'm sure the real chefs really apprecaite these poser costumes. Whatev. Upon looking at the menu, I was a little disappointed. Obviously the place focuses on seafood, but their fish options are limited. For example, the "Wood Grilled Fish" section of the menu includes typical fish options: Sea Bass, Tilapia, Trout, Tuna (see pic). I would have preferred a more eclectic selection of items. I can get any of these menu items at any upscale American restaurant in town. I looked at their online menu after the fact and realized there are many other options that weren't offered to us; Salmon, Swordfish, Snapper. Oh well. A typical entree is ~$20. We asked for dinner suggestions, but the dude only had tried one of their appetizers and one entree. He was of no help. We decided on fish tacos. My wife doesn't like cilantro or mango... both came on this dish so we asked for it on the side. It came with all the stuff on it. Fine by me but she had to deconstruct her portion. For sides we tried the pumkin ravioli (average), and the crab fried rice (great). We were still a bit hungry and it seemed everyone in the joint was getting the bang bang shrimp. We ordered that. It was definately the best part of the meal. It includes a bunch of sauteed shrimp over a bed of greens... and is really, really good. Get this. Service was odd. We really never established a relationship with anyone. We were served by 3 or 4 different people. And a food runner brought our food. While we were dining, we were brought meals for two other patrons... they figured out it wasn't ours but it was still odd. We asked for bread, but never were served any. We spent over $70 for decent food and drinks, with poor service. I'd say value for our options were a little below par. I'm sure the service will get better with age, and I'm sure we'll try them out again, but their first impression didn't make me a fan.

I really enjoyed my dinner here. The appetizers were very good with the Bang Bang Shrimp being the best. The dinners were well prepared and cooked to order. The Tilapia was good as was the Ribeye steak though an average cut at best. The waiters skill sets varied as we learned far more about specials and off menu items from the server working the other table next to us than our own, but ours was not bad by any means. You have to try the donut desert that comes with chocolate, Sea Salt Carmel and home made whipped cream. You inject the donut with the sauce its so good.

Quite good, but our experience tonight could easily have been so much better. Our bartender, Cliff, was great and very personable. He recommended the crab cakes (awesome) when we asked for small appetizer ideas and he was spot on with prompt service for our 70 minute wait. I had tried to get a same day reservation for a Sat nite, but the available times weren't to our liking. The young man we spoke to on the phone gratuitously explained that they take a very limited amount of reservations because mostly they are a walk in restaurant. We were seated in the time frame quoted which is always appreciated. Our waiter Anthony greeted us promptly and we had soon ordered. That was the last time he checked on until the check was presented! He said he was kept very busy but I had direct line of sight of him 3 feet from me as he chatted at the waiter service area for a good long time. My lobster Thermidor Mahi Mahi came with garlic mashed potatoes and spaghetti squash for a visually bland plate. Why serve drawn butter when the lobster is already drenched in sauce.? My fish had 2 bones as well. No one to complain to however. A female manager was walking around "surveying" but I didn't see her stop and talk to a single table in the main dining room. On our way out a male manager stationed at the hostess stand blocked my exit by standing chatting in that area until he finally figured out that he had cut me off from my hubby. The Bonefish Grills we have been to previously were a more pleasant experience. Bonefish Grille is a big plus for the St Louis area and business was very good food. Overall I will give this restaurant one more chance to impress me. Managers should be acutely aware of their surroundings and their staff at all times. They were not.

Okay, so I'm a fan for sure! I saw this place while driving down Brentwood with my BF and we both said we would go. Well lo and behold, one night I was feeling like seafood and we stopped by. Now the cost is a bit $$$, but I feel it was well worth it. We ate the calamari, crab cakes, lobster bisque, shrimp, etc. It was so good. The place and ambiance was really nice. It was crowded with a 45 min wait, but we were able to get in (barely) at the bar. We were immediately attended to by the bartender and he introduced us to another one. They both took care of our needs, which was really nice that they were so attentive. They have a tv at the bar, but it is not a sports bar folks, LOL. It was not too loud and the crowds kept coming. The only issue I had was the lobster bisque. It was a bit thick and not well seasoned. I guess I'm spoiled by my one fav in the CWE who serves this dish up sooooo good!! Nevertheless, we will definitely go back, but not for the lobster bisque. ;-)

My friend and I dined the other night at Bonefish Gril. We were impressed with the salmon plate, crab cakes and of course, the shrimp appetizer. Our waitress was wonderful and helpful in helping us select from menu. Great place to socialize with friends after work.

My first bang bang shrimp tacos were on soft shell. Since returning, I haven't seen it on the menu with anything but crispy wonton tacos that I did not like as much. The happy hour (Mon-Thu) had a nice option of 2 of these crispy tacos for only $5 though, and that was just the right serving size as a starter for the meal. I had the Cold Snap cocktail with orange and berries that comes in a glass made of solid ice! That was really cool, turned some heads at the bar, and quite tasty. I would also recommend the Dirty martini and the White Sangria. Victor at the bar was great! Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos, crispy wonton shell = 3/5 Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos, soft shell = 5/5 Cold Snap cocktail = 5/5 (glass made of ice) Dirty Martini = 5/5 (blue cheese olive and provel-stuffed cherry pepper) White Sangria = 4/5 (lightly sparkling) Tilapia Imperial = 5/5 (lower cal-ish, nice serving size, potato au gratin was good)

Perfect decor and the ambience was great. The menu is clear and well structured. (5/5) The food runner blemished great service (1/5). The waiter was friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. The food runner need practice carrying plates out. Her hand had a seemingly involuntarily quivering movement when placing the plate on our table. The shrimps avalanched and two shrimps fell on the table cloth (which looked like some recycled paper). She said oops and left. I thought she would come back and deliver a new one. No. She came back with napkins and quickly cleaned the table cloth. Food (3/5). We had this two-shrimp-short bang bang shrimp for starter. To me it is more or less like a walnut-less walnut shrimp. I guess the popular bang bang shrimp is mimicking American-Chinese food...? Rendering my guess more tenable they even put two pairs of chopsticks on the side. Additional remarks: I believe every staff is well trained and particularly the professionalism of the food runner. What is causal to the food dropping must be the generous portion of the food. My suggested solution is that they can make the meal skimpier, reduce the amount of shrimps. Delivering shrimps piled up like hill is for sure a perilous and impossible mission for a steady hand or a tenacious grip. The calculated overall is 2.509 rounded to 3.

Left me standing in the aisle while they prepared my table. Once I nicely asked to speak to the manager; hostess apologized. Food was fine, but amazing neither the appetizers nor the entrees were served to all four of us at the same time. Ok food. Was tasty and love their bang, bang shrimp - bit Seeds in spaghetti squash is not acceptable.

If you want to see the future of great chain restaurants that are spanning across this country, I can't think of a better place than Bonefish Grill in the heart of Brentwood. Now I don't speak highly of all chains but this place is great! From the great location, the seating, service, the staff in general and the great food, Bonefish Grill looks like it may be new STL staple. For appetizers we started with the Bang Bang shrimp, what immense flavor and a definite must when you go. I also had the spring basil fettuccine; I love a great chicken fettuccine but the asparagus, fresh tomatoes, cheese and artichoke pesto were perfect for me - all very delicious, all clearly separately herbed and spiced and came together for an explosion of flavor that definitely was not wasted on my palate. The sangria flatbread was so delicious, I go senseless for anything with a nice drizzling of mascarpone cheese and you can definitely taste the freshness; so sweet, tangy and delicious, I'd go there just for a pickup order to eat while I watch Scandal. I know this may sound like a given but I soooooo appreciate not having to hunt down someone to refill a drink or beg for napkins. At the same token, I also appreciate not being hovered over as I'm trying to enjoy a meal with family or friends; none of the above mentioned was anything I had to deal with at this lovely new spot. I can't wait to come back here and experience new dishes and even try their brunch. A++ service and A++ fare equals 4 Stars in my book. Welcome to St. Louis guys!

St Louis is lacking in great seafood places. That is to be expected in a city that is landlocked. So a great seafood restaurant here might not be amazing somewhere else. Another chain seafood looks like what we are going to have to work with. This place is good. The menu offers a huge selection without being overwhelming. The service was perfect. I prefer someone that is friendly and warm but doesn't talk to much, and somehow your drinks are always filled and they seem to read your mind. Mike very much fit into this. The decor was nice but it was not stuffy. I had the bang bang shrimp the steak cooked just the way I asked, crab cake and a key lime pie that was amazing. I can't wait to try more. I will be back!

EXTREMELY HIGH NOISE LEVEL. For a table of seven, I could only talk to the two individuals next to me. I couldn't even hear the waitress when she spoke to us at the other side of the table. SO annoying the quality of the food was secondary. PLEASE take the din out of our dining experiences.

Went to the restaurant for the first time with friends for my birthday. Atmosphere phenomenal, food was delish, service was great. My only disappointment was the drinks. Was told that all signature hand crafted drinks were made with fresh fruits. Since it was my birthday I splurged and tried a watermelon martini. The drink look nothing like the photo and the watermelon chunks which were pinkish/white in color, not red like watermelon normally is, were frozen hard as a rock. So they were dishonest about that and the drink costs too much not to be made fresh! Outside of that, it's my new favorite place!

Three words: bang bang shrimp! That is seriously the most important thing you need to know about this place. The bang bang shrimp appetizer is what keeps me coming back. It's large and delicious! It's large enough to have as your entree, which is what I often do here with a side salad. Their other menu items are just ok in comparison. I've been a few times and that's the most exciting thing I've had here. One time I had the lobster grilled cheese, which was ok but I couldn't really taste the lobster in it. I will say that the lobster bisque is pretty good though. BFG has a range of prices but it's not a cheap restaurant by any means. It's casual but the atmosphere has dim lighting and more of an upscale ambiance with the dark wood accents and its sleek style. Kids are welcome here but this place seems to be more on the sophistocated side of the spectrum of restaurants. The service has been good every time I've been here. They serve free bread with good seasoned oil which is also a plus. Again, whatever you do, you have to try the bamg bang shrimp! You won't be disappointed.

Awwwww yeah! I couldn't believe my eyes when I was scrolling through the list of "Hot and New" places on my Yelp App the other day and saw the name of this place pop up. I didn't realize they had opened a location in STL!! I have only ever been to the location in FL with my parents over the summer for the past couple of summers now, and I didn't think they even had plans of coming to STL. Service was good, although there was only 1 server for pretty much the entire freaking dining room, so he had to delegate some tasks e.g. water refills, bringing ketchup, etc., to another guy (probably a buser), which was fine by us. That's called efficiency in my book, lol. I ordered my favorite thing to order...lobster grilled cheese which comes with a cup of lobster bisque. I'd rather not know how many calories I consumed that night, urp. And I was hella full afterwards, but soooo worth it. Sooooo delicious!! I want to come back and try other things too as they have a pretty expansive menu. They do have non seafood options for the *ahem* folks who dislike seafood. I hope they stay in business, cause I'd probably eat here once every two weeks minimum. Just for that grilled cheese and soup alone, nom nom nom!

I have been here three times - on my last visit the service along with food was horrible - my server came to us - asked "what drinks can I get you" then goes to the table next to us with this huge opening for them? Possibly thinking tip was better at the other table - I had a seasonal meal- after returning they had something comparable but didn't taste the same- thanks but NO thanks

I will definitely be back to this place. Our table had the bank bang shrimp as an appetizer her. It was enough for a few people to share. The texture was a bit crispy and it had a creamy sauce. I dined on the tilapia stuffed with crab and other goodies. It was pricey at $20... But you get the vegetable of the day as well as one side. The potatoes au gratin were extraordinary. The spaghetti squash not so much (but since that vegetable of the day probably changes on a regular basis, I will try something different next time.) I felt it was a good portion seeing as I took home a to-go container. Plus they start you with bread and their signature basil and olive oil dip. I can also appreciate that the happy hour specials are available throughout the entire restaurant...Not just at the bar as with some places. I believe the happy hour is Monday through Friday from 4 to 6:30 PM.

I don't give many five-star reviews, and since I believe this place is a little new, I really hope they can live up to my rating long-term. They really impressed me with everything - an all-around great performance. The venue is decorated finely. We sat near the bar at high-top and the booths were comfortable and spacious. Our waiter was able to talk reasonably well-informed about the wine list and let us try a taste of one before we bought the bottle. We ended up getting the Avalon Cabernet and I would definitely recommend it if you're getting something heavier. The bar area is clean and sophisticated. I'd like to come back just to see how the bar scene is too and test out the bartenders. The service was great. Our waiter was so nice and checked on us constantly. She split the bill correctly the first time, and went out of her way to let us share the food. The food was delicious. I split the Bang Bang Shrimp and the lobster grilled cheese sandwich with a side of tomato soup with a friend, and she had the macaroni and cheese as well, and all of that was plenty for us. The shrimp appetizer was the best thing - tons of flavor in a big way for these little fried shrimpies. The lobster sandwich was thick, creamy, and cheesy, and the tomato soup was top notch. Easily one of the best tomato soups I've ever had. I would've loved to get a dessert but that will have to wait for next time.

Today was my first and last visit. We waited 15 minutes to be seated (no big deal). We than waited a very long time for our appetizer and an additional 45 mins after that for our food to come out. The waiters were all looking confused like they didn't know what food belong to what table. I would not go back, I had an 8oz steak with a lobster topping. The steak was extremely bland, not even salt and pepper to taste. This place is overrated, the only good thing were the bang bang shrimp. I also got the freshly made lemonade, which they do not allow u to get refills on.

a solid four star visit. They are working out the opening bugs out during the first two weeks. So you got to give them the benefit of time. We had the swordfish, Tuna, and sea-bass. All were well prepared. The tuna had the tough vein running through it and was the weakest offering but still ok not great. The sea-bass was very good with the Asian soy sauce. The sword fish was also solid as well. The asparagus was way over cooked and we returned the order but the replacement suffered from the same fate. They offered no bread service which is ok. They also failed to have our silverware on the table when our entrees arrived and that was a big miss. They had a fine and affordable wine list. The restaurant has a nice layout large bar but a little too dark to read the menu. Several tables were using flashlights to read the menu. they closed off the back dining room which gave the place a more crowded appearance and a wait for tables. The place is located conveniently off highway 64/40 and i'm sure they will provide a viable alternative to Oceano in Clayton

I went to Bonefish Grill with a couple friends after work one day. I have been to other Bonefish Grill's before and was happy to see one open up in STL. I kept telling my friends "we have to order the Bang Bang Shrimp" and initially they were a bit skeptical of my recommendation. However, as soon as they took their first bite...everyone agreed that it tasted awesome! I also split the lobster grilled cheese and crab tomato bisque soup with a friend. The soup was amazing...top 5 soups I've ever had. The lobster grilled cheese was buttery, crispy, and very filling. The chucks of lobster in the sandwich were also pretty generous. We also ordered the white truffle mac & cheese...which was pretty bland so I don't think I'll order than again. The service was great. Our waitress let us taste test some wine before we committed to ordering a full bottle. You also get bread and olive oil served with your meal...which is always a nice extra treat.

Saint Louis has traditionally always been a day late and a dollar short when it comes to catching up with what's hip. Well, it's about time the Bonefish franchise dropped anchor here in town. We came in and were told it would be a 35 minute wait. 20 minutes later we were sat. Good start. I was worried with it being a cold night that the revolving door would make it a bit drafty. Somehow they engineered the entrance to keep the heat in which was comforting. First off, don't even think about skipping the bang bang shrimp. One of the best appetizers at a franchise restaurant you will find. The complimentary bread with olive oil and pesto is addicting, but save room for your entrees! I've tried most all the different fish during my travels around the country eating here and always go back to the trusty trout. They have a bunch of different fish preparation styles to choose from and a vast amount of side dishes to round out your meal. I've always thought they do a splendid job with their vegetables. A well thought out drink list serves Bonefish well too. This is about as reliable a restaurant you'll find. One month into its opening and it's settling in nicely. I'll be back.

After giving our son and his wife a gift card to bonefish for their anniversary, they went on Monday night. They were not busy. The waiter came over, told them of the drink specials and took their drink order. After 15 minutes their waiter brought their drinks. Then they ordered the bang bang shrimp as an appetizer. It never came. The order was taken for the main course, and they did say that the dinner was good. Bread came very late and when they asked for more, it never came. When the waiter brought the bill, our son noticed that their drinks were not charged the happy our amount, but he figured with the gift card, he wasn't going to say anything. So our son gave him the gift card and his credit card to cover the difference. The waiter was gone quite awhile and when he returned the entire amount was on his credit card. When our son asked about the gift certificate, the waiter said he did not remember receiving it. According to our son and his wife, the waiter "acted out of it" all night. Our son then called the manager. He asked the manager if there was something wrong with the waiter. The manager asked why and he then told them all that had gone wrong all night including the bill credit card thing. He said he would correct the bill. He did take care of it, but no apology what so ever and was totally unconcerned about their dissatisfaction. I am sorry I recommended this restaurant to them. Mu husband and I have eaten at this location 4 times. The last one for us was a week ago and we too had some poor service. We eat at Bonefish in Franklin, Tn. a lot and were so happy to finally get a bonefish here. Unfortunately, if the service continues to be a problem, you are going to lose customers, in spite of having good food. Hopefully, this is being read by the restaurant, and they will take care to better serve their customers.
I found myself in STL without a clue where to eat, but luckily this location had just opened three weeks before. There is not much to say about the place, like most other Bonefish Grill's the service is good as is the food. I had the usual Bang Bang shrimp which were OK, slightly underbattered in my opinion and the Grilled Salmon. The Grilled Salmon was perfectly grilled, but the lemon butter sauce lacked flavor which I rectified by getting Mango Salsa. Overall it is what you would expect from a Bonefish Grill.

Heard the talk from co-workers so had to give it a try. Appetizers: were at the table incredibly fast. We were amazed. Found the Maryland crab cakes were under cooked and almost raw in the middle, the bang bang shrimp was excellent and abundant. Portion size was large The ceviche was piled overtop of chops romaine lettuce in a cup which left you digging through it in search of the little tidbits of seafood buried within.it lacked any cilantro which is a main stay of any good ceviche. Coconut shrimp was nicely sized shrimp but obviously pre-made and microwave heated and served on a very hot plate (the way plates get in a microwave. Main course: To be fair I may have ordered poorly. Having never tried a fish called Oscar? Terrible fish to eat. Lacking flavor, with a slimy texture that disintegrates in your mouth. I wonder why it was recommended and on the "daily specials" List. The few crumbs of crab meat sprinkled on top was not enough to dress up a bad piece of fish. My friends filet was done well, she did not comment on it at all. Desert: Flourless chocolate cake with ice cream rich with good quality ice cream, the key lime pie served custard style as it should be. Last comment which I always take to heart; When I ask the server what is the chef famous for, as in what is his signature dish? And without hesitation I'm pointed to the nights special... It's obvious they have no idea and are trying to move product. Our take home opinion is this is a nice place for appetizers and a couple drinks before going out, or desert and a nightcap after dinner elsewhere but definitely not a destination place for dinner.

This place is overrated. I heard quite a bit of hype about this place, and I even went 3 different times before we could be seated in less then an hour. It was overpriced for the quality of food. I don't know if it's what we ate, and perhaps I need to give it another try, but the fact that this place has been so busy blows my mind. I don't mind paying a heavy price if the food is worth it, but not here. There are way better options in St. Louis for your seafood choices. I heard the bang bang shrimp was the way to go, so that's what we got for the meal. We also had oysters for an appetizer. I have had better options at long john silvers. Not to mention I got food poisoning, and that is never a fun experience. The staff was friendly, the waiters and waitresses just seemed like they may have been taking care of too many tables and it seemed difficult for them to keep up, their attitudes were all great though. All and all we were disappointed.

Mediocre food, wait staff and above average ambiance. Took my fiance there to enjoy a dinner on a weeknight. Staff was good to seat us and we enjoyed our table but very disappointed with quality of food for the price. Its an expensive Applebys but for the decor. Our waiter hawked a lobster dish on the menu that was a salty overpriced tv dinner. Heard him at the next table doing the same thing. Good place for drinks though.

Visit #2 - I'm an old crust but this one puzzles me? Our server had no clue! Her lack of knowledge led me to believe that she just walked in and put on a jacket! I'm not a big fan of Outback, their sister company but I recall that they did a pretty good job of service. Oh well, back to local businesses, shame on me for straying.

We went in on VDay w/o a Reservation, bu that's my bad for not planning ahead. They were packed and on an hour wait if you didn't have a reso, completely understandable. We were lucky enough to order some drinks and get a couple of seats at the bar while we were waiting as there was a couple that was just getting up as we were ordering from the bartender. The decor is very nice you can tell its a new restaurant. During our hour wait we had a couple of apps, the bang bang shrimp first(very good and just a little spicy), then the crab cakes(average).I had beer to drink they only appeared to have only 4 draft handles, but they do have a bigger selection in bottles. My wife doesn't really like beer so she was happy that they had a HUGE cocktail and wine list. She had a pomegranate martini and a red sangria, she really liked both. I should note they had 4 bartenders on which showed how prepared they were for the Vday patrons. They were all very nice and made good suggestions, not only to us, but to every other customer that came by to get drinks. Once we got to our table which was a booth, we met our server, he was good and attentive. He made extended convo, with good intentions but its vday and were here with to spend time and talk to each other not the server. I get really annoyed and can spot with ease when a server or manager if making forced and fake conversation, its my least favorite thing about dinning out. I think restaurants as a whole need to dial that back, mgmt should be able to spot if they need to make a table visit not just go to every single table because they are forced to, or of course if I ask for the manager. Never the less everyone was VERY nice. We had caesar salads (good but standard). my wife had the lobster grilled cheese w/ the lobster bisque and really enjoyed it. I had the chop which was juicy and cooked very well. No desserts we were way too stuffed after the apps, drinks and entrees. Overall we spent about 2.5 hours here and it was a nice time. I feel like I could give them a 5 but the food is just too pricey for what it is, its better than most chains I will give them that but its still not 5 star material. The service I would give 4.5 but the forced awkward convo took that away. They do have a happy hour menu but if you go for dinner and want app, entree, and drink or dessert you will spend over $30 per person. There VDay special was for $30 per, and didn't include drinks which we didn't do because I didn't like that limited food offering.

Six of us 50-ish women went to happy hour. We found a table right away at 5:00 and had a great time. The house wines were fine and appetizers yummy . The highlight of the night, however, was our waiter, Anthony. He was attentive, patient, really nice and he gave us separate checks without us asking. We will definitely go back!

I was craving some fish while traveling and thought I would try the newly opened Bonefish. I have eaten at one before and typically find them to be very good. The positive is the people were friendly. The negative is the service was really slow and the server was in-attentive but that may be good as I was limited on the number of happy hour wines I could drink at $3.25 each which were quite tasty. But more importantly is the Ahi Tuna Steak was terrible. The first one was sent back because it was over cooked. I wish I would have stuck with that one because the correctly cooked one tasted terribly fishy and I'm praying I don't get sick tonight. I'm sure I will come back but I won't try their tuna again.

I had been hearing great reviews about Bonefish Grill from friends who now are repeat diners there, so The Boyfriend and I figured we'd give it a go. We are SO glad we did! We came in on New Years Day evening and there was a 25 minute wait which actually only ended up being about 5-10 minutes. The restaurant is decorated in a clean, modern - yet cozy - feel and was very clean. Our server, Victor, was fantastic! he answered all of our questions and was very knowledgeable about pretty much everything! I had a Bloody Mary which was delicious (especially if you like horseradish in your drink, which I do) and we ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp for the appetizer. Holy shrimp, Batman. The shrimp had a nice crisp on them and the creamy, slightly spicy sauce was delish. The shrimp sat on a bed of fresh lettuce and when you paired the lettuce, shrimp and sauce all together, it became a nice little salad! It was more than enough food for two people. For our entrees, I got the 6 oz. Filet Mignon with White Truffle Butter (YUM), garlic whipped potatoes and spaghetti squash. The Filet was cooked perfectly and had a great flavor, even without the truffle butter (but seriously - USE THE TRUFFLE BUTTER); the potatoes were smooth and had a great garlic taste to them; the spaghetti squash was cooked well. The Boyfriend got the Blackened Fish Baja Street Tacos with fresh romaine lettuce, lime crema (yum), mango salsa (double yum), and fresh pesto. Our server told him he could get them in the crispy wonton shell or do a crispy soft taco (he chose the latter). The tacos were really good. He chose chips as his side and to me, they tasted like Billy Goat Chips, which are good so no complaints there. Throughout the entire dinner, our service was great, everyone was very friendly and the food was so good we didn't even have take home boxes! I also think the prices are fine for what you get in return. The dessert menu was mouth-watering but we were too full after dinner to indulge. Maybe next time though! Because there will DEFINITELY be a next time.

Was excited to go and pleased we had a new local eatery. Then I went. Service was confused, at best. Drinks took 45 minutes to arrive and then arrived incomplete. No bread or water offered. Water was delivered, after two requests. For our party of five, food arrived in 2 plates, then 1 and then almost 10 minutes later the last 2. But, fear not, twice a staff person offered food we had not ordered. When our requested lemon for the fish arrived, it was delivered by a new-to-us staff person who simply reached between guests, dropped the plate on the table and walked away without a smile or a word as the lone lemon rolled round the plate a couple of times. Dessert came fairly promptly but not the ordered coffee. When we had finished the table was only partially cleared (now we could not get rid of the three plates of lemon we had acquired) but we were offered a soup and then a shrimp entree for some other table by another harried and confused looking staff person. The food was "meh" - much was overdone and no "wow" moments to make this Faulty Towers episode charming rather than tedious. Add to this, if more is needed, that the flooring is wildly slippery. I expected much, much better on all fronts. We eat out a few times a week and Bonefish earns the Worst Meal Out in 2014, so far.

I usually try not to frequent chains too much and instead support local businesses but this restaurant is in my stomping grounds so I at least had to try it. I had been to a Bonefish Grill wayyyy back in high school and wasn't jazzed, but last Friday's experience was pleasant. Two of us sat at the bar during around 5:30 and the dining area was already crowded which was a surprise to me even on a Friday. We were greeted quickly and I tried a winter cocktail with vodka, St. Germaine and white cranberry juice. It was really tasty albeit a little on the sweet side for my normal taste. I finished my night with Manhattans... We decided to just split a few items instead of eating entrees. We started with Bang Bang Shrimp which my boyfriend had eaten before and enjoyed. They tasted really great but they were not spicy like advertised. We asked for Sriracha and life was better. We followed with a wedge salad. I mean, unless you have old lettuce it is pretty hard to screw up a wedge. End of salad review. From then on we had some Waygu pot stickers with a ginger soy sauce. I loved them and thought the meat inside was flavorful and tender. My boyfriend thought the ginger was a little overkill. And even though we were at a seafood restaurant, we split sides of mushroom ravioli and truffle mac 'n' cheese. I know, I know, weird combination of foods that night. The ravioli were tasty though I would have liked a slightly larger portion. The mac 'n' cheese was a snore. I am pretty certain there was no truffle in the dish and despite it being boiling hot (literally, came boiling in a skillet to the bar) the heat could not hide the bland flavor. Decor is sleek. Service is friendly though could benefit from a bit more training on the food preparations. I am sure we will return when a local restaurant just won't do.

I sat at the bar on a Tuesday night to kill time before heading to another event. Started out with a Cold Snap Cocktail - served in a frozen glass made entirely of ice A frosty treat of Reyka vodka, Solerno blood orange liqueur, muddled blackberries, fresh lemon juice for $8.50. I can't think of any place else in the STL area that serves a drink in a frozen class. The drink itself was tasty but very small, filed with ice cubes in an ice glass? Not a very good value at $8.50 but unique. One thing that i did find that was a value was their calls, and supper calls during happy happy hour. I was pleasantly surprised that Maker's Mark was super call for $3.25. As far as the food: I had the Wagyu Beef + Ginger Potstickers - Pan-seared with crispy onions, Thai peppers + soy sauce. Wagyu literally means Japanese cow, and the meat generally has more marbling that your traditional American beef and it's more expensive, or fancy. For me it doesn't make sense to use it in a dish like this because wouldn't be able to tell the difference Wagyu or your typical Angus beef. It's just a fancier description for beef and ginger potstickers. I also had the Teriyaki Chicken Bowl - tender-marinated chicken served on a bed of fried rice, topped with fresh mango salsa, chopped peanuts + drizzled lightly with peanut sauce. I wasn't very impressed this dish. Very little teriyaki flavor, the fried rice was very mushy, little mango salsa. Over all i had an ok experience and will definitely go back and try the wood grilled fish. I did enjoy ambiance of the place and thought the service was good too.

Typically, I try to avoid chains, mostly because there is so much good food in St. Louis. I was pleasantly surprised. It was fairly late for dinner, 8:30, so the restaurant was not crowded. Our waiter, Ricky, was friendly and knowledgeable. At his suggestion, I ordered their version of "Moscow Mule." Grey Goose, fresh lime, house-made ginger syrup, ginger beer. It was in a rustic copper mug (CUTE) with crushed ice, fresh mint, candied ginger. It had so much ginger infused that it tasted "healthy" Can an alcoholic drink be beneficial??? Anyhow.. We started with the Maryland Crab Cakes - jumbo lump crab is always a winner in my book. My bf wished the cakes were "bound" more into a traditional patty. The red remoulade sauce had a spicy kick, but for the most part I skipped it. I ordered the Crab-Crusted Orange Rough, topped with crab, white wine lemon sauce. The fish was cooked perfectly - NO tough overcooked edges. Light and delectable. BF ordered the Tilapia Imperial stuffed with shrimp, scallops, crab meat + lemon caper butter. YUMMY!!! Why only 3 stars, although the FISH WAS TOP FLIGHT - the sides were easily forgettable. My drink, though tasty, didn't really seem to contain much alcohol. The pesto/oil provided with the bread was good, yet salty. But hey, I came for the fish and left full.

Gluten free menu available. Not too sure how dairy free it was, I ordered tilapia and vegetables and took a Lactaid just incase there was cross contamination of butter in the cooking pan. The waiter for my table cared about my allergies and tried his best to make sure all the food I received was ok. Fun place, full bar. I would go back.

Ate here for late lunch today with friends. Not busy so seated and offered beverages right away. Homemade lemonade was a hit but takes time. Refills required our server trying to find the bartender, so was slow. Took a little too long for waiter to come back and take our order. He started putting table settings near us so had to ask him to come take our order. Friend has fish tacos and enjoyed them. We both had corn chowder which was nicely spiced. I ordered a Cobb salad with mango and blue cheese and dressing on the side. Arrived topped with chicken so it was sent back. Returned with dressing all over it. By that time everyone was eating so I wasn't sending it back a second time. Mango was almost non existent. Maybe a 1/4 cup of very tiny pieces.

Not bad at all. In fact, it's pretty good. Bang bang shrimp was excellent. Crab cake was delicious but very small portion. I had the tilapia imperial which was ok nothing to brag about. I've picked crab fried rice my side dishes for $4 extra and it came out a few spoonful portion & bland. The service was excellent. I will be back. I minus one star for no host or manager in sight. No one came to our table, and greet us when we were leaving.

Not toooo shabby, I must say. Getting here was much easier than I thought. No need to make U-turns to get to this place. Parking was abundant for a late Saturday lunch. Ambiance was very inviting & warm. Rich dark woods. The tables were the most interesting part. Long long dinner tables. Kind of reminds me of the seating at Pastaria. The food itself was delish. My parents & I got our food in no time. The calamari was delightful. The sauce was spicy with a hint of Sriracha. The fish & chips were tasty. No cod. Thank goodness! Tilapia. Freshly fried. Good choice of fish. Not tooo heavy & kind of light. I love how they put whole peppercorn shakers & sea salt shakers on each table. Kind of healthy that way. Service was great. Loved how they used butcher paper on each table. The one thing I thought was odd was they said that they have soup, but did not state on the menu what kind of soup they serve (or maybe I missed it & is hiding somewhere a la "Where's Waldo"). I agree with previous reviews that the location is great.

The food was tasty but we were seated in the first booth on left side as one enters the restaurant around sunset. The sun was literally blinding to the customer seated on the east side of the booth. It lasted for 30 minutes. The restaurant was unable to do anything about it! Don't let this spoil Your meal.

Service was terrible. Calamari was over cooked and chewy, lobster taco was overly salty, crab cake was under cooked, filet (ordered medium) was still raw in the middle, our bread was delivered after we were finished with the meal, crab topping on the sea bass was cold. Atmosphere really wasn't great either. The only good part of the meal was the sea bass and the asparagus.

My family and I were told there'd be a 55 minute wait when we showed up. An hour later, we were told there were still 8 groups ahead of us. I understand you can't control how quickly people give up there seats, but they should have saved us our trouble and simply told us they wouldn't be able to seat us that night due to the number of reservations. It's completely unacceptable. The management was unhelpful, it was an overall poor experience.

Our first visit was pretty good, Bang Bang Shrimp is delicious. Our 2nd experience was really terrible. Our food was cooked incorrect, two meals had wrong cuts of meat (overlooked), mashed potatoes were not mashed and LOADED with globs of cold butter, broccoli cold. The manager offered to correct it but it took longer than usual and then the corrected meal was INSANELY over salted. Hey, this happens...but the manager didn't offer to cover anything, even the cold food the rest of our party had politely waiting for ours to come out. After speaking to a manager, our waitress got really upset and didn't speak to us, abruptly (and rudely) giving us the corrected check. It was very confusing to feel "punished" for being the victims of really bad food. Weird. Go to Bristols.

After a two hour wait (was told it would be one) and bland food, this is not on my "go back to anytime soon" list. And someone might want to explain to the chef that couscous is not a seasonal vegetable. The poor server tried to explain that one to no avail. That was funny.
I've loved this place every time I've been there. Sitting at the bar is my favorite. But I believe sitting/eating at the bar is always the best. Try the bang bang shrimp. Delicious. I keep getting the salmon, buttered option. They have different ways you can pick to have it prepared. It sometimes comes with couscous. This time it came with sugar snap peas. You get to pick a fresh side or upgrade to a deluxe side. I've done the broccoli and asparagus. This time I upgraded to the crab fried rice. I liked it but my friend thought it was a little oily. I don't agree so you can see that people can eat the same thing and it's just about your own tastebuds. They bring you bread and dip too, it's really good, ask for it if it's not offered once you order food. My friend had the herb pesto rainbow trout, I'm not familiar with trout so I tried it and it was tasty, I'd order it. A white and a red wine I can recommend are the Coppola "Director's Cut," Russian River chardonnay & Francis Coppola Black Label Claret, California.

I live near the Brentwood Bonefish Grill and was anxious to try the place. My boyfriend and I went on Friday night around 5:30 pm (1/23/15). As with most restaurants, the first person you deal with is the hostess. The hostess at Bonefish Grill was very unfriendly and not helpful. She changed the wait time 3 times before we were even given our pager. The restaurant needs to get a new hostess as that is their first impression by their customers and they certainly don't want it a negative one. The drinks in the bar were very tasty! I loved the selection and variety. We were fortunate enough to find a space at the bar so we didn't have to wait an hour for a table. The waiters and waitresses were very friendly and helpful, that was a definite plus. The food was extremely mediocre. This might be because I like highly spiced foods though. The potstickers definitely needed some kind of sauce. Not sure why you would grind up pricey Wagyu beef and stuff it in a potsticker to steam but with this being a chain restaurants, not sure they have control over the dishes. I might go back to Bonefish Grill for drinks, but otherwise, not sure I would go back for the food. I was so excited to try this place too .......

Amazing service, awesome date night atmosphere, doesn't taste like a Chain restaurant! Amazing seafood!!
One star for the ambience, one for the service. Menu is bad, food is horrible (whatever you do, don't order fish and chips!) and it's very pretentious. Not worth the price.

This was disappointing- I have been to a bonefish grill out of state and it was simply spectacular.. This time the service was slow and out of our 6 person party 3 orders were wrong or not cooked properly. Hope this location gets their act together soon because it's a shame.

I love bonefish. We have enjoyed their Nashville and Boise locations for years. We live down the road and have anxiously been awaiting the opening of our first in St Louis. Not going on opening night was not an option. I am certain we will be back because of proximity and because the food was excellent but there were some major glitches that I would not forgive an established place. Friendly staff, perfect ambiance...the isles were blocked by an over staffed shift but that's to be expected. Our waiter Matt was friendly and knowledgable. It seems weird no one acknowledged it was opening night. When we mentioned it they begrudgingly agreed. Weirdest part was the wait staff used an iPad as a point of sale device. (I assume they did because they were always playing on an iPad in the corner). You would think this technology would be to make food and drinks arrive quicker. They took forever. All our drinks arrived with apologies for their late arrivals. Our appetizer was similar and our dinner arrived so late that our waiter had to confirm with us that we hadn't already received it, eaten, and discarded it before he noticed. A major annoyance I am chalking up to opening night...halfway through, before getting our main course, they turn the lights and music way up. It was like it was closing time at a bar and they were trying to hurry us out, except it was 7:30 opening night of a restaurant. If that continues, I will not return. The remainder of the evening was stressful and the cracks began to show. As far as food, it is the best I have had at a bonefish. We had bang band shrimp, sword fish with pumpkin ravioli, and the bonefish salad. Good, not great...

I've been to a few of the bonefish grills in Florida.. The food was just ok. With time they will be up to pay with the other locations ..I like ahi tuna very rare. Lightly seated it was cooked down too much. The bang bang shrimp is suppose to be the most popular thing on the menu and it was just ok... not like what I treated at other locations. The dirty martini was fantastic though and the lobster bisque. I plan on going back and giving it another chance because I know it will be great in time.

Oh, brother. Entree came before appetizer and was taken back with a promise it would redone. Right! App - pot stickers - was okay, but when entree came again, fish was cold and veg barely cooked. They comped the entree, but I would rather have had a good meal. Go elsewhere.

I am totally glad that STL is finally trying to come up with more nicer restaurants, I will 1st say I am glad that I made a reservation than just walk in... it was around 5:30 and it was a nice crowd all ready. the host was really pleasant, our server she was awesome, very knowledgeable about everything on the menu this was my families 1st time dining here. the Bang Bang Shrimp for starters was great.. Such a great Hit, I had the Modern Mojito, very good, I ordered the salmon with Herb Pesto sauce... My meal was very very good my family enjoyed there's as well the atmosphere was very on point.. I wouldn't recommend brining small children... but over all I love Bone Fish Grill ,Great tasteful food and the atmosphere was very upscale and the price of the meal is really good. I will definitely be back for a date night.

My parents and I found Bonefish Grill when visiting my brother on the East Coast. We were extremely excited when we found out that they were opening a location here in St. Louis. Having been to a few locations in D.C and Atlanta, we were anxious to eat here again. I made a reservation months ago for a celebratory dinner for both my dad and my birthday. We went on 1/24/15 at 7pm. I got there a few minutes late and my parents were already there, with a buzzer in their hand. I asked the hostess why we had to wait when I had a reservation for 7pm, and she explained that too many people were staying longer then expected. In other words, Bonefish overbooked. After waiting for 45minutes for a 7pm reservation, my party was seated at a booth that had a table in the center. We all got seated and found that the table/booth situation was extremely uncomfortable and was literally digging into the stomachs of my dad and boyfriend. Then came our server, Derek. At first he was nice enough, but we asked if something was wrong with the table and were looked at as though we were crazy. My boyfriend stopped another server and asked if the table was in backwards and was immediately met with a "NO!" My boyfriend had to stand up the table was so uncomfortable. A manager came by and asked us if we wanted another table and we said yes. When the staff was trying to pull together another table for us, my boyfriend simply turned the table around and fixed the problem. The fact that no one believed us was annoying, but to top it all off, not one person took a look at what we were trying to explain about the table being in backwards. After that fiasco, we got our appetizers, but had to ask another server for plates. Then we had to actually ask our server for water refills, a beverage that was never delivered to our table, and we even had to ask him to order. My dad tried to explain to the server, that we had waited almost an hour for our table and were hungry but that seemed to turn him off from us even more. He didn't talk to us very much for the rest of our dining experience. The manager came over and apologized to us for the extra long wait on our entree's. We were just frustrated by this time. When we finally got our food, it was good, don't get me wrong, but it was almost 9pm by this time. When our reservation was for 7pm!!! The manager, Nate Nordstrom, again came by our table and apologized for the service that night. He was very honest with us and forthcoming. He was probably the best part of the night. Knowing that he cared about how we were treated salvaged the night. I'm not sure if I will ever go back, but thank you Nate! Not sure if reservations mean anything to these guys, but I will defiantly tell my friends to think twice if they think about going to Bonefish. So extremely disappointing. Especially knowing that we've been to a few other Bonefish Grills in the country and have had nothing but sparking words to say about them. When we finally get to go to the one in our area, the night is a disaster. Very disappointed. Shame on you Bonefish. On our way out we saw another family sitting in the same booth that we did, having the same exact problem. My boyfriend asked for their permission and turned their table around so that it was centered. They thanked him. At least they didn't have to go thru the same thing we did.

TGI Friday's of Seafood. Would like to give them the benefit of the doubt because it's Valentine's Day, but what an assembly line experience. Entire meal took less than 45 minutes! Salad came before the appetizer. Entree before appetizer finished. Entree cold and missing key accompaniments - drawn butter? Hello? Waiter was glib and unfunny. Undecided about a second chance.

Tried this place on a crowded Thursday evening. It's new to the St. Louis scene and the current hot-spot. The bar was packed and there was a 45 minute wait if no reservation. We decided to try the community table. Sat next to an interesting if not albeit curious solo regular diner who insisted that we get the bread because it was good and free! And, so it was. The lobster grilled cheese and accompanying lobster bisque was quite good, but nothing too special. The dinner salad was fresh but the dressing a tad sweet and overused. The chips were fresh and delightful. The service was a little slow to start but picked up as we went along. Very nice server and he was assisted by others in getting our meal out to us. The place is laid out very well, decorated nicely and had the hip Floridian seafood place theme. This ain't your grand-dad's Arthur Treachers Fish n' Chips and it's a ton better than Red Lobster. But, I still could not get the chain-restaurant feeling out of my mind when I was dining there. I think it'll stay on the business day lunch list. Decently good, not great.

We walked in amd the bartender was busy with his friends. He dropped a menu off and processed to walk away, his friends stared and talked, after 5 minute's of feeling like a zoo animal I asked why they were talking/p8inting about us. Then they proceed ton ask our sexuaul orientation, to their embarrassment it was my mother. The bartender Jeff or Jeffrey toldus all they could serve was fried food at 10:50pm, when I called at 10 amd they said the grill was open till 11:30. I have health issues and cannot eat frogged food, and live next door and have ate there many times. However; I have had the same weird/ bad experience twice and will not be returning. Working in the industry I know how pages should be handled amd they don't do it. We complained after being mistreated and they did nothing. So feel free to waste your money on bad service who mistreat and gossip about customers. I would recommend peace makers in soulard or even joes crab shack.

Lobster grilled cheese. Those three words brought me into this fine establishment. And they did not disappoint! Toni H. on Yelp, really Toni S. in real life (she needs to change her last name from getting married) and I decided on a whim at like 8:30 on a Sunday night that lobster grilled cheese sounded exceptional. And let me tell you, it was exactly that. It is buttery and cheesy and lobster-y... And then you are served a cup of lobster bisque along side. The bisque was incredible. I could have easily had another cup. You also get to choose between a side of mixed greens or house made chips. We both got the mixed greens and the balsamic on it was perfect. Toni was obsessed with it. We also split an order of butterflied shrimp topped with lobster served in a piping hot skillet with butter and capers... Oh my goodness that was great too. All in all I probably consumed my entire day's worth of calories in this meal but really it was fantastic. Oh and it doesn't end there... We also got Creme Brûlée as a dessert to split. Very good as well. We don't feel as guilty because we didn't get any drinks or wine... Haha oh gosh the lies you tell yourself to get dessert. The service was pretty good too. I was pretty satisfied with everything at my visit to Bonefish Grill. I will definitely be back!

The food was the bomb starting with bonefish house salad and complementary warm bread ... of course I added blue cheese crumbles ...Delicias!

Shrimp tacos with asian salad. Go here to have this for lunch. Today.

Louis guys!
(4)Rachel L.
(4)Noli L.
(2)Lois W.
(4)Caprice F.
(4)Kate B.
(5)Donnie ..
(2)Tiffany S.
(4)Annie S.
(5)Alicia B.
(1)Andy K.
a solid four star visit.

This was a terribly disappointing meal. We've been to the Orlando location several times and we were really excited when the St. Louis location opened. We had a reservation, but still had to wait almost 30 minutes for our table. My husband's pasta was not at all as described on the menu, and when he brought this to the waitress' attention she was rude about it. I ordered béarnaise sauce with my steak, and received mushroom sauce instead. My husband traded his pasta for a burger and fries- but the fries had calamari mixed in with them. The staff is poorly trained. The interior is reminiscent of a Joe's Crab Shack- right down to the plastic table cloths with brown paper covers. Too many other options in St. Louis to waste your time here.

Awesome food, awesome service, 15 minute wait which is crazy for a Friday night! Try the bang bang shrimp and the crab fried rice. You'll love it!

Shrimp bang bang, calamari, crab cakes, mojitos,& red sangria. Absolutely amazing food and service. Love this place and can't wait to come back.

Crab cakes are the best I've had, other than Bristols. I go just for the crab cakes!

(3)Mike C.
(3)Kat V.

We were very pleased with our night. Our reservations were at 7 pm and they were on time. Everyone enjoyed their selections. We had the pot stickers for an app and they were tasty. they could use a bigger waiting area...very congested at the door. I will be back!
(4)Patricia N.
The food was tasty but we were seated in the first booth on left side as one enters the restaurant around sunset. The sun was literally blinding to the customer seated on the east side of the booth. It lasted for 30 minutes. The restaurant was unable to do anything about it! Don't let this spoil Your meal.
(2)Prajakta A.
Beautiful ambience. Wonderful martinis.. Great fish. The wood grill taste is amazing on the fish. Bang Bang shrimp are a must have! However, service is so so. They did replace my overcooked steak with a smile though...
(4)Rick W.
As usual this was an amazing meal. Sea Bass is phenomenal and don't forget the lemon butter.
(4)Brandon R.
(1)Parker K.
(2)Katie T.
(2)Elizabeth A.
Great food and great service!!! I will definitely be back. St. Louis really needed this.
(5)Jim R.
After a two hour wait (was told it would be one) and bland food, this is not on my "go back to anytime soon" list. And someone might want to explain to the chef that couscous is not a seasonal vegetable. The poor server tried to explain that one to no avail. That was funny.
(2)Leanne M.
Our evening started a little rough. We were met with a dry hostess who informed us our table wasn't ready after making reservations 3 days in advance. We waited approximately 20 minutes and were sat in a booth with high traffic, (next to the bar) our server Derek apologized and greeted us with a warm smile and complimentary appetizer. My mother had the lobster grilled cheese looked unappetizing to me but she enjoyed it. The complimentary bang bang shrimp appetizer prompted me to try, sashimi and the bang tacos and spring salad. It was a delightful meal. Derek kept our drinks full, and pushed a delicious drink called "the tropic heat" he seemed to be very knowledgable of the menu, I ordered a few things to-go he recommended. I didn't enjoy the dessert "chocolate Creme brûlée" but the seafood and drinks were epically amazing, it made my overall my dining experience great.
(5)JoAnn H.

(2)Josie V.
Amazing service, awesome date night atmosphere, doesn't taste like a Chain restaurant! Amazing seafood!!
(5)Valéria M.
One star for the ambience, one for the service. Menu is bad, food is horrible (whatever you do, don't order fish and chips!) and it's very pretentious. Not worth the price.
(2)Louise L.
We had 6 people for dinner. We had a bit of a wait but they took good care of us. We found it delicious and will definitely return. Rey location, great service, tasty food.
(5)J R.
This was disappointing- I have been to a bonefish grill out of state and it was simply spectacular.. This time the service was slow and out of our 6 person party 3 orders were wrong or not cooked properly. Hope this location gets their act together soon because it's a shame.
(1)Elvi C.
(3)Kymberlie V.
(3)T N.

We were very pleased with our night. Our reservations were at 7 pm and they were on time. Everyone enjoyed their selections. We had the pot stickers for an app and they were tasty. they could use a bigger waiting area...very congested at the door. I will be back!

The food was tasty but we were seated in the first booth on left side as one enters the restaurant around sunset. The sun was literally blinding to the customer seated on the east side of the booth. It lasted for 30 minutes. The restaurant was unable to do anything about it! Don't let this spoil Your meal.

Beautiful ambience. Wonderful martinis.. Great fish. The wood grill taste is amazing on the fish. Bang Bang shrimp are a must have! However, service is so so. They did replace my overcooked steak with a smile though...

As usual this was an amazing meal. Sea Bass is phenomenal and don't forget the lemon butter.
